I drove by this place a few times since it's right on a busy main street with a lot of traffic. I was actually surprised to find parking right in front, which was nice and convenient. When I walked in it was pretty quiet, but it was also right before dinner time. The place feels more like a casual deli spot -- you order at the counter and there are a few tables if you want to sit and eat. The space looked clean and simple, nothing fancy but comfortable enough. The employee working there was very friendly. He came out from the back, answered my questions, and recommended the chicken pesto panini, saying it's their most popular item. I also added a Caesar salad for $2.99, which I thought was a fair price, and decided to try the bread pudding as well. The panini itself was pretty good. The bread was nicely toasted, the cheese was melted well, and the pesto had good flavor. The only downside for me was the chicken -- it seemed like it might have been boiled and then mixed with pesto. It was a bit tougher than I would have liked. The Caesar salad was decent for the price. Unfortunately, the bread pudding didn't work for me. It was very dense and almost brick-like. Overall, the value is there and the staff was very nice. For me personally, the food felt a bit average. I tend to prefer paying a little more for higher quality rather than saving a few dollars on something that doesn't quite hit the mark. Literally the best Panini place in SoCal! I've never had a panini I haven't liked from here. I just ordered the turkey cranberry panini which tasted like Thanksgiving dinner. The juices are amazing and pair so well with the paninis; I order the Vampiro which is a beet juice concoction. This was my favorite lunch spot pre-Covid. I was finally back in the area 4 years later and had to stop by. They've updated the tables and added new items to their menu but the chicken pesto panini was still as delicious as it was 4 years ago and is my favorite panini spot. (There's a reason why Corner Bakery and Panera have closed so many locations!) Went extra and got the potato salad to go with it this time and it was some of the best potato salad I've ever had. Visited the shop for the first time and was planning on ordering a breakfast panini, but was pleasantly surprised to find they offered breakfast burritos. So I ended up ordering the breakfast burrito with bacon. Overall the burrito was very tasty and served super hot so I had to take my sweet time and not devour it like I usually do my breakfast burritos . The tortilla was pressed so it had a good crunch to it and the filling was piping hot and quantity wise wasn't too overwhelming nor skimpy either. The plate also came with a side of fresh fruit and fried potatoes which were so tasty and cooked to perfection. The shop itself was very clean and welcoming. The menu offerings were plenty and looked all so tasty. They had this bread pudding in the display case and is made in-house. I was tempted, but refrained...next time. I love their sandwiches. The bread is crispy and toasted and the size of the sandwiches are filling. I also have tried the vampiro drink which is beets and carrots and other very healthy ingredients. I will say it definitely does taste healthy so don't expect it to be super sweet but I like it. I like this spot for lunch during the weekdays. There are so many options at Panini's and I've yet to try some of their menu items but I would be a customer even if they ONLY sold their breakfast potatoes. I'm obsessed with how tasty they are! My mom dropped off a breakfast sandwich once and it was so delicious, it came with a side of their breakfast potatoes. I've been hooked since that one day. We stop by for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dessert. No matter the occasion they've always got something yummy to offer. One of my favorite things is their bread pudding. They sell out so you have to call and see if they have some, it's incredible and comes with a white sauce that compliments it very well. I think the prices are great, it's the common price point for California restaurants in 2024. They have some specials sometimes too. The customer service is always great, the staff are so friendly and work very fast to fulfill orders. Paninis is a small place so it gets filled up very fast but they work diligently. To my knowledge there is no parking and that major street it is on is very busy but usually you can find a quick spot right in front.
