I've been here a few times and it is always a vibe! Wide selection on the menu with tasty food and cocktails. Very nice indoor and patio space. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. Good service. Came here on a Thursday evening and enjoyed the live music! Definitely a new go-to if I'm in the area. Even just for a drink at the bar!

This place transported me back to Tulum. The atmosphere felt like a vacation. The music, the drinks, the food, and the staff were all excellent. We ordered the salmon bites, Baja fish tacos with rice and beans and the seafood pasta. The salmon bites were good but just slightly dry/over cooked. The sauce on the side made them slightly better. The Baja tacos were amazing. The toppings (including the salsa on the side) were the perfect mix of savory, sweet, and spicy. The pasta had a good amount of protein/ seafood and great portion size for leftovers. I went on a Saturday evening so there was live music on the inside and a TV + music playing on the outdoor patio. This place offers great vibes and great food. I recommend it if you're in the Long Beach area. Try to make reservations ahead of time because it gets crowded at night.

Visited Luna twice while I was in Long Beach and a great spot for Happy Hour. Received excellent service from both Natalie and Carla during my two visits. The cocktails are nicely crafted, great for photos, but on the lighter side, as far as alcohol goes. I tried the Pineapple Paloma, Mezcalita, and Paloma Blanca. The Happy Hour food was incredible! I tried the Carnitas tacos and the Baja fish tacos and they were both exceptional. I had to take a few things off, due to an allergy, so you will also get pico, and salsa on top as well. I would love to try more items on their Happy Hour menu, as well as their regular menu. The space is open, inviting, and we sat outside for perfect afternoon experiences.

Definitely a hidden gem of sorts if you don't know about it. Amazing ambiance on the inside, great drinks, and what looks like some delicious food (I didn't try it this time). I'm really excited to come back to this place. At some point, the service was super friendly and fast, the drinks were good, and the ambiance was great! Love this place! We went on a Thursday night for a late dinner. There was a band playing and the place was packed. Lots of parking but we had to circle around a few times to find a spot. Great vibe in the place and if you want something a little quieter, head out to the patio. We had some chicken wings as an appetizer, blackened salmon and an AMAZING Pasta Del Mar. The pasta dish was so tasty The drink menu did not disappoint! Lots of unique cocktails I had the pina colada and it was incredible.

We came to try Luna Bistro Cafe on a weekday afternoon which happened to be their Happy Hour. There were some discounted food and drinks during this time. The interior is large, spacious, and very modern with a lot of cloud motifs. Service was fine, though our waitress completely forgot our water refill request. We ordered mini fish tacos off of the Happy Hour menu, plus salmon bites and The Favorite Salad from the regular menu. Everything was tasty though to me portions were just okay for the price. Presentation was definitely gorgeous though. The Mango Lemonade and Triple Berry Hibiscus drinks were tasty but a bit small for $6 considering they were non-alcoholic drinks. Overall, Luna is a bit on the pricier side but the atmosphere is elegant and refined while still not being uptight. The decor is truly beautiful inside so it's a visually stunning space to dine in, and I still really enjoyed my meal here.

Stopped here for Sunday brunch after a recommendation from a friend that lives in Long Beach. The restaurant is somewhat hidden, but once you're inside it's a bright space with great decor that says tropical vibes. Their were a lot of food choices for me, which made it difficult since I love Mexican food, but I ordered the steak Al sur and the steak was very tender and flavor the carnitas enchilada was a bit dry for me. We had a couple appetizers and the ceviche asiática was fantastic! Cocktails were solid and our waitress was good without being overbearing. Overall highly recommend checking out Luna.

Not my first visit and DEFINITELY not my last! I was in the area and stopped in for a quick drink before meeting up with friends for dinner. To my surprise they had happy hour from 2-5 which was PERFECT! Ordered what I think is THE BEST drink on the menu...Banana Espresso Martini and a few appetizers off the happy hour menu. Everything was full of flavor and perfectly portioned for quick snacking. The decor and vibe feels like a tropical bar in Cancun and the staff and service is always warm and accommodating. There's even a stage in the dining area which I'll have to come back on the nights with live entertainment!

Beautiful setting to grab a meal and drink with loved ones. We decided to try a little bit of everything and ordered a bunch of appetizers instead of main courses. Had a great time listening to the live band while enjoying the delicious food. Service was exceptional and food came out fairly quick despite how busy it was for a Saturday. Would recommend to anyone in the area. (There's also a Target next door just in case you wanted to walk off your meal ‍)

The instructors are great and the crowd is fun diverse (in terms of age, background, and experience dancing). The djs are also awesome play a lot of good music. The vibe is fun and high energy. It's nice to see a place that is filled with dancers of all skill levels just having fun and learning to dance. The venue itself is beautiful. They have a large open air dance floor that overlooks the marina as well as a smaller dance area inside near the pool tables. The decore is classy and elegant overall. On salsa nights they have drink specials in addition to the regular drink menu. Lastly I once lost my key fob there and someone returned it to their lost and found. I'm forever grateful to whomever returned it and the staff at the front door / lost and found. Overall it's an awesome place to come out and hang out and dance.

It wasn't even close to full. They're clearly holding people outside on purpose to create fake hype, which is honestly pretty messed up. You're telling me dozens of people are stuck waiting forever while there's plenty of room inside? It's giving manufactured crowd and poor management. To make it worse, they stopped serving drinks and turned the lights on at 1:15 AM, way earlier than literally any normal bar. So after wasting hours in line, you barely even get time inside. And it somehow gets worse -- at 1:35 AM they were literally kicking people out of the restroom. We weren't even allowed to finish or wash our hands before being rushed out. That's not just rude, it's straight up unhygienic and disrespectful. Overall, completely overhyped, disorganized, and not worth the wait at all. Don't fall for the line -- it's fake.

