How exciting we have a Spanish restaurant in north San Diego! The place is beautifully decorated, airy and open. It can get really loud as people gather to drink and eat. The food was really authentic. The Spanish albondigas were tender and flavorful. Lobster Paella was the star of the show. Seafood and rice were perfectly cooked. Loved the flavor profile and the lemon and garlic aioli enhanced the dish. Portions were generous. The wait staff team (Victor and Tony and team) were attentive, made recommendations and were friendly. The manager was also on the floor and checked in on us.

Anniversary dinner win! Friends brought us here to celebrate our anniversary. Fair warning: the location's a bit confusing to get to. Once you're in though, you get solid food and solid service. They even gave us a small cake with a candle for our celebration. Bonus: Kid approved We'll be back. P.S: Mall parking

I visited this location for a friend's event and was part of a large party. The parking is very difficult. The ambiance is nice and open. We got a flight of differwnt flavor margaritas and the drinks were not strong at all. The food was not good and the prices were high. We ordered the grilled octopus and ahi tacos for appetizer. For entree, we had the pan of rice with seafood on top. The portion of seafood was so small for the large party. It was ridiculous. The service was terrible. This is definitely not a place to celebrate anything.

It's been awhile since we had this visit. But I remember really enjoying it. I had been to the one in Los Angeles. Which was good. But this experience surpassed that for sure. My fiancé and I came on Valentine's Day, on a whim, on our way to a show. Not knowing how crazy and packed the place would actually be. We went up to the hostess and explained the situation, and at first it was an "impossible." But the hostess or manager (I think her name was Mariate or something similar), somehow made it work. There was a table next door to the entrance, that I'm assuming they didn't really use because of placement. But she was able to seat us there at the perfect time. Super grateful for that! Our waiter, I think Alvaro, was really nice. He explained the menu and had different recommendations. We got a few speciality cocktails. And tried the Sangria flight (my personal fave, must try them all!) I got the spicy tuna tacos and garlic shrimp plate. My fiancé is vegan, so I'm not sure what he got but I remember he really liked it! The decor inside is beautiful. The location is great. All the staff was kind. And I love that you can see the kitchen and everything being cooked from inside the dining room! It's pricier for tapas, but authentic and perfect for a nice night out. Would definitely go back!

Ambiance: it's a trendy Spanish style restaurant located at 2nd & PCH shopping center, there's large patio facing the harbor and spacious indoor dining as well, comfortable sofa seats, stylish decorations, clean restroom Service: very friendly and attentively refilled water, food was served fairly fast, although it took a long white to get the bill as they seem understaffed Food & Drink: standard Telefèric menu HAM CROQUETAS - *** Croquetas with Iberian ham and aioli, crispy and creamy PATATAS BRAVAS - *** Crispy potatoes topped with Brava sauce and aioli, bold flavors WAGYU EMPANADAS - *** Braised oxtail empanadas, beef tartar and Manchego, beautiful presentation, tasted just fine TUNA TACOS - **** Marinated ahi tuna, mashed avocado and wonton shells, fresh and crunchy, recommend BARCELONETA SANGRIA - **** Sparkling wine, lemonade, prickly pear, honey, rosemary orange, mixed berries, fruity refreshing taste, recommend SPICY SANGRIA - **** White wine blend, serrano Vodka, Triple Sec and lime, unique spicy taste, recommend Price: tapas food in small portions, and expect $40~$50 per person for bites and drinks

What a gorgeous idea to spend a late lunch at Teleferic. We were just thinking of getting Chai latte nearby on this day but I needed more, like a snack, so here we are. Husband and I chose the following tapas: Crab croquetas - served piping hot with a delicately sliced tuna sashimi. Spicy aioli. Love the tender crunch of the croqueta and the rawness of tuna in one bite, those two complemented well. (2 count) Jamón Ibérico de Bellota - 38 month cured. Acorn fed. Lovely presentation and garnished with a simple sprig of rosemary. Mild in taste, perfect with cheese and pan. Pan con Tomate - toasted and dressed with tomato and chives. (4 count) this completed our entire meal. Salmon Tartare - marinated with citrus, on tostada, avocado mayo, radish. 2 count. Manchego plate - not on the menu. Cheese, pistachios, blueberries. (8 slices) great with jamon. His drink - Catalan g+t - Bombay Premiere Cru gin, rosemary, juniper, tonic. Dry, bittersweet Her drink- Ibiza g+t - butterfly pea tea-infused gin, kaffir, orange peel, tonic. aromatic and botanicals. Love. This snack was packed with protein. It fulfilled our appetite for the rest of the day, believe it or not. Just the right about of carbs too. We enjoyed every bite. Service was friendly and super thorough. Our water glass was always filled. Music streaming was chill beats and sets the mood for some good r + r. Thank you for your taste in music. We have visited several times prior, therefore this review was long overdue. Come and enjoy! Salud!

Came here for my birthday and had an amazing experience! We specifically came here for the Parrón, paella, and the La Flaca bubble drink, and everything was delicious. The food was fantastic, and the service was just as good. One thing that stood out was chatting with the hostess, who had actually moved here from Spain for the job. It added an authentic touch to the experience. The harbor views are beautiful, I was also pleasantly surprised to find out they're dog friendly! To top it all off, the staff surprised me with a birthday dessert and candle, which made the evening feel extra special.

