Pretty good pizza near north LB. I've had it twice due to my kid's dad ordering it. The toppings are pretty fresh, not fresher than MY FAVORITE spot in Long Beach, but it's a great option if you live in that area and want to stop supporting larger pizza chains. read more

I live nearby, usually go to porkys or thunderbolts but they had a long wait on a Saturday night. I called this place since they are also close by to ask if they had any gluten free/vegan options on their menu and the man who answered the phone laughed and said no, as if he was bothered by my question. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. Some people have dietary restrictions, not by choice. I had a guest over that has dietary restrictions and unfortunately had this experience but I definitely won't be coming here to get anything even tho I don't have dietary restrictions and live close by. Would rather go to porkys or thunderbolt! You also should consider having more options for everyone or atleast just being respectful about it. I also saw one of their drivers yesterday, driving recklessly down Long Beach blvd to make I assume a delivery. read more

My local pizza spot would go consistently when I would have drinks at Carlie's. Sad to say Carlie's is closed but definitely still go back here and grab a quick small pita and some wings. Food made to order and always tasting fresh. Plenty of topping choices and service is great. I usually order my pizza and chill in my car till it's ready mainly a to go place but I do believe they have a few tables. Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to. read more

Got a flyer in the mail, decided to try this new place. Since it was the 4th of July, I called to see if they had regular business hours and a nice man confirmed they were open all day. Ordered on line, easy peasy, even got delivered early! The sausage pepperoni mushroom onion pizza was delicious! The inside of the crust was so fluffy! I ordered hubby a Mexican Hawaiian pizza- ham pineapple jalapenos was the bomb. The Italian sandwich was loaded with meat n veggies with this yummy dressing that soaked in to the bread without making it soggy. read more

This pizzeria is a gem, found next to Carlie's bar. I had something like a year ago but can't recall what I ordered, obv didn't impress my taste buds after drinking. Yesterday, we ordered a shrimp garlic spinach pizza, a garlic chicken spinach sun-dried tomatoes calzone and a cheese and pepperoni calzone. Pizza was bomb and so were the calzones. Their mozzarella is very good, they are very generous with the cheese and the shrimp are no bay shrimp or chopped up lil pieces, great food, good pricing and for a few bucks they deliver themselves! The only downside is that you really can't eat there unless you want to stand. read more

Service was horrible. We called in ahead for an order, they said about 15-20min to be ready. We gave them 25-30min. We arrived and the food wasn't even ready, they ended up forgetting so we had to wait 20 more min. for our food to be done. read more

Please avoid this place at all costs. This is my 2nd time ordering from them. The first time I ordered through yelp and was asked my phone # & email to be notified when my food was ready. I was never notified and when I got there to check if my food was ready it was cold. Today was my 2nd time ordering and as soon as I walked in I Saw a huge dirty container full of dry wings on top of the counter completely exposed. That should have been warning enough to not order food here. They don't wear gloves and go from handling your money straight to handling the pizza without washing their hands. The cherry on top, once I received my pizza it had a hair cooked In it and when I tried to let them know they were extremely rude. This place needs to be shut down. It's disgusting. read more

I usually love hole in the wall pizza places like this but the food I got tasted so weird to me. The pizza sauce tasted like taco bell mild sauce and ketchup. Definitely a different tasting pizza. I also got a chicken Alfredo pasta and the sauce also tasted off to me like it had cleaner or something. My gf and I didn't even finish the food we ended up throwing it away. read more

My work friend chose this place for lunch today. We work in the area and get lunch almost every day. I had never heard of Bjojos before so I picked the Philly Cheesesteak. I thought it was excellent. The meat was plentiful as well as the cheese. The peppers add more flavor and the bread was so nice & soft and warm. Very good! it was a phone in order. Ready on time. We have limited lunch since we are working short hours right now so timeliness is a big factor as well as the food. I am a fan and we will return. read more

The customer service isn't the greatest. There's a teenage girl who has no manners what so ever. Also, went to pick up a pizza and no one in the restaurant was wearing a mask. So the cook and the cashier are hanging out behind a shower curtain. Witnessed the cook talking over the pizza with no care in the world. Definitely avoiding from now on. read more

