Michael's on Naples was an unforgettable dining experience on the rooftop, which also has an upstairs bar. As soon as you enter this restaurant, the elegant ambiance and beautiful decor is extraordinary. We truly enjoyed all the courses by Executive Chef Eric Samaniego and savored every bite!! Great quality ingredients and spectacular plating!! Each dish came out looking so beautiful!! The food surpassed all expectations! The combination of flavors was unique and delicious! Top Notch customer service!!

The pizza is delicious. They have a wide selection of wines to choose from. There's a bar on the second floor that's covered in the winter and can be a rooftop open concept bar in the hotter months. They serve table bread with dinner that was great! Michael's is a place with a lot of regulars. They aren't doing anything out of the ordinary but their food service, alcohol selection, and dining options are great and reliable.

Thursday nights at Michael's on Naples provides a unique experience. I am sure you are wondering what I mean by that. The restaurant itself is top notch-- one of the most sophistacated dining establishments in Long Beach. Thursday nights add an extra community element, think Cheers 'where everybody knows your name'. While noshing on burrata and homemade pizza, Mic Dangerously serenades the room with acoustic throwback tunes, original tunes and collabs with fellow musicians. You immediately feel welcome and cozy when you arrive and you leave with a big smile, ready to relax.

Outstanding food, excellent service. Loved the outdoor seating on the second floor. We started with the squash blossoms, which were fantastic. For entrees, we got the paccheri (braised beef short rib sugo rigatonic pasta) and tagliata (steak, potato puree, peppers)- both were delicious and we like they took the care to split the entrees into 2 separate plates so we could share more easily. To drink, we had the Sbaglia-"no" mocktail, which we enjoyed.

We dined for the Dine out Long Beach as the menu looks good and creative. We have not been to Michael's for a long time and the price is very attractive for a 4 course set menu. We did enjoyed the selection and the food is great , friendly service and nice ambiance. We had a great evening. The service is a bit slow , we waited a little longer than we expected, however our server gave us a complimentary dessert wine to complement the dessert.

Delightful restaurant. I can't believe this was my first visit. Street parking up front. There's a first floor area which includes a small bar. Upstairs is another indoor seating area with open windows/ skylight for fresh air and sun with an additional bar along with an outside rooftop eating area. We had reservations and sat outside. Got seated promptly. They have heating lamps if you get chilly. Loved the drinks and meal. I will be back to try more. I would skip the cheese plate appetizer or try something else. Everything else was delicious. Great for a date night or celebration.

First time here to the well known Michaels on Naples. Burrata e onions. The burrata itself was delicious. Small portion for the price and the chips could have been replaced with a few slices of grilled bread. Zucca e ricotta Loved the squash. Baked to softness perfection. The pine nuts, pistachios all complimented the ricotta cream perfectly with the greens. Margarita pizza Perfect italian style ingredients. The dough and crust was so soft and flavorful.

I grabbed a drink here with a friend and we had a lovely time! The upstairs is really where it's at- such a great vibe up there and beautiful seating. We sat at the bar and my friend got a frosé- there were lots of great frozen drink options. I got a glass of white wine and a one ounce pour of a lovely red- I really liked how they offered one once pours of their expensive wines for people who just wanted to try them out! We didn't end up eating here, but really liked our drinks and the overall vibe of the place. The service was quick and friendly and we had a great time.

I took my wife here for her birthday. We'd been here once before years ago and liked it. I wanted to go somewhere really good and different for us. This is it. The space remains open and is comfortable. They have dining downstairs and a patio environment upstairs. They have a really nice wine list. But that was unnecessary tonight as we had tasting menus with wine pairings. I had the chefs tasting menu; she had the pasta tasting menu, The only dish in common was the amuse bouche, a cheese-stuffed deep fried edible flower. Surprisingly delicious. Other than the wine paired with the first course, our wines were different. I then had , tuna crudo, which was fresh, but under seasoned. This was followed by a pasta course with little spicy sausage filled tortellinis. A lovely piece of striped bass followed, which was delicious. The final course was what scared my wife off of this menu-prosciutto wrapped rabbit with a paprika sauce. Very well conceived. The desert was fruit compote with a creamy tart, with a desert wine. My wife enjoyed her pasta tastes, which I tried too. But I was focused on my food. The service was very attentive. The descriptions were excellent. This was a very good meal.

