The food here was okay, a bit expensive for the quality however, the service here was AMAZING which is why I rated 4 stars! Susannah was fantastic! She was super nice, funny, attentive, and fast, she made our experience great! if you come here I definitely recommend asking for her, if you'd like a good experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was nice a lot of tables and TVs to watch any games happening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Full bar as well. This area is pretty busy so parking may be a bit hard to find, but there is definitely a lot to do around the area making it a fun place to go! Come here for a good time!

Amazing service! Very attentive even during happy hour. I got the cactus cooler, beach blonde beer, the Pizza pepes, tinga taco, ahí poke tostada & the simzy's wings. All was delicious & I always leave feeling good and satisfied. Thank you simzy's for having the best happy hour menu & for providing amazing service.

Highly recommend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This time we went for Happy Hour with our pooch and sat on the outside patio overlooking 2nd St.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their prices are excellent and food and drinks are delicious. Service is spotty, but friendly. Parking is on the street or lots behind the street. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was packed at 5 pm on a Wednesday and that tells you how popular it is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Delicious as always! You can't leave here without trying their famous 15 minute wings. It's the reason my family and I keep coming back. The sauce on the wings is so flavorful, we always ask for more sauce on the side. Very crispy and one basket isn't enough! The nachos were really good and filling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is very beautiful and the big windows make the place feel very open and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, 10/10 I'm coming back for them wings!

Super happy they have a happy hour now. Great pricing and options. Service is outstanding. Tinga taco had a bit too much juice which made the taco a little mushy Wife loves the chimichanga.

LONG BEACH California! Quick lunch stop and all I can say is it did not disappoint, not only does this restaurant offer so many options which was very hard to choose from because everything sounded so good. The service was absolutely amazing. I ordered one of their pizzas the mushroom pizza to be exact and I added pepperoni and well I say this was one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. I would definitely order it again. It is a nice size. It is filling two slices had me satisfied and was able to take the rest home for my drink. We ordered the cactus cooler which was very refreshing and prepped just right no dull taste or bitterness, but got the job done the ambience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love how it had seating inside and out very spacious for the most part in clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely go back and if you Long Beach California I recommend you stop by and give it a try. They do offer happy hour and another special specials.

Came in on a quiet Tuesday night a couple hours before closing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has a cute, cozy vibe and the staff were nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, the menus were super wet and the food was mediocre. Granted, it seems they specialize in pizza and burgers but their chicken sandwiches were meh. The Korean chicken sandwich kinda tasted like a spicy buffalo chicken sandwich which was a little disappointed. The simmzys fries were a bit too salty and the sweet potato fries came out cold. They also did last call at 9:45 so beware if you try to come last minute.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great relaxed place to go for snacks and beers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Puppy friendly so bring your best bud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We love the blue cheese haystack - yes I'm not a blue cheese lover and I still loved it. Wouldn't mind trying the half and half next time.

Came in for a salad and fries, highly recommend the garlic aioli. Their drinks are great... the painkiller will definitely cure any pain you're having. Our server was Bella and she was incredibly attentive and welcoming. She had a great demeanor and was very helpful with recommendations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was a bit crowded during Happy Hour, but that is to be expected.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Saw the Summer Stroll & Savor walking out, I can't wait to see what they do!

Came for Taco Tuesday/Happy Hour and had Bailey as the waitress. She did a fine job with the order. The MSG and Bacon Date pizzas were balanced and had delicious, crispy crusts.

The happy hour menu here was absolutely wonderful!!! I love a good happy hour and Simmzy's did not disappoint. The drinks were priced right and the food was really tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat inside but at a table right by the open air full windows so got a nice breeze while we ate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The night we went it seemed like there were only a couple employees responsible for serving the whole dinning area but they KILLED it! My cousin and I were shocked at how well they worked together and handled the amount of people inside while giving great service. Very nice chill price and the happy hour menu is perfect for the times.

Another great restaurant on second street. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Always filled with guest and has a great vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Quick service and we ordered from the bartender to go. We got the brusselsprouts, wings and a salmon Sando. The food was not super great and a bit too expensive for what you get. Next time I will probably go during happy hour. I am absolutely going to go again and try their tacos and pizza and will hopefully like that better.

I haven't been to Simmzy's in a while. I was looking forward to the Arugula Salad Foldover pizza and it didn't disappoint. One of my favorites. The Hubs had the Poke Tostada. Sis had the Tinga Tacos and Bro-in-law had the Buffalo Chicken pizza. The food rocked! Service was a little slow but that's because the place was packed for happy hour. From 3-6pm you get the best prices for all of these menu items. They got rid of the communal tables. The windows were open giving the place an open air feel. They serve craft beer. I like the blonde. Lots of different brews to chose from. Give Simmzy's on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore. The HB location doesn't serve the Arugula Foldover. Just FYI. They have a slightly different menu. That's OC for you.

Where is the best spot to park (e.g. 2nd St.)? I am not familiar with the area and it will be awesome to know the cross streets that will be best to park (e.g. street side or parking areas).

Residential street parking on sides streets or meters on 2nd St are common grounds for parking. Also, small parking lots on side streets.

Are there any keto options here?

Yes, Chicken salad, several other options may have to improvise a little...burger, don't eat the bun...

Are the aioli and dressing vegan on your beyond burger option?

No. They are not. The bun isn't either.

    Are dogs allowed?

    Yes

    When are they re-opening?

    June 30th

    Is there any gluten-free options?

Savanah: Since they make pizza in their kitchen and have burger buns and such, if you have an extreme gluten sensitivity, I'd say no, they don't, but I know they have salads and you can order the brussels sprouts without the toast on the bottom.…

Any gluten free vegan pizza options?

    Yes on request

Do they have a happy hour?

Simmzy's does NOT have a happy hour, but I can say from experience that every hour is happy there! Prices are reasonable, so you should go!

This place popped up, and it was happy hour. So we thought why not. We got lucky and found parking close (rare for that street). And walked over and immediately loved the vibe. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. It felt like we were in an old industrial building. We were surprised that it was pretty empty when we got up there. We sat at the bar, and love the decor upstairs too. There's a view of the street from up there as well that's beautiful. The bartender greeted us fairly quickly, and we each ordered a speciality cocktail on their happy hour. Both were delicious. I will say that the prices are a bit steep for me. Very glad we came during the happy hour. But really want to return to try the food and more drinks. Maybe on a special date night out!

For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. We ended the dining experience with their Peach Cobbler Hand Pie, which came with streusel, pistachio crumble, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!

Trying several items on the menu provided us a nice sampling of what they have to offer. We enjoyed everything we ordered. My favorite was probably the Brussel sprouts as they were cooked to perfection and not sweet like most restaurants serve them. A close 2nd was the chicken parmesan served over zucchini noodles. The final item ordered was a mushroom pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic with a light char and perfect flavoring. The pasta was good. It was a bit to spicy for me with the chili oil so I only had a small portion. The inside is simple yet inviting with an open layout. They seemed a bit short staffed, but every one was hustling and honestly we were well taken care of. It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.
