Service is stellar here! 5 the French dip melts in your mouth good however my wife said fish n chips were too oily. Love sitting in the bar!

It's time I stopped gatekeeping this fabulous eatery. Tucked in a quaint strip mall, comes steakhouse that is also small in stature. But despite all things appearing to be diminutive, Patty's Place brings the grandest of all accoutrements that you would expect of a 5-star steakhouse. As you walk through the doors, on any given evening, you might find any of the Seal Beach dignitaries sitting at the copper plated bar. You're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both upscale and cozy. And from behind the bar, all of the bartenders are incredibly attentive and friendly, making you feel like a valued guest from start to finish. But the one bartender who makes me feel like one of the SB locals is Jake. Words cannot express how Jake has made me feel welcome every time I pass through the wooden entrance door. From many visits due to work, he knows all my food tastes as well as my choice of liquors. Jake's knowledge of whiskeys, scotch, and bourbons created conversations with him that increased my wisdom of such liquor spirts. You can tell he enjoys his craft and it shows in every drink he makes. The food? Phenomenal. As you can tell from my photograph submissions, I've had almost all the bar menu meals. I had the bone-in ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and paired with mushrooms and asparagus that were equally divine. The burgers are a blended patty that is cooked to a perfect medium-rare and juicy each time. My favorite dish is the Filet Mignon Stroganoff with fresh pappardelle pasta infused with a rich cream sauce that is heavenly. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, just want a memorable night out, or just want a great cocktail, Patty's Place delivers on all fronts. It's clear why this place has such a stellar reputation. My next visit can't come soon enough.

This breakfast hit the spot, Kobe Patty and eggs, Hash-brown and fruit. More than enough to shared. Always great sitting at the bar, but it will filled up quick. Curtis is great, funny and Nick is always there to greet you with open arms . Nothing wrong with Sunday champagne, delicious meal and football.

It was the perfect date night! It was my first time there, but my boyfriend had been there multiple times. To start, we split a caesar salad and had the ceviche. Bread was also served. The bread was very warm and was perfect with the butter. The caesar was great, we got it without anchovies. And, the ceviche was amazing with the avocado!! Chips were not stale and the lemon went along with the ceviche. I had the surf and turf with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were a nice complement. And, the lobster... WOW! Great!!! They de-shelled it for me and it was so decadent with the butter For dessert, we shared a key lime pie. We barely finished it because we were so full from earlier. The waitress was very kind and attentive to our needs. Half-way through, the owner visited our table and checked on the service (great). Overall, we WILL be coming back.

Prime Rib was raw not rare and sent it back. Server had an attitude. Like she was doing us a favor. Not genuine or sincere.

The view of the sand, rocks, beach, and sunset made the ambience really special and created the perfect beachside atmosphere. I ordered the Wild Atlantic salmon and an espresso martini and both were excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the espresso martini was one of the best I've had. Brian was our bartender and the service really stood out. Drinks were deliciously made, the energy at the bar was fun and welcoming. It was a beautiful warm Spring day (73 degrees) and we were excited to eat with the great ocean view from The Beach House Seal Beach. Paid for 2 hours of parking and walked over to the restaurant. It was only when we entered the gate where the hostess is that we saw a small sign that said, "Closed." WAIT WHAT???? No indication in the parking lot, no sign at the sidewalk, no sign walking down the walk way. The ONLY notice was buried around a corner saying Closed. We were told they were short staffed and had to close early, sorry. As we walked back to the car, we stopped at least 4 other cars and told them the restaurant was closed. We were able to alert them so they did not pay for parking at a CLOSED restaurant. It felt like the restaurant had NO consideration for the customers. To have NO sign anywhere near where customers would be parking to notify us of a totally unexpected, unanticipated, highly unusual CLOSING at 4 pm for a restaurant that was supposed to be open until 10 pm!!!!! So I called from my car in the parking lot and asked to speak to the manager. When the manager got on he explained that they were short staffed and had to close early. I discussed the lack of notice to customers and how we paid for 2 hours of beach parking. Manager was nice and polite and totally unresponsive to the fact we paid money to visit his restaurant and now had no where to eat and were out the parking fees. I recommended they post a notice where customers could see they were closed BEFORE we paid for our parking. He said they would do it after they finished closing out. I insisted it was only fair that they notified their customers FIRST. So, as we were leaving we saw an employee come out and post a sign. I took a photo because no one would believe how inadequate their posting was if I just described it. The sign is micro small. You can see our car at the bottom of the photo. Would you notice this CLOSED sign? Come on Beach House. We know you can do better for your customers.

