Anna's Joint is a breath of fresh air. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind. The food is just delicious. The moment you walk in, you are captivated by the scents and adorable decor that makes Anna's so unique! A must add to the rotation!

I came here to try their breakfast menu and it's okay! Their breakfast burrito was highly recommended to me, but I found it very plain and boring. It wasn't even like a classic done well. Sorry, love Anna's but this was not it! I would get your breakfast burritos elsewhere and stop by Anna's for lunch/dinner/fun treat.

Drove by this spot one evening after catching a movie with a friend, and for a "deli" it sure was poppin! Last week, I made it a point to order from them through DoorDash and walked over during my break... Let me tell you (and it probably is no secret) that my sandwich was next level! I ordered the Turk-Ado Aioli which is a turkey sandwich that includes shredded iceberg & arugula, avocado spread, herbed aioli, tomato & swiss cheese. I selected the sourdough bread (all their bread comes from Hey Brother Baker which I think is very neat). I also added their Elote Cesar salad without the cotija and it was so delicious and fresh. You can tell they really use quality ingredients. There are two parts to the Joint; the corner is a bar/deli with in-house seating at the counter/bar and a couple of small tables, and they have a variety of beers on tap. Right next door is where you can pick up mobile orders. It's set up as a little market/bottleshop where you can pick up snacks, refrigerated goods and all sorts of canned craft beers. I'll probably make it a point to try many of the sandwiches with different breads I'll also need to go after work hours/during the weekend to try the different beers they have on tap and in the fridges.

Cool spot! I've stopped by here a couple of times, sometimes for wine, a delicious sandwhich, and most recently for coffee/ breakfast! The service is fast and good, they have good food options as well and it's always a nice and relaxed vibe. Perfect for a chill day.

Gourmet sandwiches and cool vibes! Good for lunch dates. What we ate: boyfriend got the pastrami on sourdough & loved it. Tuna (Venetian) was excellent. Half sizes are good portion for light lunch. Macaroni salad was great! High quality ingredients. Service: picked up to go, but was ready at the time they estimated. Parking: street parking mostly. There are public lots nearby with 2 hours free. Ambiance: cute and super hip. Price: steeper than subway for sure, but it's much better tasting and quality. $9 for half sandwich.

I'm still thinking about the sandwich I had here. If I lived in Long Beach this place would absolutely be my go to sandwich place. The sourdough bread and herb aioli were just perfection. Staff was super friendly. There are two sides of the restaurant you can order and eat on. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Street parking only is the only downside.

Had so much fun at this spot. It was karaoke Wednesday and I had a blast. Anna's beer was delicious and same with my Neos BLT sandwich. The service was so fast. Will be back for more fun.

Anna's Joint has a casual, fun, and welcoming vibe with a neighborhood feel. The small bar-diner interior and outdoor seating make it easy to settle in, and the weekday events like karaoke, game nights, and paint & sip add a great community touch. Food was solid overall. The whipped feta dip was a standout--creamy, flavorful, and served with perfectly toasted fresh bread. The salt & vinegar tater tots might be the best I've ever had. Chicken wings were mid, but the little meatballs were tasty. One of the ladies dining with me-FOF-had the beef dip, which was massive and satisfying. The menu offers plenty of variety, so there's something for everyone. Service was friendly and fast, with a bartender/server who kept things moving. The crowd is mostly locals who clearly love the place. It's not mind-blowing, but definitely a great spot to relax, eat well, and feel part of the neighborhood.

