Spicy Wings Lunch (fried veggie dumplings not pictured)
    Jennifer L.

Stopped in after seeing a sign that said $15 lunch specials. It comes with a small appetizer, jasmine rice, entree, and a drink! They had quite a lot of options on their lunch specials which was nice I got the spicy wings with fried veggie dumplings. The wings were freshly fried with a thin batter that stayed crispy even with the generous amount of sauce. The sauce was sweet, savory, and tangy - very tasty. My partner liked his tofu yellow curry with fried tofu appetizer as well. We got the lychee iced tea and Thai tea for our drinks - both were excellent! Good value for what you get! It wasn't busy on a Monday, service was quick. Interior was cute, some natural lighting from the windows. Lots of seating available Would come back to try some of their other dishes!

I was staying close to the convention center and wanted Thai food for dinner. The Naree Thai Restaurant was recommended to me. It was about a 15 minute walk from a hotel by the convention center. The service was great and the server was very helpful in assisting me in choosing a drink. I ordered the Spice Thai, which I had never tried before. It was very good. I also ordered the Pad Thai. The portion was not huge, but it was enough food for me. I would recommend this restaurant if you are staying near the convention center and don't want to drive to a restaurant.

I have never had Thai food, but let me tell you I'm glad this was my first experience. So delicious! The panang Curry was soooooo bomb. The golden tofu was so huge ! && The sauce that went with it was so good. The waiter was nice && attentive. Even though we got there before closing. The place was so cute. Definitely gonna look for a similar place like this back home.

Great food and service! Calm and clean environment. Perfect for a Friday afternoon. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out fresh and beautifully presented.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great food and service in a casually elegant atmosphere. Not sure why we've never been here before, as we are such big Thai food fans, but perhaps an excuse is that the location isn't the most convenient for us. Since we were staying at The Breakers across the street, though, we were able to walk over. Some friends had given it very high marks so we were curious to try it. The ambiance is definitely more elevated than a majority of Thai restaurants one encounters, but it still felt comfortable. Our party of 5 had no problems getting a table on a Monday night. We ordered: - steamed veggie dumplings (perfectly steamed, with great flavor) - Massamun curry with tofu medium heat (delightfully peanutty) - pad kee mow with tofu (medium heat, perfect consistency of the noodles and veggies) - glass of rosé (crisp accompaniment to the dishes) - tom kha soup with veggies (wonderfully flavorful) We received excellent service throughout the meal and it didn't break the bank. A surprising hidden gem in plain sight.

Back for another visit in Long Beach. This night was pretty busy with pretty much the tables all utilized as well as people having dinner at the bar. We were able to get a table right when we walked in which was quite nice. The service was great as last and everyone was very friendly. A nice calm ambiance for a nice meal. Menu wise for both cocktails and dinner was great. It's a full menu so they pretty much have everything. Also a nice cocktail list that makes ordering pretty simple. Started off with a lychee martini which always is refreshing and goes down quite easily. And also had the detox delight which quite refreshing as well and the nice hint of cucumber reminds me of a cucumber martini. Dinner wise, we started off with the chicken satay served with peanut sauce and the pickle cucumber. Chunks of chicken was nice and tasty. Entrees, the chicken panang which you need to order a side or rice on the side. Sucks it doesn't come with the curry. The coconut sauce always makes it amazing but we asked for it spicy but it wasn't. And the tom yum noodle soup. Honestly it was good, but I've had better. It still was nice. I had it with the combination meat. Not much veggies to it except bean sprouts. We enjoyed our meal, cocktails were great. Service and staff were all amazing and very friendly. It's a nice go to Thai spot in Long Beach.

I came for lunch and got the spicy eggplant with medium spice. I like that they offer a lunch menu for $16 with a drink included. That is a great deal. The dish is very flavorful and is one of my favorites. The inside is very clean and inviting. The service is ok, sometimes it's hard to get the staff's attention for sauces or sugar packets.

Pad Thai Lunch - sadly bland :(

This used to be one of my favorite Thai spots but I don't know what's happened the past few times. Maybe a switch in chef? I was extremely disappointed by my take-out Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Pad see ew was slightly better than the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was so bland, dry and had zero color. It used to be so flavorful and my go to order. The tofu in the pad see ew was like it came straight out of the package and wasn't sautéed in with the noodles. At least the Thai tea still tastes fine. Sad to say that I won't be returning to this place

All dishes ordered were savoring in flavors. The waitress was very knowledgeable with the menu, she took our order without writing it down. The dishes came out fast. I will definitely come back.

I would visit again. It was easy to locate, very clean. All the food came to the table HOT, that was my favorite thing. The waitress was really great she was clear and concise. The spicy wings were not good to ME. They were just fried and covered in a non spicy sauce.

