Checked out Saint and Second for happy hour, though their HH menu was small, we tried about every food item on there and it was very delicious. Would return for the drinks next time, but the top (roof) floor was a vibe!

Made reservations for 11 AM Sunday brunch. But upstairs is open seating. Service is quick! Servers are helpful. Food was tasty & drinks were delicious! Parking's always tough on the weekends; metered, street, with a 2 hour MAX. Restrooms are upstairs. They have an elevator.

Came here yesterday for the first time. I was with my daughter and decided to try this place for lunch. It is a great looking restaurant with a nice second floor . You can sit up there and get a nice breeze and people watch at the same time. The service is also great , the staff is very attentive. My daughter ordered the traditional breakfast and I ordered the classic eggs Benedict. My daughter liked her breakfast ,she especially liked how creamy and soft the eggs were. Her dish came with bacon, a couple of slices of sourdough and some fingerlings baby potatoes. I think that is my biggest complaint. The potatoes are just seasoned with Parmesan cheese and that is all . They aren't sliced, they are seasoned they are just too plain. So much you can do with those potatoes and yet so plain.

Came here on a Saturday for brunch and honestly had one of the best experiences ever. Our server C took care of us and honestly provided the best experience ever: The vibe is cool and the bar is epic. But the food was amazing. Started with the French onion soup, the spicy tuna crispy rice and the mac and cheese. All 5/5! The tuna was fresh, the soup savory and the the mac and cheese gooey and full of flavor. The wedge salad with the steak was beyond delicious. And the chorizo tacos were to die for!

Wait Time: Arrived around 10 AM and had no problem grabbing a seat upstairs on the outdoor patio. Vibe: Lovely patio with that gentle brunch feel. Enough energy to feel fun, but calm enough to enjoy your coffee. Food: I ordered the Avocado Toast with soft-scrambled eggs, arugula, marinated tomatoes, parmesan, and pickled onions on grilled sourdough. The eggs were creamy and clearly well executed. The tomatoes and pickled onions added a bright tang that balanced the richness of the avocado, and the light salad on top kept it from feeling heavy. Service: Smooth and relaxed. Parking: Metered along Second Street. Easy at 10 AM, probably more difficult later in the day

Worth a visit! Reservations recommended for their dinner area on 1st floor. We did place our name on the list however made our way to 2nd floor which was self seating, first come, first serve. I ended up liking the vibe and atmosphere here more, considering the lounge seating, outdoor setting overlooking 2nd street, and music that was played louder but still reasonable here compared to 1st floor. We had the braised short rib appetizer, cranberry chicken, and seared salmon. Such beautiful, elevated dishes, flavorful with each bite. I normally am not impressed with dessert at restaurants but to my shock, the smores dessert was everything and more! Decadent, rich, not too sweet, the perfect balance. Drinks, perfection. Please note this isn't a trashy place. The drinks are elevated, with details and what I hope to be housemade syrups and flavors. Annalise was attentive to us, despite how busy it gets upstairs. She was sweet, personable, welcoming! An absolute joy. As was Juan, who was prompt with checking in on us and making sure our table was cleaned as we did have to switch tables when we got booted out of ours. He nudged us in the direction of dessert and glad we did too. Will def be returning.

This is located on 2nd street so find street parking or their timed public parking sections pay via passport parking app or by card. Came on a friday night for some small bites and wanted to sit upstairs so you can just walk up there its 1st come 1st serve basis upstairs. Beautiful views! The staff was super friendly ajd prompt and loved them shout out to the female bartender. I wish i could say the same for their food but i dont know if its because of what we ordered was just not their best options but we ordered: Bone marrow appetizer Side of fries Now our server/bartender did say it was a small portion and for $33 it really was small for just one 6in bone and 4 tiny extremely oily slices of sourdough bread. The bread was soaked in oil which made it very unappetizing and it was like they poured oil all over the bone as well. Fries were skinny which were nice and the ranch it came with was nice too it had dill in it which i liked. Dont order the bone marrow not worth it at all. Come for the views and vibes

Saint on 2nd is a very nice restaurant with a beautiful interior. I didn't realize they also have a second floor overlooking 2nd Street, which would've been great to know ahead of time, but the inside space itself is still very stylish and inviting. The food is a bit pricey, and I honestly think the Yelp price rating should be updated to $$$. The drinks were mediocre, not bad, but not anything special. My wife ordered the Maestro which was a little different in taste. For food, we started with the ricotta meatballs in sauce, and they were incredible, easily the best meatballs I've ever had. We also shared the fish and chips, which were delicious, with fries that were crispy and fresh. Overall, the food we ordered was delicious. A nice spot for the atmosphere but just be prepared for higher prices.

Everything we ordered was very good but my favorite was the Burrata salad was my favorite. I had the S'more for dessert and it was excellent. I had to change my reservation at the last minute and the staff was very accommodating. Our server did a great job and was knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant has a nice open feeling while also darker like a steakhouse. All in all, a very nice dining experience.

