Came here last night with my daughters and we have a great experience! The customer service was great. We were greeted very friendly. We order the seafood soup without muscle and it was fantastic. The flavor was so delicious and soup was nice and hot. We also got the fried jerky it came with a side salad and chili sauce that was so tasty but spicy ! I had a Thai tea and it was perfect ! We finished with a mango sticky rice and it was so good . We were so full we took some of it home. The portion of food was reasonable for pricing. The interior of the place is nice and clean. Very fancy place. We will definitely come back . Mink quantum use to be our favorite place but I'm glad Royal took over and give us some what memories of the old spot

Great food. Great service and food portions are huge! Definitely a must try. It's furnished with new furniture and a very clean environment.

Pad Thai, Chicken friend rice and seafood soup!

Boat noodles for $20 not worth. Portions were bad. The soup didn't taste that good for Thai boat noodles. Beef was not that tender.

A great recommendation for anyone bouncing around downtown…read more Located in the historic, swanky, tiny but spunky "East Village" neighborhood. The feel is dark, sexy and moody and connected to a neighborhood dive bar historically known for its speak easy feel and infamous karaoke performances on Wednesday's. The food is sexy, well-prepared with a family feel that takes you away to Thailand even if you are just in Long Beach's corn-pocket neighborhood. The prices are affordable, the service is worth the wait and the help are always smiling.

For this particular review, I am reviewing an order I got delivered using Grubhub. I decided to try something new - usually I get their glass noodle salad or either the yellow or green curry with rice. Yesterday I ordered the Thai basil plate with chicken and a side of rice. I got two lunches out of it - very flavorful and filling without being too salty or oily, which is a plus. I knocked down one star because I also ordered an iced lemongrass tea and it tasted like pure sugar/syrup! The lemongrass flavor was still there, but it was wayyy too sweet. I could only drink half. Today I filled the rest of the cup with water and it was still too sweet. I'll have to ask if they make a sugar-free version, or if the sweetness level can be adjusted because I definitely do not feel great after drinking that, haha.

We tried this place for the first time and this has to be one of our favorites! The place is very clean with friendly service, but the food is amazing! We ordered the Tom Yum soup, crispy bok choy, spicy pad thai, chicken fried rice & the garlic shrimp noodles. Each of us had a different favorite dish but we loved them all. The table next to us ordered an entirely different selection of dishes and they loved it as well so we will be back to try some of their favorites. When we walked in, I immediately felt underdressed because the inside of the restaurant was decorated so nicely! The only slightly off-putting thing was how many flies there were because of the hot weather, but luckily the restaurant was prepared with little fans/propellers to keep them away from the food so it wasn't a problem while we were eating. We started with the crab rangoons, which we devoured. You can't go wrong with those and I'm glad they had it on their menu! For our mains, we tried the pad see ew and the panang curry. The pad see ew was great in flavor. I wish there were more veggies and that the beef was a bit less dry but it was not a big deal and still delicious. The panang curry was spicy and nutty. The tenderloin was the best part and practically melted in my mouth! Of course we got thai teas, which were very sweet. They were also huge and definitely shareable. Service was okay, we had to ask multiple times for certain things but they were busy so it is understandable. Definitely a great thai place for date night or plans with friends, but it seems to get pretty crowded so expect a wait! I'd probably come back to try more of their menu.

I didn't see a parking lot but plenty of neighborhood parking. It was a nice, upbeat atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming. The food was delicious! The staff were very attentive without using words. My water cup was never empty and used plates were removed quickly. I appreciated that they allowed me time to enjoy my food before checking on me. We arrived before 7pm and got seated after 42mins in line. There was a line outside when we arrived even in the pouring rain. Also take note that parking is pretty hard in this area. We parked on the side street after circling around 3x. Upon seating, the staffs were warm and friendly. Interior design was nice and cozy upon entering even if the place was a little tight. We ordered Pad Thai, Khao Soi, Chicken Satay, Mango Sticky Rice and Nam Prik Ong. All dishes were quick to arrive so we were able to enjoy everything as it is served altogether. It's our first time trying Khao Soi so we don't have a base to compare it with but the broth is soo good! It was rich and creamy, and the egg noodles are al dente, it was chewy! The Pad Thai had a strong fish sauce taste, no peanuts but was seasoned perfectly its so good we devoured it! We were just a little underwhelmed with the Nam Prik Ong which had a lot of veggies included in it, and the Chicken Satay. All the portions were big on all the dishes, we were so full even before trying the dessert. Their Mango Sticky Rice has the perfect balance of sweetness from the cream and the tanginess from the Mango. All in all a good experience, definitely worth the wait in line if you're into Thai food!

