It's a One Stop shop location here with the pretty painted walls!

Delicious!! Had the avocado bulgogi, with the Power grains, brown rice and quinoa blend and an extra jammy egg. The mix of the kimchi and the delicious aïoli sauce brought in all the right spicy flavors together! Will be back

Sorry for the not so good looking picture, I had already stirred the bowl :) but the taste was great! Vegetables were crisp and fresh. The chicken was cooked nicely. The sauce on the side was tangy just right. And the lemon provided the right amount of citrus. Service was quick and easy. Ordered thru the app. And just followed the directions. Building was easily to find. It was clean. Parking was easy.

2 stars for the food and price. One star because they refunded me for a bowl and gave me a $10 credit, which I appreciate, thank you. This place was shockingly bland for the heavy use of gochujang and flavors described. We ordered the sweet chicken kimchi bowl that was missing roasted corn, kale, and kimchi. It was okay for missing so much but the sauce was interesting like a mix of salsa and pasta sauce. The gochujang korean bbq cauliflower wings had more smell than taste to them. Lastly, a korean hot chicken bowl which they forgot to toss in hot and sweet sauce. We paid $42 dollars for these items using the first time 20% off coupon and it was still too expensive for the quality of this food we received. For the price of this place I recommend they focus on quality rather than quantity, which is ironic since one of the bowls is missing half the ingredients.

I got a spicy chicken bowl. It was very bland. There was a good balance of veggies but there was zero flavor in the chicken and there was a low amount of chicken. My co workers and I ate there at the ghost kitchen. They tried to charge for a fork and didn't give napkins. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER GUY IS HORRIBLE AND MAKES YOU WAIT 5 min to get PERMISSION for a FORK! Give your customers utensils and napkins!

11/15 I paid 39.48$ on Uber eats for this and 2 sides of sweet potato This is what it looked like after opening the lid. 7 mini cold cauliflower wings.I used to order, not only were the portion sizes bigger but the wings were not kind of cold. This is not acceptable for a dinner.

Normally, I wouldn't give bad reviews for any place, as I don't have much to complain about with food. However, my order was absolutely unacceptable this time. I ordered the nuggets via Uber Eats and this was what was delivered. It didn't take me long before I noticed the texture after taking my first bite. Once I noticed, I removed it from my mouth and pulled it a part and noticed everything was undercooked except for the outer layer. Taking a knife and fork, I cut open all the pieces to see that more 95% of my order was raw and undercooked. I'm left quite speechless and when inconvenience has more to do with health/safety than preference, that's where I draw the line.

I reached out to the owner a few times and they never got back to me. Very disappointing I don't recommend this place at all, no one picks up the phones either

IMHO, rating my first experience with moonbowls, I give it 3.5 stars rounded up. In general, my Avocado Bulgogi bowl was tasty and filling. It's made with Impossible meat, kimchi, peppers, and caramelized onions. For my base, I opted for the citrus-marinated kale which didn't taste very citrusy nor marinated for that matter. Luckily I like kale and didn't mind that it was plainer than I expected. The main thing that knocked it down for me was that parts of the Impossible meat were overcooked. About 5 bites in, I bit into something super hard. It was a crunchy piece of Impossible. The rest of the bowl wasn't nearly as hard as this bite. Any other crunchy pieces, and there were only a few, were still edible compared to that super hard bite that I had to spit out. To be fair, the remaining portion of Impossible was non-crunchy and delicious. And also a generous portion. I really loved the flavors of the kimchi, peppers, and onions mixed with Impossible. I would likely give this place another shot. https://bit.ly/3EUzKPR Located at the Daisy Diner virtual kitchen, ordering moonbowls on Doordash was easy peasy. Delivery was the perfect option for us on a lazy Sunday. I like that the moonbowls menu clearly marks all vegan options, including their sauces.

A comforting takeout meal that I was in search of! I ordered the chicken & the egg for delivery with a side of the spicy special sauce. I definitely recommend the spicy sauce, as the included ginger sesame sauce was too sweet for my liking. It's great that everything is gluten free and they also offer Impossible beef, but I would love if they offered beef for meat eaters to satisfy bulgogi cravings :)

I found this place when looking for a quick vegan takeout meal during my lunch break... I was super confused by the ordering and pickup system, and then I learned that it's one of those facilities with multiple kitchens that is shared by a few takeout restaurants... I'm now definitely curious to try out some of the other options there! The pick up alley was pretty tight and a lot of people were there at the same time, so it was a bit chaotic. About the food - I tried the impossible avocado bulgogi bowl and sweet potato potstickers. The bowl was pretty good for vegan food, but I don't think I would opt for it next time. The fried cauliflower or chicken bowls do look delicious, so I would definitely try those! I'd skip the potstickers- the texture of the sweet potato was just too mushy for my liking. The dipping sauce was yummy though!

