Was in the area visiting a friend and she suggested we refuel at Marni's from our long walk as it was such a beautiful day out. I've never been here before and I'm glad we stopped in. It's definitely a local's hangout because everyone we met lived in the area. There were plenty of TVs so we watched the football games, played pool and had a bite to eat. The service was good, the staff attentive, everyone was friendly and in a post-Christmas good mood. The menu was diverse with lots of options: my friend ordered a burger, wings and fries - it looked really good. I'm kind of watching what I eat these days and opted for a Cesar salad - BORING I know. The atmosphere was fun with people cheering their teams on but it wasn't so loud where you couldn't hear or hold a conversation - it was just right. I would come again.

Came here with my girl for Thursday Night Football and the energy was on point this spot definitely knows how to host a game night. TVs everywhere, people cheering for their teams, pool tables going ....it's got that laid back, local sports bar vibe down. Started things off with Cadillac Margaritas, and they poured heavy in a good way no complaints here. For apps, we went with the Buffalo Wings always a solid choice here big wings and well sauced. For mains, we split the Fish & Chips and the Jumbo Hot Dog. The fish & chips were unfortunately a huge miss. The breading was thick, soggy, and pretty flavorless, and the fish itself didn't have much going on either. The saving grace was our server she noticed we weren't into it and took it off the bill without us even asking, which was genuinely appreciated. On the flip side, the Jumbo Hot Dog totally redeemed things it hand great flavor and I'd 100% order it again. This was my second time here (first was Monday Night Football), and the verdict's the same.....Marni's nails the game day atmosphere and bar staples like wings, burgers, and dogs. Just don't get too adventurous with the menu stick to what they do best and you'll have a good time.

Perfect for lunch date during the week and even on weekends never really too packed. Food is delicious. Servers are amazing.

Nobody liked the food

Nice venue. the staff worked their butts off. All staff members seemed to be working off of 1 POS system. The drinks were good but No refills. It's hard to mess up Whiskey on the rocks! The food was over priced and terrible, frozen and deep fried. They have so many items on their menu, it's no wonder they can't get one meal right out to the tables. I had to catch the waitress to check on my food. It took over an hour to get it once ordered! I observed more food being dumped into the trash then consumed. I asked several customers about the pizza and got thumbs down on that menu choice. They charge a premium price, $16.95 for a chicken sandwich with fries. Two chicken strips over cooked on a bun with lettuce and tomato. Grissle in the tenders, un-eatable. A 40' bar with one bartender who not only made drinks but had to serve them as well. A good manager would not let a place like this open in the condition it was in! "IT'S A DIVE BAR" Save your money!

OK you would never believe how amazing the burgers & fries are here on Thursday Burger Bash the price is WOW ! We love to get two cheeseburgers and fat fries, our waitress knows us and already has our order in when we walk in. The burger is seriously like the best home cooked BBQ burger, juicy juicy juicy.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday last Friday with an 80s theme. Real Deal band played that night and it was perfect! Food and drinks came out quick and Lizzy made sure I was never thirsty She was on top of things given we were a big crowd! Truly amazing customer service! 5 stars to Marni's... Real Deal and Lizzy!!!!

The view of the sand, rocks, beach, and sunset made the ambience really special and created the perfect beachside atmosphere. I ordered the Wild Atlantic salmon and an espresso martini and both were excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the espresso martini was one of the best I've had. Brian was our bartender and the service really stood out. Drinks were deliciously made, the energy at the bar was fun and welcoming. He made sure everything was very well taken care of throughout the night. Between the food, service, beautiful views, and the fact that it's pet friendly, it made for such a nice experience. Definitely recommend sitting at the Sand Bar and asking for Brian for those amazing drinks and great recommendations!!

It was a beautiful warm Spring day (73 degrees) and we were excited to eat with the great ocean view from The Beach House Seal Beach. Paid for 2 hours of parking and walked over to the restaurant. It was only when we entered the gate where the hostess is that we saw a small sign that said, "Closed." WAIT WHAT???? No indication in the parking lot, no sign at the sidewalk, no sign walking down the walk way. The ONLY notice was buried around a corner saying Closed. We were told they were short staffed and had to close early, sorry. As we walked back to the car, we stopped at least 4 other cars and told them the restaurant was closed. We were able to alert them so they did not pay for parking at a CLOSED restaurant. It felt like the restaurant had NO consideration for the customers. To have NO sign anywhere near where customers would be parking to notify us of a totally unexpected, unanticipated, highly unusual CLOSING at 4 pm for a restaurant that was supposed to be open until 10 pm!!!!! So I called from my car in the parking lot and asked to speak to the manager. When the manager got on he explained that they were short staffed and had to close early. I discussed the lack of notice to customers and how we paid for 2 hours of beach parking. Manager was nice and polite and totally unresponsive to the fact we paid money to visit his restaurant and now had no where to eat and were out the parking fees. I recommended they post a notice where customers could see they were closed BEFORE we paid for our parking. He said they would do it after they finished closing out. I insisted it was only fair that they notified their customers FIRST. So, as we were leaving we saw an employee come out and post a sign. I took a photo because no one would believe how inadequate their posting was if I just described it. The sign is micro small. You can see our car at the bottom of the photo. Would you notice this CLOSED sign? Come on Beach House. We know you can do better for your customers.

