We had an amazing experience here. We came for a celebration and we were treated so well. Their white wine was immaculate and wasn't too bitter. The Parker House Rolls were the perfect mix of fluffy and crispy. Don't even get me started on the oysters. They were a good size and were served with some tasty sauces. The pasta was delicious but we were impressed with the garnishes and seasonings they used. We will definitely be back.

Parking is street parking only, so definitely give yourself extra time to find a spot. I'd also highly recommend making a reservation since the space is small & busy. The restaurant has a cute, no-fuss decor style that still feels cozy and elevated. We sat inside, which seemed like a much nicer vibe than the outdoor seating. Service was fast and friendly throughout the meal. I ordered the chittara pomodoro, which was so tasty and clearly tasted homemade in the best way. For dessert, we had the panna cotta, which was the perfect light and creamy ending to the meal. Overall, such a charming little spot for a cozy dinner.

Had such a great experience at Ellie's! Arrived Friday night @ around 7:30pm thinking the wait would be long but luckily we only waited about 20 minutes :) Ordered the brussel sprouts 5/5 so good Tagliatelle 4/5 so creamy and flavorful Angel hair 5/5 nice and light but so yummy! This one was my fav bc you can rlly taste the pasta they made. Street parking only, I would suggest coming really early before your dinner plans to find a spot. The parking is always hard in Long Beach unless you get lucky.

Food: Thank you to our waitress for recommending the lunch prix fixe! With the option of a salad or veggie an entree, my partner and I settled for the Roasted Cauliflower, Shrimp & Melon salad, Tagliatelle and Gnocchi, which were all very wonderful, with a nice flavor balance, to say the least. The meal also came with dessert, per chef's choice--this time it was a panna cotta that was to die for! Instantly became a fave. Service: Great! Always attended to, and food came in at a reasonable pace. Ambiance: Casual. Monochromatic interior, putting the focal point on the food. Parking: Street parking is available, but can take a minute to find a spot during peak hours.

WOW this place really exceeded my expectations. It's hard to find an italian spot that really impresses, but this place did. The staff was super friendly, environment was intimate and calm, and the food was so wonderful. I had a hard time picking stuff off of the menu, because everything looked so good. The tagliatelle was filled with spices, flavor, and freshness. The bone marrow, I was trying not to scrape the board clean! I recommend this place, perfect for a solo meal, date night, or just enjoying a great meal with great company. I can't wait to stop by this place again.

Really cute spot! The food was so delicious, the fried meatball starters were my absolute favorite. The pasta was also so tasty, you can definitely taste that it's homemade, it's the closets thing to real Italian pasta I've had in a long time. The service was also nice and they checked on us throughout our dinner, I will say it did kinda feel like they were rushing us out of there but overall it was nice experience.

I came here for a bottomless mimosa brunch one time and that was great however, I just came for happy hour the other day and it was subpar. I sat out on the patio and there weren't that many people there. The service was not good at all. I believe it was the hostess who was the server. I got a burger and it was so salty. I couldn't even finish it. Not impressed.

Let me say this was a surprise , a good one. A small restaurant tucked along the neighborhood blocks from the beach. I've seen it a few times but never had the chance to try it out. It was on the list but something alway came up and we never made it. Well, we happened to walk by and was like what the heck. We're here let's try it out. It's a small restaurant with a nice cool clean beach vibe inside and a simple patio just outside with tables and heatlamps. We arrived just after happy hour which they're known as oyster hours. And let me say, the name explain itself. There were only three tables utilized when we arrived at the patio but by the time we ordered, it was completely full. People arriving minutes after each other and I'm sure it was for oyster hours. Self explanatory, oyster happy hours. For 1.50 a piece, that can't be beat. Pretty much every table had a dozen or so. Besides that, they also had a good happy hour menu on both drinks and meals. Also the regular dinner menu was quite impressive. A mixture of everything. But we were here for happy hours. House wines were 8.00 a glass and a dozen oysters were shared. They were quite tasty and served with horseradish and cocktails sauce. Simple eats but very delicious. We could have had more but we already had plans for dinner. Looking around, everyone had oysters on their table. The main attractions as it's known. Besides that, all the other dishes that were coming out all looked amazing. Fish and chips and their salads looked quite delicious. Service was excellent. The gentlemen that was taking care of everyone was excellent. Extremely friendly and professional as well as busy taking care of everybody. Just from this first visit, I must say it was great. Now I know what oyster hours is all about and finally nice to try it out. Next time, a meal. Highly recommend.

