I preordered on the app because I was running a few errands in that neighborhood and wanted to get in and out. I also had a small discount of 15% on the app. My order was not ready until about 15 minutes after the requested time. BUT in their defense they were very busy and a staff member had called out. People were waiting for mobile orders and also ordering at the counter. The crew was pretty organized and got it all done. I've tried Simply Salad three times in the last week and I'm officially hooked. I love how easy it is to order online or through their app and my salad is always ready right on time for pickup. So far, I've tried the Thai It Up Salad with salmon (Thai peanut sauce) and the Chinatown Salad with grilled chicken twice (Far East and Asian soy mix). Both came with a generous amount of protein that actually keeps you full. I always get the dressing on the side so I can control how much I use without oversaturating the salad. My boss introduced me to Simply Salad months ago and I order from here at least once a week. I even got my parents hooked on them. I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment. I love the option of building your own salad, however, I'm a one trick pony and I usually just go for their Signature Salads they have and adjust accordingly to my preferences. I appreciate the fact that they suggest specific dressings for you depending on the salad you get. My absolute favorite salads are the Hipster, the Chinatown, and now as of today- the Thai It Up. I absolutely love the symphony of flavors with their Thai Peanut dressing and their Sweet Sriracha Vinaigrette- currently salivating as I'm writing this. Their salads may be a bit pricey but for the portions they give you and how consistent the quality is, I'd say it's worth the love they put into it. Their salads NEVER miss. Even though there have been rare hiccups like when they accidentally forget an extra dressing or forgetting to include another topping, Manager Simone Agee always makes it right by making sure to include credit for my next order. Their app is fairly easy to use and I love the convenience of being able to order ahead of time for both pickup and delivery. They always keep the inside clean and staff have great customer service and are friendly. They've been able to keep me a loyal, happy customer. After the gym , I originally wanted CAVA but dreaded their super long line and not best service so gave this spot a try. I do not regret coming here instead ! Overall it was good but nothing special to me. I would order maybe again but it would not be my first choice. The salad was decent but just average. It's worth giving it a try as everyone has different taste buds but it didn't really give me inspiration to put this place on my rotation. Simply Salad always hits! It's a great lunch option and even a satisfying dinner option after the gym. The portions are filling for a salad, but they don't leave you uncomfortably full. I always go for the salads, but they can make any of their salads into a wrap, and I believe they also have soups. I tend to opt for their signature salads and add/swap certain ingredients. My favorites have been the Chinatown, Thai It Up, and the El Paso salad. Their dressings are also great, and the staff are pretty good at making recommendations or offering a bit of two different ones if you're on the fence about it. Salads come with a piece of pita. I mean, what's not to like about it? I've only eaten inside there once or twice. There is very limited seating, with most of it being by the window. My previous review was 5 stars and I felt the need to give another after my last visit a couple days ago. My order was completed in record time, and when I picked it up, I was greeted with a friendliness that's so hard to get in a lot of establishments nowadays. When I walked out, I was called back by a young lady who informed me I was given the wrong order. After a minute of deliberation among the team, they realized I had the right order the entire time. They were very apologetic and offered complimentary items (which I refused) as a means to make amends. I don't believe the staff made a mistake, instead, cared so much about the service they provide that they felt the need to double confirm. It's nice to see people care. I wish I could give them a better rating but at this point 2 is feeling a little generous. Yesterday I ordered the Miso Hungry salad. It comes with pickled ginger. When I tell you there was enough ginger on here to choke a horse you. I love ginger. This was garbage. I have photos. What you are seeing is all the ginger I could pick out of my 1 salad. That is obviously inedible and gross. Additionally the salad is meant to come with avocado, I got one measly piece in the whole salad. So I basically paid for a bowl of ginger. When I called to notify the manager I was told they would gladly make the salad again for me. But do I really want to give them another chance? I can't say I am willing to entrust this establishment with my money or tastebuds any longer, which is awful because decent salads are hard to come by. Besides yesterday's bad experience I've ordered 2-4 times a month now for several months so this review isn't based on one bad experience, but cumulative. The main issue is the lack of consistency. Some days your salad is minced, other times barely chopped and you have huge chunks of lettuce. Sometimes you get lots of avocado, sometimes almost none. Sometimes your salad has more edamame than the last one, like so much that it's almost all you taste. If you order online and they are out of an item then don't cancel and refund you, no they send a substitute without asking you if that's acceptable! I ordered roasted red pepper Gouda soup but got broccoli cheese, these are not just things you can swap. I'd rather they cancel and refund the item you wanted than try to decide for me what I would find acceptable replacement. Photos of the insane amount of ginger as proof. Btw, that is less than half the ginger I pulled out of that disgusting meal. I chucked it before I thought to photograph it but you can see some of the massive unchopped mass of ginger in the photo of the whole salad. It was truly one of the worst food experiences I've had. Unfortunately I do not recommend this place as it is currently ran. I'm currently eating my salad as I type this, and I just have to start by saying the Caesar dressing tastes amazing! I ordered a Cardini's Caesar salad with grilled chicken and hard-boiled eggs, along with an unsweetened iced tea, through DoorDash. Before placing my order, I noticed a difference between UberEats and DoorDash: on UberEats, the dressing is included with the cost of the salad, and any additional dressing costs extra. However, on DoorDash, the dressing isn't included at all; I had to pay 50 cents for it. When the salad arrived, it didn't look particularly appealing. There was only one visible piece of grilled chicken, and the hard-boiled eggs were nowhere in sight. As I dug a little deeper, I found more chicken, but the eggs remained elusive. The croutons were also a bit too big for my liking, though that might just be me being picky. That said, the Caesar dressing is so delicious that it almost makes up for everything else. I'll definitely give Simply Salad another shot next time; maybe I'll have better luck. read more

I have never seen an eatery like this one! Happened to be up in Long Beach and was looking for a smoothie shop. Yelped at good one and woah- this place was next door! I got a smoothie since my heart was set on it and then came right over to check this place out! I thought it was so cool how they had the huge wall of lettuce!
