Wow!! A little hidden gem in the Zafaria district of LB. Really great customer service - right as I walked in the owner greeted me and offered a sample of juice. I ordered the green açaí bowl with plant (pea-based) protein powder. Their protein powder has a lot of protein for a plant-based source, 27g per scoop!! The açaí was very flavorful and super fresh. No chalky taste that can sometimes happen with plant based protein powders. The fruit on top was incredibly fresh as well. I asked for light granola and they delivered. I will 100% be back since this shop is walking distance from my fiancé's house. As an RD i really love finding healthy places in long beach to eat at, and this definitely delivered. It had been so long since I've had a Vida Juice fix. I used to come here all the time when I lived closer. As soon as I drank my leafy green smoothie and had a bite of the chicken mole empanada, dipped in guac, I was reminded of how yummy their food is. The leafy green smoothie is unique with a blend of mint and citrus juice. It's my absolute favorite green smoothie of all time. The chicken empanadas with guac hit all the right flavor profiles and I haven't seen any other shop create this yummy dish. I've also had the curry Mac salad which has a little kick to it and fresh turmeric flavor. Lot's of options from sandwiches, drinks, salads and açaí bowls. Everything here is fresh and delicious. Love the mint in it which gives it a refreshing taste but nice overall sweetness & so smooth in texture. So many other great choices if you're looking for a healthy lunch too.
