We have been here a couple of times for pho which was pretty good, but we specifically came back again to try all their other more unique dishes and they were pretty worth trying! Overall the food quality is always good, service is always courteous and helpful, and the price is good value for the quantity. One specialty we tried was Bahn Beo, it wasn't on the menu but was featured on a poster outside previously, we asked and it was available. It's an interesting appetizer came out in 7 little dishes. Each dish has dry shrimps, and other goodies on steamed rice cake. The server taught us to cut each in halves using spoon, add sauces and scoop it up to eat. It's true a flavorful and unique dish. We also had Vietnamese beef stew with bread, the stew was very flavorful and the bread was superb. Warm, soft inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. We also had grilled beef with rice and grilled beef with rice vermicelli (dry), they were both excellent as well. The portions were very generous and we had plenty of leftovers to take with us and enjoy again.
Parking was very crowded and tight in some areas but we were able to find a spot quickly. We came here for dinner around 7:30pm and got seated right away. Servers were all friendly but a bit slow to drop off water and take our order. We had to flag them down each time. We ordered - fresh spring rolls - fat with veggies but dipping sauce was too sweet. Came with 3 cut in half 3.5/5 - fried spring rolls - it was ok, not the best filling but came with lots of veggies 3/5 - scallops - flavorful and decent 4/5 - banh xeo - very bland, not enough meat and too much bean sprouts, fish sauce was good 1.5/5
Came here for dinner on a Friday night. It wasn't too packed, we were seated right away. To start off, the service is great. Everyone was so nice. However, the food to us was okay. The grilled chicken vermicelli was probably the best thing. We got the eggrolls, which is a little bland. The banh xeo, very bland and barely any protein, all bean sprouts. The spring rolls sauce was heavy hoisin sauce, doesn't even taste like any peanut butter in there. Don't get the scallops, sorry not worth it. Maybe our standard are a bit higher because we are from Westminster/Garden Grove :/ Wanted to leave my honest review.
In a market where many pho restaurants tend to taste remarkably similar - perhaps because they source comparable ingredients or rely on similar premade bases - Ngon Yummy stands out by serving a bowl that feels distinct from the crowd. The first thing I appreciated was the quality of the meat. The cuts had good marbling and a healthy amount of fat, which made them tender, flavorful, and satisfying to eat. Wait... The reason the meat tasted great is that I have always ordered the short rib version. The fat also seemed to carry and retain some of the broth's aromatics, contributing to a richer, bolder overall flavor. The broth itself had a noticeable brightness that added complexity and helped distinguish it from the more one-dimensional pho commonly found elsewhere. My main criticism is more subjective than objective. While I enjoyed the brightness and the individual flavors present in the broth, they didn't quite come together in a fully harmonious way for me. The balance felt slightly off, though I'm admittedly nitpicking because the pho is still very good overall. Despite that minor reservation, I consider Ngon Yummy one of the better pho spots in the area. I appreciate that they have their own take on pho rather than serving a bowl that tastes like every other restaurant's version. Even though the dish didn't completely come together for me, I would gladly order it again. I will likely return whenever I'm in the area.

Decided to try this place and had a horrible experience with the owner/manager. The other wait staff seemed pretty friendly, and we ordered a beef vermicelli and bbq beef plate. The food looked pretty good, and the portions were healthy. The food itself was pretty good for the Cerritos area --- not as good as Westminster or Garden Grove but decent for around here. Our server was great and came around a few times to ask if we needed anything. Our experience completely changed when we needed a to-go box for our leftovers. We saw a male server with blonde hair and glasses approaching our table, so we made eye contact (he for sure saw us) and waved him down. He completely ignored us and went to the table next to us. We said excuse me politely and asked nicely for a to-go container. He seemed like we were simply annoying him, and he had an attitude with us from that first interaction. He then got the to-go container and rudely slammed it down on our table and stormed off. We asked our server if we could speak to the manager, and the owner/manager ended up being the rude server! We explained why were upset, and he rudely responded that he's having a bad day, as if that justifies his bad service. It's one thing if a server is being rude, but it's another when the owner/manager is treating his own customers like that. He looked young, so maybe it's his family's restaurant. Either way, it's no way to treat customers, and I will not ever be coming back.
I had lunch here with my family and it wasn't too busy. The interior is spacious and clean. Service by staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu had a wide range of Vietnamese dishes. I decided to order the grilled pork and egg roll with rice vermicelli noodles and a sparkling lychee green tea. The drink was refreshing and perfect for a warm day. The vermicelli noodles was pretty big in portion. However, the grilled pork and egg roll filling tasted a tad off for me. The rest of my family enjoyed their dishes.
I love banh xeo and on our way to bakers and barista, we saw this place and decided to eat there instead. Service was great, really nice staff. Cute interior, clean. The food was a let down, everything was underseasoned. The banh xeo was basically empty except for bean sprouts and it was really greasy and soggy. Shaking beef barely had steak in it. Really disappointing but guess it was on me that I decided to try somewhat of a more authentic vietnamese food in cerritos instead of driving down the street to GG/westminster. Wouldn't come back.
Found my new go to Vietnamese spot in Artesia. Walked in and got seated right away. Server was super nice. Gave us some recommendations Banh beo. It's a hue dish. Done very well. Fish sauce was on point. Toppings were fresh. Loved the slight crunch from shallots. Overall excellent appetizer. Vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg rolls. Portion was huge. Fresh veggies. Marinated meats was on point. Fish sauce not too sour or sweet. Just right Banh canh Udon soup. Had lots of shrimp. Shrimp balls. Huge bowl. Came out very hot. Nice fresh noodles. Very good flavor Overall great experience. Plenty of parking. Great service. Excellent food. Amazing place to support a small mom and pop shop