I came here for Oyster Hour (Tue-Thur 4-6, Sat-Sun 3-5) which had an amazing deal for $1.50 oysters and there were other happy hour dishes as well. It was a hot sunny day so we were hoping to sit inside with the AC, but unfortunately there were no AC or fans in the restaurant and the outdoor seats didn't have shade. The food was decent, but the overall experience was marred by how uncomfortably stuffy it was in the restaurant. Here's what we got: Brussel Sprouts ($11 during Oyster Hour) Absolutely delicious! The brussel sprouts had a beautiful char and a mix of sweet and savory flavors from the brown butter saba and sausage. Oysters ($1.50 each during Oyster Hour) Fresh, plump, and refreshing. Came with horseradish, mignonette, and cocktail sauce. Tagliatelle ($26) Ragu had a rich depth of wine flavor. The pasta had a good texture and tasted homemade. The portion size was small though. Chitarra ($29) The pasta was cooked well and had nice texture, but the chili made the sauce too spicy and overpowered the basil pesto. The portion size was small as well. All the Things Fries ($12 during Oyster Hour) Decent loaded fries, but nothing special. Overall, I would still go back for Oyster Hour to get oysters and try other happy hour dishes, but on a less hot day and sit outdoors.

One was over salted, the one with truffle oil was the best, the other lacked taste.

5/5 for Oyster hour which was amazing! $1.5 versus the normal $5.5 is definitely worth it. 5/5 for Service from the entire staff. 5/5 for ambiance. We sat outside and it was great. Once it started getting dark, they turned the heaters on and had enough light for seeing your food and being with good company. 5/5 for the side of whipped butter and side of bread. -5/5 for the loaded fries. Don't get these unless you have money to burn. They were $12 during the happy hour and they had what looked and tasted like melted cheddar sliced cheese on top of their fries sprinkled with their sauce and some sesame seeds. This was the most disappointing thing we ordered. 3-4/5 for the remainder of the food. Pasta isn't as fresh as it should be for the price and most of the sauces were completely over salted. The side of crab dip although real crab meat, was a very small portion for happy hour. Not sure if it's differently portioned for normal hours. Brussels sprouts were delicious with their sausage. They should use this sausage in their pasta... if it happens to be the same then they need to cook it separate as the sausage in the pasta is a soggy mushy texture instead. All in all, We had a great time. Would definitely come here again for oyster hour!

    Burrata with Parker House Rolls

I've been to Ellie's many times and the food is always outstanding. Our family favorites are the bone marrow board and the Burrata with Parker rolls. My daughter especially loves all the fresh pasta and this is her request every year for her birthday. I love their little outside patio we've sat there in all kinds of weather and it's always been fine. As someone in our family is hard of hearing, sitting outside is much better as inside is very loud. Service is always a question mark for me here. There is nearly always some misstep. This time, despite our reservation, they did not have seating for us. They accommodated us by placing us on the side which was okay, but required some gymnastics to get in and out of seating. It also was impossible for servers to get around table. So that being said, we regularly go back. Food is worth it.

SALMON TARTARE - PUTTANESCA, GREEN GODDESS, PISTACHIO
    Juan G.

Did the 6-course prix fixe at Ellie's and it was honestly such a solid experience. Every course felt intentional and well-paced -- nothing felt like filler, which is rare with prix fixe menus. The potato croquettes were crispy and creamy with a bright herb sauce, and the salmon tartare was fresh, clean, and really well balanced with pistachio and herbs. The pasta course was rich and comforting without being too heavy. For mains, both options delivered -- the New York strip was cooked perfectly and paired nicely with the roasted vegetables, while the sea bass over hummus and chickpeas was lighter but still packed with flavor. Dessert was the perfect way to wrap things up. Huge shoutout to EJ -- his customer service was amazing. He explained how they do this prix fixe every Monday and also mentioned they offer brunch, which I didn't even know about. We also did the wine pairing he recommended, and it was a 10/10 -- every glass complemented the food perfectly. The music was great, the atmosphere was on point, and the only downfall is parking -- so come early or just Uber and save yourself the stress LOL. Other than that, everything was a win. Would absolutely do the prix fixe again.

One thing I noticed immediately was how deceptive the space is from the outside. You walk in thinking you're stepping into a small Italian bistro, and then it just keeps unfolding room after room until you realize you're actually in a large, incredibly lively space. Each room we passed through seemed to gain even more energy. There seemed to be birthday dinners, family gatherings, and just large groups of friends celebrating everywhere, and the whole restaurant had a genuinely festive feel without feeling overly loud or chaotic. Service was fantastic. Our waitress felt less like restaurant service and more like a friend helping the whole table have a good night. Everything flowed really naturally. Timing was great. Drinks stayed full. Plates never piled up, and even little moments that could have felt imperfect somehow just added to the warmth of the experience. We ordered family style for the table and honestly every single thing disappeared. The Burrina pizza and Romana pizza were both excellent. The Caesar salad was fresh and balanced. The lasagna was a hit, and we also ordered a white pasta with fennel sausage that nobody could stop eating. We even had family visiting from Ecuador with us, and everyone cleaned their plates and had a great time. We skipped dessert because we had cake waiting at home, but judging by the number of tiramisus passing by our table, we may have made a tactical error there. The only real challenge is parking. Broadway parking is Broadway parking, and locals already know the situation near the beach can get rough quickly. If you live nearby, I'd honestly recommend Ubering or walking if possible. This immediately went onto my shortlist for large group dinners in Long Beach.

