Pho Tasty is a no frills, legit, and authentic Vietnamese eatery in the Artesia area. They have their own parking lot here with a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a modest setup with a good amount of seating. For their menu, they have all of the classics to choose from. I got the Com Ga Roti and wifey got the Combination Pho. You really cannot go wrong with anything you order here. There is a reason why this spot has over 2,000+ positive reviews. Pho Tasty is Viet gang approved!

    7) Pho with Rare Steak

perfect everytime . the broth hits every time, fresh flavors and super comforting without feeling heavy. i keep it simple with brisket + steak. it's the kind of place i pull up to alone whenever you're craving something warm and filling. quick service, chill vibe, nothing extra, just good food done right.

I've ordered takeout from here a few times, for Vietnamese, love this place! Just picked up dinner. It's priced fair, good portions, parking lot always seems to be packed. The food was fresh, ready quick, staff nice as usual. If you want Pho around the Cerritos or neighboring areas, I highly recommend this place. Has a great vibe and feel for a restaurant if you eat-in, like a unique family restaurant.

Another Revisit. Great as always. It was a rainy Christmas Eve, this place opened up at 11am sharp. Entered and had the option to pick my own table. Just had one thing in mind which was a Pho Combo soup large. 5 minutes passes and wala! Received my combo large. Nothing short of this experience. Was treated nicely. The staff is very professional. Excellent choice for pho. Parking lot gets crowded, definitely this place is the spot in cerritos!! You won't be dissapointed.

First time here and it was really good! When I got here there was quite a wait, but the wait is definitely worth it. The staff is really busy and they do their best. Now the food, the pho is really really good. The broth is super clean and they give you a big portion! I got the #11 (not pictured) with rare steak and brisket, the charbroiled pork chop (not pictured) - but this was the best pork chop I have at pho restaurants, definitely getting this again. And lastly the egg roll and spring rolls which can never go wrong! Overall, everything here was phenomenal

We came here on a Friday night and got seated right away. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as it is small and a bit tight. Restrooms are available and are clean. Customer service was attentive and our food came out in good timing. My beef and rice had tons of flavor and the crispy egg rolls hit the spot!

Located in Artesia off Pioneer and South Street, Pho Tasty is a local's spot for a pretty good bowl of pho. It's pretty no frills, but the broth is aromatic, it's loaded with flavor, and you have everything you need at the table to get the balance you want. Cost of a bowl of pho has gone up significantly over the years; however, that's unfortunately the case everywhere. A small bowl of pho dac biet is $13 and a large bowl is $15. The biggest difference between the two sizes is that the large bowl has a ridiculous amount of rice noodles. If you don't need a double (or possibly triple) portion of rice noodles, then the small is good. I do like having varied textures in the pho dac biet from tripe, tendon, and meatballs; however, if you only want brisket, then you can get your bowl of pho for about $1-2 cheaper. I also like to get a side order of pickled onions to give a nice acidic kick to my meat and soup. We also usually get an order of their pork and shrimp spring rolls ($8 for 2) and they're OK. This is a good place for a good bowl of pho that doesn't try to be over the top. The prices are OK and it will always be busy during peak hours.

Came here for dinner around 5:30, which I thought was early, but the place was already packed and busy. The parking lot is pretty small, but we managed to snag a spot. We waited about 10 minutes before getting seated. I ordered the pho dac biet (regular), and the broth was super flavorful -- didn't even need to add hoisin sauce. I just tossed in some chilis and sriracha to make it spicy, and it was perfect. Our food came out really fast too; they took our order right away and everything hit the table shortly after. Overall, a solid pho spot with great broth, quick service, and a lively atmosphere. I'd definitely come back!

Thai Tea and the Pho with brisket and steak.

If you're looking for a restaurant that will get you in and out quickly, this is a great option. It was a weekend night at 8 o'clock, so I was worried we would have to wait a while. But despite the restaurant being packed with people and a little loud, they immediately seated us. The service throughout was very fast, and we had our food within no time. We both got the classic pho; however, I got mine with steak, and my boyfriend got his with brisket. We also got the eggrolls, and he got a Thai tea. The steak was very tender and juicy, and the eggrolls were probably some of the best I've had. Overall, I loved this restaurant and would come again, especially if I had a cold and needed some Pho to cure me!

