Came here a few days ago. It was not busy, so we were seated right away. Our server was good; we were given a complimentary corn bread that didn't taste like corn bread, and to add insult to the corn bread, they microwaved it. I asked if we could have another and to please warm it up in the oven. Nope, it was nuked. We ordered Short Ribs, with corn and mashed potatoes, and a half brick of onion rings. The Ribs were barely lukewarm, when so many restaurant a make their ribs in advance; at least heat up the darn meat. Skip the onion rings and corn bread. Not good. Not tasty. Not remotely seasoned. Mac is deplorable or whatever is worse than deplorable. Cornbread was dry and got the nerve to serve honey butter on the SIDE. That butter belongs in the cornbread. The Mac was incredibly bad. Oh yeah, I already said that above. Goes to show you how awful it was. It was orange but not a hint of cheese flavor. The ribs were ok, but still dry. Chicken was, well, dry as a dessert but with what I believe was supposed to be smoke rings or char. Idk. Could nkt get past the lack of seasoning coupled with the tree bark dry texture. On the bright side... The bbq sauce was BOMB! 9/10 The sausage was some of the best both I and my party guests have had. 10/10 The brisket was edible but not memorable. As a non-meat lover, you'll have to read this review with a grain of salt. My friends recently celebrated a birthday at this local steakhouse. Our crew of 10+ people easily snagged a booth in the back and spent an evening devouring endless meat. Their menu is truly impressive. Each dish comes with several massive sides. Large enough where it should be mandatory to share. We ordered a variety of meaty dishes and shared their brick of fried onions. You know the night is a bit unhinged when each table is provided with a 'bone bucket.' I ordered their chicken breast sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes. The meal was tasty, but a bit average. 3 1/2 stars. Arrived just before noon on a beautiful Sunday, After a three mile walk along the beach and Belmont Shores. We opted for take-out of our food for the park nearby. I proceeded to the takeout window to place my order for baby back ribs and beef rib lunches and chose sides of baked beans, cole slaw, rice pilaf, and potato salad. When we unpacked our food which was packed nicely in one box, I discovered they gave us two lunches of beef ribs, and no baby back ribs as requested. In addition, there was no utensils or plates, but I was fortunate another person at the park was kind enough to supply me a few disposable forks. As for the food everything was decent with the exception of the dry corn bread, and the beef ribs really didn't have any smoke bbq flavor. I learned a valuable lesson from here, never assume your order will be correct and I'll check my takeout orders before departing in the future. read more

Great Happy Hour! We met another couple to enjoy some food and drinks. Naples Ribs offers Happy Hour Monday thru Friday 4-6pm in the bar. Lots of seating in the bar. Tables with comfy booths along with stools at the bar. They off $2 off drinks; $3 off appetizers; and $4 dollars off baskets (sliders). We all enjoyed our draft beers. Personally I loved my hazy IPA and had two, rare for me! We ordered a full loaf of onion rings, the best, along with baskets of sausage bites, tri-tip and brisket sliders. Great BBQ sauce! Food was great and very filling! Lots of options for appetizers too! You can also order off the full dinner menu. Service was excellent, as always! Elmer was our server. Very nice and helpful. Came here on a busy day and overall it was a good experience, with a couple of downsides. First thing: parking is rough. It's a busy area and the setup makes it easy to miss the turn. If you pass it, you basically have to loop around for a while to get back, so give yourself extra time. Once we got inside, the staff was very friendly. We had a reservation and got seated quickly with almost no wait. Our food came out fast, especially considering how packed it was, and most of it was really good. The cornbread was amazing and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The only miss for us was the mac & cheese. It just didn't taste great compared to everything else on the table. Service-wise: the hostess was great, but our waiter was pretty bland and didn't check in much. Not sure if it was because they were slammed or if that's just the vibe, but it stood out. Had reservations for Saturday Dec 20 2025. Decided to go to this place prior to the Christmas boat show parade at Naples Islands. We were greeted and seated. Waters were served. Ordered a 5 Piece Beef Rib, Brisket, corn, macaroni, mash, and baked potato. Received some cornbread with some butter, the cornbread was moist which was very enjoyable. Received our food after, everything was excellent. The beef ribs was very juicy! All was good. Overall this is my go to spot for Ribs! You get what you pay for. Quality meats and quality beverages. I'm surprised by the mixed reviews about this place. I read both the good and the bad, and it seems many people had issues with their gift cards which I know they're also available at a discounted price at Costco in Signal Hill. As for my own experience, I had a really enjoyable time and thought the food was FANTASTIC. The restaurant has a rustic feel where natural