Most places just sell the steak by itself and you have to pay for sides -they brought out a complimentary bread basket -we also ordered a side of broccoli -we did not order dessert, but they did bring out a complimentary birthday dessert The service was great The building is beautiful The atmosphere was great The food was amazing Overall, I would come back, but I would reserve it for special occasions. I'd love to come back and try their pasta

Next brunch visit we definitely plan to try the Dutch Baby Pancake as a shareable! Service is always great and very attentive. The roof top deck has great ambience and a wonderful place for brunch. There's a nice bar with comfy seats and a fun place for a drink. Happy Hour is returning after Father's Day. We loved going there on Sunday afternoons for pizzas and wine. Excellent selection of wines! They are also offering Bubbles and Shells (Sparking Wine and Oysters) on Friday and Saturday nights! Our food today, Michael's Burger with handout fries, N'Daju Toast, and The Benedict. Cocktails today, Ciacco D'oro and a Mimosa. Cappuccino and coffees were great. Cocktails at Michael's are excellent. Definitely one of the best places in Long Beach for a cocktail! Creative and consistent. The burger is the best one in town if you are craving that juicy type of burger, which I was. Done perfectly. I order it rare, they know how to serve it rare! Now served with handout fries instead of chips, still amazing! We finished our meal with a wonderful Gelato, on the house! Mint chip and just amazing! Looking forward to more Brunches and of course happy Hour!

Right from entering the hotel lobby we were met with a beautiful restaurant that made me feel confident I had chosen the right place. The lighting, the table settings, the decor, all culminated in a beautiful restaurant for a wonderful evening. We had the special spinach ravioli which was divine, and the carbonara (was great but slightly salty). The cocktails were absolutely delicious, i highly recommend the old fashioned and the nettuno spritz! The calamari was fantastic, and the bone marrow was okay and awkward to eat. Our waitress was amazing and provided top-notch service that made my friend feel extra special, especially with a complimentary dessert for her birthday! We didn't expect that and felt extra cared for. Will definitely be back for more special nights or just on occasions where I'm craving a high quality meal and experience.

That was very much appreciated. This is a fun casual spot in 2nd and PCH shopping center, so you get 90 minutes of parking free here. You order at the counter, and they bring you the food pretty quickly after. You can eat inside or outside, both are lovely options. You basically pick your pasta type and sauce, so it's kind of a create-your-own-dish. They also have weekly specials and a few other specialty dishes on the menu. I will say, the lasagna looks to be the dish to get. The person next to me ordered it and the dish was massive. Looked delicious! I got the pappardelle bolognese. Pappardelle is my favorite type of noodle, and they make a great pappardelle here! Perfectly toothy. The noodles themselves were 9/10. The bolognese didn't have the deepest flavor I've ever tried, but it was solid. I loved the beautiful plate that my pasta was served in. I would definitely come back here. It's great to "make your own dish". It's a fun spot right along the water as well.

I've eaten here a few times and the food is always exceptional. I have to call out that we had the focaccia, and I am a massive bread snob, and it was PHENOMENAL. Service is exceptional as always, the gals working were truly so sweet. We'll be back soon, this is truly such a gem.

From the gentleman outside who greeted us and took the time to explain what to expect, to the owner who personally welcomed us and convinced me to try his favorite wine (and I don't even like wine--but it was delicious), the experience was top-tier. Every single person--from the host/hostess to the waitress to the staff delivering our food--was polite, attentive, and welcoming. 10/10 across the board. The interior is cute, quaint, and slightly intimate--perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Another 10/10. Now, the food--fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Every bite was satisfying. I especially appreciated the pacing: salad first, then warm bread, followed by the main dish. The timing was seamless--no delays, no wondering when the next course would arrive. I'll also add: I'm not a big pasta person. I only crave it occasionally, and when I do, it has to be really good. I'm so glad I chose Due Fiori to satisfy that craving because the pasta was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back.

I believe they have you tip at the counter when ordering food before any service is given or before you're even sat is given which isn't my preference. The other issues was that the table was so small, and the food wasn't coursed out right, the table quickly became over crowded and the servers sort of just drop it whenever without prepping more space beforehand, I felt rushed to box food I wasn't finished with to make room for another incoming dish. The backyard seating is quaint, overall homey vibe. Pizza was just OK, the Cacio e Pepe was good as well as the bread service. Would come again, but my expectations will be just a little lowered for next time.
