AI is taking over Cerritos! With 2 automated AI machines which cook & self-clean, Urban Feast occupies the old Vegi Wokery location. When I saw they were having their Soft Opening, I knew I had to check them out. A bright modern interior is inviting for guests to come visit this fast casual eatery. The food created by the AI machines is not as greasy as a typical Chinese restaurant. I found the orange peel chicken to be crunchy & satisfying. The Hunan spicy beef had tender cuts of beef with a substaintial amount of heat. The sweet tomato & scrambled eggs provided good flavor, with eggs that aren't overcooked. For dessert, the boba milk tea quenches the thirst on a hot day. Made w/o powders or syrup, Urban Feast sells only quality boba milk tea. Service has been great. Food is kept warm in chafing trays, or can be made to order. The cute to-go containers are reusable, and I find them handy for more than just storing food. Parking is at Plaza 183, with Urban Fest located on the right of Original Thai BBQ, north of Kusina Filipina. Urban Feast is a wonderful new food option in Cerritos. Less greasy Chinese food, made by AI machines, competitively priced, with no tipping, are what greet guests who come visit. We've dined in several times, already, and anxiously look forward to our next visit.

New fast casual modern Chinese spot recently opened in Cerritos. They have a good variety of options including both more Americanized Chinese food and some more traditional dishes. I really appreciated that they had Garlic Eggplant and Green Beans, Sweet Tomato and Scrambled Eggs, and Mapo Tofu dishes. They were all really tasty! The Mapo Tofu had some mala spice, but it wasn't too spicy. I also wanted to try the Orange Chicken, and this was pretty good as well! We also ordered a side of Egg Fried Rice, which was pretty standard but goes great with all of the flavorful dishes. You order and pay at the counter. When your food is ready, you pick up your tray from the counter and find a seat. Utensils, sauces, and fountain drinks are self-serve. The portion sizes are not bad, but it's a little deceiving because they put a smaller bowl into the larger logo bowl for the entrees. They pretty much fill up a large bowl for the rice and noodles. Once you're finished seating, you bus your own tables. Place your tray in the tray shelf and toss your trash. Make sure you don't accidentally throw away the bowls!

Saw this spot after picking up dinner at Thai Original Bbq. They currently have a soft opening. We decided to try their drinks. Limited drink menu, but surprisingly they were really good! As I was telling my order to the cashier, a lady (maybe the restaurant owner) was standing next to the cashier, heard the order & immediately went to the kitchen and started making the drinks. Service was quick. Drinks were freshly made. That passion fruit jasmine green tea was reaalllyy good! There was even passion fruit seeds inside the drink. Very refreshing. No one else was dining inside. Tables were clean. Some tables had flowers on them. It looks like it's a fast food Chinese restaurant. We will have to try their food next time.

Omg!! So easy and delicious! I sometimes need a quick lunch but don't want fast food. This is it! I love Chinese food and this is the same quality as a nice Chinese place. Got spicy pork and it was super good with that tongue tingling spiciness. Yum! I didn't have high expectations from the passion fruit tea as it wasn't a dedicated tea place but I was pleasantly surprised. Will be back many more times! Plus the guy at the counter was very nice. This place is great.

Ordered a bunch of items! First time here and was excited to try. We ordered the following: Beef and broccoli Mapu tofu Soup dumpling Orange chicken Eggplant w green beans Fried rice Egg and tomato Chow mein Everything was a winner except for the orange chicken, which was too hard on the outside and didn't have enough sauce, and the soup dumplings, which were very firm and chewy. Neither were really bad though, totally edible, and everything else was delicious. I especially loved the tofu. The beef and broccoli had really good quality beef, very tender. The chow mein noodles had fresh veggies. Everything was cooked really nicely recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across Urban Feast during their soft opening. This is a modern, healthy take on prepared, Chinese "fast food". The store was clean, bright, and welcoming. The chef seemed passionate about the food as he was talking to another customer. The staff person who helped me was friendly, warm, and customer service oriented. We wanted to wait for a fresh batch of the eggplant dish which was empty, and he kept is informed during our wait. Super fresh food, authentic, well seasoned, not too salty or oily. Great options. About 4 vegan dishes, additional vegetarian option if you count the fried rice (has eggs). Love the premise of the restaurant: convenient, healthy dishes, small portions that are adequate and very fairly priced, allowing you to try many different dishes. Also, prevents waste. Leftover food doesn't usually taste as good; but they have cute blue to go containers if you need. They also offer free house made pickled radish - super refreshing, crunchy, and a perfect balance of savory, sweet, sour, and heat! I also ordered a passion fruit iced tea. It was well made, real passion fruit seeds, and not overly sweet (no adjustment). I'll definitely be coming back here again. :)

3/7/26 Newly opened Chinese food place in Cerritos, on its soft opening phase, give them some love & try what they have to offer. Staff are friendly & welcoming. Rita was all smiles & enticed me to go in try free samples. Tasted the tofu. Kung Pao chicken & orange peel chicken--all delicious. Loved the crunch & fresh taste of the orange peel chicken. They have combos & a la carte items. You may choose from the already cooked foods or have it freshly cooked upon request. Dine- in or to go offered. Additionally, there's milk tea/boba drinks & self-serve fountain drinks like soda pop. It is bright, modern & airy, only indoor seating, new furnishings. Parking is shared among businesses & could be challenging during peak hours. This shop shares the same plaza with The Original Thai Bbq, DQ Ice Cream & Kusina Filipina. Portions are just right. Tasty, fresh & good selection. Give them a try.