He was kind, polite, and carried himself with such warmth -- and yes, those curls were beautiful. He set the tone for the entire experience. For our entrées, we had the grilled salmon with bok choy and mashed potatoes, and the steak sandwich with French fries. Everything was delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The ambience was wonderful. They have a full bar, and you can watch the chefs prepare dishes right from your table, which adds to the experience. I also appreciated seeing the general manager actively running food and engaging with guests -- leadership like that shows. Another thing that stood out was how clean and organized the restaurant stayed. The moment a table was vacated, it was cleared and reset within minutes. Everything looked spotless. There's so much on the menu that I want to come back and try. I highly recommend this place. We were wanting the patio seating which they had plenty of seating but still had to wait for a table. It was about a 10 minute wait or so. They were going by the sign in sheet. Hostess was quite sweet and friendly. We got seating which there with plenty of seating still available. There was also hi top bar seating where it seemed like it was first come first serve seating. Menu for the place looked quite interesting. They had breakfast but it was only served till a certain time. Of course the reason we stopped in here was for the Bloody Mary deal we saw for 7.50. Not sure if it's all week or only on for the weekend. Found out that it goes on till 5:30 I believe. Of course we had to try it out. It was a pretty decent size and extra spicy how we like it. Adorned with celery stick, pickle slice, pearl onion, olives and perppercini. For the price, it was quite nice. I thought they would have just used the premixed but it was quoted that each one was made specifically. Quite tasty I must say. Entrees, we just went for a salad. The poke salad on top of mix spring greens was excellent. Nice full chunks of poke in a nice glaze and served with dressing on the side. Portion wise was massive for the price. And the Cobb salad. Your classic with all the usual toppings. Grilled chicken with bacons, tomatoes, avocado, eggs blue cheese crumbles and black olives. Food was nice. Nothing major but they were great. I understand trying to seat everyone on a busy day but come on. This is 2nd time I am finding an inconsistency in the customer service here. I would probably not have posted this had another person not been also complaining about being passed up and had been waiting. I hate when places start thinking they are so popular they can lose customers from bad customer service and it won't make a difference. It's sad when you have 50% good customer service and then the rest that could care less. And before I get some response about it being a busy day due to the big game, the table I was waiting for was almost in the doorway clearly a last resort table. Would I have minded waiting for a spot? No. But why would I since it was only me, clearly my patronage was less valued than everyone else with 2 people or more. How sad. The server couldn't have cared less. It was that crappy bar stool or nothing. Considering even with specials, the minimum spend per person is $30 and up, I guess it's all about maximizing $$ and my $$ aren't enough. After being a happy customer in the padt, I can't recommend this place right now.

