Creamy Vegetarian Ramen and Egg rolls

DELICIOUS. Was on the hunt for some delicious vegetarian ramen in Long Beach and this place was it. I got the spicy vegetarian ramen and it was so good (with a subtle kick of spice - I have a high spice tolerant, so it was very tolerable for me. My partner thought so, too, and he doesn't have as high of tolerant as mine). It's down an ally way and thanks to the beautiful building mural, I was easy to spot Daisy's kitchen. You can place an order ahead of time and pick up, but we placed an order on the screens inside and received a notification about 15 min later to pick up in the respective locker. Didn't have to interact with anyone which was actually a nice change of pace. I'll be returning.

Food is good, but they messed up our order so it really took from our experience. May order again cuz the food was good, but it's all about attention to detail y'know? Sad part is it really wasn't even complicated. Order 1: add seaweed. They charged us, but didn't add it. Order 2 & 3: hot sauce on the side. No hot sauce. Order 4: spicy tonkotsu. No issues with it, but had to share my spicy stew with order #2 to make up for the restaurant's mistake. We're in quarantine, so had to split the food and couldn't give some of my spicy stew to the other order. Also had asked if they could write our names on the lids so it was easier to separate, but that wasn't done. No biggie cuz that was just asking for them to go beyond.

I placed an order for my meal through Uber Eats and upon receiving it, I noticed that it was warm. However, it could have been hotter. Despite this, the dish was incredibly delicious. Nevertheless, I found it necessary to enhance the flavor by adding various seasonings such as salt, black pepper, garlic powder, turmeric, and ginger. These additions truly elevated the taste of the dish. Although I would definitely order it again, I would suggest that they incorporate more seasoning into their preparation. As for the overall experience, I would rate the atmosphere with one star since I did not have the opportunity to see the place in person. On the other hand, the service was impressively quick, earning it a five-star rating. As previously mentioned, the only drawbacks were the lukewarm temperature of the food and the need for additional seasoning.the spring rolls was delicious.

I was looking for a ramen place. I had been craving Ramen the weekend prior, so when I saw the rating and the fact it was super close to work, it was like the perfect find... So it took me a few extra minutes to find the actual entrance location since it is actually in the alleyway.. When you get close, you will tons of parked cars and food runners for door dash uner eats etc. Don't be scared they are just picking up delivery orders inside. You will find two touch screens where you can order from not only the Ramen Giraffe but 34 other restaurants. That's right, there are 35 restaurants to choose from Clever business model for sure not getting side tracked I ordered the Pork Ramen spicy, Hamachi Kama and a Cucumber Salad After the order, it was about 5 minutes or so when they called me up, I chose to eat there so I could see well the food was cooked and I wasn't disappointed... My ramen is steaming hot and spicy, cucumber salad super fresh and crisp with every bite, and my Hamachi Kama. Well, let's just say cooked perfectly... I will definitely be back again!!!

The Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen was perfect for my late night ramen craving! Not only is Giraffe Ramen delicious for takeout, it's actually tastier than many of the ramens I've had dining at ramen shops. It comes topped with wood ear mushrooms, half a soft-boiled egg, bean sprouts, bamboo, ginger, green onions, and of course two tender cuts of tonkotsu. The broth is nicely flavored without being too salty. I really appreciated the thoughtful packaging which separated the noodles/topping and broth in separate compartments within one container so it doesn't get soggy. The container is tied up in a plastic bag to prevent spill. The ratio of noodles/topping and broth was perfect. The next time you have a rainy day ramen craving, give Giraffe Ramen a try!

I'm glad I tried this ramen place. The broth is tasty and spicy, the noodles are silky smooth, and the toppings complement the bowl. I love ramen, so I'll be adding this to my weekly rotation!

Ramen Delivery FTW! They have the best containers for delivery/togo orders. I had the spicy miso and took all of my daughters toppings because she wouldn't eat them. ‍ Warm, filling and delicious! I've order from here a few times and totally going to order again! Delivery time is quoted really high so I was extra excited when I got my food in half the time!!

Packing are great. Fast and convenient. I expected the cucumbers salad to have flavor but it turns out just completely plain with soy sauce on the side. I thought it would be marinated like Thai style cucumber salad or most of the Japanese restaurant cucumber salad. Overall, its an okay ramen but I would not say its the best one in town.

Overall pretty good. I think the testament to a good ramen is the broth and it definately hit the mark there. However, where I feel they needed improvement is the char siu..it was lackluster and dry. That part is hard to make and if I known it would be subpar, I would have gotten the chicken instead. But again, broth was good so I would return.

It took some time to get our orders out but was not a dealbreaker. Food is exceptional quality. The spicy green curry ramen is so delicious. Tastes like you're actually eating curry in ramen form! Went inside and was immediately seated. They have a lunch special where you get either a free drink or miso soup with your meal. I ended up ordering the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and added an egg, with a miso soup. The miso soup came fairly quickly, but was pretty salty - think I had to drink about half my water glass after it. The ramen came a little bit afterwards - the broth was ok, it didn't feel rich enough with pork flavor and also was a little salty. The noodles were just ok also. I think the best part was the egg and chashu. The egg was well made and tasty, while the chashu is a bit more on the meaty side vs fatty side (which I prefer). They do only give you two pieces though. The price overall wasn't bad for ramen but I think the saltiness was a bit too much for my taste. They do have other things like curry that look pretty good, perhaps that would be the order if I end up here again.

But we actually ended up leaving three pieces of the California rolls because it was just meh 3/5 the tampopo Ramen wasn't anything amazing. Definitely wouldn't come here for Ramen again. But given that it was $13 for the Ramen, it's actually not that back compared to the other places in Cerritos at $18 which specializes in Ramen. The food came out quite quickly, but the waiters never asked once how everything was because I probably would've returned the baked scallop roll. This your standard Japanese sushi spot if you want to hit the cravings. But nothing worth checking out if you're traveling or visiting.

The shoya had a meatier tasting broth whereas the other was thicker and a bit creamier. We also tried the pork buns. They were soft and suppose. The meat was tender. The buns would have been less moist since it made it a tad bit soggy. But nonetheless it was still very good. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was shocking. It was so good. I hate tuna but this was very good. It wasn't fishy at all and had such a great umami taste to it all I would totally recommend this place to someone who wants a simple ramen menu that is priced around $20 per entree. The wait can get about an hour or more on the weekend but if you come during the week try to get there before 7pm. The only down side is they add a service charge to your bill. On their menu it's scratched out that you can take it off the bill. I think this is their way of tipping their servers but considering it's 17% is pretty hefty if you have a large bill. The pork buns were really delicious! It has that umami taste you look for when eating pork. The meat was very tender - easy to bite and chew. The bun was nice and soft - had good texture. And the onions that came on it was good. You don't get that oniony, bitter taste that lingers in your mouth. Overall, I enjoyed the food.
