Wow! Came here on a whim while in town for a friend's art show, and I am so glad!! Best Tom Kha I've had in a long time. Our waitress was so kind and patient. She had to deal with a gentleman who was clearly in some sort of religious psychosis and he kept coming in to harass her and her male coworker, and felt so bad he was being so loud and weird while I was eating. But I didn't mind much, she stayed very classy and level headed and honestly I just hope that guy gets some help. The value for the food is amazing! I forget exactly how much it was but we ordered the bigger Tom Kha and it fed two people easily with some delicious leftovers to take home. The bill was only around 20 dollars iirc. 10/10 food, maybe not the best or safest location, but I like a good hole in the wall. read more

We thought we would give it a try - wow, what a great idea! After the food desert of Avalon, this place was hitting right. First off, the ambiance inside and out is nothing to get excited about. It's a small, older restaurant on a busy street. Don't be discouraged, the food is where it's at. We are a family of four vegetarians. We had yellow curry vegan, pad see yew vegan, and kung pao vegan. Unbelievable. Seriously, unbelievable. If we lived here in town, I'd eat here weekly. Service was great. read more

So my wife recommended this restaurant for dinner since she said she has been coming to for over 20 years. I'm not a fan of Thai food but took her word for it and was glad I did. The restaurant is a nice hole in the wall with a nice atmosphere. For drinks my wife got the Thai iced tea and I got the raspberry iced tea which was super fresh and had raspberries inside. The Thai iced tea was just the right amount of sweet compared to other Thai iced teas I've tasted. We got the coconut soup along with the beef salad and fried rice. The Tom yum noodles I ordered to-go via the phone were decent. Not the best I've had. I just have some feedback regarding everything else with this pick up experience. First time I called I think the call went to a full voicemail. I thought maybe I got the wrong number from yelp so I went to Google maps and called the number there. It rang a few times and then didn't go to voicemail - just hung up. I tried again and it rang once and then hung up. I tried one more time and finally someone picked up on the fourth try. It was a bit hard to understand her but I wasn't given the total price nor how much time it would take. I didn't realize it until she already hing up so I had to call back to ask and was told 15 mins. So I arrive in 15 mins and had to wait 15 more mins. When I got my order, I was surprised that everything, noodles and soup, were in the same plastic container. Won't the noodles get soggy? They don't know how long its gonna be until I eat it. The noodles really should be separated from the soup. So with all of that, and $16 gone, I give this place 3 stars. Maybe its a great experience if you dine in but I'll probably go elsewhere. read more

After our favorite Thai restaurant in Lomita closed, we thought we'd give this place a try. Big mistake! The food was terrible, overall, with small portions, sticky,dry noodles, and dried out meat in the garlic pork ribs (what little meat there was - mostly bone and fat). On top of all that, I was charged for a large soup I didn't receive. I seriously doubt that all those positive reviews are from real customers, unless they recently replaced the entire kitchen staff. Overpriced. I sent my boyfriend to go pick up food for us on his way home from work, and I wanted him to get beef pad thai, but not for $15. And it's $1 extra for meat. I told him just grab me a Thai Tea with boba, and they were out of boba. He decided to get an appetizer, the 8pc pork wontons, and I can't believe what they served him. THERE'S NO MEAT IN THERE! Tiny pieces of meat in each one, and the 8pc cost $10, so it's $1.25 per wonton. They might as well served him tortilla chips. Don't think we'll be returning. read more

My go-to Thai place that's nearby! The food is so flavorful, the service is great, they are always so nice when I go with my toddler.

The food here was just okay... there are definitely better Thai places in LBC. The portions are good and the prices are affordable though. If you are looking for good quality Thai, I would say this place isn't the greatest. The pad Thai was a bit too mushy and saucy...the flavors were just too sweet? Not enough spice.