This is a good place to satisfy your taste for some pho! Service was fast, good portions, flavor was on point. Really nothing to complain about. Everything came out really quickly. We got some egg rolls for our appetizers and it was hot and fresh. Just some classic delicious egg rolls with fish sauce as your dipping sauce. Pho was flavorful and broth was hot. They gave a lot of meat even in the regular. The large was huge. We honestly could've shared. If you are feeling a bowl of pho, give this place a try. I know there are a lot of options around but this place does it right with real fast service!

pho with rare steak & brisket = $12.00 for a small

3.5 stars There are many things I like about Pho Tasty. For one, the wait isn't too aggressive and there's a space with seats should you have to wait. Secondly, it's so cheap here. To start, we shared an order of the charbroiled pork patty rolls ($8.00 for 2). These are like regular spring rolls, but sub the shrimp and pork. The charbroiled pork patty rolls (nem) comes rolled with greens and vermicelli noodles + peanut sauce. These were good - there was nice char on the pork patty rolls. I ordered #11 - rare steak and brisket ($12.00 for a regular). Obviously the better value is the special combo ($15.00 for a large) where you get a bigger bowl of pho with a variety of meat. I appreciated that the pieces of meat were cut into sizable pieces and there was plenty per bowl. The broth fell a little short for me. It didn't have that oomph that you seek when you're eating pho. It was a very okay bowl of pho. Definitely tasty and satiating.

5A. Crispy Vietnamese Egg Rolls with Lettuce Wraps
    Juan G.

Stopped by Pho Tasty in Artesia and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the mango smoothie, and it was so good -- super refreshing for a hot summer day. The crispy Vietnamese egg rolls with lettuce wraps and noodles were a solid 10/10. Wrapping it all together was amazing -- perfect crunch, flavor, and freshness in every bite. For my main, I got the #6, and the broth was incredibly flavorful -- rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. Honestly, it was so good I forgot to take a picture (a true sign of great food). Service was quick and attentive. I was really thirsty, and they refilled my water without me even having to ask once. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

We were trying to find a casual place that wouldn't be too difficult for young kids. They are well equipped with high chairs, boosters, and cradle baskets. Food comes out quick and portions are sizable. Shrimp, pork, chicken were all well cooked and flavorful. Egg rolls were crispy but could use a punch. Tofu stir fry also reportedly delicious. Overall, a solid place for noodles and soup that the entire family can enjoy They have indoor and covered outdoor seating with a decent private parking lot

I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. It's tucked in a small strip mall with limited parking. The inside is very small, but cozy, clean, and has a warm mom and pop feel to it. This was probably one of the most well cooked and seasoned satay. Very moist and well flavored. The peanut sauce was spot on and the vinegar sweet chutney is a perfect balance and adds a nice crunch texture. _Tom Kha Fish Noodle Soup ($14.99) Rice noodles with fresh fish filet, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, galangal, kaffir lime, leaves in coconut milk spicy & sour soup. I would grow up having Tom Kha soup with my dad but was surprised as I've never seen fish kha in a noodle soup. I've had lots of Tom Kha and this is one of the top 3 I've had. The perfect amount of spices and aromas. Not too acidic or watery, and the right amount of sweetness. The fish was soft and had a good amount. The noodles were glass noodles, which was nice but I will say towards the end, the noodle soaks a lot of the broth. I would probably switch out for a different type of noodle next time. _Spicy Fried Rice ($13.79) Stir-fried with green beans, bell pepper, basil and your choice of chicken, pork or tofu. My bf ordered this and he did ask for medium but it was not really spicy (and that's coming from me, someone who really can't do spicy) Second time he ordered it mild and he said it was better and it did pack a bit more of a punch. I do appreciate that the rice was well seasoned and not too oily or buttery. _Orange Chicken ($13.79) Chicken breaded stir fried with Orange sauce. We have been on an orange chicken kick and compare to our favorite at Northern Cafe. We were pleasantly surprised, that this actually knocked it out. To be fair, its very different. I'm used to orange chicken being very sweet and heavy on sauce. This was more of a light sauce that had a tangerine flavor profile, so not overpowering, but still tasting the chicken with the sweetness being the enhancement instead of the main component. _Yen Ta Fo ($14.99) Pink rice noodles with special red soup, shrimp, squid, fish-balls, fish cake, imitation crab stick, tofu, white fungus & vegetables. I first saw this, when my gf, whom is Thai ordered it and I was intrigued as it was a dish I have never seen. I tried a bit and was a fan so when I saw they had it, I had to try their version. The soup was the perfect balance of sweet and sour (and I generally don't like sour), a bit acidic but also had a subtle light and refreshing taste to it. The white fungus had a nice chew to it, but more texture than taste. Safe to say we have found our new favorite Thai restaurant. We came here twice, and both times service is always very inviting and kind. Price is very fair for the quality and quantity.