I was excited to see on the menu that they were serving Kinobi gin from Kyoto. I discovered this gin on a trip to Kyoto have since bought it regularly. To my surprise, when I saw the bartenders making the drinks they were using Gray Whale. Gray Whale is fine, but it's not in the same league at Kinobi. I realize Kinobi can be hard to find at times but If there's a substitution like that, the server should say something when you order the drink or if it's a recipe change, the menu should be updated. Speaking of service, that's what really brought me to write this re view. Before we even ordered we were told that we would only have 90 minutes. That honestly killed the vibe and made us feel rushed. Like the OpenTable confirmation even said we'd have two hours. And for tge rest of our time there our server pretty much ignored us. They forgot some of the food we ordered and shoved the check in our face when they wanted us to leave. I'm guessing they were stretched too thin? I think they need to hire another person to be a server or maybe get an extra bartender and have them wait on the people at the bar. At a bar like this service is everything. Being a Japanese themed bar you'd think they would try to copy the level of service you'd have in Japan. I just moved to the neighborhood and probably won't return after our experience.

And this one time I was there alone with another, no other patrons just staff members walking around from time to time. We stole the moment to dance under the Long Beach sky, just the two of us as a famous Christina Perrio song gently wafted in the night breeze. At another separate time, I was at the Los Angeles County Fair with another. We rode the ferris wheel at such a time where our gondola stopped at the top just as the sun set. The moment was nothing but beautiful and life affirming because the sinking of the sun's light was like a real life video of nature happening in front of us, unburdened by static or data stall. We witnessed nature resting, and I feel, that it was a kin to a beauty falling into a gentle sleep. These two instances have a common factor: momentary bliss arrived to bless an experience because the environment supported discovery of unplanned joy. That is what I associate with the Wicked Wolf, and this time the joy arrived eventually because when my Mom and I arrived to their high tea on Mother's Day the experienced seem like it would land nowhere good. Truth be told, my mom and I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no host in the stand and the place was empty except for a foursome. The energy felt lacked luster. One or two minutes after, the bartender informed us that we were early and the host would come soon. We sat in an available sofa for two, a loveseat persay. This gave us an opportunity to admire the decor that transported us to a storybook forest where good fairies reside, not like swamp creatures and trolls with malevolent fangs and dragon green eyes. I especially loved the large roses in the ceiling. To set the stage, the black ceiling had vines hanging from it, and the few roses were pops of crimson red displayed above. These were wonderful accents to the central mural of the joint that invited the viewer within deeper into the fairy forest where a light shone on an unseen meadow. The place had the decorations and general environment to be a lavender fairy's lounge, but, it did not fully work as a team room. For instance, my mom and I were sat in another lover's couch. Initially, I did not want to sit here because we were given circular tray sets. So imagine being told to sit in a couch, and each of us would get a tv tray. So I was left to wonder if we were going to be served tea in Belle's living room or if were going to watch a flick as we ate pollo loco bowl? But then as I settled into the tranquility of the moment, saw more people come and find their seat or couch, and as the serviced picked-up I realized that this was high tea in a place that had taken disjointed beauty and tackied it together for a patched tea experience that worked well. It was like the experienced was blessed and allowed by the same spirit that brought forth Raggedy Ann. For instance, the pictures show these pretty violet petaled tea cups and matching plates. This pairing was dainty and perfect for a tea party happening under pink veils. But then the sugar cubes came in a hedgehog shaped holder which was just as precious as seeing a piglet in a carriage built for one. Then the cream carrier was in the shape of a milk carton. I wondered where the missing child portrait was? The pastry plate was in the shape of a tropical flower like the ones scattered all over Hawaii. It belonged in a beautiful lei. Each of these elements was cute in its own delicate and whimsical way but together they made an eclectic hodgepodge, not a coherent tea set. And in this asymmetry laid the glitter of their error. The host also brought these clip on dainty hats that were perfect touches for make believe tea party. He carried them around in their original packing, including the box they came in. Not exactly the tailor of the queen, offering hats to the villagers as a gift from her to them, but still the effort magnified the moment. The tea food was the worst stumble that Red took as she was being chased by the Wicked Wolf. To begin with the end analysis, the tea offerings in general were standard, and not bites fit for a princess and her wedding court. For instance, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich was just that---- a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. I detected no effort to make it more than that. The blueberry scone was solid, nothing to skip through a meadow about. But once you added the jam of the table to the scone it was much easier to enjoy. I also had a madeline that was fluffy in the center but could have been purchased maybe at Costco. I had a Macaron and same thing, delicious but I have had something similar before and I suspected that it did not come from a place afloat with Parisian affairs. The best part of the tiers was this puff like thing that had like a Concha texture and design at the top. It was a sweet filled bite that was fit for a man made of muffin.

I was really excited to visit this bar--I've always been a huge fan of fairy tales and thought the…read moretheme was such a fun concept for a bar. When we got there, I felt that the decorations and drinks felt a bit gimmicky, with random fairy tale-esque elements like a throne and massive red roses. I thought it would have been very cool to see Easter eggs and more intentionality bringing the atmosphere together. Since it was an hour before closing, we didn't plan to stay very long. The two people working at the bar were both unwelcoming and seemed upset that we were there (there were other people at the bar, including people who arrived later in the night than us). We paid for our drinks, which cost over $40 for 2 drinks with tip. My cocktail was $17 and came in a glass barely bigger than a shot glass. We left around the time they were calling for last call. I can understand not wanting stragglers who prevent the bartenders from closing late, but I would have much preferred being turned away at the door rather than paying and tipping for an overall unpleasant experience.
