    Papaya salad (Lao style)
    Tammy N.

We got the papaya salad (Lao style) and boat noodle soup. This was one of the best boat noodles soups I've had! I love that they include tendon and a massive piece of tripe, and they're generous with the meat portion overall too. I had to give some of the meat to my boyfriend since there was a lot of it, but no complaints here. The soup was well balanced. It had a slight sweetness to it and the spice level was perfect. I got level 8 and it definitely had a kick, but it didn't overpower the dish. The papaya salad was great and reasonably priced compared to other places I've been to. The servers were very friendly. They were pretty busy but they still checked up on us and refilled our waters. Parking is tough since it's street parking only. I think this place is worth the effort though!

Our favorite place for a bowl of noodles. Boat noodles for him and Khao Soi for me. We've tried other dishes but always gravitate for the noodles as they're comforting. The staff is super friendly, nice and helpful. They'll bring anything you need pretty quickly. It's a whole in the wall so doesn't have lots of charm :-) but it gets the job done when craving noodles and a familiar face. Parking is a bit difficult, but worth it for a good Khao Soi.

Delicious food. Good service. Good drinks. Good ambiance but a little hot on a summer day. That's all you need to know. Come here and try. Thanks!

I've had a lot of Thai food in my life and I can confidently say that their Pad See Ew is among some of the best that I've tried. It was cooked fresh, the tofu was crispy, and the noodles were bouncy. The flavors were balanced as well. Super delicious.

After recently being in Thailand, we had a craving for Thai food. This place definitely has it going on.. Every dish we tried was excellent, we had fried shrimp appetizer, the papaya salad and whole fried trout. So so good! The service was impeccable, the place is quaint, and overall a wonderful experience. We took home mango sticky rice.. and that was just perfect!

everything went well had to make a yelp js to review best thai food out of thailand we got like an insane amount of food but each plate was amazing we were so full the portions are perfect the service was so fire immediately greeted all of us (like six of us) and everyone was very friendly constant check ins very helpful with the spice level we were the only ones i think very peaceful they were friendly to everyone who would come in EDIT! we got thai teas so flipping yummy bathroom were very clean cool decor just so amazing completely blown away not sure what dessert we got it had coconut and water chestnuts, first time trying it but wow we've been missing out 10/10 so fire we are full and beyond content thank you!! we live far or else we'd be regulars no doubt

I came here on a Monday evening to get dinner with some friends and had such a good time! Parking in this are can be a bit annoying but on a weekday it was not too bad. The restaurant itself is very cozy and cute, perfect for catching up. We got a couple items to share and loved them all! The Thai tea was delicious and I am glad I got the large size. The cream cheese wontons were so crispy and flavorful and I liked the sauce it came with. The pad see ew was also very delicious and the chicken paired well. The fried rice with honey chicken also had great flavor and was crispy. Definitely don't skip on the Khao Soi here since it is one the best I have tried! I wish the yellow curry was thicker and the chicken wasn't so tough, but the flavor was excellent. As for dessert, my friends enjoyed the mango sticky rice and I really liked the coconut ice cream. I will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! My wife and I were on 2nd street in Belmont and none of the restaurants appealed to us at that time. Yelp suggested this hole in a wall place on Broadway 15 minutes away, and boy, we're so glad we tried it. This was probably the most authentic Thai food I've had in my life. The ingredients were super fresh and it felt like they were home cooked. Parking can be a bit tough, but the food experience and very good service more than made up for it.

Came here over a holiday weekend, and the food did not disappoint. We started with the steamed gyoza dumplings--you can tell they're made fresh, and they were packed with flavor. I tried the fried trout for the first time, and it was excellent. I loved that it was served butterflied, and the dipping sauce was so good I even took extra to go. We also had the khao soi with chicken--absolutely amazing. I really appreciated the balance of sweetness and heat, and the chicken had a nice char without being drowned in broth. The green curry was another standout. It was full of fresh vegetables and fragrant basil, and I especially liked that the veggies were perfectly cooked, not overdone. Definitely will be back!