This place was delicious! I was throughly surprised as we came on a Friday night and there were only a few people there. The service was quick and the staff were attentive. I was craving Massaman curry and was not disappointed!! It was my bf's first time trying the dish and I'm glad he tried it from here cause now he craves it too! The tamarind sauce from the meatballs were addictive. I would drizzle it on anything. The Pad kee mao was flavorful and is always a solid choice.

Visited Naree on a Tuesday evening. It was not busy however it seems they were short staffed as it took a while for the server to address my table. When the server arrived he was very kind and attentive going forward. The restaurant was beautiful and clean perfect for a date night or something more casual. I tried the steamed Dim Sum which was hearty and packed with flavor. I would love to try them again fried. Also tried the deliciously sweet Lychee Tea. I could drink this all day long especially on a hot day. Next up I tried the spicy crab noodle, shrimp Thai fried rice and the roasted duck fried rice. All had amazing bold spice and flavor. Presentation was beautiful and portion size huge made for great leftovers the next day! This is a must visit Long Beach destination!

Restaurant is packed, so place resos if possible. Food here is absolutely delicious. Notable dishes for me are the Pad See Ew with the giant shrimp and the Salmon Larb. Pad See ew had such a good wok fry essence. So flavorful, and perfect blend of savory and slight sweetness. Chinese broccoli nicely wok fried. The shrimp was jumbo and so succulent. Salmon Larb was perfectly cooked with fried cubes of juicy flavorful salmon. Tossed in fresh mint, cilantro, scallions, a ton of fresh lime juice, chili flakes, red onions and lettuce. The toasted rice powder was definitely apparent as every Larb dish should have. Slightly different take of Larb, bit more modernized and tweaked cause definitely a salad with the lettuce versus served with the cabbage and cucumber on the side. I don't think you can go wrong with what you order. Definitely fusion of authentic with a modernized American feel. Cocktails were excellent and recommend their Tamarind Spicy drink, don't remember the name but it was so good. Unfortunately no photos cause we weee hungry and just cleared out the food as it came out. Service is straight forward. We got what we needed with a bit wait due to the fact the place is BUSY!

So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. It was a good idea just to do take out and eat at the hotel here.

Some tends to be very Americanize, others are just whatever but people love them. I like what I like and this place is one of them. Like mentioned, whenever I'm in Long Beach a visit here is always a must. The service is amazing as all the staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The place isn't that big but a fairly decent amount of seating on both side. They do have a table out front but it's only one. Menu has pretty much a good selection of Thai dishes. I like what I like and tend to go for the same items as they are one of the place that makes it the way I prefer. And why is it some Thai places don't offer their classic dish, the boat noodles. I've been to a few and they don't offer it while some places, it's not that good. Here, it's alway consistent and very flavorful. That a must for me and alway ordered. We also love the papaya salad which you can have Thai style or Laos style. Depending on what your preference is. Their larb is great as well. Very flavorful and tasty. Of course our main items we tend to get here, the boat noodles which I love as it's flavorful, broth is perfect and all the extras added. Also all their curries are excellent. Lately we've been getting their massaman curries which the flavors is really nice. Whatever protein you like. The curries do come with a side of rice but an extra order is alway needed. Love it to have with the papaya salad and larb. All their dishes are great and very flavorful. Spice level varies on what you like but I tend to go with medium and add all the extra spices for myself with their sauce selection. We tend to alway be full even before being asked if we wanted dessert. The food is always amazing and the staff are always friendly and sweet. There's two restaurants that's a door apart and both are great but this one takes the cake for me. It's always a must when I'm in town as I know the food will alway be delicious. Highly recommended. Heads up, parking in the area is a bitch. It's all residential so people tend to stay in or else they're going to lose their spots. Just a heads up.

We tried several things including the crab and pork soup dumplings, shrimp wonton in chili oil, house beef noodle soup, orange chicken, and walnut shrimp. Definitely a place you can easily have a family style meal at! Crab and pork soup dumplings - really good flavor, wish there was slightly more soup in the dumpling! Would definitely get again, especially if you get their HH price Walnut shrimp - my new favorite walnut shrimp in the area! These came out nice and fresh, shrimp was cooked well, sauce was good balance of sweet and savory Beef noodle soup - broth was surprisingly not as hearty as the deep color would make you think, but still very full of beef flavor. The beef was very tender, melt in your mouth! Noodles were nicely bouncy with mild chew. Good option if you are in the mood for noodle soup Orange chicken - unfortunately seemed to be a mix of freshly cooked and an old order as some pieces were warmer than others. Good flavor, but chicken inside the breading was quite dry. Wish it was a bit saucier Shrimp wonton in chili oil - to me had a strange aftertaste. It does have cucumber in the wonton - warm cucumber taste was not for me Inside had a rustic appearance with brick walls and industrial lights. A good place to eat with a few friends and try different things. Would come back for the walnut shrimp and crab and pork soup dumplings!
