    Potato salad and baked beans
    rhonda s.

Decided on BBQ for dinner on 04/23/26 and found this little establishment was "near me" and gave it a try. On the outside it looked nice. there are about 4 or 5 parking spaces which look to be shared with the neighboring nail shop. It was after 6p and i was able to park in the lot. You can enter from the parking lot or from the sidewalk. My absolute first thought after walking in was it didn't smell like bbq. The inside was cute, rustic, wooden seating and lots of retro pics. The cashier was helpful. We wanted mild links but they only had hot links. We opted to try the beef brisket or beef ribs. We asked for a sample to make sure it was tender due to dental concerns. The brisket was lightly smoked, easy to bite and chew. We ordered a dinner meal that includes 3 sides and 2 meats. Our selections were half a chicken, brisket, baked beans, potato salad and cornbread it came to about $38. Our order took about 15 mins. while we waited about 5 customers came in to pick up orders and to order. i was excited that i had found a new dining spot that's close to home. We live about 15 mins away and we were ready to eat when we got home. The presentation and packaging of the food was great. The food looked inviting. Then!!!! we cut the the chicken and it was raw! Not cooked. The internal temperature was less that a safe range to eat. Even after getting the food home the food was still hot but, the chicken was not done. After getting past that initial shock, we placed all the meat in the oven at 350 for 45 mins. The baked beans are actually kidney beans with seasoning. The potato salad did not have eggs and that was really not a big deal , so many people have have allergies. They have an extensive menu and as much as i would like to try other options, I will continue on my search for a bbq spot in the LBC. Stars given for good service ambience and packaging of food.

    2 meat platter

I had been wanting to stop here for quite some time as I pass it all the time and love BBQ. This past Saturday was the day! Within walking distance from our local watering hole, we stopped and dined in. Service was excellent and the gals that were working were very friendly and efficient. This is an order at the counter type of place where you pay; however, the staff gives you a number and they deliver the food to your table. I opted for a sandwich, and they have two types of burgers on their menu (regular and BBQ). I opted for the BBQ which you get your choice of meat (tri-tip, brisket, etc). I opted for the brisket combo which was 15 bucks and comes with one side (I chose sweet potato fries). There was alot of meat piled on and you get a couple of BBQ sauces as well as a hot sauce. The meat was cooked to perfection and very tasty. My friend chose the 2 meat platter with brisket and pork, which came with two sides (he chose mashed and mac n'cheese). It also came with bread and corn bread, all for 36.00, which I thought was pretty pricey. In any case, he enjoyed his meal, but I think I got just as much meat on my sandwich as he did on my plate, so I'd recommend getting a sandwich instead if you are on a budget or just don't feel like spending that amount of money. As for dessert, we opted to take the banana pudding home (8 bucks I believe) & it was a perfect serving for two. It was really good, but not as excellent as some of the BBQ places I have been to in TX. In any case, give this place a try! There is limited indoor dining but we did not have a problem getting a table (seemed to get alot of take out orders). I think there is a small parking lot, but I honestly don't remember as we were on foot. The area is also not the greatest and upon walking home it was getting dark and some sketchy peeps in the area so beware of your surroundings.

What was left of my plate smh

Long Beach Native and I'm always looking forward to exploring a hometown spot. This was my first time at the corner and I am sad to say the experience fell short. The staff were amazing! The parking was nonexistent but that was to be expected. The ambiance was nice as far as BBQ spots go. So how did it taste? Peach Lemonade - 4 out of 5 Passion Fruit Lemonade- 4 out of 5 Baked Beans - 3 out of 5 (BUSY) Had a lot of onions, crunch and other items not expected in baked beans. Greens - 3 out of 5 (outside of the lemonade this was the best thing on the plate.) Brisket - 3 out of 5 (it was dry and room temperature. More importantly it had a smoke ring but lacked flavor. No pepper crust or rich smoke flavors. Beef Ribs - (these were recommended as the popular item) 2 out of 5. TOUGH (I had to use a fork and knife and got tired so I only ate half of one), layered in BBQ Sauce to mask the lack of flavor. A real gut check here I was super disappointed. Extensive menu. Maybe too extensive though I was excited to see Hot Water Cornbread, Yams and other items listed. Plus the free refills didn't hurt. The problem was that it's didn't smell like BBQ, it didn't taste like BBQ. I truly wish them the best

3rd time I've ordered from this place and they never disappoint!! Some of the best BBQ I've had and I even lived in Texas for 3 years! Coleslaw and fries were so fresh, brisket was perfection and the bbq sauce was the cherry on top! Always great portions and packaging too!

