I think I came across this place here on Yelp so I saved it to my "pizza collection". We're always looking for a new pizza joint. I called and asked if they had any carry out specials. The girl said they had a 2 topping, large pizza for $10. SOLD! I got that with extra cheese and half pepperoni. Went to pick up and saw the sign that they have a large cheese or pepperoni for $6.50. That wasn't offered to me but I would have gotten that instead as we didn't NEED extra cheese (we're just boring so we get extra cheese as one of our toppings). Haha As you can see, the box is REALLY greasy but I'm guessing that's from all the extra cheese. Regardless, it was a decent tasting pizza and a great deal. You really can't find cheap/inexpensive pizza hardly anywhere these days. (Except of course Costco but as much as I enjoy their pizza, we like to change it up here and there). The crust (on the main part of the pizza) was pretty thin but still good nonetheless. I would definitely go back. Especially for a large $6.50 pizza! Maybe try some wings and/or salad next time too.

Screw found in food. Was told I would get a full refund and only got back $12 which the pizza cost $18.

Screw found in food. Was told I would get a full refund and only got back $12 which the pizza cost $18. They didn't even believe that it came from them, we basically were called liars. We have children that could've eaten the slice with metal. There still might be metal shavings in their pizzas. DO NOT GO THERE! They're lucky we don't sue.

They sale pizza by the slice.

Daaaang a large pepperoni for $6.00?? That is a steal and guess what? It's a damn good pizza. I decided to go here after work to check it out! The cross streets are PCH and Junipero in the same shopping area as eddies liquor. I called to place an order and it was ready when i got there! The wings i got 6/6 buffalo and BBQ. Looks like the sauces were thrown on the wings and not dipped completely covering them! Not a big deal. I would for sure came back and try the other styles of pizzas and other items. Even the crust of the pizza was good and i usually never eat the crust part. Overall clean place and the people behind the counter were nice! Plenty of parking. If your in the area give this place a try! They also have a Instagram page with a menu. My large pizza and 12 wings under $20 bucks! Good stuff!

Greasy Pizza. Ugh!!!!

Greasiest pizza I've ever had or seen. This is ridiculous. I threw it away. Never again.

Recently stopped by Beach City Deli & BBQ after seeing recommendations online and decided to order…read morethe Big Kahuna. Honestly, one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The pineapple added to what's basically a Cuban style sandwich sounds different at first, but it works perfectly. The balance of sweet, savory, crispy, and smoky was spot on. Everything tasted super fresh and the bread held everything together perfectly without getting soggy. My original plan was to eat half and save the rest for later... yeah, that didn't happen. Ended up finishing the whole thing because it was that good. Service was friendly, food came out quick, and the whole spot had a really chill local vibe. Definitely a hidden gem if you're in the area. Highly recommend this place and I'll for sure be back to try more off the menu.

But, I understand. That particular sandwich is loaded with 6 kinds of meat. The contingency sandwich became the Big Bucky, w/ the choice of 3 meats. Soppressata, mortadella, bacon, extra onions, pickles & tomatoes. A satisfying, filling sub sandwich that made for a pleasurable lunch. A nominal wait, the meat were freshly sliced, and assembling the sandwich with plump & crisp vegetables, it was worth every minute of delay. The cashier was friendly & a pleasure to deal with, too.

Belmont Heights is so lucky to have great local businesses like this one…read more Ma 'n Pa Grocery is the cutest pop-up grocery around. They have all your typical liquor store needs: alcohol, sodas, snacks, beach items, etc. But they also come packed with fruits and veggies and favorite premade lunch/dinner items. You'll find an extensive selection of coleslaw, sandwiches, desserts, pre-marinated meats and more. I recently grabbed a turkey sandwich on a hoagie roll and a slice of lemon bundt cake (my payment for doing a social activity.) I noticed several people ordering their large steamed artichokes, so I'll need to return to fully understand the hype! Their catering menu is pretty extensive - it legit includes 20+ meat options. I definitely plan to take advantage of this when my parents visit next.

The location is convenient and right on the corner, with decent seating and a good vibe from the music. I was also greeted as soon as I walked in, and the staff was quick to start taking my order and directed me to the burrito menu. I did have to take a moment to look over everything, but service overall was friendly and attentive. The coffee was actually pretty good, priced around $2.99-$3.99 with a few creamer options. As for the food, the burrito itself was okay--good, but nothing extraordinary or better than what you could make at home. It comes with meat, egg, cheese, salsa, and additional add-ons like potatoes and extra cheese are charged separately. My main concern was the condition of the space: it felt very cluttered, with items stacked everywhere and a noticeable lack of cleanliness that made it hard to overlook. While the atmosphere and convenience have their appeal, I would rate the experience a 3.2 out of 5 overall, mainly due to cleanliness concerns and the food not quite living up to the hype. Total $18 large coffee no refills and the burrito pretty pricey

My husband ordered his favorite Chicken Parmesan sandwich, excellent. Portions are definitely large enough to share but we prefer to take our leftovers home to enjoy for another lunch. There are plenty of wines to buy for home or enjoy when dining in. They also have a few Italian beers on draft along with a nice assortment of canned ones. Service is very friendly and helpful. In addition, the food comes out quickly. Easy to grab and go on a lunch hour.

I tried the Torpedo sandwich, and while it was good, I realized I personally prefer hot sandwiches over cold ones so for me, the food was just okay this time. That said, I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying other items on the menu. The ambience is pretty quiet since most people seem to grab their food to go rather than dine in. It's more of a quick stop spot than a place to hang out. Overall, a solid place to check out if you're in the 2nd Street area, especially with the great service.

Between the two of us we've tried Tuna Sandwich - Definitely not your typical mayo heavy tuna. It was more herbaceous and light than creamy, which was a nice change of pace. If you like fresher, brighter tuna instead of rich and gloopy, this one is worth a try. Caprese - Super fresh and creamy and the ingredients themselves were on point. That said, it was missing a bit of seasoning a simple hit of salt, pepper, or some Italian seasoning would've taken it from "good" to "great." Turkey Sandwich - This was just a really good turkey sandwich. Simple, classic, and well executed. Definitely our #2 favorite so far. BLT - Our biggest miss. For such an iconic sandwich this version felt a little too basic and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Chicken Parm - A great option when you're in the mood for something hot and comforting. The sauce and cheese combo hit the spot and it was a fun switch up from the cold sandwiches. This lands at #3 on our list. Italian Sandwich - The star of the show. Perfect balance of flavor and acidity with all the right textures going on. This is hands down our #1 sandwich here and the one I'd recommend first if it's your first visit. On top of the sandwiches their chip selection is FIRE tons of fun options that make it feel like you're building a full snack experience not just grabbing a quick bite. The drink selection is solid too and I've got to give extra love for having sparkling apple juice as an option. Little things like that make it stand out. Service has been consistently chill and low key on all three visits nothing over the top but friendly enough and they get the job done. Overall as a sandwich stand Potato Chips Deli deliver good quality ingredient, a couple of standout sandwiches (get the Italian!), fun chip and drink choices, and casual no frills vibes. Still a little room for refinement (seasoning on some sandwiches, more exciting BLT), but we'll definitely keep coming back to work our way through the menu it's 4 stars from us.