Well, I figure before I start on the new pile of reviews I need to write from my road trip, I…read moreshould probably also finish the reviews I needed to write from *before* my road trip, like this relatively nearby Thai place we went to now about 3 months ago, that I wrote down notes for and never posted, cause life is overwhelming. Anyway, now about 3 months ago... we were here around lunchtime on a Saturday, cause we were in the area, and hadn't tried it yet. Service was great with one weight hiccup. We sat down and had water in front of us and our order taken basically immediately. Ordered a pad se ew, khao soi ($16 each for the entrees), and a large Thai tea ($7) to share. The pad ke mow and the Thai tea came out basically immediately. We'd already drunk all our water and had someone come back out to refill it, when the khao soi showed up about 15 minutes later with no mention of the delay. (We also got our check and paid quickly when we were done. Dunno what happened with the khao soi.) The Thai tea was great, and if you're sharing it with someone, 7 bucks is a great price for basically two Thai teas. The pad se ew - the first dish we always judge a Thai place on, being one of both of our favorite Thai dishes - was excellent. Great noodles, perfectly cooked and seasoned, with plenty of Chinese broccoli (I always like to call out the places that use inferior, wrong American broccoli instead, as was *not* the case here). 16 bucks, but that seems to be the going rate these days for Thai food (I remember when it was like half that much...), and you get a good portion. Good portion on the khao soi too. Wonderfully delicious crispy chicken, and a good amount of it. Great curry. Slightly too many crispy noodles, slightly not enough of the regular king - noodle-wise, just ok. In terms of khao soi, ST Noodle is definitely still the gold standard, with Thai District in 2nd. This could be 3rd, though. "Medium" spicy also wasn't very spicy - my wife liked it; I liked it a lot more after adding a bunch of chili sauce.

But this place is a must. You know what to expect and the food is alway great so to be a regular is nice. Every time we stop by, there not usually a wait time even though it's pretty lively. We alway get seated pretty fast. The place isn't too big but decent in size with two sections available. Staff are alway so friendly and welcoming. That's a good sign and of course the food, another reason why we come here whenever we're in the area. I have my usual that's a must for me as I know what to expect. We tend to go with either their larb or papaya salad which both dish are quite tasty and flavorful. Spice level to your liking. This visit, the larb. Always served with a wedge of cabbage. The flavor is alway great and every bite, flavorful. Of course the only place that I alway get the boat noodles. I've had it at other places but this is my favorite in Long Beach. The broth is great and thick with all the meat. Chinese broccoli accompanied as well. It's comfort food and alway hits the spots. This time we've tried another dish that we've never had. The chili garlic fish with rice. We were informed that it would take about 15 minutes which was fine. Deep fried sole fillets with garlic and chili sauce served on top a bed of mixed salad. First off, there was loads of fish and it was quite tasty and the sauce, it was good. A dish that was quite tasty and great for sharing. Overall, the food has alway been great and service has always been excellent. Each and every meal have always been enjoyed. It's our go to in Long Beach.

The south facing bar area seats were taken up so we sat at a two person table (it's just wife and I). Luckily the seats were facing the screen so we were good. There were seats at the north facing bar but that tv is old, small and has horrible picture. It was dark and the resolution was horrible. I ordered duck curry and wife ordered tom yum soup. We also got an appetizer of the spare ribs. Waitress told us our table would not fit all the food and asked us to relocate. I told her we wanted to watch the game and she told us we can move to a table facing the tiny tv. I was pissed because we could really enjoy the game now, however she was right about the table. With three large bowls of food, two empty bowls for our soup, two glasses of water, two bowls of rice and the condiments rack, it did not fit a two person table. If only they would have allowed us to wait until a larger table cleared up or had she told us there was a larger table tv upstairs, that would have been helpful. We didn't find out until the end of the meal. Anyways service was great and attentive until it started getting busy. Then they were no where to be found. The duck curry was delicious. The meat was tender and the curry was just the right amount of spicy and sweet. Love the grapes and pineapples. The soup was good, wish it came in a pot like other places. It got cold really quick in a bowl. The spare ribs were very dry and salty, we took it home for our dogs.

We have full kitchens in all the rooms where we're staying along with plates and all the set ups. The rooms even have dishwashers! So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup.
