Found Flavor Pho on Yelp and decided to give it a try for lunch. We stopped by on Labor Day and thankfully had no wait with plenty of tables available inside. The interior looks a bit older. It was also pretty dim during our visit as the lights weren't particularly bright and it seemed like they were relying mostly on the natural light coming through the front door and windows. The back half of the restaurant didn't even have the lights turned on, which made that area feel especially dark. It was also a bit warm inside so I'm not sure if the AC wasn't turned on fully or just wasn't keeping up. Ordered a Large Pho ($15) and the Broken Rice with Grilled Beef + Egg Rolls ($17). Portions were okay overall, although the broken rice dish felt a little skimpy for the price. The pho had a decent amount of noodles but neither dish really stood out to us. Everything was decent but there wasn't anything that I would come out of my way for. Flavor Pho is a fine option if you're in the area and looking for a casual bowl of pho, but there are other Vietnamese spots I'd probably choose first. Located in a large plaza with plenty of other businesses and restaurants. Parking can get a little difficult during peak hours so you may need to drive around for a spot depending on when you visit.
I only had a "to go" experience with this place but I was very pleased. I called in my order and got there a few minutes early from pick up. The place was full which Jc I usually noticed when I passed by. It's pretty clean and the service was quick. What I was pleased with the most besides the food was the kindness of the servers. They attended to me and gave me water while I waited a few mins to get my food bagged. They even gave me a seat at the back. Super friendly and the pho was definitely flavor pho!
Pretty solid vietnamese spot in a busy Cerritos plaza. Located next to Class302 and Creamistry, parking can be quite tough. Regardless, if you're craving Vietnamese food that feels homemade, this is the spot for you. The interior feels dated and yet homey at the same time. I tried their vermicelli with beef and eggroll and their shaken beef rice plate. The vermicelli bowl was delicious and all of the toppings and fish sauce made it a very filling bowl. The shaken beef was nice and tender, and I love that it came with broth and a salad. Service was friendly and came around refilling water.
Today we came to celebrate the life of my sister, she loved PHO. The food was delicious. We got egg rolls, spring rolls and PHO. Everything was absolutely perfect. The service was top notch. The seen a lot of people in front but it was a short wait. Inside the restaurant was nice and had a nice Ambiance. We would highly recommend Flavor Pho
On a Wednesday night around 8, we (2) were able to be seated right away. The staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I got the veggie + tofu pho with the veggie broth. You do have the choice of beef broth. It came out quickly! It was a pretty standard bowl for $14. Portion size was in the middle too. Nothing stood out in particular except that the tofu seemed to have a sour taste so I was a bit turned off by that. If I were to come back, I'd try something different but there's probably only one other dish I'd try
This is my go to spot in Cerritos. This place is delicous! Plenty of parking. This place gets busy but we always manage to find seating in a timely manner. Consistent visits through out the year. Great customer service and good food. You won't be dissapointed here, prices are fair.
I always come here whenever I crave pho and its the best place. They always seat everyone super fast and get the food out right away. Its small but has many seats and never has a wait. I always get the brisket and chicken pho, egg rolls, and thai tea and everything is always so good love it here!
Been looking for a place nearby for pho with good broth and this is the place! I am super picky when it comes to broth. I'm not a fan of that super strong clove/star anise flavor and most of the other places we've tried all taste like that. Flavor Pho's broth is on point. Great flavor and tastes good on its own without any added condiments their egg rolls are also really good. Compared to other pho places in this area that cost around $17-18, a regular here is around $13! Me and my family have been coming here the last few years now. Will be returning for as long as we're living in the area
I was not expecting much when I arrived but left very impressed. The staff is kind, the ambience is calm and peaceful, and good is delicious. The tofu veggie pho is so light and flavorful. The tofu is perfectly crisp (if you ask for it that way). This is a staple spot for me now.
We ordered eggrolls, shrimp spring rolls and rare steak pho. Eggrolls came out barely warm with just okay flavor, nothing crazy. Spring rolls were pretty small. 2 size options for the bowls of pho. Not the best pho but still good for a rainy day. There was about a 5min wait time. Service was nice and friendly no complaints there. Restaurant was clean and nicer than a lot of other pho places I've been too. Not sure if we would go back, there's better places close by. Happy we tried it.

A good amount of meat and noodles were added in and I was satisfied. Parking was really bad because there were other amazing food spots in this plaza, but I eventually found a spot in the back. Service was quick and food came out almost right away! I'll definitely be coming back.

