Came here on a Sunday around 5pm. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza. Inside was cool. Customer service was okay. No greeting and when asked questions employee didn't know much. They do have very large sizes. Pizza took 20 minutes to make. Veryyy cheesy but dough was thin. Wish it had more sauce and pepperoni. All in all for price was almost 60$ for 1 pizza. Tonight for dinner we decided to skip cooking and go out instead. I've had this pizza place saved on my YELP for a minute now that I had saved from a reel or TikTok video I saw. At first glance we arrived just after 5pm and the place was empty. Good for us since we could sit anywhere we wanted to. Nice decor on the walls. It kinda had the same vibe as Buonos pizza in long beach. An old school authentic new York Italian kinda feel to it. Overall the place was very clean. After looking over the menu we decided to go with a special 18" pizza, chicken wings plain, lasagna, meatball appetizer, and some extra marinara sauce for dipping any crust if needed. Brandon was a one man army tonight and did an amazing job. He practically single handedly had all of our orders ready, hot and on the table in less than an hour. Great job bud. The meatballs i was expecting to be bigger. They were still delicious. The sauce...OMG THE SAUCE! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. It was thick and so homemade kinda flavor. The lasagna was next and it too did not disappoint. Right from the first bite you taste the ricotta cheese. Very hot and filled with flavor. I ordered plain chicken wings because I can't do spicy anymore. They were good. I just wish they had larger orders because I love me some chicken wings . Now the pizza...it was perfect. I could only have two slices it had so much toppings on it. It was just right for this evening's dinner. Still had plenty leftovers for lunch tomorrow . Mom and pop pizza shop. Friendly owner took our order and was just great we have a small business that is providing good food to the community! They said they were affected by the pandemic but also now it's hard to find waiters in this inflated economy. So most of the seats are blocked with pizza boxes but they are open so don't worry. The catalano's pizza had lots of toppings and the pizza was great. My toddler also liked it (she just picked out the pepperoni). I got the 15" Catalano special pizza. If you love cheese, you'll love this pizza. The ingredients tasted fresh. It had pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, olives, onions and bell peppers. The owner was very nice and welcoming. I drove about 30 minutes back to San Gabriel Valley and by the time I got home, the pizza was still hot. Before this, I had Thai food at LB Thai food. The pizza was so good that I ate 2 slices and tempted to eat a 3rd slice. The location is in a small plaza next to a Dollar Tree. This is a local mom and pop's hole in the wall pizza joint. My family and I are already the biggest fans of Catalano's Pizza but we always just order the pizza and antipasto salad. So today, I decided to get an Italian cold sandwich for lunch. As I expected, they didn't disappoint, same as their pizzas, the sandwich was freshly made, the meat quality was good, and the bread was perfect. We enjoyed the sandwich. Next time, we're going to try the pasta and sides. The best thing about Catalano's Pizza in my opinion is that they are consistent in producing a great pizza, it's always made the same way with the same results. Other pizza places are hit and miss. Stopped by to get a slice of pizza, ended up getting a mini pizza and having a really good conversation with the lady in charge. The lady was very pleasant and friendly, she talked to me about business and the ingredients in their pizzas. I watched her make a pizza. They use a great grade of mozzarella and a good kind of olives. They put the a layer of cheese, they pepperonis, then another layer of cheese. They pizza looks extra cheesy BUT it actually didn't taste to cheesy at all, great flavor. Olives where delicious too. The actual establishment has a lot going on, the setting area is more of a storage area, so pizza to go is definitely a better option. But everything was clean and organized. This place has been in business many years and it is family owned. I had to come here in about maybe 10 years and decided to stop by. The pizza is kind of pricey so I didn't have much money I went and chose the $13.99 12-in Pizza special it's not quite prepared the same as the regular pizza, the dough is not hand-tossed it's more of a flat type of dough, however the sauce is the same the cheese is the same and the pepperoni although there's less of it that is okay on the pizza. It was very tasty the cheese is ooey gooey chewy just the way I like it and the pepperoni has so much flavor the sauce is outstanding. The dough is flat and it was prepared nicely I don't like the kind of pizza where when you pick it up it just falls so this was good. The pizza was enough to feed two of us and be satisfied. There's plenty of parking in front of the business which makes it easy access and there are a few booths inside to sit down and eat. I was coming down carson street and wanted to give this place a try! I ordered the honeycup pizza with mikes hot honey! Pretty good pizza. Pretty pricey for a 12 inch for $26 bucks total but i understand inventory of items goes up as well. THe cheese was good and crust was ok, lacking a bit of flavor still. They share a huge parking lot with the 99-cent store and a donut shop and bixby burgers. No issues parking getting in and out. Very nice people who run this place though and they have a health code A in the window which i like. If you never tried it give it a shot and see what you think. read more

So I came across this spot after moving down the street just a few days ago. Decided to hit up Yelp and see what my fellow Yelpers had to say because I was hungry and down to try this new (to me) pizza joint out. I'd like to definetely note that the guy who took my phone order for delivery was very patient and was as informative as possible with me asking questions about the meatballs, salad dressings, etc. I ended up ordering half white pizza and half pastrami becaud I couldn't choose between the two and phone guy said his fave was the pastrami. Pizza showed up an hour and 20 minuted later and I was waiting outside since i'd become a little impatient, but I kept my cool. Poor deliver guy was walking up the block (parking is bad so he had to park way down the street). We exchange, i tell him to keep the change, and I go inside to dip into the pie. Pastrami pizza: I was not impressed at all. I assumed it would have pizza sauce, because everywhere else I'd had it uses red, but to my surprise it didn't. I kept getting a mayo-based taste for the base which I did not like at all. The pastrami was good quality, though. IF I ordered it again, I'd request red sauce specifically and easy cheese. Though it was good cheese, it was a bit overbearing. White Pizza: loved it! Perfect balance of garlic, bacon, chicken, artichokes and red onion. This was the best part of the meal for sure, but it too had just a little bit too much cheese,which overpowered the pie. Garden salad: it was salad (shrugs shoulders) I can say that it was fresh, which was a plus, but I did not care for the ranch dressing, it was pasty and ruined the salad.