Visited for the first time during Social Hour. Free parking on the street. Friendly and welcoming service. Highly recommend ordering drinks from the Social Hour (comes with a complimentary tapa and ordering from the Barcelona Lunch Menu (ends at 5pm) for $28 (Starter + Main Course) or $34 (Starter + Main Course + 1 dessert). Drinks: La Flaca: if you like Mezcal, you should definitely order this drink! Estrella Damm: ordinary beer, nothing exquisite Complimentary Tapa with Social Hour drinks: Patatas Brava (smoky flavors and yummy) First order: Burrata Bowl (fresh and flavorful) Prime Wellington (great flavors, but a bit too salty) Churros (great texture with hazelnut filling, a bit too much sugar on the churros) Second order: Bruselar (roasted brussels sprouts with Finley shredded cheese was delicious) Grilled Salmon (smoky flavors, needed some acidity) Torrija (yummy French toast type of dessert, not too sweet)

The bar staff was friendly attentive and made great suggestions on food and drink drinks. We also really enjoyed chat and found out most of the management. Staff is from Spain. The restaurant is lively, but not too loud. A girl conversation can still be had. They really enjoyed the food. The octopus was tender, the meatball and the sauce. We're ready to bathe in it. The ham croquettes order a dozen, two coquette only what's the appetite for more. Welcome come back for more little tapas!

Really love Teleferic! Beautiful ambiance, lots of parking out front, staff is very friendly. Food is terrific! Lots of small dishes to share and choose from. The paella is amazing. And the drinks are fire-really good mocktails too! We love bringing guests from out of town here.

I went here with my bestie to celebrate my birthday and I'm so glad we did! The location is amazing, beautiful decor, ambiance is great. I love the architecture and furniture. The food is amazing, we went here for lunch and they have a special Monday to Friday which includes a starter, entree, and dessert. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. All the dishes were fantastic. Natalia our server is amazing! She was very professional, friendly, helpful, and tentative. We went with her recommendations and we are glad we did because every single dish was delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend this spot. My new favorite restaurant.

    Elisa G.

I'm soooo disappointed they changed their paella formula and you actually have to request the rice to be well done instead of having it come out that way. I thought the rice tasted fishier than the shrimp. Our waiter is nice and he agreed with me so he gets all 4 stars. The salmon tartare appetizer is bland but I still ate it

    Is this family friendly?

Yes, while the food can be creative they will happily host your kids.

Is parking available for mobility challenged customers?

Parking structure has parking spaces, however it won’t be right in front of the restaurant. Best thing to do is park in a meter parking space in front of the restaurant to drop off and one person can park at the structure or across the street.

Do they have a corkage fee?

    Yes they do

    Is their patio dog friendly?

During my dining experience yesterday there were a couple dogs inside the restaurant

We got married at Old Ranch Country Club 7 years ago, and it was truly an unforgettable experience . From start to finish, everything turned out beautifully. Planning & Communication: The planner we worked with was excellent -- super responsive, organized, and easy to communicate with . Planning a wedding with around 300 guests can be overwhelming, but they handled everything so smoothly and professionally, which made the entire process feel much less stressful. Scenery & Setting: The gazebo overlooking the golf course was absolutely stunning . It made for the most romantic ceremony setting and incredible photos. The lush greenery and open views gave such an elegant, serene vibe -- we were in love the moment we saw it . Food & Reception: The food was delicious -- and feeding 300 people is no small task! Everything was well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even years later, guests still tell us how much they loved the food . Pricing: This is definitely a higher-end venue, but you get what you pay for. Wedding packages typically range from around $10,000 and up, with per-person costs often around $200+, depending on guest count, menu, and upgrades. Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden is a peaceful hidden gem tucked inside California State…read moreUniversity, Long Beach. I walked into a space that is smaller than some larger Japanese gardens, but the layout feels carefully planned with winding paths, traditional landscaping, a koi pond, waterfalls, bridges, and quiet corners throughout. It is the type of place where taking your time matters more than trying to see everything quickly, and the smaller size actually makes the experience feel more intimate. The garden feels like a world apart from the campus surrounding it, and the transition from the university grounds to the garden is immediate and effective. The koi pond is easily the centerpiece of the garden and one of the most enjoyable parts to spend time around. I found myself lingering by the water, watching the fish move through the pond as the sunlight filtered through the trees. The fish are large and active, and the surrounding greenery, stone features, and water elements create a very relaxing atmosphere. The garden does a good job balancing natural scenery with traditional Japanese design, with each section offering a slightly different view and feeling as I walked through. The bridges and stone lanterns add to the sense of place, and the sound of the waterfalls creates a calming background that stays with you as you move through the space. What I liked most about this garden is how calm it feels despite being located on a college campus. It feels separated from the surrounding area once you enter, making it a nice place for a quiet walk, photography, or just taking a break. The landscaping is well maintained, and the entire space has a slower pace that encourages you to actually stop and appreciate the details rather than rushing through. The garden's design rewards a slow approach, with each turn in the path offering a slightly different perspective on the pond, the plants, and the stonework. The visit is fairly quick since the garden is compact, but it works well as a relaxing stop rather than a destination that takes up an entire afternoon. Reservations are required, so it is worth checking availability before going. Admission is free, although parking is an extra cost and can be the main inconvenience, especially during busy campus hours. The garden's location on campus makes it accessible, but the parking situation can require a bit of patience. Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden is a beautiful spot if you are looking for a peaceful escape rather than a large attraction. The koi pond, thoughtful design, and quiet atmosphere make it a place worth visiting, especially on a nice day when you can take your time walking through the garden. It offers a brief but meaningful pause from the surrounding city and campus life, and the care that has gone into maintaining the space is evident in every corner.
