    Thai tea
    Norma S.

Came here on a Sunday around 6pm no wait to be seated. Parking in tbe back. Big inside plenty of seating a bit outdated. Yes they had restrooms. Customer service was friendly. Ordered the thai tea it was great and the brisket pho it was good. The meat could've been a bit more tender and the broth was good wish it had a deeper flavor. All in all for taste to price good for a one time try.

Loved that this place reopened. But, I was surprised with the meals that I got. I feel like recipes have changed? Could be just me. My pho broth was so salty. I didn't even need to add hoison sauce due to the broth being already salty. I'm so used to having pho broth being plain and, in a way, fresh. The spring rolls were mainly greens (lettuce and/or cabbage). Barely any vermicelli noodles and shrimp inside, all I was biting into was the lettuce. I did enjoy my meal regardless. Service was amazing, I came at 10am (opening) and was served right away. Friendly and nice staff. Glad to see the layout inside is the same, points for familiarity.

Some of the best pho I've ever had. Flavorful broth that I didn't have to spend time doctoring up. My steak and brisket pho wad chock full of meat. The ladies that helped me were super nice. Service was quick. No complaints!

A few months ago I noticed this location reopened. I placed a delivery order a couple of times. Both times were pretty good so I was curious to go in person and get the whole experience. Let me start by saying that the customer service is 100/10. The servers were so lovely. Supper attentive. They answered all of my questions and were friendly, happy, with a smile on their face the whole time. I had some pho, egg rolls, plain noodles, and a thai iced tea to go. Everything was sooo Good! I really loved the atmosphere, very family friendly. They had the Dodgers game showing which was a huge plus. They also sell beer. I had not been to that location for a few years when they were under different management, and now that I had such a pleasant experience I am definitely looking forward to go back.

I was so sad when Pho Daily had closed but was simultaneously thrilled to discover a new Pho restaurant had taken over its place. I find it almost difficult to find a Pho spot with a good broth but fortunately for me, Pho Express offers a really delicious broth. I've visited multiple times now since they've first opened 2 months ago and I've had great experiences so far. The rare steak pho is perfection asides from the minor critique of the meat being slightly too thick. I can overlook the thicker meat though as the rich broth is what's essential for me. In fact, I could literally drink the broth alone and be satisfied lol. The ambiance remains laidback and perfect for a date night or dinner with the family. Service is also friendly and speedy. If you're looking for a simple no-frills establishment that offers delicious pho, you've found the right place. Pho Express is where it's at. Support your local businesses! :)

I recently attended with my friends and we really enjoyed this place! Huge shoutout to our server -- managing our table of 10 during the lunch rush is no small task, but they did it with a smile the whole time. Orders came out fast, everyone got exactly what they wanted, and they made us feel totally taken care of. The pho was so rich in flavor but the egg rolls were the star of the show! The Vietnamese iced coffee with super strong and bitter if you like that, it wasn't my cup of tea.

My entire childhood this place was a Mexican restaurant. Hadn't been back in the area for years. My daughter called me up and asked about going to dinner. We both asked what we were feeling and after a small conversation she said she wasn't feeling very well and was thinking soup so I went to work. Pho it is if that's what my baby girl wants. Found this spot and was pleasantly surprised finding that my childhood spot had changed. The place was clean the staff was amazing and the food was great. The broth was spot on plenty of sides. We also went with a bbq pork sandwich and it also was worth mention. Overall sad to see the Mexican restaurant gone but glad to see they filled the spot with good quality food and employees.

Gross old little bit of basil they told me was "packed fresh with the order". The jalapeños and lime were slimy. 3. Pho Filet Mignon

Quick service and portions here are irregular but mostly good. I know it's just a topping but I've never gotten fresh basil with a to go order. This basil might have been packed last year. I've asked about it several times I've ordered here and it's always bad. I called again to let them know they really need to check it before and they told me they asked the kitchen and they said it's was "freshly packed just now with the order" okay I tried to be nice but what a lie and this is officially exhausting. I'm tired of no basil and old bean sprouts with my pho. I'm going up the street in the future.

