I almost hesitate to write this because selfishly, I'd love to keep Rim Talay a locals-only secret. We've been coming here since they opened in 2023, and somewhere between our first meal and what has to be dozens of takeout orders later, we've become full-blown cult followers. When neither of us feels like cooking, the decision has already been made before either of us says a word: Rim Talay time! The food is consistently outstanding whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout (which we admittedly do... a lot). Their Pad See Ew is hands-down one of our favorite comfort meals in Long Beach, the Khao Soi is rich, deeply flavorful, and something we find ourselves craving regularly, and the mango sticky rice is a non-negotiable. My boyfriend usually hates 99% of mango sticky rice dishes, but he loves their recipe! We've tried plenty of Thai restaurants over the years, but Rim Talay keeps pulling us back. Beyond the food, what makes Rim Talay so special is the people behind it. It's family-owned and operated by the Paiboolsilp/Takaeo family, and you can genuinely feel the care they put into both the food and the hospitality. Supporting a local family business that consistently delivers this level of quality just feels good. Long Beach has plenty of great places to eat, but Rim Talay has earned a permanent spot in our tummies. Some restaurants become favorites. This one became a tradition. read more

Recently, the quality and service has gone way down. Yesterday I took my wife to dinner. When server asked if we'd like anything to drink, I ordered a beer, all to be informed that they "do not have any beer whatsoever available today". Would have been nice to know before we were taken to our table. Okay, get over it (strike 1). Several minutes later same server returns and asks if we were ready to order. We agreed on a appetizer (curry puffs). Ive had them multiple times at this restaurant. What she brings are wantons with curried potato inside. When I told the server that was not what I ordered, she then proceeds to tell me that is a curry puff. Looked me dead in my eyes and told me that. Aye!!! Like I don't know what a curry puff is. Instead of lying to my face, just tell me, you don't have any, or I don't deserve to have anything I would like to order; just accept what I give you. (strike 2). The third and final strike was when a couple enters and asks her if they could dine in with their very furry, but admittedly adorable dog. She tells them yes. We were not the only ones shocked. She never bothered to ask any of us patrons if we were okay with it. Personally, I DO NOT like animal fur with my meals. I have and love dogs, but sometimes they just need to be left at home. At any rate, wifey and I asked for the check to pay for our fake curry puffs and left. NOPE, would not recommend this place. read more

I had lunch with friends today at Rim Talay. We all had different dishes and all agreed it was awesome. If you enjoy legitimate Thai food with great staff you need to eat here. The restaurant was clean and very well maintained. The food was some of the best I have ever had. The presentation and sauces used were absolutely amazing. Their teas and smoothies were also great. This is truly a gem of a restaurant. Don't let parking stop you from eating here. Trust me, It's well worth finding parking for this place. Highly recommend Rim Talay read more

Rim Talay - This was one of the dishes we had pineapple fried rice. Superb Can't say enough. - Thai Near Me - Long Beach, California

Wow! Delicious Thai restaurant.. The presentation was really good. All the food was so well presented. And then I took a bite. Wow. Now my favorite Thai restaurant. read more

Nicely situated on the west end of 2nd Street in Naples the restaurant has a clean, fresh vibe. Parking on this end of town isn't so challenging and you might also be able to leave your bike on the front side walk patio. Three of us checked out their Drunken Noodles, Chicken Larb and Special Fried Rice. The first thing I noted was that the spice level - medium - was perfect. The second thing was that no dish was greasy. I enjoyed my full plate of Larb presented more as a salad with lettuce leaves underneath but you could request them on the side. My friends enjoyed their dishes. We all agreed we'd come back. Good pleasant service. read more

Excellent newer place in Naples!! So happy to try it - fresh rolls were excellent, panang curry is perfect and medium spicy has the perfect kick- makes you want to keep eating it, spicy eggplant yum yum yum and the pad Thai with shrimp had the perfect amount of sauce and not too sweet. Definitely our new go to! The waitress was very sweet and remembered our entire order with special requests without writing it down, we line the ambiance and even the music makes you feel like you are on vacation in a tropical hotel. read more

