Our go to spot for great burgers! Vegan burger is so good. When we think burgers, we come here. Think the Win-dow but with more options. Love that they have tons of vegan options. Also have hot dogs, fries and tots. Ambiance: decor is cool. It's next to the Stache bar, so you can order here and have a drink there. Service: great Parking: street, it's busy

Solid burgers!! This place is so cute and hidden on the corner. We got two burgers, onion rings, and fries. Burgers were delicious. The onion rings were really really good and crispy. The fries were also really good. Loved our meal and would definitely be back!!

Came here to try their burgers and tots with my friend. We got take out and I was so disappointed to get home and saw that they messed up on my order! We had asked for tater tots and they gave us fries... as for the burger, we got the Works which came with beer battered portobello mushrooms. However, there were only probably 2 pieces in our burger :( I really wanted to like this place. Maybe it was a busy Friday night. Not sure.

I got this burger and it looked good but it was GROSS and tasteless this place seems like a spot to take pictures of the food then to actually enjoy it. Service was pretty good though, and it came out fast.(go to in n out)

The reviews led me here so I have to write one because they just didn't seem accurate. The food was not good. Bland and weird tasting. Location was sketchy, which I'm willing to overlook if the food was decent but it wasn't. I got the Mushroom Swiss. Mushrooms were ok but everything else, the meat, bread, and weird sauce was lacking good flavor. My friends didn't care for their food either. Inside the restaurant was dirty. Table was wet and not clean. I honestly thought I was on kitchen nightmares, and the seating area made me fear the cleanliness of the back. But I stayed because of the positive reviews... which were wrong. They are connected to a bar so the music coming over was good, so there's a positive. And the people that work there seem super nice which makes me not want to leave a bad review... but I don't think people should waste their money.. ** I'll change to a 2 for responding and for being correct that I could have asked them to remake it... I feel for you being a small business but it was not clean and I didn't really trust the remake.

Stopped at this little spot right connected to a bar and was real excited. Got me a burger and some tater tots. The burger had like 6,000,000 ingredients which I don't mind but it was just falling all over the place. The ingredients were generic, all tasted like store bought ones. The patty wasn't quality either. The tater tots were decent, a little too crunchy but nothing to ride home about. Burger 6.9 Tots: 6.8

I visited this restaurant since my friend and I were looking for a cheap dinner option with good vegan options in the Long Beach area. I ordered the poutine burger with a 1/2 order of onion rings and it was good. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and charred which I liked. However, the sandwich was a bit too carby with the bready buns and the fries. The fries were also not crispy. The onion rings were solid. They were golden and crispy and paired well with the fresh side ranch sauce. However, this whole meal was oily, greasy, and fatty. There was a pool of liquids at the bottom of my basket which I wasn't a big fan of. However, the big portion sizes were good relative to price. I left not feeling the greatest and wanting a salad. If you're into food like this, it's a solid option though. Driving and parking in the area was a bit sketchy. It is also only street parking I believe. Walking-in the restaurant, the interior wasn't the nicest. It didn't seem very well maintained and there was thick smoke that filled the air and the surfaces were sticky from the menus to the tables. The service was really good though. The servers seemed super nice and gave us recommendations upon request. Overall, a decent experience here. I'd say the biggest thing going for it is having solid vegan options, but I would recommend improving food quality and restaurant cleanliness.

Pretty empty on a Sunday but it was a bit of a wait to order as well as get our food. We were starving, so I'm happy they gave us the onion rings first. Parking is street parking so should arrive early to look for a spot. Our order: Onion rings - soo very crispy and the ranch is so good. A bit on the oily side though. My favorite of all that we ordered Chili cheese fries - good but just needs meat. Was all beans Hotdog - very beautifully dressed and also delicious. Just wish it was bigger! Italian stallion burger - love the pesto sauce. Not too heavy Hill Burger - lots of meat. Basically all meat. I didn't love it but my bf did Restroom is available in their bar side which is accessible next door. The