Orange chicken was Soo Awesome!! Especially with thadditon of vermicelli along with it! It's my new favorite order yummm

Order 4 inch chicken was so awesome. Didn't know they delivered but when they got here, I was so surprised at how everything tasted so perfectly put together!! Definitely my new favorite order

Saw it was under new management so we tried it again, greeted with a smiling server. A little too warm for the climate . But the Pho flavors and the service is beyond so much better. Plenty of room for huge parties if needed. Service was so great. Definitely recommend.

Very pleased I found this pho place in Long Beach, well North Long Beach. We were looking for a pho place in DTLB but didn't want to go to the only one there because it wasn't good so we were willing to drive out. To our surprise, this pho place satisfied our cravings! I was told they were opened about 4 months ago. We got confused when we came in, thinking we accidentally went to a Mexican restaurant but it is indeed a pho place and I love that!!!!! All the staff were super nice and the food was so good! Pho was spot on and my coworker's eggrolls smelled delish and she finished them all! I also love their fish tank in the middle of the place! Will def come back to try more dishes! Highly recs!

Nowhere did it indicate that on the menu either, I guess he thought about it and came back with a salad for me and my husband to share and apologized. So into the meal the beef was tasty however the noodles were soaked in grease I didn't know how bad it was till I looked down at my shirt and my husband's shirt and saw all kinds of grease on our clothes that dripped off the noodles. The noodles were good but I don't believe all that grease was necessary as you can see in the photos it comes with green onions the sauce on it was tasty just not good or healthy with all that oil on it.

My friend and I shared a variety of dishes: -Student Noodle: If chow mein and pad thai had a baby, this would be that dish. Without the fish sauce, the noodles tasted like chow mein. This dish overall was good! While I would still opt for pad thai, the noodle texture was good and I enjoyed the flavors. We got this with crispy pork and it was tasty, but I wish it was crispier. I liked how it wasn't too fatty. -Fish Amok: It did not look like the picture, but the dish was still good. It was a sweet fish curry which was sweet from the coconut milk. This was tasty and the fish was soft. It wasn't fishy at all. This paired well with the rice. I would still opt for a savory curry though. -Beef Skewers: These were yummy and I enjoyed the charred flavor of these! The flavor was very similar to Filipino skewers. I liked how even the fatty parts were enjoyable. Steamed Rice: Fluffy and not mushy which I liked. It came served in this cute rice bucket which preserved the heat of it. The restaurant was decorated nicely and was pretty clean. Bathrooms available which were also clean. The service was good and attentive. There's lots of free parking in the lot in front. Walk inside and--on this Saturday, January 3rd--it's still decorated for Christmas, which somehow adds to the cozy, unpretentious vibe. It's around 2:30 p.m. and the place is packed, which is always a great sign. We ordered the chicken pho with ginger sauce and the brisket & rare steak pho. You get the classic sides--lime, bean sprouts, basil--and we also added the crispy egg rolls, which came out hot and crunchy with a satisfying bite. The pho arrived piping hot, deeply aromatic, and comforting in that way only a well-made broth can be. They give you chopsticks for the noodles and a large spoon for the soup--exactly how it should be. The portions are generous, especially for the price. Around $12 gets you a big, steaming bowl that feels like a full meal, not a tease. The broth is clean, rich, and balanced--not greasy, not salty--perfect for a cold, rainy Long Beach day on the Cambodia side of town. I took my time with it, savoring all the layers of flavor, especially after adding sriracha and hoisin (which is absolutely the move here). The beef was tender, the rare steak cooked perfectly in the hot broth, and the noodles held up all the way through. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There's mellow, calming music playing in the background that makes the whole lunch experience feel peaceful and grounding--no rush, no noise chaos, just people enjoying good food. Come hungry.