I passed by this new pizza place 3 times this week before trying it out...All I got to say now is that I'm very happy I live 1 block away..Delicious fresh pizza, great prices and service from an owner who cares about service and quality! BE ALERT! This review is for a pick up on 07/01/218 I called to order some wings (25 piece) which are normally $17.99 and with Long Beach tax should come out to $19.00 and some change. When i walked in they gave me a total of $28.65. I paused, looked up at the menu right above the register and confirmed the price was "$17.99 plus tax". When I mentioned this to the cashier , he looked me square in the face and said "oh yea that because of the tax". Long Beach sales tax is at 10.25% and even a dummy would know that the sales tax wouldn't bring add $10 to your bill. In other words they will RIP YOU OFF if given the opportunity. They overcharged and used tax as a justification. Which is ILLEGAL. If you changed the price , fine , but don't lie and say it's because of sales tax. I ended up buying the wings because I already had dinner plans and couldn't change them, but it was a really shitty feeling. Their wings, pizza, and other items on the menu are actually delicious , but the fact that they pull some shit like this makes me mad. I was going to recommend a bunch of my friends to this place but now I can't. Won't be back read more

The only food that I believed was mediocre was the cheesecake, and I'm pretty sure that it was store bought. I completely regret not just ordering McDonalds. Pizzeria? More like diarrhea. read more

Thick (not paper thin) sliced pepperoni & thick ham pieces topped this cheesy pizza. Fantastic airy crust. This pizza reminds me of an old pizza parlor style but better! This isn't a thin crust wood fired oven style pizza. Wedges were crispy and large portion size too. Loved the self serve drink fountain as many places don't offer them anymore. Great place to watch a game, bring the family or just have really good pizza. Will definitely return.

Nice find tucked away in a little strip of businesses just north of Bixby Knolls on Long Beach Blvd. Affordable price points and good food make this a great alternative to the usual major chain options. Definitely worth checking out. read more

( We can afford to eat there, but it is the principle!) I will not name names but she is quite a "put off" for the restaurant. The manager needs customer service lessons also. Small things that can put a damper on a restaurant that might earn more stars otherwise. The Willow St location: the salad bar is unasanitary!! It sits low and I have seen guys literally speak into the salad. It looks dirty when containers spill over too! I heard the owner speak on radio (KFI) and thought he made a lot of sense and had a nice restaurant group. It just shows, he needs to supervise his staff demeanor at Ocean, and cleanliness at Willow. I am sorry and I mean no harm. I have been a customer since 2020 when I moved to Long Beach and it saddens me to state the above. I would still recommend the Ocean site and please make food less super salty. Thank you.

I immediately contacted the business via email and received a call from one of the owners (Heather- my apologies if spelled incorrectly)- she apologized and said the next Pizza is on me- just call/text when you're ready- I informed her- I can't pick it up- she said- no problem we'll deliver it to you in San Pedro. I could've ordered the identical pizza as before "8 inch Hot Honey Pepperoni with Sausage"- but she said I could order a 12" or 16"- I told her a 12" is fine and I don't need the Sausage added onto the pizza- I wanted to enjoy the Pepperoni by itself- bonus Pepperoni was the mini/cup size (my favorite). So granted initially the rating- didn't deserve a "5 Star". But in consideration for the excellent customer response/service displayed and for the portion size and excellent taste- it deserves a "5 Star" Rating. Looking forward to my next order!

When I first arrived, there was a family sitting outside who I initially assumed were customers, but I later realized they appeared to be the owners. There was just a lot going on, with people going back and forth between sitting outside and going inside where the food was being prepared. Personally, that made me a little uncomfortable. I understand that it may be a family-owned business and everyone operates differently, but I would have preferred to see a little more separation between hanging out outside and preparing food. We ordered quite a bit: a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza, lasagna, buffalo wings, and the Mediterranean salad. The Mediterranean salad was actually the best thing we ordered. It tasted fresh and was probably the highlight of the meal. The garlic bread that came with the lasagna was also good. Unfortunately, the lasagna tasted like it may have been previously frozen, and overall, the rest of the food just didn't impress me. I also noticed that several of the prices on the menu appeared to have been changed by hand, with the old prices covered and new prices handwritten in. I completely understand that prices increase, but combined with everything else, it added to the overall disorganized feeling of the experience. Unfortunately, after eating the food, my stomach became extremely upset. I can't say whether it was the pizza, lasagna, wings, or something else entirely, so I'm not going to assume what caused it. I can only say that I felt fine beforehand and had a very upset stomach afterward, which obviously didn't help my overall impression of the experience. I really wanted to like this place, especially because it's so close to home, but unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. Between the atmosphere, the food, and how I felt afterward, I personally wouldn't return.

The host earlier had helped out by saying that he tries to let the kitchen know these things and help redirect how food is prepared, but they don't seem to be listening to him. Hope Big E gets on this, I would hate to see them have issues after an expensive (and COOL) remodel!
