Pepperoni, cheese and olive Calzone --not a fan of the grease.
    Trish B.

Rating: 4.0 My colleague came here to grab lunch and I decided to get the Calzone it had cheese, pepperoni and olives inside. I liked the calzone but I was not a fan of all the grease. I think I would try this place again but I would have to ask them to hold the grease!

First time trying this pizza spot. I love to study next door at The Library. We got the special: XL one topping and salad for $24.95. With tax and service charge the total was $29.22. So the salad bar had a lot of options. The lettuce was fresh so that was great. BIGGEST draw back, there were nats under the sneeze guard. Kinda grossed me out. But there has been a heat wave here so I want to give them a pass because bugs have been everywhere. The pizza was ok. 6-7/10. It was med range taste, definitely not the best in LB. The cheese was fresh but the crust was lacking. It reminded me of Little Cesar's crust actually. Overall, I would say it was worth a try to see what this place is like but I won't be adding it to my pizza rotation.

    Pizza good!

The pizza was good (pepperoni and basil) my boyfriend says it's a five and likes it better than our go-to spots (so there's that) Beer/sprite find. (He said the cold glass for his beer was a good touch) (dang lemme Do my review dude!!!!) Ok the service was so so good. Those girls were on it. The ambiance was very casual.'like Come As you are. Talk to the people next to you, don't expect any thrills, watch a game...type vibe Now... my HUGE COMPLAINT. Idk if you're the manager or the owner but I almost took a pic of you old man with white hair!!!! This part of for you: Why you standing in the way of everyone just awkwardly watching and NOT DOING ANYTHING?!?!??? your service staff were damn near sweating and hustling and the staff in the back were busy working. Ok, fine... you think you're too good to help, but they're tripping over you! MOVE!!!!! It's also awk we were sitting at the bar and you're just there. Watching your staff. Not smiling. I saw tow customers ask you for something and you point to someone else to do it....dude!!!!!!! What???? Lastly, I asked a staff meme er who you were and they said "thank you so much for noticing, it's definitely hard" . We left to catch a less weird vibe. Pizza bomb tho so try it out :)

Thank you Tobi for taking take of us. You were great.. you were attentive to the us, the bar and the take-out. You are the best!!!

Heaven in a box. I was sad to see that they didn't deliver personally to my hotel. However, I was glad to see that they did offer GrubHub. So I GrubHubbed a make my own pizza in the size small. Looking back, yes, I could've done a mini size. But, as they say, go, big, or go home. I've been obsessed with artichokes lately, so when I saw that they had artichoke hearts as an option for add-ons, I nearly cried. I did the sausage, ham, pepperoni, artichokes, tomatoes, minced garlic and Canadian bacon. The first bite was pure heaven. It was juicy tangy, zesty, flavorful, a little smoky from the artichokes and just pure bliss. I've had lots of good pizza in my days and this is among some of the good pizza places that I've had. I definitely recommend them!!!

That was very much appreciated. This is a fun casual spot in 2nd and PCH shopping center, so you get 90 minutes of parking free here. You order at the counter, and they bring you the food pretty quickly after. You can eat inside or outside, both are lovely options. You basically pick your pasta type and sauce, so it's kind of a create-your-own-dish. They also have weekly specials and a few other specialty dishes on the menu. I will say, the lasagna looks to be the dish to get. The person next to me ordered it and the dish was massive. Looked delicious! I got the pappardelle bolognese. Pappardelle is my favorite type of noodle, and they make a great pappardelle here! Perfectly toothy. The noodles themselves were 9/10. The bolognese didn't have the deepest flavor I've ever tried, but it was solid. I loved the beautiful plate that my pasta was served in. I would definitely come back here. I WISH I LEFT A BIGGER TIP! .. and I hate tipping!…read more We just came back from Italy and had an amazing time there with the food we tried. Fatto a Mano sells pasta and pizza that takes us right back to Italy. If we ever miss that country, then this is the only place we have to go to satisfy any nostalgia. Marco is such an amazing host. He makes everything from scratch and is up front with how long it'll take for him to make your food. We got there right when it opened and the place filled up quickly. But he still made time to ask for our names and check in on us frequently. You can tell the customers love him because so many people came in and talked to him like they had known him for years. We got the carbonara and Estiva. The carbonara was perfect. Just like the way they make it in Italy. Al dente with the sauce perfectly integrated with the noodles. Generous with the ingredients and a flavor explosion with every bite. The Estiva is a pizza with basil pesto, yellow tomato confit, and "fior di latte' mozzarella. All I'll say is that it was delicious and any one who likes pesto needs to try this. Now, why do I wish I left a bigger tip? The delicious food would be enough but it was Marco! He addressed us by name every time he passed by. The most memorable aspect was when we were getting up to leave. He loudly said if we could please wait 5 minutes so that he could give us gelato for free! He was making it fresh as well so his machine needed some time. It was delicious! We threw our trash away and started to walk out, but then he told us to wait so that he could give us gelato again! I told him he already gave some to us and then he said we needed more... and that he insisted because "it is like 1000 degrees outside!" I'm coming back and I'm brining my family and all of my friends!

