I love this place you order thru Kiosk at the counter. Grab a number. I wanted to gate keep this place. Healthy, clean environment food is so tasty and service is great. I would like to try everything on their menu. Their home made bread is so good. This is the spot.

Came in here they were hungry and we heard it was good a wide enough variety to order an order either salad or sandwich. Demon environment, friendly staff we can order a kiosk or Have someone help in person. my wife got a Mediterranean bowl and really liked it. My daughter gets the salmon bowl and also enjoyed it. My other daughter and I both got the garlic sesame steak bowl. I thought the steak bowl was very flavorful and they did give you plenty of steak, but I did think the steak was a little bit too well done. Also bought two drinks and the total bill was $80. Life ain't cheap anymore.

Loveeeeee urbane cafe and this location is keeping up with the quality. The focaccia was pillowy and hummus was savory. Great for a post workout meal. Service was supper friendly and location was clean! Lots of parking available too!

Located in LBX, this was a perfect stop after shopping at Nordstrom Rack. I walked in and the vibe was friendly. I was immediately greeted by someone behind the counter. I love the concept, where the bread is baked daily, the meat is hormone free and the saces are made from scratch. I ordered using the kiosk and noticed that the menu includes sandwhiches, salads, bowls, and soup. I chose the BBQ Tri Tip sandwich which includes Jack Cheese, Housemade Apple Coleslaw and Chipotle Aioli. The sandwich is a bit smaller than I expected, but comes with a side salad. The sandwich is sliced in half and the first half had a small amount of tri tip. I then ate the second half which had a nice amount of tri tip. Overall, the sandwich was delicious and a bit spicy. I appreciated the side salad but I'll choose a different dressing next time. It came with a Balsamic Vinaigrette which wasn't my favorite. I received my take out order and the cashier apologized for the wait. It really didn't take long at all. Service was pretty outstanding and the food, fresh and delicious! I'll definitely be back to try more.

Fresh, tasty and good portion for the price. Service is friendly and fast. They have a good variety of proteins and vegetables, rice bowls and salads, as well as fresh baked breads. Clean and lots of seats. Will come again.

My second time at Urbane café today. I got my food to go this time. I had the Chimichuri steak sandwich on house made ciabatta bread. All their sandwiches come with either a side salad or a cup of soup. I got the salad. I also got a cup of their enchilada soup which I've craving since the last time i was there. Everything was excellent. Delicious, quality food, great service, great music playing in the background, Everyone is so nice and amazing prices. What else do you want? I Love this place

We came here around lunchtime right before the rush which was about 12pm. There were only 2 tables left outside. The guy at the register was helpful when I asked him about their new fish sandwich. I ended up ordering that and the ahi tuna salad. I was really impressed with the sandwich. The fish was wonderfully seasoned and the slaw was nice and tangy. I really enjoyed the pickled onion in every bite. We also would order the ahi tuna salad again. We left very satisfied with our meal. Oh, and I love their root beer fountain drink! I plan on coming back again very soon.

I came here for the first time earlier this week and tried the salmon bowl. It came with a complementary piece of their focaccia bread. Since it was my first visit, I also received a complementary cookie. I was so impressed by both the food and staff, and told my adult kids about it. My son and I came back today, and he was equally impressed. He had the Santa Maria barbecue chicken sandwich that included a side salad, and I opted for the limited-time offering of the barramundi bowl. The food is exceptional, very tasty with fresh and healthy ingredients. The cookies are amazing and the perfect end to a great meal. Both times, the entire staff was so friendly and helpful. They also have an app for placing orders and earning rewards. We will definitely be back often. It is such a better option for a comparable price, than greasy fast food.

BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY Free cookie for Rewards members Urbane Cafe opened earlier this year, and I made sure to sign up for their Rewards to take advantage of birthday perks. After having a sandwich at Ike's, sushi & a cocktail at Sosogu, a Michelob Ultra at Georgia's, and churros a la mode at Silverlake Ramen, Urbane Cafe rounded out the last stop at LBX to hit up. Ordering a chocolate chip cookie via the self-service kiosk, an employee quickly swiped up one of their sinfully sweet delights, and chocolatey goodness was within my grasp in no time. Service was great. A good amount of customers were entering the restaurant, and the staff kept the line moving, the entire time. Urbane Cafe is located on the right of the main entrance (McGowen St.) of the LBX, next to For Eyes. A free cookie ain't too shabby, at all. Urbane Cafe brought birthday cheers for me, and I appreciate it. I'm anticipating coming back, and exploring the rest of the menu.