Located at Long Beach where parking could be a bit tougher to find. We were able to find parking on the streets about a block away. I'm a bit generous with the rating, since the burger was decent but it's not a place I would go often. It's kind of a place where people who love those comfort heavy, greasy, cheesy, indulgent food spots. I can see the appeal, but it's not for me. The burgers are very filling and had a good amount of flavor, though I do wish the patties were juicier or crispier- but it's a smash burgers so I shouldn't expect the same quality as how I grill for myself at home with my personal preference. The place was a bit hot, and it didn't feel like the A/C was really on. The restroom is through a connected bar next door. It's a small spot with only 2-3 people working, so service was on the slower side but the lady helping us was very friendly. The Works- I enjoyed this the most from being the most simple with the added crispy beer-battered portobello mushroom. I love burgers with lettuce and tomatoes with onions. However, American cheese wasn't melted and the whole thing was messy to eat. Hulk Smash- huge burger with 3 patties, with bacon- good if you are hungry and want protein Italian Stallion- A lot of pesto flavoring, reminds me more of an Italian sandwich that's overly herby for a burger. Smash Cristo- completely battered and deep fried, with honey and powdered sugar. I didn't try it myself since it looked extremely heavy and oily, which just isn't for me since I'm prioritizing health. But if you're into fried foods and cheesiness, it could be right up your alley. Chili Cheese Fries- taste decent with crispy fries Onion Rings- beer battered and crispy. extremely oily but it's yummy! the sauce included with it was so good! Chicago Dog- small sausage with a lot of toppings (relish, tomato, onions, pickle, mustard). Was standard and OK. They also have many vegan options and a selection of beers/soda in the fridge to grab yourself.

So I was really in the mood for a smashed burger and wanted to try something new. So thanks to other Yelp reviews, i drove down to Long Beach and tried Sideburns out! Parking can be stressful depending on what day/time. I was able to find parking on Zona Court, but kept watching my car. They are a block off Alamitos on 4th. Not the greatest block, but it was an awesome burger! The bun was soft, I did a regular Smashed Cheese Burger with the caramelized onions and their sauce. Bro behind the counter asked if I wanted lettuce and tomatoes - but wanted mine plain. Juicy burger, crispy edges, but it wasn't smashed as much as I would have liked. My patty was cooked medium to med rare (perfect) and seasoned well. Bread to patty ratio was good. I also ordered the onion rings. Nice thick and thin slices of onion dipped in an IPA batter that wasn't heavy and held onto the onion well. This was crispy, light and just a hint of heat (imho) in the batter - perfect. Next time I'm ordering a full order of onion rings! They had a selection of beers and sodas in the fridge - but if you want more, go next door to the bar and you can order food! The inside was a bit dark, it was at sunset so they may not turned on the lights yet. I'm a bigger dude and they only have booth seating here that was a bit snug. Stop by here for lunch or late night as they close pretty late.plenty of other items I need to try next. OH, and they have Vegan options too!!

Vegan review First of all affordable, flavorful vegan food is amazing. Would recommend the chili cheese fries and burger It was amazing that was connected to a karaoke bar so we had a great time. We went next door and enjoyed karaoke. They will bring the food to you in the bar and you can have a really wonderful night. The stuff was attentive and kind. I will return

Sideburns has some great burger toppings. I stopped in for lunch and had a hard time deciding which one to try. I asked for a suggestion and the person taking my order recommended the poutine burger so that's what I had. This was a tasty burger! I will be back to try the other burgers.

Tasty burgers but the area is sketch. Enjoyed the burgers here! The portions are generous and will definitely leave you feeling satisfied. I wish the patties were a touch more juicy but overall the burger tasted great. Onion rings were super crispy too! I'd recommend ordering to go as the area is not so great. There were several individuals surveying our car leaving us feeling stressed so we ended up ordering to go.

