Thai tea

Came here on a Thursday around 6:30pm no wait to order. Small parking lot in front. Inside clean and AC. Ordered the pad thai it was good a bit too oily. The shrimp tempura was good and fresh. Thai tea was on sweeter side. The fried rice with meat was a bit spicy. All in all good for a one time try.

The first drive thru Thai place I've been too and it was a great experience, we were helped by Moo and she's was the sweetest person I've met! I ordered the Tom Yum and a Thai iced tea. The food was delicious, one of the best Tom Yums I've tried so far. It was the first one also with tomato which I thought was strange but still good.

Omg. This place is still bomb. Been coming here since 2000 while at lbcc. Once a month. Still the same female owners , I think they are sisters. Their lunch or dinner specials are always a good. Deal. Coming in the restaurant feels like I am in Hawaii. Staff are super dope.

Ordered online for pick up. This was our first time trying to spot as we are just in town on vacation. Enjoyed all of the options they had plus their quick service! The staff was super friendly when we picked up and although we did not get to stay to eat. It looked like a cute place to dine in and hang out. Will definitely try again if we're in the area.

Our Thai spot in Lakewood area. Saw this place when we drove in the area last month and decided to dine in while visiting this time. Ordered the following: Thai Corner Fried Rice - delicious and tasty fried rice. Great amount of meat/shrimp. Well balanced seasonings. 4/5 Beef Panang Curry - taste on point but I prefer the curry in the thicker side. Beef wasn't the cut I was hoping. Tenderness was ok. 2/5 Chicken Curry - sauce was perfect to my pallet. Chicken was tender. You can request how spicy you prefer. I like the sauces thicker so this wasn't really for me. 3/5 Lunch Special Pad Thai (Shrimp) - delicious and fresh shrimp and vegetables. 5/5 BBQ Chicken (Half) - well marinated chicken. The dark meat was juicy but the breast is kinda dry. Their sauce was so good though. It wasn't just the sauce they sell in stores. 3/5 Papaya Salad - fresh ingredients with their well balanced homemade sauce. 5/5 Mango Sweet Rice - absolutely on point! Had a lot of mango sticky rice before but never close to this one. Perfect combination of the sticky rice and sweet mango slices. 5/5 Great dining atmosphere and customer service with reasonable price. Not a lot of parking but drive through is available. Highly recommended!

I ordered the mango sticky rice, chicken pad Thai and beef fried rice through the drive-thru! Service was great. Food was on point & delicious. Everything was well packaged. I will definitely come back!

Avengers Assemble! So we have been coming to this place for…read moreover a decade... basically since the first Iron Man movie came out. It is always 6 out of 5 stars. This is defintely the best Thai food in the area. It hits your tastebuds harder than Hulk smashing Loki. The curries are rich in flavor and the noodles are perfectly cooked,, the texture is just spot on. I feel like Doctor Strange when I eat here just experiencing all the different flavor timelines at once. The Pad Kra Pow is superb and the seafood is just divine! But here is the real superpower. they can make dishes with absolutely no sugar! I usually keep a pretty close eye on carbs and sugar, so finding a spot that does this is huge. Most places can't do that cause their curries are pre-prepped like mass-produced Ultron bots. But Original Thai makes it to order from scratch. It is like Shuri customizing your gear right in the Wakandan lab. The ladies here are super friendly and treat you like family.. Prices are very reasonable so you don't need Tony Stark money to eat like a king. Food and service are wonderful. Highly recomended.

I've been coming to this location for the past 4 years and have tried many different dishes but my go-to dishes are the Yellow Curry and Garlic Pepper Chicken. The portions are big enough to share and the rice is always spot on with the meat dishes. They have the pickled chili on the table and offer additional hot sauces if needed. The location is on the smaller size with limited seating but the turnaround wait for food is quick so whether you wait to dine in or take it home it'll be worth it.