lighting do not pass. As for the food, I ordered the HALF RIBS AND PRIME RIB COMBO PLATE, and it was a true FEAST. The ribs were tender and juicy, while the prime rib was cooked perfectly. The cornbread served beforehand paired nicely with the butter provided. I couldn't believe how huge the serving was complete with a large baked potato, coleslaw, corn, and plenty of protein. I am saddened to make this post but this is concerning the waitress sarah. White girls with blond hair. Her service was awful. When me and my date sat down she asked us what we wanted to drink, and we ordered our drink and food. She brought the food without our drinks and by no drinks i mean NOT EVEN WATER. We reminded her our drinks, and she came back with an awful attitude and didn't even bring water. Throughout our time eating she only checked up on my table 2 times. Versus the people seated so close in proximity to my table were checked on so very often. She was so rude. Naples talk to Sarah about her weird behavior and have a better attitude. If you love ribs, Naples Rib Company is hard to beat. They serve some of the best baby back ribs I've had. They're cooked perfectly and fall right off the bone every time. If I could justify it, I'd probably order them weekly. One tip: keep an eye on Uber Eats or DoorDash because they occasionally run BOGO deals on full racks. If you see it, take advantage. This restaurant has never let us down. The ribs are meaty and delicious with or without sauce. A full rack of ribs is enough for 2 people even if you're hungry. We especially love their St Louis and beef ribs. My wife and I usually sit at the bar and enjoy our tasty gin martinis, sometimes 2. They pair well with ribs. Valet parking is available for $7, which isn't unreasonable, but I'm not a fan of being required to use it. I chose to look for street parking instead--no easy task on a Saturday night. After circling a bit, I managed to find a spot not too far away on a nearby one-way street. I made reservations through OpenTable and was seated almost immediately, which was a nice start. The service, however, was inconsistent. At times the servers were attentive and present, but after our food arrived, it became difficult to flag someone down--especially when I wanted extra BBQ sauce and au jus. For my meal, I ordered the Prime Rib and Baby Back Ribs, served with French fries, coleslaw, and a small corn on the cob. The Prime Rib was average--nothing particularly memorable--but the au jus and creamy horseradish did help elevate the flavor. The ribs were much better: tender and flavorful, though the BBQ sauce wasn't quite my style (still enjoyable, just not a standout). The fries were hot and crispy, and the coleslaw was a pleasant surprise--fresh, tangy, and well-balanced. The corn was juicy and nicely buttered, rounding out the plate. Their corn bread, although nothing to rave about, was complimentary which was a nice touch. A neighborhood spot for many years. It's s rustic, casual restaurant. We started with an order of fried zucchini sticks with ranch dipping sauce. They were addictively good. Most folks go for their ribs, but we went for the beef! I love tri-tip but most restaurants here in California take off all the fat before roasting and it ends up dry and flavorless. This one was no exception. Disappointing! However, the rest of my group ordered prime ribs and New York strip steak, and they were really delicious. Juicy and rare/mid rare, as they wanted it. Hubby ordered the massive 22oz prime rib with horseradish and au jus. It was a hit! Accompanying our entrees were standard, but tasty sides! Baked potato with the fixins is always a treat. The cole slaw was creamy and just a touch acidic the way we like it, the baked beans, roasted veggies, and pineapple wedge nice. We also chose corn on the cob, fruit cup, and mashed sweet potato. If you are from Chicago, like me, or just love Chicago-style baby back ribs, this is the place for you. I moved from Chicago to Southern California 46 years ago. I can't believe this was my first visit to Naples Rib Company. I wasted 46 years! I want them back! A friend of mine, also from Chicago, recommended this place. So, I went with high expectations. But, not so high that I thought Naples Rib Company would be as good as my favorite rib joint in the Windy City. Well, my expectations were exceeded. I asked for the ribs to be well done, so that the sauce would be fully caramelized. They were cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed every delicious bite. Do you have to be from Chicago, or the Midwest, to enjoy these ribs? I don't think so. But, if you are the kind of person who only likes ribs that fall off the bone, then these are not the ribs for you. They were tender and very meaty, but they did not fall off the bone. That's the way they are in Chicago. And, in my opinion, that's the way they should always be. The ribs come with two sides, an ear of sweet corn, and a wedge of pineapple. There is so much food, it's ridiculous. And, frankly, the sides I had were not all that great. But, we did have the onion brick as an appetizer, and it was wonderful. I plan on spending the rest of my days on earth trying to make up for the 46 years that I lost, by visiting Naples Rib Company as often as possible. read more