I ordered the potato taco which had a fabulous crunch and a perfectly delicious chipotle ( ? ) dipping sauce on the side. The taco itself wasn't very flavorful but I think it's perfectly fine because the sauce carries more than enough. I also ordered the vegan fried chicken and I was so intrigued by the flavor. They had a notable buttery taste to them which was rich and pleasant. I believe they were coated with a cornflake cereal which gave them a proper crunch. The hibiscus drink was a tad thicker than I expected and wished it had a more balanced flavor ( sweetness : tartness ), but it wasn't a bad drink by any means. Definitely one to drink cold. When I entered there were already 3 other groups seated. I didn't realize until after I ordered at the kiosk (there is no wait staff) that no one had any food. We ordered the Caesar salad & wrap as well as fries and a cookie. It took about 30 to 40 minutes for the first salad to arrive and about 15 minutes after that for the wrap which was made with ingredients we had asked to omit. Weirdly, the wrap came with avocado slices on the side instead of inside of the wrap which was very strange. The French fries came a few minutes after the wrap and they had the consistency of a wet noodle covered in oil with little to no seasoning. The salad and wrap were OK taste-wise but I could have easily made a better salad at home. The fried chicken that comes with it was mushy and served cold. The cookie was fine, good large size and a lot of chocolate chips which was nice. But again, I could have made myself a better cookie at home. Ultimately I'd rather have saved the money and stayed home.

Firstly, since it's all plant-based, I was able to eat literally anything off the menu, which is always delightful. Started the meal with a Tricolore Salad and the Pizza Montanara for appetizers. The Salad was good, best when you can get a bit of every ingredient in each bite. The Pizza Montanara was hotter than magma when we received it, but once it cooled and we were able to tear it into pieces, it was very, very good. These two items themselves would be a great light meal. We had glasses of red wine with the main course, which paired well with the pastas we chose. One Vesuvio, which was really tasty with a little chili heat (not so much so that it made eating it a rough job,) and another pasta dish that I can't recall the name of that was very lemony and cooling. We both shared these dishes and the alternating between the two very different flavor profiles was really fun. The online menu doesn't have these pastas listed in the "Dinner" section, but the in-store menu did. The only thing that was kind of a bummer was that they were out of things like meatballs, olives, and a couple other items, but we were still able to choose dishes that were delicious. The restaurant's vibe is very laidback and like, elevated casual, if that makes sense. They have great little water glasses and everything has a modern feel, from the green decor accents to the fancy pasta forks, which are the first of their kind I've ever seen. The bathroom had a bidet, which was my first experience with the same, and it was cool and fun. Thorough! I laughed at the sticker on the bidet saying it WILL spray you in the face. All in all, this was a fantastic experience. Definitely be patient with finding parking, as we all know how 4th Street is. This will likely become a favorite celebration meal destination.

By all means not here to sh*t on the business because we still want to come here to support them. However, last Saturday I believe was the 5/23/26, they had an event and an artist guest came and performed for the guests. It was nice, but it was also very packed in there with people out the door. We snuck through the back just to get in, people standing and blocking traffic because there was no room and space. We had to wait in a small crammed isle area towards the bathroom. It took awhile for our simple togo order to get done--which was also mistakenly given to someone else. They couldn't figure out simple logistics. There were also others who got wrong orders while we stood there waiting. They had to re-make people's pizzas while the pizza had to be given away for free because it had already been touched. My gripe is that in the future, if you're having an event, (maybe they do this here all the time), please have a floor manager to alleviate the crowd and simple operations and logistics to handle the lines, the crowd control, and providing fast and accurate service. Not just making the food right, but with time, and a comfortable environment. They could have made it more. It was so busy, that they either looked to be short-staffed or got confused on a lot of their orders. In short, in the future their manager should do better in operations and executing the the transactions to flow more smoothly. If you're having a guest performer, find a way to also make that work better. Maybe make people not block the pathways, more chairs or seating outside, have a bigger venue or open some areas to fit better..maybe they like this intimate atmosphere but it did not work for half of the guests there just trying to get in and out. This review is not to burn the spot but to encourage them do better in the future. This is just to help them understand and hopefully this helps to provide constructive feedback..because I know the owner here reads a lot of these comments..
