    B07 so good and delicious

Love my B07 bowl. It is always delicious. I can't complain about the food or service. They are amazing. I only have one suggestion is to clean the sauce area more which is one at each table.

I was having a pho craving today so I decided to try Pho America for takeout. I ordered the rare steak pho and it was a good size and the meat was nice and tender. All the fixings came packed up in a bag with sauces and lime. I thought the flavor was good and definitely generous on the noodles. The inside of the restaurant wasn't anything fancy and could probably use a little more cleaning but some of the best pho places I've been to have been a little questionable haha. Next time I go I'll try the Eggrolls, Which surprisingly cost almost as much as the pho.

Inedible rare steak pho with a side of chicken.

Pho America had a BOGO deal for their rare steak pho on Ubereats so I knew I had to give this place a shot. I also ordered a few sides of chili oil as well as a side of chicken for myself. Once the order arrived, I re-heated my broth and was ready to dig in. After the first few bites I pushed my plate away and felt super underwhelmed with my dish. The broth was greasy and bland. The chicken was unappetizing and was nearly inedible as it consisted of mostly chewy tendons. My mom got the other soup that came with the promotion and she didn't eat her pho either as she said it didn't taste good. Overall, "you get what you pay for" has never made more sense to me. I personally wouldn't recommend Pho America to anyone.

Came here on a Sunday around 4pm. Was seated quickly. And order was taken quickly. Only thing it was kinda warm inside. Ordered the brisket pho it was a good size and broth was good. Got the Thai tea with boba. Boba was chewy and drink was sweet. The mango lemonade was great a mix of tangy and sweet. But refreshing. Al in all, everything came hot and in order so good to try out.

God Bless America & God Bless Pho America! If you want some good authentic Vietnamese pho, check out this place! I was hung over one day and what better way to cure a hangover? Pho! The broth is extremely delicious and authentic. I got a rare steak pho w/ meatballs, tendon, and flanks. What also impressed me the most was their tendons. Soft, delicious, and melts in your mouth. I got a regular size pho and should have gotten a big bowl, smh. Don't make the same mistake as I did and get yourself the biggest bowl they got. You won't regret it! Customer service is excellent and the reason I said that is because I order an ice tea and when I finished with the ice tea, the owner greeted and asked if I wanted a refill. I said please and got it togo without charge. The ambiance was nice! A great place to take someone out for pho.

We pass by here all the time when coming from Signal Hill/Bixby Knolls back to DTLB, but truth be told, the name kinda turned me off (reminded me of a mall food court 'Asian' fast food shop with non-Asian workers)...but nope, Pho America is the real deal....serving up a good, piping bowl of beef pho. They have their own dedicated parking lot (with lockable gates), and the standalone building has plenty of indoor seating. There were already quite a few people dining in, when I stopped by around 11 on a Monday. I noticed that there was quite a few take-out and delivery orders as well, so good sign for the freshness of the ingredients. I was led to my seat, and placed an order for the combination pho, size large ($15). The hostess/waitress was attentive, and brought out a glass of water with lemon pretty quickly, along with the pho accompaniments that everyone is accustomed (really fresh bean sprouts, thai basil, jalapeno slices, and two lime wedges). Everything was super fresh, obviously just washed and sprinkled with water to keep vibrant. Strangely, a lot of pho places around this hot bed of Pho restaurants, serve mediocre, browned herbs. Not here...this was great, and a good clue for the quality of the rest of the meal. The steaming bowl came out a bit after, delivered directly from the kitchen by someone else (probably the gentleman who put the dish together). The bowl wasn't overly large, and everything was submerged under the piping hot broth (except for the sliced white onions and cilantro floating)...noticed immediately that it was pretty oily (which usually isn't a good thing for me). Took my first sip, acknowledged that it didn't need any more sauce just some herbs and fresh lime juice which I added. Each table already has utensils at each table, including forks if that is what you need. The noodles were clumped at the bottom, but a couple of twirls with one chopstick, then letting it sit for about a minute or so, then I really dug in. And it really came together...none of the separate ingredients stood out individually, but together, it ended up making a really, really good bowl of pho. It came with the requisite meats (really enjoyed the fatty brisket, and small amount of tripe....the rare steak wasn't great, but the tendon and beef balls were solid). By the time I was finished with the noodle, I still had broth left so asked for an extra order of noodles ($3 or so)...which was soon delivered in its own broth. I devoured that too. I paid at the front...they take credit card but offer a small cash discount. In/out in 40 minutes...still a little hungry, but happy that I had been wrong about the name and could add another good pho place to my list of rotating noodle shops.

I ordered the veggie pho They do have veggie broth how ever it was bland. They only offer fried tofu and I didn't like the consistency of it... the food came out fast. Quick service. The ambiance made it seem authentic. For the 15 bucks I was disappointed.

One of my favorite Pho restaurants. Clean, with a pleasant atmosphere. Also, it's easy to get the servers attention, they are always looking around. I usually get veggie pho, but my favorite thing to order is the Beef Banh Mi sandwich ~ best I've ever had. Give it a try!

    Linda S.