And this one time I was there alone with another, no other patrons just staff members walking around from time to time. We stole the moment to dance under the Long Beach sky, just the two of us as a famous Christina Perrio song gently wafted in the night breeze. At another separate time, I was at the Los Angeles County Fair with another. We rode the ferris wheel at such a time where our gondola stopped at the top just as the sun set. The moment was nothing but beautiful and life affirming because the sinking of the sun's light was like a real life video of nature happening in front of us, unburdened by static or data stall. We witnessed nature resting, and I feel, that it was a kin to a beauty falling into a gentle sleep. These two instances have a common factor: momentary bliss arrived to bless an experience because the environment supported discovery of unplanned joy. That is what I associate with the Wicked Wolf, and this time the joy arrived eventually because when my Mom and I arrived to their high tea on Mother's Day the experienced seem like it would land nowhere good. Truth be told, my mom and I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no host in the stand and the place was empty except for a foursome. The energy felt lacked luster. One or two minutes after, the bartender informed us that we were early and the host would come soon. We sat in an available sofa for two, a loveseat persay. This gave us an opportunity to admire the decor that transported us to a storybook forest where good fairies reside, not like swamp creatures and trolls with malevolent fangs and dragon green eyes. I especially loved the large roses in the ceiling. To set the stage, the black ceiling had vines hanging from it, and the few roses were pops of crimson red displayed above. These were wonderful accents to the central mural of the joint that invited the viewer within deeper into the fairy forest where a light shone on an unseen meadow. The place had the decorations and general environment to be a lavender fairy's lounge, but, it did not fully work as a team room. For instance, my mom and I were sat in another lover's couch. Initially, I did not want to sit here because we were given circular tray sets. So imagine being told to sit in a couch, and each of us would get a tv tray. So I was left to wonder if we were going to be served tea in Belle's living room or if were going to watch a flick as we ate pollo loco bowl? But then as I settled into the tranquility of the moment, saw more people come and find their seat or couch, and as the serviced picked-up I realized that this was high tea in a place that had taken disjointed beauty and tackied it together for a patched tea experience that worked well. It was like the experienced was blessed and allowed by the same spirit that brought forth Raggedy Ann. For instance, the pictures show these pretty violet petaled tea cups and matching plates. This pairing was dainty and perfect for a tea party happening under pink veils. But then the sugar cubes came in a hedgehog shaped holder which was just as precious as seeing a piglet in a carriage built for one. Then the cream carrier was in the shape of a milk carton. I wondered where the missing child portrait was? The pastry plate was in the shape of a tropical flower like the ones scattered all over Hawaii. It belonged in a beautiful lei. Each of these elements was cute in its own delicate and whimsical way but together they made an eclectic hodgepodge, not a coherent tea set. And in this asymmetry laid the glitter of their error. The host also brought these clip on dainty hats that were perfect touches for make believe tea party. He carried them around in their original packing, including the box they came in. Not exactly the tailor of the queen, offering hats to the villagers as a gift from her to them, but still the effort magnified the moment. The tea food was the worst stumble that Red took as she was being chased by the Wicked Wolf. To begin with the end analysis, the tea offerings in general were standard, and not bites fit for a princess and her wedding court. For instance, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich was just that---- a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. I detected no effort to make it more than that. The blueberry scone was solid, nothing to skip through a meadow about. But once you added the jam of the table to the scone it was much easier to enjoy. I also had a madeline that was fluffy in the center but could have been purchased maybe at Costco. I had a Macaron and same thing, delicious but I have had something similar before and I suspected that it did not come from a place afloat with Parisian affairs. The best part of the tiers was this puff like thing that had like a Concha texture and design at the top. It was a sweet filled bite that was fit for a man made of muffin.

But sadly my mom could not hear us, due to the music being so loud, we did ask twice if they would turn it down a little to no avail. That is too much money to spend, to not be able to hear each other. We had to hurry out because she was getting frustrated.

They have several booths along the window in which you can see the water and everyone out on their boats doing their thing and enjoying the sunshine in beautiful SoCal. I love me some dining with a view! They made some delicious cocktails. We haven't had a bad one yet. The food was good. My friend enjoyed her club sandwhich and potato skins. I got the lettuce wraps as I am trying to watch my carbs. The chicken was flavorful however, I only like 1 of the 3 sauces it came with (not a big deal though). They have a Sunday brunch that looked really good but we got there 30 minutes before it ended, so we will go back another time to try it. They told us the cost is $45 per person and there are unlimited mimosas available for $15.