Food, bbq is always prepared well with consistency in flavor and taste. Parking is not the greatest with s small amount of spaces reserved, valet only. Service is usually great. Tonight was night. We went about 4pm right when they opened. Server was a little rude and at one point almost bumped into me because he wasn't watching where he was going carrying food, turned away, and because I swerved I bumped into a counter (ouch) He just looked at me and kept walking. Didn't say a word. My husband watched and saw the whole transaction. We were just in shock. I came here with a friend for dinner on a Monday night and it was packed - we were glad to have made reservations. There is a small parking lot to the side of the building where I found a spot (otherwise it's street parking). I started with a glass of wine. The list of options is short, nothing fancy, but it covers all the bases. I had a cabernet sauvignon, Ravel & Stitch, which was good and went well with dinner. I chose the babyback rib meal which came with a small loaf of corn bread, a vegetable (corn on the cob), fruit ( a slice of pineapple), and a choice of two sides (I picked baked beans and potato salad). The corn bread was superb, probably my favorite part of the meal. Everything else was good, not incredible but solidly above average. The ribs were a bit on the dry side but meaty enough to satisfy. I really liked the bbq sauce and they provided a gravy boat full of it to pour as much as you like. I only used the sauce sparingly but my friend was heavily slathering it on. I appreciated the hot, moist towels at the conclusion of our meal to clean our sauce-covered fingers (and, in my case, chin). Our service was attentive yet non-intrusive as she could tell we were having animated conversation as we hadn't seen one another in a long time. I've lived in Long Beach for years and I finally made it to this Long Beach institution and it was pretty good. We started off our meal with the roasted artichoke, which is my go to appetizer choice at any restaurant that serves this dish.it was fine, not the best I've ever had. For dinner I ordered a combo of prime rib and bbq ribs. And they were also fine.... Not amazing. Service was amazing and made up for the little that the food lacked. And I really liked the vibe inside the restaurant. It seems super old school and you don't really encounter that in modern restaurants. I had a gift card, which prompted me to finally give this place a try but I'm not sure I would go back without a gift card but I'm definitely willing to give them another shot at some point. read more

My college (decades) hung out and fave bar place. They do make a mean drinks here, great for the $$. They do have compliment valid parking and street parkings. Old but steady and still standing. The place hasn't change much but maintained well. Service is great and quick, the foods are great, consistently and the favors are great. Finally able to stop-in for a family dinner on a Wednesday night. Some of the dishes were quite good, while others were OK. BBQ restaurants is expensive these days, and Naples Rib Company doesn't buck that trend. We wanted to show our out of town visitors different parts of Long Beach, and Naples on the far East side seemed to be a good spot. We did have to go a bit out of our way to get here, and we got lucky with parking (our two cars took the last two spots in their reserved lot). We made reservations through OpenTable for a party of 7, and it was accurately honored when we made it on-time. Two separate tables were put together, our server came right away to greet us and take our drink order. We ended up eating family-style, with various dishes being shared across the tables. We started with 8 cornbread muffins, served hot with butter. For an appetizer, we got a half onion brick ($12)...this was superb. Similar to the blooming onion or thick cut onion rings, it was a great way to start off such a meat centric meal. They serve beef ribs here, so I needed to try that. The 5 bone beef ribs dinner ($42), came with two side (bbq beans and garlic mashed potatoes). I really liked the ribs...mostly bone as they tend to be, but expertly grilled and slathered with a decent BBQ sauce...each presliced rib giving two decent pieces of tender meat Both sides were surprisingly very non-descript (though the mashed potatoes were extremely garlicky). We also ordered 3 baby back full rack dinners ($36)...my family is not too adventurous,,.the ribs were not too large (even quite small in small portions), with the meat being prepared well (firm and NOT fall of the bone). The sauce was OK. The macaroni & cheese was forgettable and corn cob was flavorless. The good french fries and baked potato provided the needed starch to eat all that meat. Service throughout was OK, providing us what we asked for (eventually). None of our group really talked about the meal afterwards, it did it's job, but a place we wouldn't take out of towners here again. Came to Naples Rib Company expecting a standout experience based on its reputation. Left disappointed. The food was decent, but the service was nearly nonexistent. After taking our order, our waitress vanished and didn't resurface until it was time to drop the check. No check-ins, no follow-up, nothing. We needed assistance multiple times and were completely ignored. I even had to get up myself to ask for ketchup for my daughter's cheeseburger--never a good sign at a sit-down restaurant.