This spot is my go-to after a sauna session. I always order through the app, which makes ordering quick and convenient. I usually get the salmon bowl, but recently I've been switching it up with the cilantro chicken salad. The salmon bowl is packed with flavor--BBQ-glazed salmon, mixed whole-grain rice, marinated kale, roasted sweet potatoes, edamame, a lemon wedge, and a sweet chili aioli drizzle. A couple of times, though, the rice was a bit undercooked, which was disappointing. That's what led me to try the cilantro chicken salad instead. The cilantro chicken salad comes with marinated cilantro chicken, chopped salad mix, avocado, corn and black bean salsa, mozzarella cheese, and cilantro vinaigrette, plus fresh-baked focaccia bread on the side. The salad is really good, but I do wish it came with a bit more chicken--the portion feels small for the size of the bowl. I've also ordered cookies a few times. The double chocolate is my favorite. I tried the cranberry white chocolate as well, but it was too sweet and doughy for my taste. If you use the app and accumulate points, one of the rewards is a free cookie, which is a nice bonus.

A nice, hidden gem amongst a crowd of big chains. I came here on a recommendation from my sister for healthy, delicious sandwiches with a unique twist of flavors and options and I can say I was definitely impressed! The food is great and the staff are pleasant to work with. There's a great selection of food and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients with each bite. I personally got the sweet chili crunch chicken and that was a flavor bomb of different tastes that blended well together. It definitely tasted great and I would recommend it. The location itself is in the middle of the LBX area, almost hidden amongst all of the big name chains that surround it. But definitely not a place to skip over, give this place a shot! There are multi height seating inside as well as an outdoor seating patio. Parking is plentiful as it's the LBX lot but also it's low car friendly for you car folks out there. Definitely recommend trying it out. Will come back again!

I ordered on the app so I could get a free cookie! Cranberry Brie sandwich with Tomato Bisque, Salmon Bowl with Focaccia Bread, and Cranberry White Chocolate, Oatmeal Raisin and Chocolate Chip cookies. Everything tasted fresh and I felt that items were made with care. The restaurant was clean inside and out. Order taker and manager both greeted me and seemed friendly.

Tried this place out today for the first time. We ordered two different sandwiches and split them so we could each try. They were both very good. The bread was super fresh! I didn't care for the salad that came with it, well, it was the dressing I didn't like. In talking with my friend (she dines here sometimes) she told me I can ask for a different dressing and that the cilantro lime dressing is really good. So I would try that next time... or maybe upgrade to a different side as that is an option too (I asked one of the workers after the fact). My husband decided to get a cookie for us to share before we left. We had the salted chocolate chip and it was delightful. Rich and delicious!

Service was excellent, food amount was generous, and taste was OK...though the KBBQ doesn't really compare well to the ones in K-Town or Garden Grove. Four of us had never been here before, so came on a Wednesday late morning, as soon as they opened at 11am. There is dedicated parking behind the restaurant, where we found spots for our two cars. We were the first customers for the day, and picked a table for six in the front. It was right next to the busy sidewalk (which folks use their bicycles and motorized scooter on), so wouldn't choose this spot next time. But since we wanted to try their KBBQ for six, it was the only spot available. The grill is a typical set-up that you can do at home, with a portable butane canister and a caldron style grill (kinda out of fashion to use as KBBQ these days, especially outside). The party let me order, so ended up getting the following. 1 Seoul Sunrise Fish Bowl ($25) - an agave infused orange, pineapple, grenadine, and soda cocktail with a whole chamisul bottle of soju. Really a nice sight that all of us tried, and we agreed that it was refreshing for a humid day like this day. Moo's Combo (Large for $140) - it had Prime Brisket, Beef Belly, ribeye bulgogi (other choice being Prime Flat Iron), prime kkotsal boneless short rib (other choice being prime marinated boneless galbi). It comes with Corn Cheese (decent), rice cake skewers (good), crispy pork dumpling (kind you buy from h-mart, and cooked well), a small pre-dressed salad, and various banchan. I asked for rice paper (which they were bigger), and each person got a series of 3 dipping sauces (none of them memorable). All the meat came at once, and had to be grilled individually. Because it was warm outside, a lot of the meat became room temperature. The meat quantity was great (more than I expected), but the quality was just OK and nobody at the table really praised the taste too much. For me, it was OK and would try something else on their menu next time. Popcorn Five Spice chicken wings ($17) - on their collaboration menu with Midnight Oil, enjoyed by my wife and her mom. Scallion Pancake ($15.99) - it was OK, a large amount with 6 generous slices...just wish it was a lot thinner, with more scallions and crispiness. 2 Orders of Busan Mackerel ($9.99 each) - I had gotten this last time, and really liked it, so wanted to share with my other Korean dining partners. It was just OK this time, not as crispy as before. Note that it has a lot of pin bones that weren't all removed. We were able to refill the banchan and I took advantage for my favorites. I really like the kimchi here, and will always eat a lot of the fish cake (which I really like here). They use Toast as the POS, and the large bill was accurate, including a 18% gratuity since we were a party of six. What I really liked about it, was that even though it was very slow (we were the only customers dining in so early in the afternoon), the service and food quality was the same as what I would expect at a busier time. And their menu is as diverse and varied as any I've seen at Korean restaurants. Overall a good experience: would try their lunch specials next time, sitting inside.

