Our family had an early Saturday dinner at Thai Delight today and left very impressed. We were honestly surprised by how good everything was. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were very generous, and we even had leftovers to take home. The service was friendly, welcoming, and prompt throughout our meal, which made the experience even more enjoyable. And don't skip the mango sticky rice. The serving was huge and it was one of the best we've had. Check out the photos I posted of the dishes we ordered. They look every bit as scrumptious as they tasted. We visited on a Monday afternoon. We just missed the lunch special from 11-3 pm. This place is in a strip mall with free parking. We ordered the pad see ew and drunken noodles. You can specify what kind of spice level you want for the drunken noodles. Both dishes included barbecue chicken. They were both very tasty. The service was great. You order at the table. It wasn't busy when we went. There are plenty of tables inside. They just opened like 6 months ago. I would definitely return. read more

First stop for Artesia Restaurant Week was Thai Delight on Pioneer, taking over the former Marlin's spot -- and while Marlin's will definitely be missed, it's nice to have another Thai option right here in the city. Walking in, my first thought was how familiar everything felt. You can tell it used to be the Mexican restaurant -- some of the original decor is still there, including the wall art and little clay pot pieces. It's kind of an interesting mix. The biggest change is the bright pink flower wall, which definitely gives it a fresh new vibe. The space itself is small and quaint, and it was nice to see several tables already filled -- always a good sign. We ordered the papaya salad and larb, both were absolutely delicious. I originally wanted to try the papaya salad with soft shell crab from the chef's specials, but they were out that day -- still, the regular version did not disappoint at all. Ordered take-out from here and got a tom yum soup, papaya salad, and the daily drunken noodle special. Loved the tom yum soup and papaya salad but the noodles were bland. It was topped with a bbq chicken skewer but there was no meat in the noodles itself. There were some sautéed bell peppers and onions but the noodles were not that great. If you want to eat at a chill place and not be bothered, this is the restaurant for you. Staff are respectful and friendly. They aren't constantly coming up to you in desperation for a tip. The food was good. Serving size was the right amount. I got the pad thai. The only thing I'd like to change is if I could add a protein even if it's for an extra charge that is ok. Saw a new thai spot open in town so had to try it. Located in a quiet small plaza so parking was easy. Ordered their thai ice tea, cream cheese wontons, all day special with pad thai, egg roll, & 2 chicken skewers, and their yellow curry with chicken. It came with rice and we ordered 1 extra side of rice. The pad thai was on the sweeter end if you prefer that. The bbq chicken skewers were nice and juicy. The yellow curry was pretty good as well. Spent around $50 for everything so not bad. Service was friendly. Would come back to try other dishes. read more

We decided to try Thai Delight, a newer restaurant, and ordered for pickup. The restaurant is a bit on the smaller side and the ambiance is somewhat dark but works. The staff also was friendly. Unfortunately the food is not good - every dish we had was extremely oily, and of ok or poor quality. The eggplant entree was the standout but it's standard compare to any other Thai restaurant. Avoid completely the Roti appetizer. If this was the only Thai restaurant in the area it would be manageable; but against so many other choices in the area it doesn't hold up at all. read more

My cousin and I met here for a bday lunch celebration. I got the all day special with pad thai. It was yummy! The lady who tended to us was very nice. The decor was cute inside. Overall, the place looks well kept. My cousin and I stayed there for a very long time because we were catching up with what's been happening with each other's life, and they did not nudge us to leave. The only downfall is parking was very limited at the time we arrived (around 1215 pm on Saturday), but if you go there at the right time (mid-afternoon) you will not have any issues finding a parking spot. read more

Loved the eggplant, best one we've had in awhile and the All Day Special is a great value that I ordered just to try their pad Thai because I've been disappointed many times. This one did not! Great flavor and not overly sweet or ketchupy like some places. The satay was juicy with great flavor and the egg roll was hot and crisp. Will be back soon! Only caveat, lots of businesses for a small parking lot but there were a couple spaces. We've been doing take out from Thai Delight 4X now and we've enjoyed everything we've ordered (Pop corn chicken, Spicy Beef Pepper Steak medium spice, Pad Thai w/shrimp, Rad Nah w/shrimp, Pad See Ew, Crying Tiger salad....next will be the Rib Eye Thai Fried Rice). The people (owner?) at the counter are very nice and friendly, and the restaurant has good ambiance and is clean. The prices are very reasonable and they also offer lunch specials and an "all day specials" menu. Now, I have been to the long-time Thai place on 183rd which shall remain nameless, and I'd been there 30 years ago and now began going there in 2024 and it seems nothing has changed, servers still not friendly and hubby has ordered chicken twice and both times, they were pink in the middle. The other Thai place in Cerritos which has "Sweetie" in its name, you know the one, well I like their menu but servers are not friendly there either. I'd rather give my $$$ to the Mom&Pop Thai Delight, they know how to treat people well and their food is much better than the two aforementioned. read more
