Victory Shawarma, I love and miss you. A little backstory. This truck kept being mentioned, it then kept appearing on Uber eats, then I'd see it randomly. It haunted me. Eventually I made it down to Ocean during business hours and it was heavenly. The garlic cheesy pita thing with chicken? My god. The garlic fries?! Throw the victory sauce all over it and you won't forget it. Dare I say... It tastes an awful lot like Kafe Neo which immediately hits home on nostalgia. *sighs* The customer service has always been on point. The owner is a total sweetheart. I could smell the yummy garlic pita being prepared and my stomach rumbled. The owner is such a sweetheart and offered us a sample of her fresh made Cinnamon Toast Crunch Rice Crispy. Seriously it was so good, my boyfriend and I loved it , thank you so much! The only thing I personally would love to see added to the menu would be a couple of sauces to choose from maybe a hot one and a garlicy one. Other than that this place is a great stop. This place was soooooo good. Kids and I had just come back from a long day at the aquarium and this truck was right by our hotel. Portions are absolutely massive for the price (just look at the fries!). The guy was really kind and helped me make decisions about the food. This is a food truck located outside the Westin Hotel. You can identify it from its Blue outside. I had already hit up some of the taco trucks in the area and wanted something different. Victory did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and we chatted a bit while the chef prepared everything fresh. I went with the chicken shawarma bowl with rice "the chef's way" which included all of the sauces in the same dish. It was spicy, delicious and huge! I probably would go with the smaller bowl next time as this was about 3 meals worth. If I'm in the area again I'll be back. read more

Let me just say I drove from the other side Of Long Beach to try this place because there were other 5 star reviews, so I was excited to try a new place even though I have a go-to spot in LB. I ordered the chicken Schwarma wrap and fries. I started eating the fries on my way home and could immediately tell that they were grainy and unedible. It was a 10 minute drive home and I was looking forward to trying the Shawarma immediately and as soon as I open the box, it was a soggy mess! Like why would you put so much HOT tomato in it because the tortilla was totally soggy and soaked through. And nothing is more disgusting than soggy lettuce! I tried the just eat the inside since the tortilla was soggy, and ironically the chicken is dry! I guess this place might be worth it if you are literally gonna eat it right at the truck, but I would caution to let them know no tomato. I was the only one at the food truck so I feel like he could've put more consideration into preparing my wrap .There are way better places in Long Beach if you are not in the area. read more

Got a chicken&beef over rice bowl on a late Thu evening. Very large portion (enough probably for 3 times). At home I've also added chopped cucumbers and onions for little veggie kick on the back of the loaded rice with meat. Meat is excellently marinated.