This place will destroy you with spice in the best way possible, it hurts so good and I kept going back for more. We ordered the Lao Style Papaya salad (mild), crispy pork appetizer, chili garlic fish special (mild) and garlic shrimp dry noodle (mild). Everything was mild but let me tell you I was sweating and my nose was running but I still kept eating. It was so flavorful. I would recommend everything we ordered. The only downside is the street parking. The place was clean and had a nice vibe. The service was great. Will come back for more. Cheers!

This place was amazing and I will 100% be back. Casual ambiance. No wait for a table. Food (N7 garlic beef bowl) was fantastic. Flavours included spicy slightly sweet, sour, acidic. The waiter recommended I try it with the green lime sauce, and it was a game changer. I ordered 3* spicy out of 10 and it was definitely still spicy for me (I am W H I T E). But it was still very good. Service was great. He foresaw I needed more napkins (hey spicy ) and I never had to ask for more water. I'll be back for sure and would recommend!!!

    Such great branding....love the decor!

This is my go-to for Thai food! I brought my out of town family here on a Sunday night for dinner and they were busy...good for them (bad for me lol). we were a party of 7 at 5:30 so service was a tad slow but they are always super nice and patient. Parking can be rough since it's on Broadway and there isn't much parking in the neighborhood. We parked a few blocks away but it's worth the walk. The decor is fun with dangling wooden spoons painted in fun colors. It's perfect for quaint, local, and authentic Thai food. Also, do yourself a favor and get the mango sticky rice!!!!!! It's a delicious warm hug.

No wait at 8pm on Friday. +1. Absolutely no park in the vicinity, you need to park a mile away and pray there's a like scooter. Service was quick and attentive +1. Vibes were chill and the menu is hella nice tbh. The food was so fire I will not lie. The Khao Soi 10/10. Crispy pork 9/10 so fire but wouldved liked thinner slices. Crab fried rice is always a banger and tbh don't need extra crab 9.5/10 Id come back for sure if there was parking.

One of the highlights is their Thai tea, which is served with a popsicle and seems to be one of their most popular items for good reason. It's fun, unique, and absolutely delicious. I also tried the salmon curry, which was something new for me, and I ended up loving it. The flavors were rich, balanced, and unlike anything I've ordered before. Another unexpected favorite was the wings. I'm usually not a big wings person, but these were surprisingly good--crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Kin was one of the only restaurants open until 10 PM. We were seated right away, and somehow the five of us sat in a private room. It was kind of late for me to eat anything really heavy so I just have my usual salad and it was the beef tenderloin salad. They serve it up with a lot of beef and less veggies. The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! The Thai tea itself was pretty standard, but that popsicle was like the icing on a cake. The places, modern and clean. Staff is helpful and nice. We have full kitchens in all the rooms where we're staying along with plates and all the set ups. The rooms even have dishwashers! So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. It was a good idea just to do take out and eat at the hotel here.

We were greeted and helped right away and got a place in the restaurant that fit us well. We ordered the veggie spring roll, tofu soup, beef pad thai and tom yum. The veggie spring roll tasted fresh and the sauce added a nice layer of flavor. Off the bat, the portion sizes for the tom yum and pad thai were VERY generous (from my experiences with Thai restaurants). The pad thai stood out and was absolutely delicious! The service did great with helping us out and attending to our requests. The ambiance was relaxed, and where we sat in the back was cool because there was upbeat music playing loud enough to muffle the surrounding sounds but still soft enough to have conversation at our table without needing to raise our voice. Overall, I'm glad I gave S T Noodle Bar a try! I'd recommend it!

While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. Definitely a place you can easily have a family style meal at! Crab and pork soup dumplings - really good flavor, wish there was slightly more soup in the dumpling! Would definitely get again, especially if you get their HH price Walnut shrimp - my new favorite walnut shrimp in the area! These came out nice and fresh, shrimp was cooked well, sauce was good balance of sweet and savory Beef noodle soup - broth was surprisingly not as hearty as the deep color would make you think, but still very full of beef flavor. The beef was very tender, melt in your mouth! Noodles were nicely bouncy with mild chew. Good option if you are in the mood for noodle soup Orange chicken - unfortunately seemed to be a mix of freshly cooked and an old order as some pieces were warmer than others. Good flavor, but chicken inside the breading was quite dry. Wish it was a bit saucier Shrimp wonton in chili oil - to me had a strange aftertaste.
