I got the short rib mushroom polenta and the pineapple yuzu espresso tonic. Both were excellent! The short rib was very tender and the polenta was amazing and the mushrooms were so well flavored and seasons and locally sourced according to the staff. I was very thoroughly surprised by the food quality and the espresso tonic was very good too. Not too fizzy and sweet but a good hint of it and coffee. The staff was very attentive and super nice and made sure we had our needs met. The atmosphere is just a lively brunch vibe with a large wine selection that I'll have to come back for to try. The outdoors looked nice but it was too toasty at the time so we opted for the inside. Fantastic brunch spot in Long Beach!! They're on the corner of the street where there's a small paid lot. Street parking is available but a little tough in weekends. However it's still worth all that to try this place! Every single dish was so fresh and made with simple but delicious ingredients. I got the French toast (they do half portions!), smoked salmon tartine, and Turkish eggs. They were all flavorful in different ways. Even just popping in for a drink, it's still a cool and enjoyable experience. Regardless on what day you visit, it's alway pretty lively. We stopped by on a Thursday morning just right after the farmers market next door. Instead of a meal, a drink was what we came for. I asked the host if we needed to check in for a table as we were just having a drink. Instead you could order at the bar area and grab one of the seats at the fire pits on the patio back garden. It was still nice and relaxing. The place is quite calming and chill. Amazing meals if you get a chance to try it out. Inside has a cool Palm Spring or Palm Beach vibe. However you want to see it. Outside along the side has a large communal table, tables in the back and seating along the fire pits and well as a little sunken seating area. There's a wall along the fence with a fresh veggies and herbs growing. Not sure if they get utilized in the dishes. Since we just wanted something cold, the ice coffee and one of the hibiscus ice tea was ordered. Both tasty and refreshing and of course made to order. The girls at the bar/cafe were all very sweet and friendly. Everyone pretty much are whenever we visit. The place is great and the food and drinks are always good. I loved the creative and delicious "Turkish Eggs" which included garlic beet yogurt, beautiful sous vide eggs, dill, mint, chili oil and toasted sourdough bread to scoop up all the goodness. One of my favorite things about this place is their dog-friendly patio in the back, which made it the perfect brunch spot for me and my pup. Before leaving, I decided to try their Coconut Matcha to go. I was honestly skeptical because it was my first time trying coconut matcha, but wow... I completely understand the hype now. This place is SO cute. Parking was just street parking but we didn't have any issues. The inside is adorable but I really liked the patio outside. So many places to sit outside & there's even an inground conversation pit. Our server was very friendly & we got our food fast. I got the smoked salmon tartine & my friend got the avocado tartine. She chose this place since she's kind of a foodie and would like to go to new places we both can try, I got the Classic, 2 farm eggs, bacon, sourdough with salted butter and jam. It's a big breakfast for me but don't ask me if I can distinguish farm eggs with other eggs. Scrambled eggs as long as cooked right is just as good as any, lol! My friend had the Turkish eggs which was garlic beet yogurt, two soft eggs, ghee, aleppo oil, dill, 'hey brother baker' sourdough. Coffe was Chagaccino with a concoction of good organic stuff. Made it a special touch for me already. Our server was so nice and friendly. He recommended the Turkish eggs with bread. Great presentation, but it wasn't filling for the price. It was mainly sunny side up eggs over beets yogurt with bread for $19. It was delicious, but not for the price. My friend got the breakfast sandwich which looks more filling than my dish. She did mention it was good. I also ordered a peppermint latte. Cute little heart in my coffee cup. Maybe I just got the wrong dish. Came here for the sunset social night which was also the same night as the tinned fish tasting event. We had the option of sitting outside by the fire pits but the seats are kinda deep in that you'd lean back really far and tables are pretty small so its good for sitting out for drinks with friends but not so much on the food. We were able to sit inside and its very pretty!! Loved our drinks; they were a great flavor. The anchovy toast was my favorite and the duck and pork pate was pretty tasty but you'd need to order more bites if you want more sustanance. Very much a chill and chat location.
