Came here late around 10:30 pm. The place is busy. Ban Mih is $9 with really hot buns and hot Bbq Chicken, Bbq Beef. Pho soups for $18. Ordered two House special are great tasting and full of beef. Service is fast food came out in 5 mins. Chef prepared just like the speedy Gonzales.

Everything was great from the Service the Customer Service the food was delicious and amazing they give you so much for a very decent price !!! We came in to this place, not knowing to expect on a Friday night and was seated and served our beverages in our food right away. The beverages were nice and cold and the food was just hot enough to eat. There is a big enough parking in the back and you can also enter in from the back door as well as a front door. If you park in the street in the front of the restaurant. We will definitely be back again.

Came in 2/9/26 for a late 2pm lunch. Was quickly sat and serviced. Ordered a small chicken pho and a jasmine hot tea w/honey. Was a filling bowl of Pho with decent broth flavor. Tea hit the spot. If you have a craving or it's cold outside come on in for a quick bite to eat! (It will be raining soon) Perfect pho weather! Would come back again!

Came here on a Sunday around 6pm no wait to be seated. Parking in tbe back. Big inside plenty of seating a bit outdated. Yes they had restrooms. Customer service was friendly. Ordered the thai tea it was great and the brisket pho it was good. The meat could've been a bit more tender and the broth was good wish it had a deeper flavor. All in all for taste to price good for a one time try.

Loved that this place reopened. But, I was surprised with the meals that I got. I feel like recipes have changed? Could be just me. My pho broth was so salty. I didn't even need to add hoison sauce due to the broth being already salty. I'm so used to having pho broth being plain and, in a way, fresh. The spring rolls were mainly greens (lettuce and/or cabbage). Barely any vermicelli noodles and shrimp inside, all I was biting into was the lettuce. I did enjoy my meal regardless. Service was amazing, I came at 10am (opening) and was served right away. Friendly and nice staff. Glad to see the layout inside is the same, points for familiarity.

A few months ago I noticed this location reopened. I placed a delivery order a couple of times. Both times were pretty good so I was curious to go in person and get the whole experience. Let me start by saying that the customer service is 100/10. The servers were so lovely. Supper attentive. They answered all of my questions and were friendly, happy, with a smile on their face the whole time. I had some pho, egg rolls, plain noodles, and a thai iced tea to go. Everything was sooo Good! I really loved the atmosphere, very family friendly. They had the Dodgers game showing which was a huge plus. They also sell beer. I had not been to that location for a few years when they were under different management, and now that I had such a pleasant experience I am definitely looking forward to go back.

Some of the best pho I've ever had. Flavorful broth that I didn't have to spend time doctoring up. My steak and brisket pho wad chock full of meat. The ladies that helped me were super nice. Service was quick. No complaints!

I was so sad when Pho Daily had closed but was simultaneously thrilled to discover a new Pho restaurant had taken over its place. I find it almost difficult to find a Pho spot with a good broth but fortunately for me, Pho Express offers a really delicious broth. I've visited multiple times now since they've first opened 2 months ago and I've had great experiences so far. The rare steak pho is perfection asides from the minor critique of the meat being slightly too thick. I can overlook the thicker meat though as the rich broth is what's essential for me. In fact, I could literally drink the broth alone and be satisfied lol. The ambiance remains laidback and perfect for a date night or dinner with the family. Service is also friendly and speedy. If you're looking for a simple no-frills establishment that offers delicious pho, you've found the right place. Pho Express is where it's at. Support your local businesses! :)

I recently attended with my friends and we really enjoyed this place! Huge shoutout to our server -- managing our table of 10 during the lunch rush is no small task, but they did it with a smile the whole time. Orders came out fast, everyone got exactly what they wanted, and they made us feel totally taken care of. The pho was so rich in flavor but the egg rolls were the star of the show! The Vietnamese iced coffee with super strong and bitter if you like that, it wasn't my cup of tea.

Service 10/10 food 100/10 ambience 10/10 note: parking is on the street no restaurant parking. I came on a Sunday night so parking wasn't an issue.