So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. It's a Thai basil stir-fry with eggplant, onion, and Thai chilis, and I absolutely love it. We also ordered the mussel curry, which my friend picked, and it completely surprised me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was excellent. The standout, though, was the Khao Soi Noodle Soup with sliced rib-eye beef. Somehow I'd never ordered the dish they're most famous for, and now I understand why. It absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth with the rib-eye was incredible and is something I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time. My biggest criticism is that the rice portions feel smaller than they used to. With how much delicious curry and sauce you get, I found myself wishing there was just a little more rice to soak everything up. I also noticed that the green beans in the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant are very al dente. Personally, I'd prefer if they were blanched just a bit so they were slightly more tender. If the goal is to add texture, I'd almost rather see crunch come from something like cashews instead--but that's just my preference. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice and another dessert with sweet milk dumplings and red beans. Both were fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Vibes of the restaurant are great. It's a small venue, but they work quickly, and a staff was very welcoming. Overall, Chiang Rai continues to be my favorite Thai spot in Southern California. If it's your first visit, the Khao Soi with sliced rib-eye is absolutely the dish I'd tell you to order.

This was one of the best ramen spots we tried during our Long Beach trip…read more The tonkotsu ramen had a rich, creamy broth that wasn't overly salty, and the noodles had a great texture. The chashu was tender and flavorful, and every bite felt well balanced. The pork rice bowl was just as good and is worth ordering if you're hungry. The restaurant is clean, modern, and has a relaxed atmosphere. Service was friendly, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. It isn't the cheapest bowl of ramen, but the quality makes it worth it. If you're looking for good ramen in Long Beach, HiroNori is an easy recommendation.

This is a 4.5 for me, but the customer service from Mel and Cassandra bumped it to at 5…read more I was supposed to try HiroNori for a Yelp Elite event, but unfortunately my plane landed later than expected yesterday, so I missed out. But I had heard so many great things about HiroNori that I wanted to try it anyways. My brother especially kept hyping them up, and he LOVES ramen. And I'm glad I decided to try them out! While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. They do not have tipping, instead they have a service charge of a little over 17%. Definitely worth it!

Excited to have found a solid place for Chinese food in Long Beach!…read more We came in on a Friday night and it was steadily busy. We were seated and the food came out quickly, but after that, service was a bit slow. We tried several things including the crab and pork soup dumplings, shrimp wonton in chili oil, house beef noodle soup, orange chicken, and walnut shrimp. Definitely a place you can easily have a family style meal at! Crab and pork soup dumplings - really good flavor, wish there was slightly more soup in the dumpling! Would definitely get again, especially if you get their HH price Walnut shrimp - my new favorite walnut shrimp in the area! These came out nice and fresh, shrimp was cooked well, sauce was good balance of sweet and savory Beef noodle soup - broth was surprisingly not as hearty as the deep color would make you think, but still very full of beef flavor. The beef was very tender, melt in your mouth! Noodles were nicely bouncy with mild chew. Good option if you are in the mood for noodle soup Orange chicken - unfortunately seemed to be a mix of freshly cooked and an old order as some pieces were warmer than others. Good flavor, but chicken inside the breading was quite dry. Wish it was a bit saucier Shrimp wonton in chili oil - to me had a strange aftertaste. It does have cucumber in the wonton - warm cucumber taste was not for me Inside had a rustic appearance with brick walls and industrial lights. A good place to eat with a few friends and try different things. Would come back for the walnut shrimp and crab and pork soup dumplings!