Pastaphony bills itself as "Where pasta gets a personality."…read more Judging from the fiery heat that blasted outtve my plentiful order of Pasta Arrabbiata, I'd venture that my particular entree's personality was, indeed, zesty and irascible...to the point of inedible. On this particular weeknight, your favorite Yelp correspondent was pivoting in and out of Glendora's Food Hall like a metronome, ferrying a quartet of meals from the hall for my wee Uber gig. Pastaphony caught my attention within moments of nesting my customer's order into my insulated carrier- my SUV's cabin was redolent of cheese, tomatoes and overall hone-cooked goodness! I went with Pasta Arrabbiata, then customized my order by adding a breaded chicken breast, black olives, onions, roasted peppers and shaved parmesan. On the plus side, Pastaphony gives ample portions- My entree weighed almost as much as a two-item combo platter from your friendly neighborhood Chinese takeout place! And, while the dish took me to Flavortown...unfortunately it was the Mojave Desert, with its scorching flavor profile and intense, spicy taste. The star of the dish was the breaded chicken cutlet and the shaved parm, but since the penne pasta overwhelmed the chicken/parm by an eight to one ratio...this was a difficult dish to finish. Context- As the acknowledged "lightweight" in a family of folks who typically relish spicy food, I asked my wife to sample my dish. She was born in Michoacacan and regularly quaffs homegrown Serrano and Habanero peppers like they're ice. Even she was surprised by how utterly spicy my pasta dish was! My entree cost $26.39 after taxes, a wee steep for a single protein pasta dish. By comparison, you can spend $1 more at any Johnny Carinos or Olive Garden and get a three-item combo with bread and/or salad accompaniments. So I wasn't satisfied by the "value for money" question, either. This experienced reviewer probably ordered the WDD (Wrong Damn Dish) but at their prices (a side of garlic bread or breadsticks is $10.99!) one os hesitant to retake the plunge.

I think I was a little hesitant because in my head I was thinking how good could possibly really be? In my head spaghetti/pasta is something I can make it home and almost thought it a waste of money to go out of my way to go out specifically to eat this dish. I ordered the Arrabiata pasta with the sausage. I'll admit I was a little thrown off by added cost of each tolling and also added cost of the Arrabiata sauce and I also did wait until a fair amount before the food was ready for takeout. But the pasta really blew me away. I'm still thinking about how good it tasted. I would definitely come back and I actually wanna bring my dad who loves spicy pasta like this. It was really that good. I can't think of another place that has this level of pasta let alone this price. The only negative I would say in regards to one of the workers. The cashier was manned by wonderful woman who did every and all tasks from taking the orders to putting food items in the oven to answering the phone I'm probably much more than that. I don't know. In contrast there was an Asian man with a black shirt who was also working. He looked lost and completely helpless. There was a moment where this woman was so busy and there was a ringing that I assume was from either a phone call or a delivery order. This man did not offer to help more nor did he help from what I saw. He was utterly helpless and unhelpful. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the encouragement "Hey help your team out!" The woman on the other hand was doing so many things simultaneously and yet was really kind at the same time. Anyways, I'm giving my review of a five star because I wanna see this place succeed and I'll definitely come back .
