Was in the area visiting a friend and she suggested we refuel at Marni's from our long walk as it was such a beautiful day out. I've never been here before and I'm glad we stopped in. It's definitely a local's hangout because everyone we met lived in the area. There were plenty of TVs so we watched the football games, played pool and had a bite to eat. The service was good, the staff attentive, everyone was friendly and in a post-Christmas good mood. The menu was diverse with lots of options: my friend ordered a burger, wings and fries - it looked really good. I'm kind of watching what I eat these days and opted for a Cesar salad - BORING I know. The atmosphere was fun with people cheering their teams on but it wasn't so loud where you couldn't hear or hold a conversation - it was just right. I would come again.

Came here with my girl for Thursday Night Football and the energy was on point this spot definitely knows how to host a game night. TVs everywhere, people cheering for their teams, pool tables going ....it's got that laid back, local sports bar vibe down. Started things off with Cadillac Margaritas, and they poured heavy in a good way no complaints here. For apps, we went with the Buffalo Wings always a solid choice here big wings and well sauced. For mains, we split the Fish & Chips and the Jumbo Hot Dog. The fish & chips were unfortunately a huge miss. The breading was thick, soggy, and pretty flavorless, and the fish itself didn't have much going on either. The saving grace was our server she noticed we weren't into it and took it off the bill without us even asking, which was genuinely appreciated. On the flip side, the Jumbo Hot Dog totally redeemed things it hand great flavor and I'd 100% order it again. This was my second time here (first was Monday Night Football), and the verdict's the same.....Marni's nails the game day atmosphere and bar staples like wings, burgers, and dogs. Just don't get too adventurous with the menu stick to what they do best and you'll have a good time.

Fun atmosphere and delicious drinks!! Went there with my husband colleagues and had a blast. There was a band playing and also wilson had a reunion going on. The staff were friendly and they made sure we were taken care of.. Recommended.

Perfect for lunch date during the week and even on weekends never really too packed. Food is delicious. Servers are amazing.

    Nobody liked the food

Nice venue. the staff worked their butts off. All staff members seemed to be working off of 1 POS system. The drinks were good but No refills. It's hard to mess up Whiskey on the rocks! The food was over priced and terrible, frozen and deep fried. They have so many items on their menu, it's no wonder they can't get one meal right out to the tables. I had to catch the waitress to check on my food. It took over an hour to get it once ordered! I observed more food being dumped into the trash then consumed. I asked several customers about the pizza and got thumbs down on that menu choice. They charge a premium price, $16.95 for a chicken sandwich with fries. Two chicken strips over cooked on a bun with lettuce and tomato. Grissle in the tenders, un-eatable. A 40' bar with one bartender who not only made drinks but had to serve them as well. A good manager would not let a place like this open in the condition it was in! "IT'S A DIVE BAR" Save your money!

OK you would never believe how amazing the burgers & fries are here on Thursday Burger Bash the price is WOW ! We love to get two cheeseburgers and fat fries, our waitress knows us and already has our order in when we walk in. The burger is seriously like the best home cooked BBQ burger, juicy juicy juicy.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday last Friday with an 80s theme. Real Deal band played that night and it was perfect! Food and drinks came out quick and Lizzy made sure I was never thirsty She was on top of things given we were a big crowd! Truly amazing customer service! 5 stars to Marni's... The view of the sand, rocks, beach, and sunset made the ambience really special and created the perfect beachside atmosphere. I ordered the Wild Atlantic salmon and an espresso martini and both were excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the espresso martini was one of the best I've had. Brian was our bartender and the service really stood out. Drinks were deliciously made, the energy at the bar was fun and welcoming. It was a beautiful warm Spring day (73 degrees) and we were excited to eat with the great ocean view from The Beach House Seal Beach. Paid for 2 hours of parking and walked over to the restaurant. It was only when we entered the gate where the hostess is that we saw a small sign that said, "Closed." WAIT WHAT???? No indication in the parking lot, no sign at the sidewalk, no sign walking down the walk way. The ONLY notice was buried around a corner saying Closed. We were told they were short staffed and had to close early, sorry. As we walked back to the car, we stopped at least 4 other cars and told them the restaurant was closed. We were able to alert them so they did not pay for parking at a CLOSED restaurant. It felt like the restaurant had NO consideration for the customers. To have NO sign anywhere near where customers would be parking to notify us of a totally unexpected, unanticipated, highly unusual CLOSING at 4 pm for a restaurant that was supposed to be open until 10 pm!!!!! So I called from my car in the parking lot and asked to speak to the manager. When the manager got on he explained that they were short staffed and had to close early. I discussed the lack of notice to customers and how we paid for 2 hours of beach parking. Manager was nice and polite and totally unresponsive to the fact we paid money to visit his restaurant and now had no where to eat and were out the parking fees. I recommended they post a notice where customers could see they were closed BEFORE we paid for our parking. He said they would do it after they finished closing out. I insisted it was only fair that they notified their customers FIRST. So, as we were leaving we saw an employee come out and post a sign. I took a photo because no one would believe how inadequate their posting was if I just described it. The sign is micro small. You can see our car at the bottom of the photo. Would you notice this CLOSED sign? Come on Beach House. We know you can do better for your customers.

He was kind, polite, and carried himself with such warmth -- and yes, those curls were beautiful. He set the tone for the entire experience. For our entrées, we had the grilled salmon with bok choy and mashed potatoes, and the steak sandwich with French fries. Everything was delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The ambience was wonderful. They have a full bar, and you can watch the chefs prepare dishes right from your table, which adds to the experience. I also appreciated seeing the general manager actively running food and engaging with guests -- leadership like that shows. Another thing that stood out was how clean and organized the restaurant stayed. The moment a table was vacated, it was cleared and reset within minutes. Everything looked spotless. There's so much on the menu that I want to come back and try. I highly recommend this place. And last but definitely not least -- thank you, Demetrius, for noticing my parking time had expired and getting me that extra 15 minutes. You saved me a ticket. You're a true gem. I understand trying to seat everyone on a busy day but come on. This is 2nd time I am finding an inconsistency in the customer service here. I would probably not have posted this had another person not been also complaining about being passed up and had been waiting. I hate when places start thinking they are so popular they can lose customers from bad customer service and it won't make a difference. It's sad when you have 50% good customer service and then the rest that could care less. And before I get some response about it being a busy day due to the big game, the table I was waiting for was almost in the doorway clearly a last resort table. Would I have minded waiting for a spot? No. But why would I since it was only me, clearly my patronage was less valued than everyone else with 2 people or more. How sad. The server couldn't have cared less. It was that crappy bar stool or nothing. Considering even with specials, the minimum spend per person is $30 and up, I guess it's all about maximizing $$ and my $$ aren't enough.