Our soup wasn't hot. It took a long for our red meat to fully cook into our soup. I looked over the other table and their soups were steaming hot. I've been here before the pandemic and their food used to be great. The man who had an unpleasant behavior. I tried tipping 20%. The tip amount was set higher on his handheld POS system. When I changed it, he smacked his lips and got upset. I won't be returning.

I came here on a weekend night, and it was packed, but with minimal wait. Ever since I visited Cambodia, I have been craving the Cambodian-style fried calamari, so I made sure to get that as a starter. The calamari was perfectly fried with its light batter, and then the fish oil and salt/pepper seasonings were spot on. I also got their Boat Noodle, and that hit the spot. It was spicy and refreshing, and all the meats were so tender. The noodles were the right texture too. I am so hoping to visit more to try even more of their menu--definitely give Monorom a visit if you are in the area!

Everything was delicious - beef was well made and flavorful. Enjoyed it with some chili sauce. The broth was a nice addition - more of a mellow goodness vs the pop from the skewers and chili sauce. Every dish we've tried has been full of flavor and genuinely worth ordering. Surprisingly, compared to other Thai spots, it's usually not overly packed and honestly I'm almost scared to say that because I don't want it to change. The service has always been great, the food comes out quickly, and the portions/prices feel reasonable. So far, our favorites have been the pad see ew, tom yum soup (medium spice), egg fried rice, fried calamari and the beef BBQ which was so good we immediately ordered a second plate. The mango sticky rice is also really good, but the portion is on the smaller side, so we ended up getting two orders since one plate is hard to share with more than 2-3 people. Parking has been easy for us so far since there's both a parking lot and nearby street parking. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants that's officially in our regular rotation.

The restaurant itself is nice and clean, including the restrooms, which I always appreciate. The staff was very customer service oriented and did a great job making suggestions and giving tips about the menu and spice levels, which was super helpful. I started with the Money Bags, which are basically fried dumplings. Mine were a little overcooked, almost close to burnt. They still had decent flavor, but I'd personally rate them about a 2.9 out of 5. I also had the green papaya salad with mild spice, and the spice level was perfect, especially for people who are sensitive to heat. I usually stick around medium spice at Thai restaurants, but even the mild here still gives you a nice kick. For my drink, I got the Thai tea, which came topped with a Thai tea popsicle that slowly melted into the drink. Such a cute touch, creative, and tasty. For my entrée, I had the basil garlic sauce with sliced steak and a side of rice, which I really enjoyed. For dessert, we shared the mango sticky rice. It was good, but I do feel like it was a little overpriced for the portion size. Maybe part of that is because of the specialty rice they use that has the purple hue. I know a few places in Long Beach where you can get more for the same price. That said, the presentation was really cute with the flower garnish and everything looked beautiful. The atmosphere was nice. It has an open kitchen concept, so you can actually see the cooking happening, which adds to the experience. Seating is somewhat limited and the tables are fairly close together in certain sections, especially where the divider walls are, so you can definitely hear nearby conversations depending on where you sit. Great food, clean restaurant, and strong customer service. I'd definitely come back. Walk inside and--on this Saturday, January 3rd--it's still decorated for Christmas, which somehow adds to the cozy, unpretentious vibe. It's around 2:30 p.m. and the place is packed, which is always a great sign. We ordered the chicken pho with ginger sauce and the brisket & rare steak pho. You get the classic sides--lime, bean sprouts, basil--and we also added the crispy egg rolls, which came out hot and crunchy with a satisfying bite. The pho arrived piping hot, deeply aromatic, and comforting in that way only a well-made broth can be. They give you chopsticks for the noodles and a large spoon for the soup--exactly how it should be. The portions are generous, especially for the price. Around $12 gets you a big, steaming bowl that feels like a full meal, not a tease. The broth is clean, rich, and balanced--not greasy, not salty--perfect for a cold, rainy Long Beach day on the Cambodia side of town. I took my time with it, savoring all the layers of flavor, especially after adding sriracha and hoisin (which is absolutely the move here). The beef was tender, the rare steak cooked perfectly in the hot broth, and the noodles held up all the way through. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There's mellow, calming music playing in the background that makes the whole lunch experience feel peaceful and grounding--no rush, no noise chaos, just people enjoying good food. Come hungry. It is situated at the traffic circle in the recently renovated shopping center adjacent to the Sprouts supermarket and other small restaurants. According to Google, it is their only location. it is known for its pho, noodle dishes, and other comfort foods. Their menu is varied with Vietnamese, Cambodian & Thai specialties including dishes such as pho (with beef, chicken, vegetable), vermicelli noodle dishes, and fresh spring rolls. Their Thai options include Pad Thai, Pad See Iew, and Chicken Curry Vermicelli. For Vegetarian options, they offer vegetarian pho, tofu spring rolls, and other plant-based options. They also serve Pineapple Fried Rice, Phnom Penh Noodle, and various salads. (See photos for full menu) Today, i placed my order on their website. It is simple and intuitive. The menu is easy to read and offers customization options with quick apple pay checkout. The service is quick and friendly and my food was ready faster than the time allowed. By the time i received my text message telling me that my food was ready, i was already in my vehicle and on my way home. I got an order of spring rolls with shrimp. You get 3 large rolls.
