Overall decent. Found this place through the flyers they left around so I called in to order and it was really hard to hear, but the lady was patient. Took a little longer than it said it would, but not too long. Pizza was good, dough was really good. Nice chunk of cheese, not too much sauce with the right amount of toppings. Got the mango habanero wings. Chicken itself was kind of dry, the sparse sauce didn't help as it wasn't spread evenly. It was nice to try a local place. read more

I think I came across this place here on Yelp so I saved it to my "pizza collection". We're always looking for a new pizza joint. I called and asked if they had any carry out specials. The girl said they had a 2 topping, large pizza for $10. SOLD! I got that with extra cheese and half pepperoni. Went to pick up and saw the sign that they have a large cheese or pepperoni for $6.50. That wasn't offered to me but I would have gotten that instead as we didn't NEED extra cheese (we're just boring so we get extra cheese as one of our toppings). Haha As you can see, the box is REALLY greasy but I'm guessing that's from all the extra cheese. Regardless, it was a decent tasting pizza and a great deal. You really can't find cheap/inexpensive pizza hardly anywhere these days. (Except of course Costco but as much as I enjoy their pizza, we like to change it up here and there). The crust (on the main part of the pizza) was pretty thin but still good nonetheless. I would definitely go back. Especially for a large $6.50 pizza! Maybe try some wings and/or salad next time too. read more

Although the pizza with a great price, I can kind of tell why it's mainly for kids. There was a lot of children running around and teenagers hanging out outside, which doesn't bother me. However, the pizza made me a little sick to my stomach and wasn't really great. The sauce was kind of like spaghetti sauce for the price. Daaaang a large pepperoni for $6.00?? That is a steal and guess what? It's a damn good pizza. I decided to go here after work to check it out! The cross streets are PCH and Junipero in the same shopping area as eddies liquor. I called to place an order and it was ready when i got there! The wings i got 6/6 buffalo and BBQ. Looks like the sauces were thrown on the wings and not dipped completely covering them! Not a big deal. I would for sure came back and try the other styles of pizzas and other items. Even the crust of the pizza was good and i usually never eat the crust part. Overall clean place and the people behind the counter were nice! Plenty of parking. Not bad Pep pizza 6/10 Small 3 top 7/10 (decent amount of toppings and pizza was hot) Mozzarella sticks 5/10 (they were cold/ not melty by the time I ate them, took us about 10 min to get home and eat) Small salad 2/10 ( forgot my cesar dressing :( couldn't enjoy a dry salad ) The first time we went we had a better food quality experience. The food is not good. The pizza was barely edible. It was there two topping large pizza, takeout special for $11. They were out of sausage on a Friday night at 6 o'clock??? I ordered a six piece chicken wings and they were horrible also. Undercooked and no taste at all. I took one bite and threw them in the trash. I normally go to Big E Pizza right down the street and I thought maybe I would try to save some money if they had good food but it was terrible. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Ordered a couple large pizzas. Crust was on the thinner side compared to other pizza shops. Not exactly thin crust, sorta medium crust? I enjoyed it though, my jaw was happy that I didn't overwork it. My eldest child found love with this pizza and has been asking when we'll order from them again. Service was mediocre. They're definitely not enjoying their job ha. Ha. But I wouldn't say service was poor. Also ordered chicken Alfredo. Kids thought it was disgusting. I thought it was edible. Sauce was thinner, maybe more oil and less cream/cheese. Edible but wouldn't order again. It came with a salad (didn't enjoy it) and garlic bread - forgot to eat it. Giving it 4 stars because Yelp ratings are weird where 3 is suppose to mean good but most of us view 3 as if it's a C rating, proceed with caution. This pizza place is located right by my house and I heard they sell large pepperoni pizzas for $6 if you pick it up. I called to place the order and it was ready in 15 mins. They have a parking lot, however it is kinda sketchy so you should be aware of your surroundings. Since it was so cheap, I thought it wasn't going to taste good but I was wrong, it tasted really good and it was high quality for what you get. For $6 this pizza was a steal. Now I know where to order pizza from now on if I don't feel like eating fast food chain pizzas. read more

I'm so glad I took a chance on this place despite some of the negative reviews I read. I ordered a XL pepperoni & bacon pizza and 6 buffalo wings. It wasn't the BEST I've ever had but far from the worst and much much better than the larger franchises. I would choose a mom & pop shop over papa John's ANY day. Very tasty and not doughy like other places. And very affordable. An XL 2 topping pizza and 6 wings would have easily been 40 dollars elsewhere. I got it for half that amount. 100% recommend! I feel like this used to be a different business that I loved ordering pizza from. I ordered tonight and it is obvious the business is different owners/ ran differently than it was prior. I just wish they would have kept up with the way the pizza was being made. I am not even a huge fan of pizza but for some reason I really loved the sauce and the pineapples they would use were big/ fresh rather than small canned pieces. I am bummed and am not ordering again. If you are looking for pizza from a place that starts with a V and rhymes with "schmalentinas," you will not get what you were craving. I decided to try this place out after receiving a pamphlet on my door, and I have ordered here three times since. The first time I ordered a Hawaiian pizza, a salad and a 2 liter for delivery and was given a 45 minute ETA and was told I could pay for the pizza by card upon delivery. After about an hour, I called and was told the pizza was just coming out of the oven. It showed up about 15 minutes after that, and the girl who delivered it gave me a 50% discount and apologized for the wait. I figured they probably had a busy lunch rush, but I appreciated the acknowledgement and was very hungry and excited to get my food by the time it arrived. The Pizza hit the spot. The second time I ordered the same thing. Food came on time, all was groovy. The third time I decided to try the bbq chicken pizza, an antipasto salad, and a 2 liter. I called to place the order and paid over the phone this time. I hadn't tallied up the total beforehand, though I noticed it seemed higher than usual. I just figured it was for getting a different type of pizza (Btw I prob wouldn't get the bbq chicken again - super heavy on the bbq and no cilantro). When the delivery arrived, I was handed a pizza, two salads, a rack of ribs, and garlic bread - and the 2 liter was missing. I told the man that I hadn't ordered all of this and tried to give him back the extra food, but he told me that was what I paid for and told me to keep it. I did give back the ribs because they would have gone to waste (I don't eat ribs), and he told me he would refund for the correct amount once he got back to the shop. I called the shop a few days later once the payment posted (unchanged) and explained the situation. I was transferred to another person and explained again, and he said he would have a manager look into it and call me back. I never received a call or a refund and just decided to eat the $10, but it was frustrating nonetheless. Overall the food is alright and decently priced. If I go here again I'll probably just try ordering in person. read more

I had my first experience with this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the food. We ordered pepperoni pizza, cheese bread sticks, a pepperoni calzone, plain hot wings, chicken Alfredo that came with salad and garlic bread, 1/2 rack of ribs that came with potato wedges. All of it was delicious. My only mild complaint was that the hot wings were very small but cooked well. Everything was packaged with care. I will definitely order take out again. read more