French Onion soup

We came here on a Wednesday afternoon in the pouring rain and there was tons of seating available. Parking is metered parking on the street and I imagine that it would be harder to find parking on a regular day or in the evening. The ambiance is quite upscale and this restaurant would serve well for date night. We ordered the French onion soup, Crispy chicken sandwich with truffle fried and the Fish and chips with regular fries. The French Onion soup was delicious - warm, melting cheese, bread soaked in completely...it was excellent! It was also quite heavy so I'm glad that we ordered only one to share. The fish and chips was surprisingly good. The haddock fillet was cooked to perfection and the breading was light but crispy. The tartar sauce with it was very very good. They didn't provide any malt vinegar. The fries were thin and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside which we liked. The crispy chicken sandwich was also very good. The chicken, again, had a thin but crispy breading that was beaded with black pepper, chili and I guess, some peanut powder as per the menu. It was lovely to eat. The sandwich was filled with kimchi sauce, cabbage and Korean pickles to give it an Asian zing. The truffle fries were delicious but I would have liked a little more truffle oil. The service was mediocre. The server was ok. They would also disappear right around the time we needed something. But outside of that, the food was good and I recommend this place for their food.

Came in on a Sunday at around 2pm. No wait time and we found street meter parking fairly quickly. Service was great! Our waiter was very friendly and kept cracking jokes with me and my friends, it was all very good vibes. As for food- I ordered the biscuits, hummus, and provoletta sandwich to share and everything was amazing! Food took a bit long, but I don't mind waiting if that means it tastes good and is fresh. I think my favorite was also the Kale lemonade. Super refreshing and tasty! I got a side salad with my sandwich and it was amazing! I would definitely come again. Sit on the second floor if you can- the ambiance was so pretty!

We typically come here for dinner, but today we decided to come for brunch. One thing about it, the food is never a miss! And that's why we call this cozy little viby place our favorite restaurant. The Smoked Tri-tip Hash was brilliantl flavored. It was seriously so good. And the Pecan Pie French Toast will literally make you drool. I had to pack the rest to-go but it was worth every bite. We sat in a booth in the bar so the service was a little less attentive than preferred but still good service nonetheless because we wanted to take our time and not feel rushed. Also my Irish coffee was absolutely delicious! I got it with Bourbon.

Excellent Sangria. The best I've had in some time! I can taste the splash of Brandy! Yum!

It was my first time at Saint & Second and I was waiting for a group of friends, thus sitting at the upstairs bar, but scouting out a large enough area for us to all sit comfortably and the staff, particularly Dave and Ryan K, could not have been any more welcoming and helpful! Really excellent hospitality! Dave went above and beyond in making sure we had options. Ryan was patient and friendly, even after a scammer ran off without paying her bill. He didn't even let it affect his attitude, and I'm not sure I would have adapted so well. He's really a class act. Our group found a great place to sit and enjoy happy hour drinks and food, all of which were tasty (see photos of Butternut Squash Hummus with Pita and Blackened Salmon Tacos). We will definitely go back! Some highlights, aside from the service, were the delicious Sangria and the beautiful view of Second Street from the rooftop bar! I'd like to go back and try dinner soon.

Please keep it that way, gas is $5.97/gallon and my wallet is already in therapy.) I handed the valet a $5 tip before I even stepped out of my car, just so I could glide into the lobby feeling like a full‑blown princess making her grand entrance. Before you leave, you simply pay the valet in cash or card and they'll have your car right there before you can even blink. AMBIANCE Walk in and boom! A towering, beautifully decorated Christmas tree greets you like it's auditioning for a holiday movie. Check out my photos; the whole lobby whispers one word: sophisticated. Oooh, I love that tree! Attentive, sharp memory, and smooth service all the way through. Zero notes. FOOD The menu is small, so if you show up ravenous, pace yourself or plan to Uber home after a cocktail‑heavy evening. I'm allergic to cheese, so I had to double‑check ingredients, but the Mushroom Flatbread was outstanding, flavor was superb and the best part was they did not skimp on the mushrooms! A+ for that. I also tried the Prosciutto di Parma with melon, which is a strange combo for a California girl... but hey, I never said I wasn't a weirdo. Drinks are not my thing since I enjoy company without alcohol's help, so I can't help you with that. DATE‑WORTHY OR NOT? Absolutely. Alter Ego gets a double thumbs‑up from me and a strong recommendation for your next Silver Singles date. When we got there, I felt that the decorations and drinks felt a bit gimmicky, with random fairy tale-esque elements like a throne and massive red roses. The two people working at the bar were both unwelcoming and seemed upset that we were there (there were other people at the bar, including people who arrived later in the night than us). We paid for our drinks, which cost over $40 for 2 drinks with tip. My cocktail was $17 and came in a glass barely bigger than a shot glass. We left around the time they were calling for last call.