Noticed other Yelp reviews mention that the restaurant recently is under new ownership as of 2026, and looks like it's family-owned and family-operated FOOD -- So many options for both food and drinks! For food, we tried the pho, com bo luc lac, and banh xeo. Everything was delicious and filling. For drinks, the options include coffees, matcha, milk teas, fruit teas, and lemonades, which can include toppings like boba or jellies. Highly recommend the green Thai tea and sparkling lychee green tea SERVICE -- All the staff were friendly and attentive, and service was quick even when it seemed to get busier. We were immediately greeted and seated when arriving. It didn't seem like we had a designated server since we were kindly being checked on by all of them. Dirty dishes were bussed when necessary, water cups were refilled before running out... no complaints! AMBIANCE -- Beautiful decorations for the lunar new year. Good music playing, and it was also nice that there are a few TVs. Both booths and tables are available Great restaurant overall, especially to satisfy any cravings for Vietnamese cuisine since they offer so many different options. Looking forward to visiting again to try their other dishes
We ordered the shrimp spring rolls, pho combination, + banh canh. I was super excited to see banh canh on the menu because I havent been able to find any restaurants that serve it the Cerritos area. 4/5 - Spring rolls - these are HUGE! Definitely felt like we got our moneys worth with these. Just feel like they were missing a little bit for flavor. 4/5 - Banh Canh - the broth was a bit watery and the noodles weren't as thick and bouncy as I'd like. There was also barely any crab. 4/5 - Pho - decent! Lots of meat and the broth was sweet and flavorful. Overall, food was good, not the best I've ever had but would be really happy to return. Great service, spacious, super clean & modern atmosphere, and I'd definitely would want to come back to try other things on the menu (bun rieu, bbh, seafood, etc!)
Good enough Vietnamese food, but they just changed ownership this week. The food is not as impressive as I imagined, since my brother claims that it was his favorite Vietnamese place in Cerritos. They're reasonable and honored my gift certificate from the previous owner anyway.
This place made me happy! I have been looking for a banh xeo spot nearby and I'm so happy they finally have this spot nearby! I know my review will be based on a to go order but I will def dine in here on day! The banh xeo was great! Sadly the ratio of bean sprouts to shrimp and pork was definitely off! Bean sprouts covered it too much but the taste was great! I love tasting the coconut in the dough. The beef stew was decent. Not bad not amazing. We also enjoyed the pho....theres a few more dishes I want to Try so I'll be back!

I stopped by during lunch and had a wonderful meal and great service. I ordered the bun rieu, a tomato based seafood noodle soup, and it was delicious. There was plenty of tofu, tomatoes, cha lua (Vietnamese ham), and rieu (seafood and pork meatballs). I love the toppings in bun rieu and was very satisfied with the soup. This is also served with a plate of veggies and herbs. The staff were very attentive and service was amazing. The food came out quick. The parking was easy too. I can't wait to try other dishes. This is definitely on my list of lunch spots. read more
We were craving some viet food but GG and FV felt like too far of a drive for us, so we decided to go local. We were surprised that to find somewhere so close and we walked in. The space is relatively big and can accommodate med-sized parties. The service was pretty good! Our servers came by pretty often to make sure we had everything we needed. My mom was craving pho and our normal spot was closed that day so with the help of Yelp, I found this gem! We both ordered the pho with beef ribs in large size since it wasn't much of a price difference. The pho bowl was huge! it came with 3 large beef ribs that were so tender and fall off the bone! Pure tendernism! *throws glasses* The broth was very rich and flavorful, I didn't need to add much aside from the mints and lime. It was a lot of pho that we took the rest to go and I took the bones for my doggy! We ordered 2 rice dishes to go as well. One was a pork dish and the other was the beef lok lak. We ate it later in the day and it didn't make an impression on us, maybe it would have been different if we ate it at the restaurant. We ended going back the following week for round 2 of pho tho! I think my mom and I have found a new pho spot! We will be back for the 3rd and more lol read more