Everything is a soggy mess. Also they charge $1.50 for a sauce and consistently send the wrong one. Skip it.

The audacity of the name piqued my curiosity immediately, and I felt compelled to explore their menu in greater detail. As I delved into their offerings, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a diverse array of gluten-free salads, bowls, and desserts that were sure to make my mouth water. Among the options, I found myself particularly drawn to the gluten-free fried chicken bowl, a dish that promised a delightful experience. This bowl featured crispy ginger garlic fried chicken, which was not only gluten-free but also seemed to boast a unique blend of flavors. It came with your choice of base, allowing for a personalized touch, along with three sides that were thoughtfully curated to enhance the overall meal. The dish was finished off with a sprinkle of green onions, a dusting of sesame seeds, and a refreshing lemon wedge, all served alongside a gluten-free sauce of your choice. The base options were impressive, offering a selection that included jasmine rice, brown rice, cauliflower rice, or sweet potato noodles. Each base provided a different texture and flavor profile, allowing for a customized dining experience. The three sides you could choose from were equally enticing, featuring a range of delicious options such as sesame kale slaw, roasted sweet potatoes, corn salad, roasted broccoli, roasted mushrooms, chili-dusted pineapple, cucumber salad, pickled onions, avocado, jammy egg, and kimchi. Additionally, the restaurant offered the flexibility to add extra proteins, ranging from more fried chicken to sesame tofu, for a nominal fee of about $5 to $8, depending on your selection. You could also opt for additional sides and sauces for a minimal charge, making it easy to tailor your meal to your liking. If sesame seeds or green onions weren't your thing, the option to have them omitted was a thoughtful touch that showcased the restaurant's attention to customer preferences. To round off your meal, the restaurant provided a choice of a gluten-free dark chocolate brownie or a rice crispy treat, both of which came pre-packaged from an external vendor, ensuring a sweet conclusion to your dining experience. After careful consideration, I ultimately decided on the cucumber salad, jasmine rice, roasted broccoli, and pickled onions to complement my fried chicken bowl. The combination of flavors and textures was something I was looking forward to enjoying. The restaurant prepared my order with impressive speed, and as soon as the DoorDash delivery arrived, I could hardly contain my excitement. I eagerly dug into my bowl, and I must say, the chicken was nothing short of delicious. It was packed with flavor and had a delightful crunch, although I did find it to have a bit of a spicy kick that added an extra layer of depth to the dish. The sides were equally impressive; even the usually bland broccoli that tends to be an afterthought in many meals was transformed into a flavor-packed delight that I genuinely enjoyed. So impressed was I with the offerings from this restaurant that just a few days later, I decided to try their gluten-free steak bowl, opting for the same sides that had complemented my previous meal so well. While the steak was undoubtedly tender and bursting with flavor, I found myself a little disappointed by the serving size, especially when considering the price point. It left me wanting more, and I ultimately decided that my future orders would likely lean towards the fried chicken, which had truly won me over with its robust taste and satisfying portion. I have found a new favorite restaurant that caters specifically to those of us who need to follow a medically necessary gluten-free diet, offering tasty dishes at affordable prices. It's a refreshing change after years of settling for bland and unappealing food. I strongly suggest you try them out and say F$ck Gluten!