Went here for dinner after movie during the holiday weekend. It was packed and we settle at the bar, which is perfect. The foods are great, perfectly prepared, except for the Lasagna, I love lasagna but it tastes not flavorful. It's good but to my liking. Great service and the bartenders are very nice and know what they're doing with the drinks. Had a wonderful time and will come back for more.

My dinner date and I loved this place! We ordered the burrata sampler and peaches (that included more burrata), which were so totally worth putting my two lactaids to the test. Fresh, went so well with the flavor packed pestos and peaches, and I definitely made sure the leftovers came home with me. Love branzino, which I'm used to just being served roasted or steamed a la carte, and the tomatoes were just the perfect touch of acidity and sweetness with this well-prepared fish. Next was an order of the lobster pasta, which had this great seafood-buttery sauce that clung to the pasta well and big, tender pieces of lobster. We brought several bottles of wine and the server was so, so nice, easy to talk to, and did a great job serving our wines in carafes and champagne stands. Great conversationalist, very warm, and I think was a great addition to our experience that evening.

This is a cute place to dine. I've only sat upstairs and it's a great place to bring a date. This time we tried: Margherita pizza with pepperoni and salami - wow amazing!! Pizza is on point! Spaghettineri con aragosta- this dish was ok. I thought it was like warm. I like food hot, as in fresh out of oven temperature hot. Branzino - I thought the branzino was a tad fishy. I know it's a fish dish but usually it's very flavorful. Homemade ice cream- mint chip, hazelnut and pistachios. The consistency was amazing!!! I would say come here for pizza and the homemade ice cream!! The rest is fun to try too. Full bar with descent wine options as well. Staff was nice and accommodating which was appreciated:) Valet parking only and if valet is not available good luck finding parking.

The food is fresh and well prepared. Five star dining with high-quality ingredients and preparation. The service is impeccable. We used to go to this restaurant when they had a little pizza business next-door. We have not been here for many years and decided to celebrate a holiday here. Surprisingly, our waiter recognized us from years ago when we used to eat at the pizza restaurant next-door. It was such a delight to have a waiter recognize its customers! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with enough space in between tables. The restaurant is spotless and well maintained. If you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a celebration for all, this place is definitely a gem!

    Bread was fresh and crispy!!

In that ~50 minutes while we waited, I saw an older white couple who came in after us, get drinks and their food served long before us. I also saw another white couple (younger) who came in after us, get served drinks and their food before us. It was far from being a busy night too. There was definitely a level of discrimination against us. If you stop by nowadays you can tell their business is suffering because of how they treat people. It's almost always empty. Be advised! I would NOT reccommend. There are plenty of better Italian restaurants in Long Beach.

We happened to be in the neighborhood and within very close proximity so I said "phuck it", lets FINALLY give it a try lol. Patio dining is the most popular as they do not have AC inside; however, the tables were too close for my comfort (there were a couple open) so we chose to dine inside and it was not bad in there (temp wise) at all (they have a fan on). We started off with the burrata app (24.00, gulp!) & it came with three rolls (not sure if homemade), the burrata, and what appeared to be a tapenade. It was tasty but definitely not worth the price. For entrees, I ordered the pappardelle (26.00) which came with a pork ragu & bone marrow (BTW, pasta is made fresh in house). BFF ordered some type of pasta with spicy pork sausage (33.00). Both were very tasty with just a tad of spiciness. We did not order any dessert as our server did not offer any as well as not seeing it on the menu (one page menu). I am glad that I finally got to dine in at this place; however, it is for special occasions only (in my book) as it came to 115.00 for 2 (before tip) & that was with no alcoholic beverages (just soda). I did notice on their website that they have "oyster hour" (happy hour with oysters) 6 days a week so I'd definitely like to try that with more reasonable pricing!

