ETA: I called the restaurant and they made things right. Will order from Corner 10th again. Hopefully this was a one off thing. The food is usually really good, but tonight was an exception. I ordered the brisket and at least 3/4 of the "brisket" was a large chunk of fat. No meat whatsoever. The right side of the full meal is the fat, left is the meat. Mind you, a lot of the meat on the left was fat. I know that's what gives the meat flavor, but you shouldn't be serving that to customers. Unfortunately Uber Eats won't refund part of the order so I'm stuck with a .25 pounds of fat, not actual meat. read more

Placed an order to go. When I arrived to the counter, the lady there seemed to be so uninterested in helping me. As if I was bothering her. She handed me my bag and with her behavior I avoided asking for utensils when I looked that they were not in the bag and I had requested them. Don't look forward to coming to eat in person if that is a small glimpse of what it will be like. The only thing I enjoyed of my 3 meats was the brisket(rib tips and pork ribs were dry). Our son wanted bbq for his birthday so we took him to The Corner 10th's bbq. We got the Hobo plate and 2- 1 item combo meals with the Dino ribs. Everything was delicious! I don't normally crave American BBQ but I've always passed by this location growing up and decided to try it out. Must say I wish I went here earlier. I ordered the breakfast BBQ burrito with brisket and it was very delicious. The BBQ sauce was a bonus and must try and this spot. Dipping that with the burrito was the cherry on top. I sat outside along with my partner and two dogs and the staff were nice enough to provide for us! The woman who served us was incredibly nice and she also gave my dog a water bowl! 10/10 service. Decided on BBQ for dinner on 04/23/26 and found this little establishment was "near me" and gave it a try. We opted to try the beef brisket or beef ribs. We asked for a sample to make sure it was tender due to dental concerns. The brisket was lightly smoked, easy to bite and chew. We ordered a dinner meal that includes 3 sides and 2 meats. Our selections were half a chicken, brisket, baked beans, potato salad and cornbread it came to about $38. Our order took about 15 mins. while we waited about 5 customers came in to pick up orders and to order. i was excited that i had found a new dining spot that's close to home. We live about 15 mins away and we were ready to eat when we got home. The presentation and packaging of the food was great. The food looked inviting. Then!!!! we cut the the chicken and it was raw! Not cooked. The internal temperature was less that a safe range to eat. Even after getting the food home the food was still hot but, the chicken was not done. After getting past that initial shock, we placed all the meat in the oven at 350 for 45 mins. The baked beans are actually kidney beans with seasoning. The potato salad did not have eggs and that was really not a big deal , so many people have have allergies. They have an extensive menu and as much as i would like to try other options, I will continue on my search for a bbq spot in the LBC. I had been wanting to stop here for quite some time as I pass it all the time and love BBQ. This past Saturday was the day! Within walking distance from our local watering hole, we stopped and dined in. Service was excellent and the gals that were working were very friendly and efficient. This is an order at the counter type of place where you pay; however, the staff gives you a number and they deliver the food to your table. I opted for a sandwich, and they have two types of burgers on their menu (regular and BBQ). I opted for the BBQ which you get your choice of meat (tri-tip, brisket, etc). I opted for the brisket combo which was 15 bucks and comes with one side (I chose sweet potato fries). There was alot of meat piled on and you get a couple of BBQ sauces as well as a hot sauce. The meat was cooked to perfection and very tasty. My friend chose the 2 meat platter with brisket and pork, which came with two sides (he chose mashed and mac n'cheese). It also came with bread and corn bread, all for 36.00, which I thought was pretty pricey. In any case, he enjoyed his meal, but I think I got just as much meat on my sandwich as he did on my plate, so I'd recommend getting a sandwich instead if you are on a budget or just don't feel like spending that amount of money. As for dessert, we opted to take the banana pudding home (8 bucks I believe) & it was a perfect serving for two. It was really good, but not as excellent as some of the BBQ places I have been to in TX. In any case, give this place a try! Wow!!!! Left a message for the owner and he can t be bothered to call me back!!! Please note this review is only for the delivery... I couldn't really taste the food because it was so cold. It got here 70 minutes after it left the restaurant. I called in the middle and I saw that she had two more orders ahead of mine and something like that's your call if you wanna have your delivery people so extended but it doesn't work for me I got food that was cold. So I eat here all the time. I've known the owner for years. And one of my favorite things is their Banana Pudding. I actually take it to other people's houses to give to people so I stopped by today to get a banana pudding and the girl made it for me fresh, even though I didn't ask for that... I was really disappointed with my experience at Corner 10th Barbecue. I ordered a three meat combo for $50 and only received TWO meats -- and the portions were sparse. The brisket consisted of three slices, and the spare ribs came without the rib tips. Four ribs and three slices of brisket is absolutely not worth $50 by any stretch of the imagination. To make matters worse, there was no barbecue sauce on the meat and none was provided in the order. I later learned this was because they were "busy" and