    Bodega breakfast burrito, matcha latte

Very happy that I've been able to try Anna's recently. I've walked past many times. It's been on the list for a while! I've only ordered online, so I can't speak to the in person experience. However, my orders have all been so good. First, I love the variety in the menu. Lots of options! So far, I've tried the Bodega breakfast burrito, iced matcha latte with honey + oatmilk, and the Spicy Mo Yo, Sticky Bird, and Neo BLT sandwiches. I've also tried the salt and vinegar tots and the brussle sprouts. The matcha latte was ok, but the breakfast burrito was one of the best. I'm usually not a breakfast burrito person because there's usually away too many eggs or potatoes for my liking. I felt this had ingredients perfectly distributed and was hearty, but not greasy and too heavy. Everything tasted fresh. All the sandwiches were great. I honestly think the bread quality and in-house sauces seal the deal for . They have unique additions to their sandwiches that make them one of a kind. That BLT is not your average BLT! Ultimately, I look forward to trying other items over time because I've yet to be disappointed.

Anna's Joint in Long Beach is a cafe, pub, and deli all in one! Drop by for delicious sandwiches and an amazing vibe Strawberry Matcha : Not my favorite. It definitely needed some sort of sweetener, it was too bitter. Turk-Ado Aioli Sandwich : Delcious! Loved the flavor, a simple classic turkey sandwich that you can't go wrong ordering. Also I loved how you can choose your bread for any sandwich. Whipped Feta Dip : the perfect appetizer, the bread was fresh perfectly toasted. The feta was so good!

Iced Latte w/ Oatmilk & Caramel Syrup Good Morning LB! bagel sandwich
    Cedric J.

My breakfast obsession has NOW been taken care of! Anna's Joint is the quality of fast casual breakfast I've been yearning for in the neighborhood! I ordered to-go and grabbed an Iced Latte and Good Morning LB breakfast bagel - loved them both! I added a pump of caramel syrup and opted for oat milk for my latte which paired nicely with subtle notes of cardamom in the espresso. The Good Morning LB on a cheese bagel was hearty and just crispy goodness. I enjoyed the velvety yolk of the fried egg, the thick texture of the bacon and the perfectly portioned amount of avocado. Yummy, and designed to be intact in every bite. Excited to cap off my Saturday morning walks with a stop by at Anna's! I have to enjoy this in-person now and also try their lunch & dinner menu items.

#7 Nashville Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and non-alcoholic IPA
    Brian L.

After the Convention Center I was looking for a good chicken sandwich and I found this restaurant nearby. The service was friendly and the restaurant is inviting and cozy. I got a chicken sandwich that was exactly the pick me up I needed. They have a good beer selection. I got a non-alcoholic IPA this time and it did not disappoint.

We could smell the curry broth coming from the kitchen before they arrived and immediately knew we had made the right choice. It's a small, charming spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Just a heads up- there's no indoor seating, so everything is outdoors with a small patio setup. Located off the fun Retro Row on Fourth St. with the last Friday event happening, we noticed a good amount of people walking in and there was a security guard out front. The crowd was lively so it must be good. First off, I was totally surprised about this place. It's a pretty nice spot. There's the main bar right along one wall that offered both wine and beer. There was also a corner that hosted a live band. When we arrived, no one was playing yet. The crowd seemed to be more of the younger hipster vibe. A completely different crowd from the LA scenes. Getting a drink wasn't that bad even though it was busy. I happened to get lucky when someone moved from the bar stool for me to approach. I was a little surprised when the wine I ordered was in a box...lol... I mean, it was whatever. Some options were for a glass only or for both a glass or bottle. But when it came to checking out, tipping options went from 20 25 percent to 30 percent. Wasn't used to that as an option as it's not like you're dinning in. Anyway, the surprise was when we walked out and seen that they had a massive back patio. It was hard finding a seat as it was packed. There was also a food trunk on deck but wasn't sure what they were serving. We noticed people with hotdogs and someone with a box of pizza. Not sure if it's from the vendor or if you're allowed outside food in. The vibe was fun, the crowd was lively and everyone there for a good time. It's more of a younger scene. It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.

So we had to get the charcuterie which was so small and cost $30. Really ridiculous price for something with a few pieces of meat, cheese, grapes and nuts. The wine was good, and the tastings were generous and I know it is a wine bar but the day was really spoiled by not having a lunch there. I don't think I would go there again. If you do make sure they have a chef before you go if you want to eat.
