I think I got overcharged with taxes, because my meal was about $25 pre tax then i was charged $31, that didn't seem right to me.

After all, it is fusion cuisine that combined a common Mongolian dish with American fast-food culture. It was satisfying to pile on the frozen, sliced meats (beef, pork, chicken, turkey) and veggies into the bowl yourself. The selection was broader than most salad bars. Paired with their noodles and a generous portion of garlic and pepper sauce, the concoction grilled on a gigantic iron plate gave out such tantalizing aroma it would whet any appetite (and draw more customers into the restaurant). It's a stretch to actually call it a restaurant, because you order at the counter and everything is self-served, including the utensils. There isn't much counter dining space to accommodate many diners, but the food court is just outside the store and it wasn't hard to find myself a table. The food came out pretty hot, so pace yourself without burning your mouth. The smell made it hard to wait before taking the first bite. The frozen meat shriveled upon being seared, so there might seem less than you remembered when you put them in the bowl. Because the meats weren't marinated, they might be a bit bland if not consumed with the saucy noodle. The grilled onion and green onion were the best part of my dish. Overall, it was a good place to get a quick lunch. The sauce was quite salty, and I was thirsty for the rest of the afternoon.

The noodles and the taste were not the same. One serving easily feeds 2-3 people; but unfortunately I was not aware of this and my daughter and I ordered separately. We ended up tossing most of it because it just didn't taste good. Place did not appear clean so we took our food to go. Will not be back.

I've tried almost everything on the menu over the years, from orange chicken to the short ribs, and most dishes are delicious. The portions are huge and perfect for sharing family-style, especially with larger groups. They've always handled big parties well, though I'd definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time since they can get busy. The ambiance is probably the one area that could use some improvement, but the food and portions more than make up for it. If it's your first time, I'd recommend the chicken corn soup, sweet and sour chicken, green onion paratha, and Mongolian beef.

Condiments in the tables have a slimy film on them obviously not cleaned in some time. We should have left but thought the food may be different. There were pieces of beef in the rice that were dried out and had a bad taste as if food stored in a freezer the quickly thawed. Overall it was a huge disappointment. Gross, dirty. And they come to your table in hurry making us feel like we need to hurray and get out so that can seat others and make more money. Very Bad!! Look at the "inside" photos on yelp. That will explain

American Chinese menu with nearly every menu item expected from one, in addition to some boba teas. I ordered the Combination Fried Rice, a common menu item. Soups look good, but they only come in one size--large, so I had to pass on it since the entree is too much food already. The fried rice is made to order. Staff are friendly but not too chatty. The cook in the back did give me a friendly wave when he was done preparing my food and that was as friendly touch. The food was packaged securely in a takeout container with napkins, a packet of sriracha, soy sauce, and a fork but no spoon. I took my lunch back to my hotel room. It would've been easier if I had a spoon but overall it was tasty and met expectations. As I am in Long Beach on conference, I don't know if I'll ever get to Wa Wa again but I'd certainly recommend it for a quick takeout lunch if you're in the area!

They have an ipad outside to sign up if it starts to get busy. We ordered the pork noodle (you have the option to do it wet or dry-we chose dry) and the beef noodle soup. The dry noodles come with a side soup as well. My husband really liked the dry noodles since it was well seasoned. The beef noodle soup (with combo noodle types) was good as well. The soup seems very clean and rich with flavor. I would prefer to have some sort of pickled serrano peppers though to give it a citrus and spicy taste to balance out the savory soup. We also got some fried donuts which paired well with the soup. Very quick service and the food came out quick. Definitely a mom and pop shop but with a good amount of indoor seating as well.

I noticed that the food has changed since the last time I visited. I used to like the kimchi because it would be a nice side dish to cool down. Now I am not a professional when it comes to kimchi, but the ones they make now just taste bitter. Also, the coconut shrimp used to be crispy before, but now it tastes so soft. The ambiance is pleasant when not crowded, sometimes it would be filled with people from line to line because of special days. But overall, you get a good seating place to make up for the food. I don't know what happened to it, but the buffet used to have a fried ball with crab meat and teriyaki sauce. I wonder if they still have that item or if I just came at the wrong time. It also came with some type of brown sauce which I couldn't tell what it was, a bit sour- I didn't love it. The chive scallion pancake was veryyyy crispy very fried but alas it was tasty.