This restaurant is such a gem. Despite being very busy, the service was phenomenal and food was delicious. I highly recommend the banh mi skillet. They make their own pate! The steak was tender and the sauce was savory and well balanced. Their banh xeo was crispy and not overly oily so you don't feel gross after eating. So happy to find a great Vietnamese restaurant in Cerritos! read more

If you thought this place was great before, you'll be amazed by the new ownership that just took over your favorite local Vietnamese eatery. They have all the classics from pho, bun rieu, bun bo hue and all your rice classics. Service was phenomenal as we were greeted as soon as we entered and our server was extremely knowledgeable about their specialties. My wife got the bun rieu and I got com Chien with bo luc lac. The meat was so tender and the fried rice was just the right amount of flavor. Not to mention their drink selections were splendid. They offer coffee and other craft drinks as well. Walking in, you'll find yourself feeling like you're back at your parents house for a home cooked meal, something we all need nowadays. Please make sure to come visit and I promise this won't be your last. read more
Good food. Well seasoned. We ordered the truffle fries, pho rare steak, Scallops and the Vietnamese Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. Highlight of the meal was the beef noodle soup. Broth was uniquely sweet and savory. Food runs sweet but everything was very well seasoned. Truffle fries were just fries with Parmesan. Service was quick and attentive. Do not order to go - they didn't cook the meat at all looks nothing like the picture - no utensils when the delivery says a hotel address- how do they expect you to eat with NO utensils - my meat was RAW - supposed to be sizzling beef? - paid for extra sauce did not get that either. So if it's closing time they just don't cook your food? It's gross inedible and I'm out $40 read more
Finding delicious Vietnamese food in Cerritos is such a huge win. Finding banh xeo in Cerritos is gold. 5/5 would recommend Ngon Yummy. Staff is friendly, cute decor, restaurant is clean and spacious. All food portions are huge. Banh xeo - wonderful, perfection Pork and eggroll vermicelli - amazing flavors Garlic chicken wings - super flavorful Dragon fruit hibiscus tea with chia seeds, tangy and slightly sweet. The place is okay. Didn't like the togo containers are outside in the rolling cart which make the place not organized. I see some fruit flies flying on our table. The service is fast. The Com Ca salmon tasted good, not over cooked, it is still moist inside and the Cha Cha Tha fish is good as well. My husband didn't know how to eat and the server told different ways to eat as a wrap, or eat the fish with noodles or anyway you want to eat it. It was served fanciful. I used the restroom and it was messy. Seat cover is kind of everywhere on the floor. The customer must have done these but it is the staff's responsibility to check to maintain cleanliness. read more

Haiku: Ngon Yummy Soothing comfort foods Tons of coffee and tea drinks Generous portions. --- I was craving banh xeo, and my bff said we had to come to Ngon Yummy. The banh xeo (Vietnamese crepes) was crispy and filled with savory pork belly. I was surprised to see it came with two banh xeos! Wrapping the crispy crepes in the large leaf lettuce with mint, cilantro and thai basil and dipping them in the fish sauce was so satisfying. It hit the spot. This will be my go-to order. We also shared the Wagyu beef stew with French bread. This stew was comforting, and the meat was tender. I couldn't eat too much of it because it was on the salty side. Inside is modern and good for groups. Service was good. Next time I'd like to try some of their drinks. The Mango Kumquat, Dragonfruit Hibiscus Red Tea, and Ube Matcha Latte all intrigued me. read more

First time here and I can honestly say, I'd come back again if I were craving the Banh xeo. It was delicious. Crispy & savory with the fresh herds/veggies paired very well with their sauce. I've never had Banh canh before so I didn't know what to expect. It had a very strong crabby smell to it (I didn't mind it, just caught me off guard) there was very little amount of crab meat in the soup. But after fixing it up to my taste buds, it was overall good. Service here tonight was 5 stars. The waiters were both attentive & friendly. read more
Came back from a trip and had to have pho! We found this place because they were one of the few pho places that are open late (they close at 9 pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends). They are located towards a corner of a popular plaza. Parking is free but you may have to circle around a bit during busy times. We ordered 2 types of beef pho as well as the chicken pho. All the bowls were delicious! They also have a lot of other non noodle dishes and drinks which we plan to go back and try. Minus one star only because the food is a bit salty. This is typical of most restaurants and my husband who likes strong flavors loved it. Just note that your BP may go up if you drink the entire bowl of pho broth lol. read more