For anyone looking for a solid yummy Thai meal, Rim Talay is a nice place to stop by. Came here with a group of friends for a late lunch and overall, left very full and satisfied :) Highlights Food Portion: Huge / Family Size ~ Definitely recommend come hungry to eat as most of the dishes are pretty big. Dishes my friends and I had were: 1. Crab Rangoon - solid and standard tasting 2. Crab Fried Rice - Worth the price with the amount of fresh crab used and how flavorful the rice was 3. Green Curry - More savory than sweet and was super good. 4. Pad se ew - Had the right amount of char and balance of sweet and savory flavor 5. Pad Thai - a bit sweeter than anticipated but good texture on the noodles 6. Crying Tiger - This was one of my favorite dishes. Meat was cooked to a nice juicy and tender point and the seasoning / marinade was good. When in doubt, can't go wrong with ordering this 7. Khao Soi - Loce the broth. For all the spicy lovers, if you order super spicy, it's like 10000/10 on the spice. Oiiii. Painful but yummy. Service - Staff was nice and cheerful Overall, would stop by here again for drinks and other dishes :) read more

Just dined here for the first time and it was exceptional. Crab fried rice is an absolute must. Very nice attentive service. Place exceeded my expectations. It will be my go to thai place read more

Always great food and great service. We did a couple of fresh rolls with tofu to go and they were delish!! We live close and we will definitely come back when we have the cravings for Thai food. Very clean place and well taken care of. read more

Our favorite local Thai Restaurant! Food and service are always excellent! We love their tea drinks! We went for dinner Sunday evening and the restaurant really filled up. Very glad to see that as this place deserves the business. Family owned and run! Lots of pride and passion in the food and service. Their food and drinks are presented beautifully with accents. The drinks usually have flowers. Food dishes often have a granish (i.e., shredded carrot bundle). It's these little details make them stand out and make you feel as a customer feel special. Someone went to a lot of work to make these accents. Their appetizers are so good, it's hard to order just one! We ordered the Chicken Satay (the peanut sauce is amazing) and Fried Wontons. For dishes we ordered Beef Drunken Noodles and Green Curry, both Medium Spicey and the heat level was PERFECT! For drinks two of us had the Thai Iced Green Tea and I tried the Passion Fruit Lemonade. Their Thai teas are so good and as I said beautifully presented. The Lemonade was refreshing and made with fresh Passion fruit, adding texture, and of course with a garnish accent! We always have to order the Mango Sticky Rice. It's the perfect ending to a great meal! We come back again and again. Consistently great food and service! read more

Ordered panang curry no spice that was quite spicy. Tiniest portion of rice came with it - a small fraction of a single serving. Overall disappointed with the flavors and cost/value of our entire order and prefer other options in the neighborhood. read more

This place is fantastic and we will definitely be back! We were craving Thai food and having difficulty finding options. Luckily hit stumbled across Rim Talay in Naples on 2nd St. There is a Yelp check-in offer for free veggie spring rolls - so delicious! We also had the best cream cheese wontons ever. Light and flaky wonton and creamy filling. I had the shrimp pad thai and my husband, the chicken pad thai and both portions were huge. We had to take half home for lunch the next day. It was actually even better the next day since the bean sprouts softened a bit in the reheating. :) I want to come back for the chicken satay, tom kha gai and pad see ew. All my favorites! Highly recommend this place - wonderful service and food. read more

Was recommended this spot after working in the area and wow!! This place is everything you'd want: flavor, aesthetic, and service! The restaurant is beautiful itself, really great for those foodie shots. The service is also great and attentive. And the food!! Oh my god just mouthwatering looking back at it! You must order the sticky rice, I could eat it alone. And the pad Thai was well coated in sauce, not dry like some other spots. And that Khao Soi with tempura shrimp!! My mouth was in heaven. Will definitely return if I find myself in the area! read more

