Chai Tea & Eggrolls & 11. Noodle House Special
    Juan G.

Pulled up to Pho Long Beach for a rainy date night, and it was exactly what we needed. The Thai tea was super sweet and refreshing. The egg rolls were crispy and fresh, especially with the lettuce and pickled carrots on the side. The pho hit really well on a cold night--the broth was rich and comforting, the noodles were perfect, and everything came out piping hot. The meat was a little chewy for me, but overall the bowl was still solid and satisfying. Cozy vibes, big portions, and quick service. Low-key the perfect spot for a rainy night out with your person.

Great place, great food, great service, been ordering from here for many years now and they've only gotten better over time. 5/5 from me.

This is my go to Pho spot it beats everywhere in Long Beach and you can even get filet mignon! They appears take care of you and the instrumental music of popular songs is always cool!

We decided to kick off the new year with some Pho and so we headed down to Pho Long Beach as our go-to Pho spot was closed on New Year's Day. I've heard great things about this establishment so I was actually quite excited to try this spot out! My boyfriend and I arrived to a server seating us immediately with a table ready for us. One thing I can solidify about this restaurant is that the service was definitely A1! We were tended to greatly throughout our visit which I really appreciated. The seating arrangement was bigger than I imagined but could easily manage to get a bit crowded as the tables are all quite close to each other. Now in terms of taste, here's the thing.. We ordered 2 Thai Tea's which were honestly phenomenal. I've had Thai Tea at various establishments over the years and I can vouch that Pho Long Beach offers the best one! As a matter of fact, I will honestly come here alone for the Thai Tea. As an appetizer we ordered the deep fried shrimp and it was really great! The shrimp was jumbo sized, yummy, and clean. The Pho dishes consisted of our usual; Rare Steak Pho's with mine including chicken breast. This establishment served me my chicken apart from my pho which I didn't mind at all. We both agreed that our Rare Steak was a little on the tougher side and that the quality of the rice noodles weren't that great. However, there's one thing I really couldn't overlook and that was how our broth was a little bland and much more oilier compared to other Pho establishments. I hate to say it, but my boyfriend and I both left with somewhat of an upset stomach immediately after our visit. I actually had to stop by the drugstore and grab some Alka-Seltzers to mend the stomachache. Overall, going forward I'll skip the food here and strictly stick to the Thai Tea. Thai Tea: 5/5 Pho: 3/5

#16 phở chín tái nạm (rare steak, well done brisket, and flank) = $12.50

3.5 stars! We ate here simply because of its convenient location. I ordered the #16 phở chín tái nạm ($12.50) which has rare steak, well done brisket, and flank. The phở comes out in very unassuming lightweight ceramic bowls - the kind you might find at your auntie's house. It looks like a $12.50 portion of phở. The broth tasted very clean and a bit underdeveloped. It lacked the rich body phở flavor, which might have explained why the restaurant was void of any aromatic phở smell. I guess if you leave the restaurant smelling squeaky fresh, there's a little something missing in that phở broth. Broth aside, they give you a generous portion of meat - though I didn't love the enormity of my flank slices. The phở was just good enough to satiate my craving, but not good enough to woo me back for another bowl. The menu offers a wide array of traditional Vietnamese dishes, so I may be back for that.q

    37. Fried Rice Combo with Shrimps, Beef and Chicken

I've been coming here for a great taste of pho ever since I was a kid! The fried rice and egg rolls are also very delicious! I usually get the combo fried rice and then we get the 6 egg rolls because the price for them is not bad at all and they are sort of long, so if you cut them in half its like you got 12! The staff have always been very attentive and kind. I hope they continue to thrive and definitely recommend giving a try if you're looking for a decent local spot for Pho!

A local gem! Small mom and pop shop. Their rice dishes are good, pho is just okay. Staff is kind. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Highly recommended!

I used to go here all the time but haven't gone in a while, the quality is still the same. I get the pho with rare steak and a side of egg rolls. Pho was nice and hot and broth was delicious, they put a lot of noodles as well. I usually finish all the noodles first then the broth but today it was the complete opposite, I finished my broth before my noodles, it's pretty plentiful. Egg rolls are a must! It comes with lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, radish, and cilantro with a fish sauce dipping sauce. All the vegetables are fresh and crunchy! We are greeted when we come in and get seated immediately, also food comes out FAST! less than 5 minutes of ordering we get our pho already, I kid you not it was so fast. I always enjoy the music they play too, it's instrumental peaceful music, I enjoy eating my meal with good music. Servers don't check up on you but they are friendly.