Definitely worth it! The vibes are unmatched. It's a unique blend of "top notch cocktail crafting" and "beer and a hot pretzel after work." You can dress up, you can dress down, it's very 'just be yourself' which I love. I've literally had caviar AND hot dogs there in the same night at an event. They know how to blend high/low. Incredible knowledge and ingredients but not snooty patootie. Super inclusive and fun, with cool popups and events happening all the time. It's a full bar so you can get any cocktail you would normally order if you're keeping it simple, or beer, wine, boilermakers, etc. There's a span of offerings and price points, so something for everyone. (Also really good N/A cocktails!) The menu is super inventive and creative! And the cocktail menu changes out every so often so there are new things to try. This area is vintage vibes and Baby Gee speaks it fluently. Really cool decor, curated by the owners who design everything from the playlist to the cocktails to the invention of never-before-seen flavors and shapes of jello shots. Try the Baby Gee appletini while you're there. Mezcal, tequila, sake appletini you ask?? Yes. Trust. And get a hot dog. Do it.

The Wicked Wolf is a kind of place that offers the opportunity for whimsical mischief. For…read moreinstance, they have a rooftop area. And this one time I was there alone with another, no other patrons just staff members walking around from time to time. We stole the moment to dance under the Long Beach sky, just the two of us as a famous Christina Perrio song gently wafted in the night breeze. At another separate time, I was at the Los Angeles County Fair with another. We rode the ferris wheel at such a time where our gondola stopped at the top just as the sun set. The moment was nothing but beautiful and life affirming because the sinking of the sun's light was like a real life video of nature happening in front of us, unburdened by static or data stall. We witnessed nature resting, and I feel, that it was a kin to a beauty falling into a gentle sleep. These two instances have a common factor: momentary bliss arrived to bless an experience because the environment supported discovery of unplanned joy. That is what I associate with the Wicked Wolf, and this time the joy arrived eventually because when my Mom and I arrived to their high tea on Mother's Day the experienced seem like it would land nowhere good. Truth be told, my mom and I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no host in the stand and the place was empty except for a foursome. The energy felt lacked luster. One or two minutes after, the bartender informed us that we were early and the host would come soon. We sat in an available sofa for two, a loveseat persay. This gave us an opportunity to admire the decor that transported us to a storybook forest where good fairies reside, not like swamp creatures and trolls with malevolent fangs and dragon green eyes. I especially loved the large roses in the ceiling. To set the stage, the black ceiling had vines hanging from it, and the few roses were pops of crimson red displayed above. These were wonderful accents to the central mural of the joint that invited the viewer within deeper into the fairy forest where a light shone on an unseen meadow. The place had the decorations and general environment to be a lavender fairy's lounge, but, it did not fully work as a team room. For instance, my mom and I were sat in another lover's couch. Initially, I did not want to sit here because we were given circular tray sets. So imagine being told to sit in a couch, and each of us would get a tv tray. So I was left to wonder if we were going to be served tea in Belle's living room or if were going to watch a flick as we ate pollo loco bowl? But then as I settled into the tranquility of the moment, saw more people come and find their seat or couch, and as the serviced picked-up I realized that this was high tea in a place that had taken disjointed beauty and tackied it together for a patched tea experience that worked well. It was like the experienced was blessed and allowed by the same spirit that brought forth Raggedy Ann. For instance, the pictures show these pretty violet petaled tea cups and matching plates. This pairing was dainty and perfect for a tea party happening under pink veils. But then the sugar cubes came in a hedgehog shaped holder which was just as precious as seeing a piglet in a carriage built for one. Then the cream carrier was in the shape of a milk carton. I wondered where the missing child portrait was? The pastry plate was in the shape of a tropical flower like the ones scattered all over Hawaii. It belonged in a beautiful lei. Each of these elements was cute in its own delicate and whimsical way but together they made an eclectic hodgepodge, not a coherent tea set. And in this asymmetry laid the glitter of their error. The host also brought these clip on dainty hats that were perfect touches for make believe tea party. He carried them around in their original packing, including the box they came in. Not exactly the tailor of the queen, offering hats to the villagers as a gift from her to them, but still the effort magnified the moment. The tea food was the worst stumble that Red took as she was being chased by the Wicked Wolf. To begin with the end analysis, the tea offerings in general were standard, and not bites fit for a princess and her wedding court. For instance, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich was just that---- a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. I detected no effort to make it more than that. The blueberry scone was solid, nothing to skip through a meadow about. But once you added the jam of the table to the scone it was much easier to enjoy. I also had a madeline that was fluffy in the center but could have been purchased maybe at Costco. I had a Macaron and same thing, delicious but I have had something similar before and I suspected that it did not come from a place afloat with Parisian affairs. The best part of the tiers was this puff like thing that had like a Concha texture and design at the top. It was a sweet filled bite that was fit for a man made of muffin.

My sister and I took my mom to Sunday tea for her birthday…read more Cute place and the food and tea were delicious. But sadly my mom could not hear us, due to the music being so loud, we did ask twice if they would turn it down a little to no avail.