Me and my girlfriends came on a Thursday evening, got seated right away and service was amazing and quick. We ordered mango stinky rice, crying Tiger (which was so tender and served over a bed of vegetables), and green curry with chicken with the perfect amount of kick to it! Very spacious restaurant, it is in the corner which could easier be missed if you're driving on the street. There's no parking lot but free street parking after 6! read more

Airy, spacious, and clean are my first three words to describe this restaurant. Checked in on Yelp and received three veggie fried egg rolls. Visited for lunch and ordered the yellow curry special, pad Thai lunch special, and Tom Yum. The yellow curry lunch special was delicious! The curry is the perfect consistency and level of spice. There were slices of chicken, chunks of potatoes and carrots served with rice, one veggie egg roll, a green salad, and a beautiful orchid! Unfortunately, the green salad was a bit too tart for me, but everything else was great! The pad Thai hit the spot! The texture and flavor were memorable; so excited to have this dish again! It was served with rice, one egg roll, and a green salad. The Tom Yum was unusually on the sweeter side, so this dish was not my favorite. Dine in customers get a free scoop of ice cream after the meal and Naples residents get a discount. Street parking. Friendly customer service. read more

Very clean and cozy dining experience at Rim Talay in Naples. Super sweet and attentive staff. Veggie fried rice is probably the best I've ever had. Cashew chicken is excellent. Lots of variety and flavors on the menu. This is my go-to Thai place in the area for takeout and dining in. Dog friendly indoor-outdoor front patio too! read more

After watching the Naples Boat Parade decided to walk to try Rim Talay for dinner. There was only a slight wait for a party of two as it was almost 8PM (they close at 9PM). The interior is not that big but is clean, modern, and bright. Decor was pretty, and even the silverware had gold-colored embellishments. Service was good, though they seemed busy. It did take a while for the food to come out. Menu is large. Prices are high but expected for Naples. The food itself was very tasty. I would have liked a little more crushed peanut on my pad thai, but that's just me. We also ordered mild for the pad thai and pineapple shrimp curry, but could barely taste any heat. Conversely, the papaya salad was also ordered mild and was quite spicy. I ordered a Thai iced tea limeade which was smooth, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The coconut sauce for mango sticky rice is always a bit too salty for me; I just don't like that sweet salty combo. I did enjoy the crunchy puffed rice topping on the dessert though, which I had not had before for mango sticky rice. Overall, glad to have more options for eating in Naples without having to venture to Belmont Shore. read more

Pretty decorations but the food was too sweet & salty. The dishes that are typically sour lacked sourness.

So good, vegetarian friendly which is not always true for a Thai place! I love the Spaghetti dish, get it with tofu and it's so spicy!

Food and service here was amazing! It's lowkey so don't under estimate it, worth it. My new favorite Thai food spot!

Beautiful and clean inside. Some of the best Tom Kha soup with chicken and veggies, and yellow chicken curry we've had. Delicious and so flavorful! read more

Service and ambiance were both good. Waitress was very nice and attentive, but when we were there she had only 3 tables. Staff appeared to be comprised of one person on the floor and one in the kitchen. I'm not sure how they would handle a full house. The fresh rolls are not on the menu but they do have them and they were very good. The Tom Yum was different than I've ever had before. Not sure if it was more authentic or less authentic than I'm used to, but I didn't love it. We probably should have ordered the Tom Kha instead. The Panang curry had good flavor but was extremely stingy on the chicken and vegetables. The sauce was much soupier than I'm used to. I would not order it again. Service and environment were a 4+ but unfortunately food was only a 3. read more

This Thai place has replaced Manaow (my favorite Thai place in ling beach) there are a few reason why. Ambiance: is very modern, simple, clean yet fancy. Meaning the silverware looks and feel high end. The ceiling light gives you that Thailand restaurant vibe as if you were in Thailand. Service: the staff are very friend and knowledgeable of the food menu. Food: the fried garlic chives is a must try, so crispy yet soft in the inside and the special sauce pairs perfectly with it. The khao soi was very flavorful, the brisket was tender as well the right balance so salty and savory definitely a must l!! Pad Thai was good, not tooo oily and the flavor was there and the portion size was very generous. Thai iced tea was amazing. Finally the sticky mango rice, definitely love it! It's not overly sweet and cloying!! If you're around the area you just eat!!! read more

