I wish more people knew about this place. It's a little kiosk tucked away inside 99 ranch, slinging out some solid Chinese noodles. While there are a ton of places like this popping up all over LA and OC, I really like to come here before a grocery run or just cause. It's a no frills place that is all about the food but service is helpful if you have any questions. Their menu is huge but I always order their liang pi, cold noodles with chili sauce and bean sprouts, which is refreshing with a zing of heat. Pair this with some dishes from their cold bar and that is a top tier meal in my book. Their cold bar selection has a lot to choose from so it never hurts to order a little extra and take it home to spruce up another meal for later. I'm not a big dumpling person but I've heard some folks really enjoy their boiled ones with chili oil drizzled on top. Not for me, but give it a whirl if you're a dumpling fan! I wanted to like this place more. We tried two of the lunch specials - green beans with chicken and the crispy fish. It was okay but I think you could do better at other restaurants. It'd likely cost more than the $9.99 tho. Also had the hand pulled noodles with munched pork which was a better quality than the lunch specials. Sichuan Beef Lunch Special (medium heat)- A tad salty, and I have a solid tolerance to salt. Although, perhaps requesting medium heat meant adding extra fermented chili bean paste, thus a bit too salty. The Sichuan Beef Lunch Special had a fair amount of beef, and a heaping portion of onions. $9.99 is a reasonable price for the amount of food given, and provided a satisfying hot meal. The cashier was friendly & helpful with recommendations. Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a fast casual eatery, located inside 99 Ranch Market. Seating is shared with the in-house to go cafeteria. For $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a solid food option. How does it compare with the former tenant? From my recollection, Changan Kitchen had more generous portions, including more rice. Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are paired with a small bowl of rice. However, it's been a year or two since Changan Kitchen was open, and prices have skyrocketed to egregious levels, for many things. Tucked inside a renovated 99 Ranch Market food court is a noodle/soup joint that serves just about everything from soups, to Chinese style burger and loaded noodles and fried rice. The place is neat and clean and they provide cold water for customers and .50 for non diners. Service was friendly and fast. You get 3 choices for the cold salad (bean sprouts, carpaccio like meat etc, enjoyed and shared the veggies and the beef noodle brisket. It is definitely a great value for your dollar. They're known for their Northern Chinese cuisine and their hand pulled noodles; however, I ordered their pan-fried pork buns and some pan fried pork and chive dumplings. Overall, I felt that the dumplings were good; however, I wish that they came with some chili oil, black vinegars, or soy sauces. I thought that those should be standard; however, they were not. Love this place. Just know there can be a slight language barrier but they're super friendly and patient. That said, I typically don't have any mistakes with my orders. I feel like they were the same as the ones from the previous place. Saltiness of the pork was a good contrast to the sweetness of the bun. 4/5 -Biang Biang Hand Ripped Noodles: These were unfortunately not the same. I feel like they weren't as saucy, spicy, and flavorful as the previous restaurant's. Noodles were still a good chewy consistency. The overall dish was good but just not as good as Changan's. 3/5 Overall, I did enjoy my food from here and server was very friendly but the noodles were just not as good. 3/2/25 Located inside 99 Ranch market in the city of Artesia. Decided to finally try out their food. Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! The other eatery next to it was also interesting but the lady I said Hi to simply looked at me & walked away into the kitchen (how rude!) So guess who lost a customer? I place a high value on customer service so I am more inclined to try new places based off this. Yummy Noodle offer cold & hot noodles but I opted to try the specials, usually $10.99 combo on weekdays but for weekends it's $13.99. Ordered the Eggplant with shredded pork & Fish filet with black bean sauce, each with steamed rice. My order took about 12 minutes to cook (although the friendly cashier said 5 minutes). I spent my time waiting by purchasing other treats at the HK Bakery across the market on the other side. There are tables & chairs for customers to enjoy their meals. It's like cafeteria style seating inside of 99 Ranch market. Took the well packed combos & I was on my merry way. It was fairly hefty in weight & the portions are generous for $30 worth of food. Tried each & was glad I finally ordered from Yummy Noodle. The eggplant was still fresh & hot, seasoning is perfect, the fish filet was equally tasty! Will definitely order to try other menu items. I didn't get to take photos of the food but will have opportunities when I return. This is a hidden gem located in 99 ranch market. I love the Biang biang mian here! The noodles are super thick and chewy with perfect consistency, mixed in a delicious sauce. The cold appetizers were yummy too including the cold pig ears and bean sprout vegetable mixes. Everything was seasoned so well. Their biang biang noodles are so flavorful and bouncy! Love the texture of these al dente chewy noods. They always hit the spot. We also got a soup which has decent flavor. We asked for both dishes spicy. They brought out a condiment tray so that we can add our spices. The soup came out piping hot. It did make the noodles more on the soft side if you don't eat it fast. We also got the pan fried buns. That took awhile to cook because they said it was frozen. We almost left the restaurant forgetting about them.
