The boneless chicken to me was more on the crispier side and was more like large popcorn chicken than the boneless wings I am used to. It was our first time here (yes, i was that annoying customer coming late & asking for recommendations ), but the staff recommended cajun lemon pepper, sinigang, and tropical habanero! Wanted to try some unique chicken wings so we ordered sinigang and lemon pepper, which was recommended by the staff. Sadly, could not taste the difference between the two flavors, as they both just tasted like fried chicken. Unfortunately they forgot the 2 ranches we were looking forward to trying as well and paid for. The garlic noodles were okay and the spicy noodles were probably the best because of the spice itself. Writing a review after my first couple bites. My wings were dry and hard. They also gave me a small amount of chicken on my garlic noodles. The noodles were overcooked with zero garlic flavor. I wonder if it's because I ordered takeout I am sad to write this review because I was super hyped to try this place after the TikTok videos to yelp reviews. I've been here dozens of times and have supported since the beginning, but after my visit today, this may be my last time. I ordered online and everything was fine until I picked up my order and asked for 3 teriyaki sauces on the side - one for each bowl I ordered. They charged me $4.95 for 3 tiny teriyaki sauces. I can see if you want to charge $.50 each... but this is an insult. He gave me 2 extra sauces on top of the 3 I asked for, which I didn't need and didn't use... so this didn't make it right. Stopped by for a quick lunch in the weekend, left full and wanting to come back to try other menu items. On my first visit I got the Lomo Saltado. I was surprised when it came with both fries and rice, since I've only seen fry-pairings before. After eating it all I still prefer only fries, but I could see the rice option as a good alternative to avoid the fried aspect of the fries. The steak cubes had majorly robust flavoring, maybe so much umami as to turn off sensitive palates. There was a small amount of sauce in the bottom of the container, it was well coated onto the steak and fries and onions. I did mix the rice into the rest and found that after mixing it all the flavor is was slightly reduced but still satisfying. The Lomo saltado came with cilantro-mayo sauce (I asked if it was spicy but this is a different type of sauce completely). I tried it and found that I liked the steak seasoning as is. read more

We placed an online order for Garlic Noodles with tri-tip steak, and three 6pc orders of wings (Sweet & Spicy, Salt & Pepper, and Sinigang). Noodles are so good! We really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the noodles. Although the steak was good, next time we'll either go no protein or chicken. We both thought the steak clashed with the wings. Came on wing Wednesday for the $1 wings with 3 other guys. We ordered 15 wings each and we got 5 different flavors and fries to share! We all loved each flavor a bit differently but my ranking of each flavor would be: 1. Cajun Lemon Pepper (5/5) 2. Mango Habanero (5/5) 3. Umami (4.5/5) 4. Honey sriracha (4/5) 5. Ninja (3/5) If yall don't know what flavors to choose, you can choose as many flavors as you want as long as there's a minimum 4 wings per flavor. My personal notes that I had in mind as I was eating was that the mango habanero is similar to the wingstop version but less spicy and more fruity. I've driven past this place for months, but what brought me to this place were the yelp reviews referencing a sinigang chicken wing. For those of you who don't know, sinigang is a sour, savory Filipino soup. The curiosity called to me. I came here on a Thursday night and made it in for happy hour, which happens on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2-6 if you dine in. I got 4 buffalo wings for $5. I also took advantage of the yelp check in to get complimentary seasoned fries! If you come in on wednesday night, they told me that they have $1 wings! I would imagine that it's pretty busy on that night! In addition to the above mentioned items, I also got 3 sinigang wings and 3 cajun lemon pepper wings. The wings were incredibly crispy. I dined in and I enjoyed them hot. I'd recommend enjoying them hot and fresh as it was perfect. If they cooled down, it's possible that it could have felt drier. The wings and fries were also seasoned with a heavy hand. Nothing here was lacking in flavor. Sinigang wings were garlicky, incredibly savory, very salty, and they were very buttery. Cajun Lemon Pepper wings were also very buttery, but then you get hit with strong salty, peppery, and lemony vibes. But the buttery flavor does make the wings feel rich. Buffalo wings weren't as crispy as the other two with their dry rubs; however, it had that familiar Frank's red hot flavor that we all love. The seasoned fries were a huge portion and they were very heavily seasoned with Cajun flavor. I would order these again. I ate my items with a soda fountain drink and they had Pepsi products. Wish they had an alcohol license as beer would be amazing with the dry rub. They have other dishes like garlic noodles and lomo saltado and I'd like to try them. They also have an "umami" flavored wing that they described as sticky and savory with its fish sauce base. That is probably delicious and I'll have to get it next time. The restaurant is clean, spacious and has pretty cool vibes. I knew I had to try the Garlic Noodles and they were phenomenal! The noodles are actual chowmein noodles and NOT spaghetti noodles which I love. I topped the noods with chicken and I'm so glad I did. I've been to NGHBRS Kitchen several times and finally am leaving a review. It's located along Del Amo Blvd in a small strip mall area next to Friar Tux. The parking lot is relatively small so depending on when you go you might need to park in the neighborhood close by if it's full up. The shop space itself is small. Has some nice wall art and seems like they've added some arcade games to the front which I don't remember in late 2023. Several tables to dine in and of the times I've been it's never been super packed, but a good stream of customers came in. The restrooms never seem to be in order of the times I went which is weird. Service was great the guy at the counter was friendly and took our order promptly. I will say though the menu is a little difficult to see especially the tiny print with the food item descriptions. Even zoomed in with a pic I wasn't able to make out the tiny text. Something else to be aware of is that the audio from the TV was extremely loud the entire time me and my bf were dining in. We were literally yelling during our conversation just to hear each other. And even after we finished eating we left just because of how loud it was, when we would usually chill to chat more. I don't remember the loudness of prior visits. Food fortunately was spot on and delicious. We got an order of garlic noodles (chicken) and ninja fries (beef), which was enough to split between 3-4 people. Garlic noodle flavor was excellent, very garlicky and slightly sweet but definitely savory. The ninja fries were great as well.