Let's start with the win: the burger was "the best he's had in a long time"--which says a lot. Kudos on the burger! The banana smoothie also got a thumbs-up. Everything else? Meh. The pancake was okay. The scrambled eggs were... weird. Tiny little egg bits that had me wondering, are these real eggs? I asked for crispy bacon; it wasn't, so I couldn't eat it. The breakfast potatoes tasted reheated--no crisp, not much flavor, no joy. And the London Fog? Don't expect Starbucks loveliness. The plain black coffee was better. I also had the grapefruit juice, it was bitter, but tasted fresh squeezed, which I appreciate. Service was good. My server saw that I didn't eat my food and tried to make it better. The venue is nice, but if you're coming for great food--burger aside--we didn't find it here. The velvet chairs are comfortable and beautiful, but the stains and spills were evident. I was worried when I sat down about what was on the chairs getting on my dress. Overall, it's a place we'd only return to if we were craving that burger, everything else was a fail. I left hungry. Last morning here at the Fairmont. Tried breakfast at Nettuno again... disappointed and leaving hungry again. This time we had oatmeal (needed to add water, so dry we stuck the spoon in it and it stood straight up and didn't fall over), fruit (good), boiled eggs (took 20 minutes), and the avocado toast with a fried egg. It was not good. The menu says it comes with kale, but I received mixed greens with it, not kale and the flavor was bad. It's hard to make bad avocado toast, but they did. Disappointing. Plus, service was very slow today. Our order came out incomplete and out of order. The atmosphere is beautiful, but this restaurant has a lot to work on to be worthy of its prices and the Fairmont brand. Second fail.

We love meat lasagna, pasta w bolonese sauce, and some flat breads like appetizer pizza. We ordered 3, lasagna, tagliatelle bolonese, flat bread sandwich called Cassone w sausage, bell pepper, onions. I had some italian red wine per glass ($14). First, I loved so much my lasagna and kept eating until finish my entire portion. I give 10 stars. My wife's pasta, she said pasta is too thick, might be on purpose? She likes soft, thin texture handmade tagliatelle. For the first time, we ordered flat bread sandwich. The sandwich flavor was good, but not the dough for flat bread. Well, we tried here for the 1st time after shopping. Today was almost 81 this afternoon. Hot and humid.....unluckily AC was broken so he opened the entrance door. If AC was working during lunch time. We felt much comfortable to enjoy our foods. One thing, I loved the red wine but the portion was not enough for $14. Even my wife said, not much for this price. I got 2 glasses of italian red wine, not enough. The view was great ocean side from the patio. This is a strong point eating here for the view. My wife saw the live pasta cooking show, a chef made the pasta, stretching the pasta dough in the kitchen....great show! Fun! I have strong feelings about this in general, and it kind of leaves a weird expectation to order and tip in an uncomfortable manner, when it's not a table service experience. In addition to that, we were sat outside and they really need to add something to implement bug and fly control. The patio itself was beautiful and I did enjoy the ambience, besides having flies constantly in your food. The pricing here... insane. If the food was melt in your mouth good, I could easily justify, but for 1 salad, 1 order of bread and an 1 entree and tip, the total should not have been $90. The small Mexican coke was $6... that's insane. I can appreciate that they are locally sourcing food and I would hope they are paying their employees well, and everyone so taken care of. But overall, the value of money and quality of food did not do it for me. I did notice the portions on the salad were inconsistent based off of the other tables around us. I would hope for a $22 salad, I would have liked to have a little bit more. I think there is an illusion that the salad is big based on the fact that the lettuce is not cut and they put an absorbent amount of cheese on top. (Don't get me wrong, I love cheese, but they did not give a chance for the dressing to stand on its own) The bread and butter were the only thing I will say was good. Solid 7/10. I think if they added garlic and pepper into dipping oil, it was elevate this a bit. The fact that this is served warm definitely adds to the taste. The "fresh" made gnocchi is house.. was not good. This dish was a ricotta gnocchi. For nearly $30, this was the smallest plate of pasta I have ever gotten. I continued to look around and everyone got extremely small portions of pasta. That aside.. this gnocchi was not good and too undercooked. The sauce tasted honestly like a chef boyardee sauce, with a little bit of a fish after taste, and no ricotta. It did taste like slight parm, which, even if a little bit more Parmesan was added, maybe this would've tasted a bit better. But apparently all the Parmesan was reserved only for the salads. (This dish was supposed to have a duck base, but this was not cooked properly) not only was I simply turned off by this dish, there was nobody by to help or even get it to go box. But quite honestly, I just left the food which is so sad. Left over pasta is always so good but I really could not continue eating this as I truly did not enjoy the taste. I left hungry and sadly disappointed.