Although I get annoyed at ordering at the front, I will say they try and speed the process up as much as possible. Everything feels clean, classy and thoughtfully put together. When you first arrive, seeing the line out the door can be a little intimidating. Usually at places like this, I feel like I have to fight for my life to find a table, but thankfully that wasn't the case here. The staff was very kind and asks how many are in your party and helps you get a table, which made everything much less stressful. They also give you menus while you wait so you can decide what you want ahead of time. We arrived at 10:30am and our wait was about 30 minutes so by the time we were able to order at 11am, the lunch menu was also available. I ordered the tater tots, Cinnagave Shaken Espresso, Dutch Baby Pancake and country sourdough toast with jam. With tax and tip, my total came out to around $40. It's definitely pricier than what I normally pay for breakfast. Most entrées range from $17-$34 and coffees are around $5-$10, so you can easily spend $30+ for one person. In these hard times, that's not exactly ideal for me. I also wanted to try a pastry to get the full experience, but when I found out the small blackberry danish was $7, I decided to pass. I just couldn't justify getting that close to $50 for breakfast for one person. Now for the food! The country sourdough toast with jam was actually my favorite item. The homemade sourdough was incredible and honestly deserves its roses. It sounds like such a simple thing, but it was so well done and easily the standout for me. Visually, the Dutch Baby Pancake was beautiful and definitely impressive when it came out. I've always wanted to try one, so I was excited! I will say, I've read everywhere that Dutch babies are supposed to have more of a custardy center and even the photos I've seen look that way. Mine didn't really have that texture at all and tasted more like a crepe. Maybe it was a little overcooked? It wasn't bad, just not quite what I expected. Still delicious! Unfortunately, the tater tots were the biggest disappointment. They weren't crispy, didn't taste seasoned and sort of fell apart until they became one big potato mess. My cousins and I ended up not finishing them. One of my cousins ordered the summer peach and corn salad, which she liked! Just a heads-up that it's only available after 11 a.m. My other cousin got the skillet, she mentioned feeling a little disappointed since it tasted a little dry and didn't finish her plate. However they both ordered the Curious George drink and LOVED it! The Cinnagave Shaken Espresso was also fantastic. Coffee is definitely something they do very well here and I can see myself getting again. Overall, the aesthetics are adorable and I could see this being a great date spot. The coffee was fantastic, the sourdough was amazing, but the rest of the food was just okay for us. That was a little disappointing because everything sounds SO good on paper. Maybe we just caught them on an off day. The prices are probably the biggest thing holding me back from coming back regularly. Spending $30-$40+ per person for breakfast isn't really in my budget right now, but if this is within your price range, you may have a completely different experience. When I review a place, I try to take the overall experience, personal taste and effort into account. For now, I'm leaving Zuzu's Petals at 4 stars because the effort is definitely there, and what isn't my cup of tea may be someone else's liquid gold. I'd still give them another chance in the future... after I get paid!

Pad See ew had such a good wok fry essence. So flavorful, and perfect blend of savory and slight sweetness. Chinese broccoli nicely wok fried. The shrimp was jumbo and so succulent. Salmon Larb was perfectly cooked with fried cubes of juicy flavorful salmon. Tossed in fresh mint, cilantro, scallions, a ton of fresh lime juice, chili flakes, red onions and lettuce. The toasted rice powder was definitely apparent as every Larb dish should have. Slightly different take of Larb, bit more modernized and tweaked cause definitely a salad with the lettuce versus served with the cabbage and cucumber on the side. This place popped up, and it was happy hour. So we thought why not. We got lucky and found parking close (rare for that street). And walked over and immediately loved the vibe. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. It felt like we were in an old industrial building. We were surprised that it was pretty empty when we got up there. We sat at the bar, and love the decor upstairs too. There's a view of the street from up there as well that's beautiful. The bartender greeted us fairly quickly, and we each ordered a speciality cocktail on their happy hour. Both were delicious. I will say that the prices are a bit steep for me. Very glad we came during the happy hour. But really want to return to try the food and more drinks. Maybe on a special date night out!

I had been wanting to try this place for quite a few years now, but every time I looked at the menu…read moreonline the prices stopped me dead in my tracks! We happened to be in the neighborhood and within very close proximity so I said "phuck it", lets FINALLY give it a try lol. Patio dining is the most popular as they do not have AC inside; however, the tables were too close for my comfort (there were a couple open) so we chose to dine inside and it was not bad in there (temp wise) at all (they have a fan on). We started off with the burrata app (24.00, gulp!) & it came with three rolls (not sure if homemade), the burrata, and what appeared to be a tapenade. It was tasty but definitely not worth the price. For entrees, I ordered the pappardelle (26.00) which came with a pork ragu & bone marrow (BTW, pasta is made fresh in house). BFF ordered some type of pasta with spicy pork sausage (33.00). Both were very tasty with just a tad of spiciness. We did not order any dessert as our server did not offer any as well as not seeing it on the menu (one page menu). I am glad that I finally got to dine in at this place; however, it is for special occasions only (in my book) as it came to 115.00 for 2 (before tip) & that was with no alcoholic beverages (just soda). I did notice on their website that they have "oyster hour" (happy hour with oysters) 6 days a week so I'd definitely like to try that with more reasonable pricing!