apparently out of sauce. Again, that is not the customer's problem. The greens portion was also shockingly small -- literally about two forkfuls in the container. I honestly wish I could have weighed them. I also ordered two peach cobblers, but when I arrived to pick up my order, I was told they were out. I had initially tried to order banana pudding as well and was told upfront they were already out of that too. When I called back about the missing hot links, the response was basically, "Oh yeah, we were busy, sorry." They asked when I wanted to come pick it up, which was not a realistic option. I requested to simply be charged for a two meat plate instead, but they said the only way to handle it was to refund the entire transaction and recharge me. That meant I had to pay out another $36 for a total of $86+ while waiting 4+ days for the original refund to process instead of simply crediting me the $14+ difference. The ribs and brisket themselves were cooked well, and it's unfortunate because I wasn't even able to try any of the sauces. The brisket lacked flavor sauceless. Good meat alone does not excuse missing items, tiny portions, poor communication, and unprofessional customer service. The overall attitude from the staff lacked professionalism. Repeatedly saying "we were busy" is not an acceptable excuse for incomplete orders, missing items, and poor service. Customers are paying hard-earned money and deserve accuracy, quality, and respect. Repeatedly i was asked to accommodate their request to make me whole... come pick up the missing links come pick up the receipt wait for your refund repay for new price whereas they made NO accommodations for their mistakes which is disheartening! The staff was so out of gas that they had a non chalant IDC attitude They didn't bother to say they ran out of barbecue nor did they mention they were out out cobbler until asked no utensils no napkins. simply not a good 1st impression! I'am always a little conflicted with 10th corner. The brisket and beef ribs are literally the best around Long Beach! The side dishes however fall terribly short ! Tonight I ordered the ten dollar taco meal , I've ordered this before but the recipe has been changed, as you can see in the picture it was covered in tomatoes! The original dish was prepared with smoked pulled chicken. Now back to the side dishes, both the dirty rice and bbq beans are filled with peppers and onions! I was pleasantly surprised at this wonderful, cozy BBQ spot in Long Beach. I'm constantly on the lookout for great barbecue spot. This one fills the bill to a T. I was really surprised at how delicious and juicy the meets were. I was also happy with the selection. They're homemade barbecue sauce is really delicious. I like the spicy one. I also love the greens and dirty rice. They were delicious and not too salty. The jalapeno cornbread was also really nice and not dry. It was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. Our family frequently orders from here, though it's almost always to-go. And almost always when feeding a group. Their hobo plate pack easily feeds up to 6 of us for $80, sometimes with leftovers depending on how hungry everyone is. 1/2lb pulled pork, 1/2lb tri-tip, 2 hot links (cut down into reasonable sized pieces), 2 24oz sides, big old side of barbecue sauce, and essentially 2/3rds of a pack of Kings Hawaiian rolls. All the meats are good and hearty, but my fave is the tri-tip. Their baked beans are really yummy (coming from a person who is generally meh on baked beans), and the mac and cheese is heavy so if you're trying to maximize the mileage of the calories in this pack, the mac and cheese is a must. Their smoked chicken is super succulent and one of their more affordable meat offerings, so we sometimes add a # of it if feeding a larger group. Or their meaty nachos seem to hit reaaaaally good if some of the members of your group are a special kind of hungry. Wink wink nudge nudge. Anyway. Parking is really competitive in this neighborhood. I enjoyed eating BBQ here. It is cozy, quaint, and most importantly, good tasting food. We got the 3 meat dinner combo for lunch, which included 3 sides too, but we barely finished 2 meats and side so we had to take a box home. Oh well, one can't complain about having extra meat. :) We ordered the brisket, baby back ribs, and tri tip. The brisket tasted smoky and was so tender it cut like melted butter, which was our favorite. Baby back ribs were slathered with the house BBQ sauce that provided a nice bbq tang and meat was juicy and tender. I appreciate their BBQ Sauce wasn't too peppery or spicy, which I enjoyed immensely because I'm not a hot sauce fan. The last meat I didn't get to even take a bite because I was too full from everything else. The only low part for me was the sides. The mashed potatoes were pretty mid and I suspect it is the instant potato kind, due to the texture and artificial buttery taste. I don't recommend it. They were out of the hot water corn bread so we got regular corn bread. It wasn't bad, just okay. It came in a square foil container, I'm kind of curious if it is the 3rd party frozen kind and not house made. Third side was the sweet potato fries, and it was hot and crispy. I also got rice and beans for my sides and they gave me macaroni and cheese. When I tasted the meat it was dry and some pieces were burnt. Not "drive 40 minutes out of your way" quality, but for a local place it does the trick and I imagine the lunch options might be even better than what I generally get. I will say that be careful ordering pick up through yelp via door dash. I placed one order and it said there was an issue and it couldn't be processed. Tried to do it again and same issue occurred. Long story short at $80 later both orders did in fact get processed and I didn't do it through the app so I have no idea how to try to submit an issue about it to Door Dash.