    I love the fortune here

If you're looking for a neighborhood pho spot that is quick, attentive, and friendly then this is the spot for you. I've been here 3x in one week. Originally i stopped by because I was craving a Vietnamese sandwich, chicken banh mi IYKYK. It looks like a lil whole in the wall so I thought this could lowkey be a hidden gem, and it was! When you walk in they smile at you, ask if you're dining in or out, and are just ready to feed your soul. The ambiance is rather casual, giving a historic feel. Based on the consistent traffic in and out this place I can tell they've been feeding the souls of Long Beach for a while. If you never tried a banh mi sandwich I highly recommend try the chicken one here and the beef broth and noodle pho. I'm so grateful this spot is local because I will be back again and again! Bonus: the ice here is so perfect for my ice lovers

Food is alright pretty dirty inside and after noticing they charged me for takeout boxes after dining, I won't be coming back. The fried rice was overly mushy and soggy.

Wow, ordered delivery earlier this week, then pickup today bc their (shredded) chicken pho and egg rolls are thee best!! Looking forward to trying other items. We highly recommend this place to anyone craving top-notch pho broth, rice noodles, shredded chicken and crispy umami egg rolls. Easy access to PLB off Willow and the 710 Fwy. Thank you!

Be careful with this people always check your receipt they want to charge 15%for tip for 5 peoples when their menu book it says six people or more they charge 15% . At first they mess up add 6 guest when it's was only 5 of us !!! They said doesn't matter like really! They just hungry money for tips all I know They need to update their tip if they going charge 5 or more!!!! Plus they didn't even bring us waters to our table I had to ask them for it we already got our foods but no water yet

Nowhere did it indicate that on the menu either, I guess he thought about it and came back with a salad for me and my husband to share and apologized. So into the meal the beef was tasty however the noodles were soaked in grease I didn't know how bad it was till I looked down at my shirt and my husband's shirt and saw all kinds of grease on our clothes that dripped off the noodles. The noodles were good but I don't believe all that grease was necessary as you can see in the photos it comes with green onions the sauce on it was tasty just not good or healthy with all that oil on it.

My friend and I shared a variety of dishes: -Student Noodle: If chow mein and pad thai had a baby, this would be that dish. Without the fish sauce, the noodles tasted like chow mein. This dish overall was good! While I would still opt for pad thai, the noodle texture was good and I enjoyed the flavors. We got this with crispy pork and it was tasty, but I wish it was crispier. I liked how it wasn't too fatty. -Fish Amok: It did not look like the picture, but the dish was still good. It was a sweet fish curry which was sweet from the coconut milk. This was tasty and the fish was soft. It wasn't fishy at all. This paired well with the rice. I would still opt for a savory curry though. -Beef Skewers: These were yummy and I enjoyed the charred flavor of these! The flavor was very similar to Filipino skewers. I liked how even the fatty parts were enjoyable. Steamed Rice: Fluffy and not mushy which I liked. It came served in this cute rice bucket which preserved the heat of it. The restaurant was decorated nicely and was pretty clean. Bathrooms available which were also clean. The service was good and attentive. There's lots of free parking in the lot in front. Walk inside and--on this Saturday, January 3rd--it's still decorated for Christmas, which somehow adds to the cozy, unpretentious vibe. It's around 2:30 p.m. and the place is packed, which is always a great sign. We ordered the chicken pho with ginger sauce and the brisket & rare steak pho. You get the classic sides--lime, bean sprouts, basil--and we also added the crispy egg rolls, which came out hot and crunchy with a satisfying bite. The pho arrived piping hot, deeply aromatic, and comforting in that way only a well-made broth can be. They give you chopsticks for the noodles and a large spoon for the soup--exactly how it should be. The portions are generous, especially for the price. Around $12 gets you a big, steaming bowl that feels like a full meal, not a tease. The broth is clean, rich, and balanced--not greasy, not salty--perfect for a cold, rainy Long Beach day on the Cambodia side of town. I took my time with it, savoring all the layers of flavor, especially after adding sriracha and hoisin (which is absolutely the move here). The beef was tender, the rare steak cooked perfectly in the hot broth, and the noodles held up all the way through. What really stood out was the atmosphere.