Writing this review after devouring my leftovers 4 days later-long story short: amazing- AH MAZING food!! My gfs & I came in on a Friday at 7 pm. We were disappointed that they didn't serve cocktails, but they do serve beer and wine. We wanted the chrysanthemum tea but they were sold out so definitely try it for me if it's available when you go . I ended up getting the Thai lime iced tea & it was refreshing & so tasty!! (I didn't offer to share-I just kept quietly sipping wondering how long I had before they asked for a sip ) It was all of our first times here. We ordered the pad see ew with tofu, pad Thai with beef, & 2 different soups. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. I especially was happy with my pad thai. My friend said she loved the crispy tofu in her pad see-ew. I took the rest of my pad thai home and their take out box is the best! As someone who rarely finishes her food in one sitting, I have come across great and terrible take out boxes lol. Rim Talay has chosen the best takeout box. I kept my pad Thai in their box (sunset brand) for the microwave. Put it in for a minute & let it cool for 45 seconds & it tasted JUST as good as in the restaurant. The noodles were same consistency & the sauce was perfect & the beef wasn't overcooked or tough either! I can't wait to go back for more! There was plenty of free parking behind the restaurant in the neighborhood (easy parking). read more

Another Diamond in the Rough While looking for a good and healthy place to eat, we recalled a new Thai Food place that opened on Naples Island... Rim Talay. When we arrived, it was busy but, still some seats available. The place was very clean and ALL the staff were very friendly. The menu offered a number of items that you wouldn't see at a typical Thai place. We ordered the Khoi Soi 20, Thai Curry Puff and Pad See Ew with beef. Everything was fresh and tasty. The flavor of the Pad See Ew was REALLY good!! I will definitely go back and recommend you give Rim Talay a try.... They're brand new and, It's only gonna get better (and busier ) read more

rim talay was such a cute restuarant with an open concept and a diverse menu. it was my first time having pad woon sen (silver noodles) and my party and i also ordered their yellow curry. i unfortunately didn't find the food very delicious? i dont know if it's because we ordered wrong but i thought the flavor was pretty mild and the curry consistency was very watery. the lady was manning the several tables on her own during dinner. she was very attentive and sweet. i hope to come back and try it again, but sadly it fell pretty short. read more

I said Ayeeeee Yooooo! I had no idea this place existed! Thank God I do now. It can get lost on the endless amount of business on 2nd Street. This establishment does an amazing job with the presentation of food, decor, and cleanliness. It's beautiful lit in the day and evening hours! I had the two mixed vegetables entrees, one with chicken and the other with shrimp. Paid a little more for the protein, but it was well worth it! The seasoning is delicious! Parking can be tough, because there's only street and neighborhood parking. I ordered pick-up style and they had my food ready within the 15 minutes they suggested. I will be back here at least quarterly! read more

Rim Talay food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and quick to help with any food suggestions. While I usually do takeout, the restaurant looks clean and bright. The service is great. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is exceptional. A great local Thai food restaurant on Naples Island.

Very beautiful and chic chill space! Super clean dining area, with a large view window into the kitchen where you can see the Thai chefs creating magic! The staff is super friendly, and very accommodating! They genuinely want you to enjoy the food, and your experience-and encourage feedback, just in case you're not completely happy with your dish... that said.. NO complaints about the food-it was all DELICIOUS!! I would have included a photo, but I truthfully ate my main course too fast to remember to take one haha! It was the BEST Pad Prig Khing I've ever had!! (Green beans sautéed in home-made Thai curry sauce w kaffir lime leaves) it was truly amazing, and my new favorite!! The dessert is perfect and simple, as it should be, as the most traditional Thai sweet treat. Prepared beautifully, and just as mouth watering to taste! The owner is still the main chef and cooking, and I'm so happy to have made my visit while her expert skills were on hand-she's equally as sweet as her Mango sticky rice. :) So happy I discovered this hidden gem!!
