Came here on a Sunday around 6pm no wait to be seated. Parking in tbe back. Big inside plenty of seating a bit outdated. Yes they had restrooms. Customer service was friendly. Ordered the thai tea it was great and the brisket pho it was good. The meat could've been a bit more tender and the broth was good wish it had a deeper flavor. All in all for taste to price good for a one time try.

Some of the best pho I've ever had. Flavorful broth that I didn't have to spend time doctoring up. My steak and brisket pho wad chock full of meat. The ladies that helped me were super nice. Service was quick. No complaints!

Loved that this place reopened. But, I was surprised with the meals that I got. I feel like recipes have changed? Could be just me. My pho broth was so salty. I didn't even need to add hoison sauce due to the broth being already salty. I'm so used to having pho broth being plain and, in a way, fresh. The spring rolls were mainly greens (lettuce and/or cabbage). Barely any vermicelli noodles and shrimp inside, all I was biting into was the lettuce. I did enjoy my meal regardless. Service was amazing, I came at 10am (opening) and was served right away. Friendly and nice staff. Glad to see the layout inside is the same, points for familiarity.

A few months ago I noticed this location reopened. I placed a delivery order a couple of times. Both times were pretty good so I was curious to go in person and get the whole experience. Let me start by saying that the customer service is 100/10. The servers were so lovely. Supper attentive. They answered all of my questions and were friendly, happy, with a smile on their face the whole time. I had some pho, egg rolls, plain noodles, and a thai iced tea to go. Everything was sooo Good! I really loved the atmosphere, very family friendly. They had the Dodgers game showing which was a huge plus. They also sell beer. I had not been to that location for a few years when they were under different management, and now that I had such a pleasant experience I am definitely looking forward to go back.

Rare steak pho take-out

I was so sad when Pho Daily had closed but was simultaneously thrilled to discover a new Pho restaurant had taken over its place. I find it almost difficult to find a Pho spot with a good broth but fortunately for me, Pho Express offers a really delicious broth. I've visited multiple times now since they've first opened 2 months ago and I've had great experiences so far. The rare steak pho is perfection asides from the minor critique of the meat being slightly too thick. I can overlook the thicker meat though as the rich broth is what's essential for me. In fact, I could literally drink the broth alone and be satisfied lol. The ambiance remains laidback and perfect for a date night or dinner with the family. Service is also friendly and speedy. If you're looking for a simple no-frills establishment that offers delicious pho, you've found the right place. Pho Express is where it's at. Support your local businesses! :)

I recently attended with my friends and we really enjoyed this place! Huge shoutout to our server -- managing our table of 10 during the lunch rush is no small task, but they did it with a smile the whole time. Orders came out fast, everyone got exactly what they wanted, and they made us feel totally taken care of. The pho was so rich in flavor but the egg rolls were the star of the show! The Vietnamese iced coffee with super strong and bitter if you like that, it wasn't my cup of tea.

Gross old little bit of basil they told me was "packed fresh with the order". The jalapeños and lime were slimy. 3. Pho Filet Mignon

Quick service and portions here are irregular but mostly good. I know it's just a topping but I've never gotten fresh basil with a to go order. This basil might have been packed last year. I've asked about it several times I've ordered here and it's always bad. I called again to let them know they really need to check it before and they told me they asked the kitchen and they said it's was "freshly packed just now with the order" okay I tried to be nice but what a lie and this is officially exhausting. I'm tired of no basil and old bean sprouts with my pho. I'm going up the street in the future.

I wanted a side of the meatballs.

Saw it was under new management so we tried it again, greeted with a smiling server. A little too warm for the climate . But the Pho flavors and the service is beyond so much better. Plenty of room for huge parties if needed. Service was so great. Definitely recommend.

My entire childhood this place was a Mexican restaurant. Hadn't been back in the area for years. My daughter called me up and asked about going to dinner. We both asked what we were feeling and after a small conversation she said she wasn't feeling very well and was thinking soup so I went to work. Pho it is if that's what my baby girl wants. Found this spot and was pleasantly surprised finding that my childhood spot had changed. The place was clean the staff was amazing and the food was great. The broth was spot on plenty of sides. We also went with a bbq pork sandwich and it also was worth mention. Overall sad to see the Mexican restaurant gone but glad to see they filled the spot with good quality food and employees.

Orange chicken was Soo Awesome!! Especially with thadditon of vermicelli along with it! It's my new favorite order yummm

Order 4 inch chicken was so awesome. Didn't know they delivered but when they got here, I was so surprised at how everything tasted so perfectly put together!! Definitely my new favorite order

The food was good! It was exactly what I was looking for. We showed up an hour before closing, they attended us with great service and the ambiance was solid. The pho was just what I wanted and needed for the rainy day!

