It was a hot day so we put our order in and went to sit outside as they said they would text us when it was ready. We just tried the pepperoni pizza, but it had great crust, great proportions. I loved it. Very very solid slice. We got it to go, but there is definitely space inside to eat in, but it was a little hot to hear inside tbh. A little more crisp on the bottom would've made a big difference. I also tried their Sicilian grandma-style focaccia pizza, and honestly, that was a huge letdown. It had this dusty, raw flour taste right away, was dry and spongy, and way overpowered with Parmesan. It just didn't come together at all--pretty disappointing, especially for the price. I would like to say first off that I absolutely loved their food it was amazing! However, the only downfall was the customer service, specifically from the employees working the front. I went in and wasn't greeted. When I placed my order, I received an eye roll, and after receiving my pizza, I said, "Thank you," but got no response from the woman in the turquoise shirt behind the kiosk. Mind you, I still left a tip after all of that because I also work in customer service and understand that everyone has their days. However, the young woman working the front really needs to work on her customer service skills or be replaced by someone who can provide a more welcoming experience. Having that kind of attitude toward customers, especially when the restaurant wasn't busy, is unacceptable. Great pizza! bad parking, in fact there is no parking. You have to drive around until you find a parking or pay $5/hr at a parking lot down the street. I am going to sound like a hater, but not to Little Coyote specifically! I am not understanding the hype around pizza, especially expensive pizza, in Long Beach. I got two pizzas from Little Coyote to try: one pizza with bacon, onions, pineapple, and pickled jalapenos and one with sausage and mushrooms. Good! I don't think it's entirely worth the four times price as, say, Domino's... Maybe I just don't love pizza like that. I think Little Coyote is good, but not worth the price point. There has also been talk about a change in leadership which has resulted in the quality of the ingredients noticeable decreasing. If someone I knew wanted to get pizza at a non-fast casual chain, I would be happy to try Little Coyote again, but it's not something that I am itching to go back to or something that has turned me away from ordering a cheaper delivery pizza. read more

Little Coyote is unapologetically Long Beach and I'm here for that. I shared the antipasto salad ($7) and the small portion was more than enough. It comes with provolone, soppressata, garbanzo, artichoke, red onion, pepperoncinis with iceberg salad. There was definitely more toppings than salad, but that's how I like my salad sometimes. I absolutely loved their rendition of an antipasto salad - it was tart and creamy with plenty of good textures. Since we already had salad, we naturally went with the meat lovers pie ($26) This did not disappoint. It comes topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, mozzarella and red sauce. I love a good meat lovers pizza, but I don't like when it's too, too meaty. 3 is the perfect amount of meat love. I also like that the crust at Little Coyote is crispy but has a little chew. You consistently get a v good pizza pie regardless of your topping choice. This is the best neighborhood spot to have a casual pizza dinner. read more