My entire childhood this place was a Mexican restaurant. Hadn't been back in the area for years. My daughter called me up and asked about going to dinner. We both asked what we were feeling and after a small conversation she said she wasn't feeling very well and was thinking soup so I went to work. Pho it is if that's what my baby girl wants. Found this spot and was pleasantly surprised finding that my childhood spot had changed. The place was clean the staff was amazing and the food was great. The broth was spot on plenty of sides. We also went with a bbq pork sandwich and it also was worth mention. Overall sad to see the Mexican restaurant gone but glad to see they filled the spot with good quality food and employees.

Quick service and portions here are irregular but mostly good. I know it's just a topping but I've never gotten fresh basil with a to go order. This basil might have been packed last year. I've asked about it several times I've ordered here and it's always bad. I called again to let them know they really need to check it before and they told me they asked the kitchen and they said it's was "freshly packed just now with the order" okay I tried to be nice but what a lie and this is officially exhausting. I'm tired of no basil and old bean sprouts with my pho. I'm going up the street in the future.

The food and service were great. Wonderful pho and jasmine iced tea. Hubby loved his orange chicken with rice and salad. Mexican Coke too! They played Mexican music and all the workers were Latino. It worked! Mexican chefs know from flavor and this was some of the best pho I've ever had. Definitely got our money's worth and we'll definitely be back again. Gave this new place a shot and I can say I'd come back. We ordered the pho brisket, egg rolls, fries, beef banh mi, and Thai teas. The fries and banh mi were fresh and decent, nice to have the option of a sandwich aside from pho. The pho itself was really good though. I would definitely return for the pho. I came with my family to dine here. From all the outstanding reviews, we wanted to check for ourselves. We were greeted by friendly staff. There was not a long line so we were seated right away. I visited this pho restaurant today and was genuinely blown away. The food was absolutely delicious rich broth, fresh ingredients, and such comforting flavors. You can tell they put a lot of care into every bowl.What made the experience even better was the staff. The owners and team were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive. They made me feel right at home and checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. Delicious! First time trying this location under new ownership. I ordered the Pho Rare Steak large, and the serving size was generous! As a long time pho lover, I am very picky about broths and theirs so perfectly savory and a bit sweet. My boyfriend had the chicken fried rice which was also delicious. The servers were attentive, fast, and so nice. They even gave us both complimentary Thai teas. The restaurant itself was clean, which SO MUCH ROOM. Would be great for large groups or family gatherings. Also plenty of parking in the back. I recommend that you give this place a try! read more

Pho was decent, but does have a sweet taste. However the worker was rude, we asked our waitress if we were able to switch tables she said yes so we switched, as soon as we sit another lady comes running saying we had to move and we can't sit there in a very rude and loud tone. We told her someone already said it was ok and she still said we needed to move. Food 7/10 customer service 2/10 read more

A couple things to know before you go: parking isn't great, and the restaurant gets busy. We showed up around 5:00 p.m. and only waited about 20 minutes, but I could see larger parties having a much longer wait. My go-to dish is the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant with chicken. It's a Thai basil stir-fry with eggplant, onion, and Thai chilis, and I absolutely love it. We also ordered the mussel curry, which my friend picked, and it completely surprised me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was excellent. The standout, though, was the Khao Soi Noodle Soup with sliced rib-eye beef. Somehow I'd never ordered the dish they're most famous for, and now I understand why. It absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth with the rib-eye was incredible and is something I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time. My biggest criticism is that the rice portions feel smaller than they used to. With how much delicious curry and sauce you get, I found myself wishing there was just a little more rice to soak everything up. I also noticed that the green beans in the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant are very al dente. Personally, I'd prefer if they were blanched just a bit so they were slightly more tender. If the goal is to add texture, I'd almost rather see crunch come from something like cashews instead--but that's just my preference. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice and another dessert with sweet milk dumplings and red beans. Both were fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Vibes of the restaurant are great. It's a small venue, but they work quickly, and a staff was very welcoming. Overall, Chiang Rai continues to be my favorite Thai spot in Southern California. If it's your first visit, the Khao Soi with sliced rib-eye is absolutely the dish I'd tell you to order.

Very casual place inside but there were plenty of people inside eating and the taste of the noodles tells me this is one of those places you go for the food and not necessarily the ambience. My mom always took me to all these non fancy places to eat but the food was always amazing. It was packaged well and to the brim! Definitely will have leftovers! The food came out quickly after I ordered it so I had a minimal wait. I'll come by again for some other Thai food!