Ordered take out from here 2.9.26 and will definitely be ordering again. This chilly weather called for soup so we wanted to try this place out after seeing so many great reviews. I ordered the well done brisket pho and it was delicious. The broth was super tasty the meat was a good cut. My husband ordered the chicken pad thai and he was very happy with his food, so much flavor! We also ordered the brisket spring rolls and wow! Give this place a try!

Once seated, they were fairly quick to come and take our order. We ordered: 1. Satay chicken 2. Yellow Curry with Chicken 3. Beef Pad See Ew and 4. Shrimp Pad Thai Everything was absolutely amazing! Walk inside and--on this Saturday, January 3rd--it's still decorated for Christmas, which somehow adds to the cozy, unpretentious vibe. It's around 2:30 p.m. and the place is packed, which is always a great sign. We ordered the chicken pho with ginger sauce and the brisket & rare steak pho. You get the classic sides--lime, bean sprouts, basil--and we also added the crispy egg rolls, which came out hot and crunchy with a satisfying bite. The pho arrived piping hot, deeply aromatic, and comforting in that way only a well-made broth can be. They give you chopsticks for the noodles and a large spoon for the soup--exactly how it should be. The portions are generous, especially for the price. Around $12 gets you a big, steaming bowl that feels like a full meal, not a tease. The broth is clean, rich, and balanced--not greasy, not salty--perfect for a cold, rainy Long Beach day on the Cambodia side of town. I took my time with it, savoring all the layers of flavor, especially after adding sriracha and hoisin (which is absolutely the move here). The beef was tender, the rare steak cooked perfectly in the hot broth, and the noodles held up all the way through. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There's mellow, calming music playing in the background that makes the whole lunch experience feel peaceful and grounding--no rush, no noise chaos, just people enjoying good food. Come hungry. They give you a lot of food, and it's the kind of meal that's hard to stop eating even when you're full. Pho 881 delivers comfort, consistency, and value--exactly what you want from a neighborhood pho spot.

Needless to say, I ain't listening anymore!!! So this place was rated by a (crappy) Influencer a 5 star rating. Did he have taste buds? Has he ever tried pho before? What made him the authority on great Pho? I have so many questions! HIGH PASS. NOPE. NOT THIS PLACE. I walked in, found a table, sat alone for 5 min waiting for someone to bring me a menu....i had to go to the counter and ring the bell. Turns out, the owner was sitting there the whole time looking at his phone and didn't even hear me come in. Got the combo. Another guy came out to serve it with no gloves on and half a finger in my soup bowl. Not to mention, the soup bowl was quite dirty on the outside. The basil leaves had black spots on them and there was nothing I could write home about this soup, pho or beef bits. It's SoCal baby! There is so much Pho competition here. Don't believe the self titled (looking for free food) Influencers. I would not step in this joint ever again. 0/10 PASS.

So, i went on the hunt for a new one. I recently found this Cyclo Noodles just down the street from my place. And today, i decided to give it a try. Cyclo Noodles is a casual and laid back, family owned Vietnamese and Cambodian restaurant in Long Beach, CA. It is situated at the traffic circle in the recently renovated shopping center adjacent to the Sprouts supermarket and other small restaurants. It is a self service model where you order first at the kiosk and take a seat. They have seating inside and outside. There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. According to Google, it is their only location. it is known for its pho, noodle dishes, and other comfort foods. Their menu is varied with Vietnamese, Cambodian & Thai specialties including dishes such as pho (with beef, chicken, vegetable), vermicelli noodle dishes, and fresh spring rolls. Their Thai options include Pad Thai, Pad See Iew, and Chicken Curry Vermicelli. For Vegetarian options, they offer vegetarian pho, tofu spring rolls, and other plant-based options. They also serve Pineapple Fried Rice, Phnom Penh Noodle, and various salads. (See photos for full menu) Today, i placed my order on their website. It is simple and intuitive. The menu is easy to read and offers customization options with quick apple pay checkout. The service is quick and friendly and my food was ready faster than the time allowed. By the time i received my text message telling me that my food was ready, i was already in my vehicle and on my way home. I got an order of spring rolls with shrimp. You get 3 large rolls. I got an order of beef on a stick. You get 3 Sticks. And I got a Thai Iced tea. Overall Everything was tasty. The beef was somewhat tender and my only complaint is that half of my beef was marble (fat) and therefore inedible. Otherwise, that won't keep me from going back to explore some of the other items on the menu and i recommend trying Cyclo Noodles for your next Vietnamese food fix.
