We came to meet some friends for drinks and a pizza. I remember walking by this place a while back and noticed it. It was quite lovely on the patio. Mid week when we arrived which wasn't too crazy. There was no one on the patio which was nice as it gave us first choice for a seat...lol... Everyone was seating inside. The place itself isn't that big. You have the bar area with some bar seating. Then there's a couple of tables inside and of course the patio which is along the sidewalk. Personally I prefer sitting outside for the people watching. The staff were all amazing and very friendly. Places like that make the experiences more enjoyable. You want someone who is friendly and respectful. As we were there early, we grabbed one of the beer which they have quite a good selection on tap. There's also wine if you're not into beer. When it came time to grab some food, we were able to get a table inside. Majority of the breweries tends to serve pretty much the same things, pizza sandwiches and salads. No complaints here. Simple food goes a long way. There were a couple of us so we grabbed a few things to share. Started off with the pretzel balls with cheese dip and honey mustard and the chips with queso cheese dip. Pretzel was tasty and outdid the queso dip. Pizzas of course which were pretty big in sizes. A couple of the pizzas and a salad did four of us with leftovers. Their Hawaiian pizza was quite tasty and was finished. We also ordered one of the mushroom pizzas with an egg. It was tasty but a little on the salty side. The arugula salad was delicious. Simple but tasty. And then there was ham pizza I believe with onions and peppercini. That was also a favorite of the night. Overall, the place was quite fun. Not a big brewery and more intimate. The crowd was great and as most places are very kid and family friendly. There was couple of kids when we arrived. Service was great. Food and drinks were enjoyed and the service and staff were excellent. Street parking available along the front but also along the neighborhood. read more

Great pizza (especially the gluten free option), lousy service (which they seem to pride themselves on, for some odd reason). Called in a GF pizza to pick up around opening time on a Sunday. Got there and the pizza was not a gluten free one. OK no problem, it happens. So the nice bartender offers us a seltzer while we're waiting for the pizza to be remade. We're having a nice chat with her and she comes back with the pizza... and a bill for the seltzer. Really? Seriously? You've already made us late by messing up our order and now you're gonna charge us for a seltzer that we only accepted because we thought you were trying to make up for your kitchen's mistake? All came within 15 minutes The cider beer was delicious and the pizza pie was amazing. First time here. I was impressed by the taste of the pizza. Fresh and thin crust reminded me of an official New York Pizza. Friendly ambiance and plenty of street parking nearby. This place is a cool place to socialize and drinks. I will definitely come back. Y'all have no excuse to not come here if you're in Long Beach. My boyfriend suggested coming to Long Beach after I spent the day typing an essay. I'm so happy we came here because it was a wonderful experience. We were greeted when we walked in and Justing was our bartender. He suggested drinks and food, which is helpful when you have not been to a restaurant before. He is so attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. He is the perfect addition to Dutch's Brewhouse. We ordered the White Knight pizza and it was so delicious! My boyfriend and I shared the pizza, it is thin crust which is actually beneficial because drinking beer and eating pizza can feel heavy on the pansa. Bixby Knoll is such a cool part of LBC and on Atlantic Ave there are so many amazing places! Last night we went to Dutch's BrewHouse for a chill night - pizza and beer! And it was a great choice. Super casual place and a lot of local people there for beers, we sat down and ordered Dark Lager and Brown Ale along with Mama's Boy and Huntsman. Beers were good- nice cold and both pizza's were amazing. They make their own sausages which they use on pizza. Doug and thin slice of pizza were super delicious and light. Managed to step foot into this little hole in the wall on a Saturday afternoon, after having a drink at Ambitious Ales. Only one person hanging out so it was quite peaceful, however not sure if I'd come back to this bar. Unfortunately, the pizza was alright as in, the entire toppings fell off when I managed to hold my slice and then .. it just didn't feel like top notch wood oven style. There was a Male that may have been the owner, whom was nice at first but made a comment that I rather not disclose but can definitely tell that he's from a Red State (Republican). Texas Flag clearly gives it away along with the funny Honky tonk music that was playing the whole time. Nothing wrong with a little country just like nothing wrong with being a Mexican right ? However, I would assume this bar draws more attention to elder Patrons and well, maybe if they had Sports TV as an option, then I'd probably come back. I would never have known about this place had it not have been for my friend inviting me to Syncopated's Bingo Night on a Tuesday last month! Same owners! So cool! They're so nice! So we got invited by Kim and Jessie/Jesse at Syncopated for her birthday party here at Dutch's the next day! They said Karaoke night and I was sold! So my friend and I dropped our kids off at her Moms and we went as a mom's-night-out and sang karaoke, ate a pepperoni pizza and someone gave me her other half of an avocado pesto toast which was yummy, had a couple beers (I forgot what they were called), used the gift card my son won at Syncopated's Bingo Night and had fun! Both brewery are fun, kid-friendly and I'm assuming dog-friendly too? Definitely coming back! Less wait time than any other karaoke place I've been to in Long Beach! I was looking up breweries in Long Beach and this place came up and I am so happy. My girlfriend and I ordered the White Knight Pizza and it was absolutely amazing. The bartender was really friendly and informative about the brews. I ended up choosing the Syncopated Jimmy Hands Ya Lemons and my girlfriend had two of their IPAs. They were all amazing. My friend and I are always looking for new pizza places to try out. Saw this place had 5 starts so we figured it would be excellent and the pictures looked delish. We sat down. The waiter came to get our drink order. My friend wanted a Coke but all they had was "Cola". She asked what that was but he didn't know, just that it wasn't Coca-Cola. So we ordered water and were pointed to the jug by the bar.... I asked for 2 large cups of ice for the water to which he replied "we don't have ice". Umm what!!? Alrighty then.... :-/ We started off with the pretzel bites. They were good. We got "The Basic" pizza. It was fine. Not amazing, but good. Very thin though. Our server was very friendly, and willing to answer all our questions about the menu, which as someone who's spouse has very specific food allergies, is always very, very appreciated. Late review, but better than never Where do I start? Parking. Street parking. There's also a parking lot across the street but I found a spot on the street. On Atlantic. Free. There are posted signs with restrictions but I'm almost positive it's not enforced after 6PM. Check for yourself. Came for drinks and maybe something to snack on. And found just that. Selection of pours are great - drafts and canned. Dunno if any are bottled because everything I ordered was off the tap or in a can. Ciders. Stouts. Sours. I was all over the place that evening. Wanted to try a bunch that I hadn't had before. All really decent that I'd order again. Then there was the pretzels and pizza. Only complaint about the pretzels were that it wasn't enough. For the fatty I am, I inhaled them with and without the accompanying dips. I would have done the same with the pizza however, I had a request for the kitchen - only half with meat as my friend doesn't do meat. She enjoyed her half too as there were no leftovers and we both agreed that we'd be back. Service was awesome. Between two different bartenders, they checked up on us, didn't leave us waiting for anything and were very friendly too. Brought over some tastes (of the beer) making sure we would be happy.