Not sure what you wanna eat? This place has a book as their menu. Since they don't specialize in any specific items, everything we ordered were just decent. My nephew enjoyed the Bo ne. He said it was not bad. There was no pate in it...sad Pho dac biet had a good amount of meats. I got a small, but it felt like it was for kids. There was very little pho. Broth was ok. The clams were not good. It was edible but very small in size. It tasted like those frozen mini clams. Not much flavor to it. We also ordered the banh xeo. At first glance, it looked really good. However, it was pretty oily. Small shrimps. Not bad, but wasn't wow. Overall, I think the place will satisfy your cravings. I'm so glad I discovered this gem! My husband and I have visited several Vietnamese restaurants in Cerritos, but this one is at the top of our list. The food is flavorful, and the drinks are sweet just how we like them. And the service is fantastic; they are friendly and offer good recommendations. We will be back! read more

Great little place in the back of the plaza...Ordered a large chicken pho with egg noodles- yes they have egg noodles! It was delicious and came out super hot service was fast and friendly. Also got the sparkling lychee green tea- very tasty. Will be back again - thanks Ngon Yummy! read more
Came here for a late lunch, around 1:30pm. We were greeted and seated right away after entering. There were about 6 other parties already dining. After a few minutes we got water. Another 5 minutes and we ordered. Got plain fries and white rice for my picky child. Both got a thumbs up from the daughter. Good portions for both items. Had enough to take home to make another meal for her dinner. My husband got the rib pho. He dressed it up with the red chilis in the container on the table. He added his jalapeños, herbs and sprouts. He said this was the best pho he's had around the Cerritos/Artesia area. He also had the eggrolls and said those were good also. Had a good crunch and wasn't oily. I got the Banh Xeo and Bo Ne. I got 2 items not realizing the Banh Xeo came in 2s. The Banh Xeo just hit so good when I was eating it. It was crispy and the protein was just right. Used the lettuce, they provided, to make my wraps and ate it all up. Will definitely get this again!!! The Bo Ne was good also. Wished it had more flavor, but the Banh Xeo made up for it. Overall, I enjoyed the food and will definitely come back. This might be our new got to Vietnamese spot. Staff was nice and friendly. read more

Ngon Yummy = Happy Tummy!! The name Ngon Yummy couldn't be more fitting, this place truly lives up to it. I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants, but this one stands out with some of the most delicious, fresh, and authentic flavors I've ever had. My go-to is usually is the Short Rib Pho, which never disappoints. But today, I decided to switch things up--and wow, I found my new favorite: the Grilled Pork Chop with rice. The pork was incredibly juicy (not dry like at some other spots), packed with flavor, and perfectly cooked. Even the rice had a subtle, special taste that made the whole dish shine. If you love Vietnamese food, Ngon Yummy is an absolute must. Five stars for my taste buds! The service is warm and attentive, and the ambiance adds to the overall great dining experience. read more

Continuing eating my way thru My City of Cerritos- I pulled up to Ngon Yummy! Come visit this awesome spot. South Street and Pioneer. Sunday night - take out- hot and fresh I ordered Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls - peanut sauce is delish - Crispy Fried Tofu - dipping sauces amazing - Pho Boneless short rib and Shaken beef with Rice. My order was brought to me quickly to go - with a smile - they have a busy but calm modern atmosphere. I asked for additional hot sauce and my server didn't blink an eye and brought me 3 !! Modernized Vietnamese Pho restaurant. Came here on Mother's Day and other places were packed and we were seated right away here. The old timers would remember there used to be a different pho restaurant before this one. And there is another pho restaurant behind the Filipino seafood ranch supermarket in the same shopping plaza. We're glad we came here for it seems to have more choices on the menu. We loved the truffle fries. The chicken curry was somewhat flat and would not order again. The beef bone pho looked so appetizing and it's acceptable. The charbroiled mussels were delicious but little burned. Nice seating areas. Will come back again. read more
I picked a combination pho Togo. Small size It was almost $18 with tax. The portion was super small. I am very disappointed that I only got a few pieces of meats and a small portion of noodle. The portion was 75% less than what I would usually get at any other pho locations in this area. I posted a pic of all the meats that came in the bowl.
