Went on a Tuesday night and only one other family was there. Food came out SO fast. We got the pad see ew, drunken noodles, and pineapple fried rice. The food was good, but not great. Nothing in particular stood out. I was sad you couldn't custom the spice level on the pad see ew- we were offered for it to be tossed in their spicy sauce but I just decided to have it on the side. I met a friend who works nearby in Cerritos and she always asks me to choose the restaurant and I like trying new (to me) places as I am always on the hunt to find those "hidden gems". There wasn't a lunch crowd on this Thursday as we patronized this place at 11:30am til around 1:15pm. Service was excellent by the only wait person on staff and the food was delicious (we both ordered chicken pad thai and crab rangoons). Now, these are lunch specials which came with an egg roll and they were big portions (I took half of mine home and enjoyed later). Parking is plentiful but congested as it shares many spaces with other businesses in the strip mall where it is located. Stopped by Monora Thai for some late lunch! We got the Pad Thai (added chicken) & the Tom Kha Soup with shrimp, both hit the spot! The Pad Thai was on the saucier side more so sweet, but still really tasty' If you like your noodles bold & flavorful, you'll probably enjoy it. The grilled shrimp was a nice add-on too! The Tom Kha Soup was warm, coconut-milky, & super comforting. The kind of dish that just makes you feel cozy. The chicken was nice & tender too! We've been coming to Monora Thai for a long time, and after a long break, we stopped by again last weekend when a Khao Soi craving hit. It's one of the few places nearby that offers it, and their version is still good--rich, flavorful, and big enough to share. Our experience for their Togo food pick up order on Uber Eats was positive. The food had an authentic Thai taste. Their medium spice level had a nice kick to it. We enjoyed the pad see ew, green curry, and laab salad. The parking lot can be super busy so take account for that if you're meeting with friends to dine in. They have lunch specials everyday starting at 11am. I ordered Pad See Eww and she ordered the Pad Thai both were $11.95 which was an absolute bargain! The pad see eww was delicious! It was tasty and flavorful! I like that they used the authentic Chinese Broccoli which is the correct version! I tried my sister's pad Thai and it was delicious as well! My friends and I found this little gem by accident. We were in the neighborhood and decided to give this place a try. We walked in without a reservation and were seated right away, even though our entire party wasn't there. It's a small restaurant and I can tell that they get busy, so I really appreciated how patient they were as we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Service was great - they were very attentive and our food arrived quickly! Not to mention, the pricing was worth it with the quality and amount of food that we were given. My sister had told me how good their food was a few years back and I finally got to try their delicious dishes. We ordered 2 Thai green curry with chicken and two basil started with ground chicken. Both came with jasmine rice. The basil stirfry was extremely delicious and had a strong aroma from the holy basil. The green curry was creamy but not super rich, which makes it easy to eat without feeling overpowering. Overall, I'd defiantly go back here again to try other dishes. The portion for the food is shareable between 2-4 people for the Pad Thai and Tom Yum. The Green Curry comes in a smaller bowl so I would recommend getting 2 orders if you're with a group of 4 or more. The service is always fast and I don't have to wait too long for my food. There's plenty of seating and it can seat big parties. If you're in the area and craving Thai food I would come here. Solid 4 11/4/23 Generally we would just go to The Original Thai Bbq but decided to try another Thai place. This was a great choice Hubby wanted his usual spicy chicken panang curry & I opted to get the pad Thai & satay combo with steamed white rice. Additionally, I wanted more egg rolls so I got that. They server is polite & attentive. Our food arrived shortly. Everything was piping HOT-that's a major plus. Finally got the try this place and I found the food taste to be split. The padsiew and ribs were just ok, wouldn't order again. Khao soi sauce was delish but noodle and chicken weren't the same type compared to what I had when eating this dish in Thailand. Should be whole chicken leg/thigh, not like the thinly sliced chicken found in all their other curry and noodle dishes. Yellow curry was also very tasty. The noodle dishes and fried rice dishes are definitely enough to share. I always either get their Pad See Ew or Panang Curry and can't go wrong with either one.