Flavor Pho is hands down the best pho I've ever had. I'm not even looking for another pho spot at this point. I've probably been here 15-20 times, and they've consistently kept me coming back. My go-to is definitely the beef pho. The broth and flavor just hit every time. The shrimp pho is really good too, and honestly, I've tried some of their other plates and haven't really been disappointed. They have plenty of options besides pho, and pretty much everything I've had has been good. The service is excellent, but what really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. It doesn't feel like some big restaurant--it has more of that family-run, home-style feeling where you feel comfortable coming back again and again. After 15-20 visits, I think it's safe to say this is my spot. If you're looking for some really good pho, I definitely recommend Flavor Pho. read more
When I say I need to go back ASAP, I'm not exaggerating! The pho here is SO good. I seriously recommend coming to this location, you will not be disappointed! The staff are also incredibly nice and attentive. The wait time was practically nonexistent; I swear our food came out so fast, but everything still tasted super fresh and delicious. I personally prefer my pho without a bunch of extra add-ins, and this was definitely one of those bowls that was already so flavorful on its own that I didn't feel like it needed anything else. Even if you're someone who normally likes adding things to your pho, I'd honestly recommend trying it as-is first because it's THAT good. The location itself is also really spacious, so even when it gets a little busy, it never feels overly crowded or cramped. I genuinely recommend giving this place a try. Come for the pho! The pho is delicious and it's not oily and the portions are appropriate. The meat is also good. Service was ok. There's not much ambiance. But there's plenty of seating. I would suggest steering clear away from the spring rolls and egg rolls. Unfortunately, they fill it completely with lettuce and the price is way over priced for lettuce. read more

I came in on a Saturday to have a much needed bowl of pho. Flavor Pho has plenty of private parking. I didn't look at the been as I knew exactly what I wanted: small bowl of pho with rare beef, tendon and tripe. The man who took my order was very friendly, After I sat down, 4 groups of 2-4 also arrived. After about 8 minutes, my pho arrived. The broth is hot, had great aroma, full of ingredients and a side of veggies (basil, lemon wedge and bean sprouts). My only issue is that the broth is salty. Reduce the salt so when we add the hoisin sauce, it's perfect! Definitely recommend and will return when im in the area. $12 for a small bowl - you can't beat this price! read more

I haven't writen a review yet, but I felt like I had to this time. The food is amazing and every time I come here, we usually get the same things but recently we've tried new things. The grilled chicken pho and crispy noodles with stir-fried beef are delicious. We have been coming here since the place opened which is around ten years ago. It's always a good and a very tasty experience. I will recommend this to anyone who likes pho. read more
Its almost soup season ! Always great service & food here. The bathrooms,tables & menus are always spotless. Its one of the few places that serves Bún bò Huế , and Flavor phos is delicious! I much prefer it over pho. Bún bò Huế is a spicy red broth with slightly thicker noodles . Give Flavor Pho a try! read more

Yummy soup! Perfect place to go on a cold day. My girlfriend and I stopped here yesterday for some lunch. As busy and full as the parking lot was, this restaurant was nearly empty with only 3 parties in there around lunch time! It seems like most of the people that were parked there went to get dim sum, AYCE sushi, or Korean BBQ. We knew what we wanted to order (we normally order the same thing everywhere). We ordered A2. Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls, I got P2. Rare Steak, and she got P1. Flavor Pho Combination. The results: - A2. Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls: They come in a pair with each cut in half. Accompanied by the usual sauce with peanuts in it. It tasted refreshing and was pretty good. - P2. Rare Steak: I feel like most people order this as it's simple and good. The soup was delicious. I ordered an extra side of rare steak for more protein :). Good soup! - P1. Flavor Pho Combination: My girlfriend said it was really good and she finished a large bowl plus the spring rolls! That says a lot. Service was good. The man who greeted us and helped us out was always smiling and cheerful. We sat ourselves and were helped immediately. Parking was a little bit of a pain since it was packed due to the other restaurants in the plaza. There's only a few spots in the front of the restaurant, and unfortunately two of the spots in front are for curbside pickup for AT&T (what the heck!). The restaurant has a chill ambiance and the waiters are ok. Im not saying that they have great customer service because when we ordered the food no one did come and ask us if we needed something. We asked for jalapeño and they brought very little so im not giving them the great customer service credit. The pho was small and the meat portion was even smaller! There were meat parts that we werent able to chew...We are pho lovers and we are going pho places so often and we never faced such an experience. We also ordered shrimp spring rolls and when i was eating I tasted weird taste and when i opened up the wrap i saw the shrimp back wasnt clean properly and it had vein! I decided to choose the restroom and it wasn't clean! The toilet bowel looked weird! Overall, It wasnt a pleasant experience! read more

Came on a Sat night for dinner and was seated right away. #1 Flavor Pho Combo & #6 Rare Steak and Tripe Combo- 4.5/5: Both soups came out warm and full of flavor. The broth was very clean. It had lots of meat and noodles. Got small for one of them and it was still a decent size despite being a small. It was just slightly smaller than the large one. read more

First time trying this place since I am still on the hunt to find a reliable pho spot in Cerritos. Vermicelli appeared fine, the staff was friendly...but when I got home I realized they burned the meat and tried to hide it underneath...and there was a ton of oil that soaked onto my table which was also not very appealing. Taking 2 stars off for the awful spoons , like what's the deal?!?! I asked for a new one (no tray of utensils on the table) and gave me another dirty spoon, I really gave them the benefit of the doubt by thinking it's like a patina but I was able to scratch it off with my finger nail, you can see the scratches I made. The pho was fine, tasted mid, serve the lemon instead of a lime (roll eyes). I sip the broth from the bowl and it tasted okay. The spoon leaves the cleansiness there suspect I'm afraid. read more

Do they served stuff as to go?
Yes. I got pho to-go, and after a 20-minute drive back to school it was still very hot; which is great!