If you love karaoke and Thai food, this is definitely the place to go!…read more I love the party lights and the disco they got going on during karaoke!! Lol it's located in a plaza, so there's plenty of parking! They start karaoke around 7p and it was a fun time lol. The food is great, highly recommend the pad thai, krapow over rice, and the Lao style papaya salad! The food is sooo flavorful and depending on who makes the Lao style papaya salad (my favorite), it can be on the fishier and more pungent side. But their papaya salad was pretty balanced. Lao style is generally more sour, spicy, and pungent whereas Thai style tends to be sweeter and lighter tasting. Also, if you're not a fan of spice or have a more sensitive stomach, do NOT get medium spice lol. Your stomach might hurt. Even though we were finished eating and had been there for almost 2 hours, the staff were still serving us water and offered the very front seat as the "free seat" to sit at, since it's a non serving table. But it was getting late, so we decided to leave. You'll def get your money's worth!

Chicken satay skewers with peanut dipping sauce Papaya salad with shrimp also spicy and refreshing Thai iced tea came in a carafe Ended with mango sticky rice dessert. Lively atmosphere especially with the match on TV. Attentive service considering it was pretty busy for the night. Plentiful parking spaces.

Beautiful interior but no parking out front or in the back if you go at dinner time…read more We went on a Sunday to watch the Chiefs Colts game. The south facing bar area seats were taken up so we sat at a two person table (it's just wife and I). Luckily the seats were facing the screen so we were good. There were seats at the north facing bar but that tv is old, small and has horrible picture. It was dark and the resolution was horrible. I ordered duck curry and wife ordered tom yum soup. We also got an appetizer of the spare ribs. Waitress told us our table would not fit all the food and asked us to relocate. I told her we wanted to watch the game and she told us we can move to a table facing the tiny tv. I was pissed because we could really enjoy the game now, however she was right about the table. With three large bowls of food, two empty bowls for our soup, two glasses of water, two bowls of rice and the condiments rack, it did not fit a two person table. If only they would have allowed us to wait until a larger table cleared up or had she told us there was a larger table tv upstairs, that would have been helpful. We didn't find out until the end of the meal. Anyways service was great and attentive until it started getting busy. Then they were no where to be found. The duck curry was delicious. The meat was tender and the curry was just the right amount of spicy and sweet. Love the grapes and pineapples. The soup was good, wish it came in a pot like other places. It got cold really quick in a bowl. The spare ribs were very dry and salty, we took it home for our dogs.

Absolutely delicious. I've spent many years searching for an authentic & eclectic Thai restaurant and I have found it in Hawaiian Gardens. The Real Thai Food is the place to be, period. Real Thai Food has decent portions and reasonable prices overall…read more We tried several dishes: The Tom Kha was a little disappointing. It leaned heavily lemony/sour, and the chicken was on the dry side. The flavors just didn't feel very balanced. The Duck Curry had good flavor and a nice level of spice -- it may be too spicy for some, but it was perfect for me. It comes with pineapple and tomatoes, although the tomato pieces were a little chunky for my preference. I also wish there had been more duck, as there were only a few pieces. The Pad Thai was good. The noodles had a nice chewy texture and the sauce was flavorful. There weren't a ton of bean sprouts, and they were tossed in with the noodles rather than served separately, but overall I enjoyed it. The Mango Sticky Rice was probably my favorite. The rice was cooked really well, the sweet sauce was delicious, and there was a good proportion of mango to sticky rice. One thing to note if you're getting takeout: they didn't provide any napkins or utensils, so make sure to ask if you need them. The restaurant is right off a busy street. There are only a few parking spots in front, but there's a sign saying additional parking is available in the back. Getting out was a little tricky -- I had to back directly out onto the busy street. Overall, the portions were decent and prices were reasonable, but the food was a bit hit or miss for me. The Pad Thai and mango sticky rice were the standouts, while the Tom Kha was disappointing and the duck curry was a little light on the duck. Nothing was particularly bad, but overall I wasn't impressed enough that I'd go out of my way to come back.