    2 forks of greens

I was really disappointed with my experience at Corner 10th Barbecue. I ordered a three meat combo for $50 and only received TWO meats -- and the portions were sparse. The brisket consisted of three slices, and the spare ribs came without the rib tips. Four ribs and three slices of brisket is absolutely not worth $50 by any stretch of the imagination. To make matters worse, there was no barbecue sauce on the meat and none was provided in the order. I later learned this was because they were "busy" and apparently out of sauce. Again, that is not the customer's problem. The greens portion was also shockingly small -- literally about two forkfuls in the container. I honestly wish I could have weighed them. I also ordered two peach cobblers, but when I arrived to pick up my order, I was told they were out. I had initially tried to order banana pudding as well and was told upfront they were already out of that too. When I called back about the missing hot links, the response was basically, "Oh yeah, we were busy, sorry." They asked when I wanted to come pick it up, which was not a realistic option. I requested to simply be charged for a two meat plate instead, but they said the only way to handle it was to refund the entire transaction and recharge me. That meant I had to pay out another $36 for a total of $86+ while waiting 4+ days for the original refund to process instead of simply crediting me the $14+ difference. The ribs and brisket themselves were cooked well, and it's unfortunate because I wasn't even able to try any of the sauces. The brisket lacked flavor sauceless. Good meat alone does not excuse missing items, tiny portions, poor communication, and unprofessional customer service. The overall attitude from the staff lacked professionalism. Repeatedly saying "we were busy" is not an acceptable excuse for incomplete orders, missing items, and poor service. Customers are paying hard-earned money and deserve accuracy, quality, and respect. Repeatedly i was asked to accommodate their request to make me whole... come pick up the missing links come pick up the receipt wait for your refund repay for new price whereas they made NO accommodations for their mistakes which is disheartening! The staff was so out of gas that they had a non chalant IDC attitude They didn't bother to say they ran out of barbecue nor did they mention they were out out cobbler until asked no utensils no napkins. simply not a good 1st impression! Also of note, there was no bread. ...all BBQ spots come with sliced bread or cornbread i suppose they were out of that too!

    BRISKET EMPANADA
    Charlize V.

The 2- and 3-meat dinners come with plenty. We enjoyed the brisket, ribs, chicken, and all the sides - hot water cornbread, collard greens, potato salad, and mac & cheese. The platters already come with bread as well. The brisket empanada and sauce were great.

Brisket, Cajun fries, potato salad, and mac n cheese.
    Maggie E.

Whether it's dine in or takeout, you order at the register. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. I really liked their potato salad, mac n cheese and the garlic bread roll. The Cajun fries were nice and crispy but I do wish they had a kick to them, like you'd expect with Cajun fries. They tasted like regular fries (but still tasty) The brisket tasted good, it didn't feel too greasy but it was a bit tough. I heated up the leftovers the next day and they still tasted good but I do wish the meat was softer. The time that I dined in, it was nice and quiet. Would be down to come here again.

This is how it usually looks. Beautiful with a great presentation.

So I eat here all the time. I've known the owner for years. And one of my favorite things is their Banana Pudding. I actually take it to other people's houses to give to people so I stopped by today to get a banana pudding and the girl made it for me fresh, even though I didn't ask for that... But when I got it to My Friends's house, there was no way I could give it to them. I don't know what was wrong with the girl today, but it looked like crap. It's like she took all these broken pieces and crumbs and just threw it on top of the Banana Pudding. Very disappointing. Usually, *Ken's presentation is really nice but today I don't know. I had to stop by Ralph's and pick up a cake for my friend.

Found this hidden gem. Enjoyed their food! You have to see and taste for your self. Service was good. It's a very chill place and I would recommend this place!

    BBQ Smoked Meat Burger|Grilled Chicken|Macaroni & Cheese
    Jacob C.

I used the BOGO deal on DoorDash and ordered two BBQ Smoked Meat Burgers, one with brisket and the other with grilled chicken. Both were very delicious and the fries were dense. They were a perfect addition for the burgers. The brisket was tasty and the sauce was sweet & tangy. I also enjoyed the chicken, house-made pickles, and macaroni & cheese.

    The ten dollar tacos.

I'am always a little conflicted with 10th corner. The brisket and beef ribs are literally the best around Long Beach! The side dishes however fall terribly short ! Tonight I ordered the ten dollar taco meal , I've ordered this before but the recipe has been changed, as you can see in the picture it was covered in tomatoes! The original dish was prepared with smoked pulled chicken. Now back to the side dishes, both the dirty rice and bbq beans are filled with peppers and onions! They can stand on their own no fillers needed. Getting home and opening the container to see tacos covered in tomatoes reminded me of the side dishes. Please go back to bbq smoked pulled chicken tacos ! 5 stars for the beef ribs and brisket 1 star for side dishes and new taco recipe

I've ordered from this place on Uber eats countless times, it was time for me to finally come in and have their delicious food in person The parking is a little difficult. I would just recommend finding street parking vs using their tiny parking lot. Which, you could get boxed in and have to wait for that person to leave. By their side entrance you can see the smoker and you can smell how delicious the bbq is The atmosphere is cute. It looks like your standard BBQ place. It has cute signs all over the walls You go up to the counter and order. It did take us a while since there was a ton of different options. All their sides are delicious. So the southern in me had to order a bunch of sides. I highly recommend their dirty rice Once we were done ordering we picked out a place to sit. Another worker brought out our drinks. All the workers were extremely nice. The girl behind the counter came over and even asked if we wanted a refill (we ordered fountain drinks) they also have a bunch of different tea, milk teas coffee and lattes on the menu I ordered the burger, it's delicious. It's usually my go to on Uber eats. We actually had to keep going back up to the counter to order more food. We went back up to get an order of cornbread and a couple extra sides to try This place is locally owned and operated and they have a pretty large catering menu. So next time you're having a craving for some BBQ, come support a locally owned restaurant

Heres a screenshot of your number and the hold time. Horrible service and definitely disappointed.
    Chris R.

Ordered through door dash and called once I order to make sure I didn't have the salsa with onions on the tacos for my kids right after I ordered. Once I called I was put on hold for over 15 min and the young girl who answered never picked up. My delivery person had time to pick up the order and drop it and still no pick up. I made it a point to record the time so you guys can fix this. Horrible service and will not be ordering again. Why have a phone when you don't answer or just place the customer on hold hoping for them to hang up

THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE!!! All surrounding brunch spots... meet your match…read more This family-owned gem is about to take over the downtown brunch scene. My family and I stopped in on a Saturday around 10 a.m. The place was already packed with a line out the door, but don't let that scare you. The wait moved fast, and the staff ran that dining room like a well-oiled machine while somehow making you feel like you were a guest in their home. You order at the front, grab your number, then impatiently wait for greatness. Right away, the baristas were brewing, shaking, and stirring up some of the best drinks I've had in a long time. Matcha, mochas... Starbucks could NEVER. I ordered the banana strawberry matcha and an iced mocha. While I was at the counter, I obviously had to grab pastries because... self-control wasn't invited. The display alone had me ready to order 14 of 'em. I went with the tiramisu cookie, guava croissant, and strawberry cream croissant. Now for the main event. There were four of us, so naturally we ordered enough food for a small village. Savory pancakes, a bulgogi breakfast burrito with fries, steak and eggs, another breakfast burrito, and the Thai pizza. Yep. We came to eat. While we waited, I took in the atmosphere. The entire place felt warm and inviting. Sunlight poured through the windows, giving it the feeling of eating breakfast on your family's back patio. Just laughter, clinking forks, happy conversations, and those little "mmm" moments happening at every table. That's always a good sign. The Thai pizza hit the table first. Fresh out of the oven and straight to Flavor Town. The crust had to be handmade because there was no way something that good came from a freezer. The basil, sausage, and everything working together made this anything but your average pizza. It was different--in the best way possible. Five minutes later... Gone. Next up were the savory pancakes. At first glance, they looked simple. Then I took a bite. That little stack of fluffy pancakes topped with berry butter didn't even need syrup. THANK YOU for understanding that pancakes don't need to cover an entire plate to be memorable. These were soft, flavorful, perfectly sweet, and somehow disappeared before I could fully appreciate everything else on the plate. Speaking of everything else... The steamed eggs were light and fluffy. The hash browns? Listen... Whatever they're doing to those potatoes back there needs to be studied. They had the perfect golden crunch with this buttery goodness that made me question every hash brown I've ever eaten. Fried in beef tallow? Magic? I don't know. I just know I wanted another order immediately. The bacon deserved its own shoutout too. Fresh, crispy, and full of flavor--not bacon that was cooked at 5 a.m. and has been sitting around waiting for someone's Grand Slam order. This bacon had integrity. Then came the steak and eggs. The steak was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. I had absolutely no interest in sharing. But somehow the potatoes still managed to steal part of the spotlight. Again... Those potatoes. Give me 14 of those babies to go. The breakfast burritos were packed with flavor, but those crispy potatoes inside gave them the texture that took them from good to unforgettable. And that green aioli? Bottle that stuff up. Immediately. This place just gets it. They understand that quality matters. Every ingredient tasted intentional, every dish felt like someone actually cared before it hit the table. Too many restaurants are cutting corners these days, and I will happily support businesses that refuse to compromise. Worth every penny. This is hands down one of the best brunch spots I've been to in a long time, and I already can't wait to come back. Do yourself a favor and go. Just don't blame me when there's a line.

Each was perfect. The sliced/cubed steak had a hint of sweetness and was tender. If you're picky about eggs benedict, you'll appreciate this place. The coconut cream that accompanied the pancakes is addictive. The service was great. Looking forward to returning to try different things on the menu. I bookmarked Lazy Dough as a place to bring friends and family.

We were completely torn on what to order (because honestly, everything looked amazing), and he was so patient, kind, and genuinely helpful while guiding us through the menu. We will absolutely be back, and we're definitely hoping for the full "Chris Experience" again. Thank you, Chris, for making the start of my birthday weekend so memorable!