This is the next generation of Chinese fast food. From presentation to serving. They offer traditional authentic taste. Not greasy nor salty. Reasonable price for huge serving. Unlimited condiments. Tasteful drinks with boba. Fast service and friendly staff. Very clean space and serene atmosphere to dine in. Plenty of parking. Now my favorite.

All for only $18 (August 2026)

Amazing spot! Fresh, healthier Chinese food at a super low cost. The food was great and I loved the passion fruit tea as well. Plenty of seating and very clean inside. There's also a restroom inside. A hidden gem!

I came in to stop by for a drink and the boba was delicious! Only "con" is that you currently can't change milk options so it's dairy for all my lactose people out there. Regardless it was very delicious. The place itself is very clean and the service was nice/fast.

The service was great and they were helpful with explaining everything and even provided samples. Their food isn't super oily or salty or greasy which is nice. We ended up buying 2 à la cart entrees and 3 boba drinks for around $25. What's good Is that one entree could be made into 2 meals if you have some rice or bread at home. I also like their motto of offering value costs for the food. Their combos at around $11-12 also come with a decent amount of food. It's comparable (maybe a little cheaper) to fast food but you'll be getting something home made, fresh and tasty.

Food is amazing! Fresh and seasoned so good. My favorite part, their vegetarian options are unmatched compared to other Chinese spots. Beef broccoli , orange chicken, fried rice, noodles, dumplings, spicy beef , the fam love it allll. My go to was Spicy tofu, green beans and eggplant, egg and tomatoes! Servings sizes are very good, we all shared to try it all. I'm picky with boba drinks and their brown sugar milk tea with boba was sooooo good! I sipped it the whole time so i wouldn't get full with it being so good! I can't wait to go again and bring more family to try this spot. The prices are super affordable too.! The place is clean and service was great!

It is my first time here but saw yelp n just ordered what looked appetizing--Garlic Shrimp Egg Noodle (fried not noodle soup) The dish came with a soup on the side and the entree, which included 3 slices of pineapple probably to wash away the garlic after eating. The noodles were clumps together and tasted a bit raw/flour-y. That wasn't too bad, but would've liked it without that taste. The shrimp tasted ok...there were a good portion. The garlic...honestly this was something I didnt like as i knew this flavor...its either raw garlic that is passed due and has those clear parts and a bit sour or those preserved garlic in citeic acid, but tasted as if it were left out. Like a wet dish rag smell. I know this as i've used large bag of garlic from Costco that became this as I didnt use by the best buy or that it had fridge burns that cause the bruising and when I used it my dishes, it tasted lik this. This flavor ruined the dish and I didnt eat it all and took home thinking I can pick out the garlic pieces and just eat the rest. This took off 2 stars. Service was ok, altho I only ordered, food came, and asked for check, so didnt need much service. I added a Khrak Cambodian iced coffee at the end to take home... this was ok too. Just Cambo version of a Vietnamese Coffee. This here was a little darker coffee flavor I felt and less sugar (which is good for me). Im not sure I'll come back, not because of the food or rating, but because there are plenty of places to go for lunch and chose this place for today. Thank you.

Updated Review: Disappointing Experience…read more I'm updating my previous review because our most recent visit unfortunately changed my overall impression of this place. I've always liked this spot as a late-night eatery, and the food itself is still good, the broth is flavorful, and the noodles and other dishes have generally been enjoyable. That's why I was especially disappointed by how our most recent visit was handled. We arrived around midnight and put our name on the waitlist. There were a few parties ahead of us, and around 12:30 AM, the host came out and explained that at that point, seating was no longer guaranteed, despite the restaurant being scheduled to close at 1:30 AM. We decided to continue waiting and were eventually seated around 1:00 AM. We ordered immediately, and our food came out shortly afterward around 1:15 AM. At exactly 1:30 AM, while we were still finishing our meal, our server came over and said that they were closing and asked if we wanted boxes for the remaining food. Technically, it was phrased as a reminder and an offer to provide boxes for our food, but the implication was very clear: we needed to leave. That was what made the situation particularly uncomfortable. We completely understood that the restaurant was closing and had no intention of staying past closing to socialize or linger. We were literally still eating the food we had just ordered around 1:15 AM. We had only been seated for about 30 minutes, ordered immediately, and were already nearly finished when the server approached us. We had also already paid our bill. The timing just left an awkward feeling. If the restaurant closes at 1:30 AM and customers who are seated close to closing are expected to be completely finished and out by that time, I think that should be communicated before seating them. It would have allowed us to decide whether waiting until 1:00 AM was worthwhile. I also understand that employees need to finish their shifts and close the restaurant on time, and I respect that. My issue is more with the overall communication and the way the situation was handled. Being seated at 1:00 AM, ordering immediately, receiving our food around 1:15 AM, and then essentially being told at 1:30 AM that it was time to leave made the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. This isn't a review based on the food, the food is still good. It's about the overall experience and customer service during this particular visit. Unfortunately, what should have been a nice late night meal ended with an awkward feeling that stayed with us after we left. Because of this experience, I can no longer give this location the five stars I previously gave it. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback, because I do think the situation could have been handled much more smoothly and with clearer communication upfront.

I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Staff: All of the staff members were quick and friendly Ambiance: Indoor seating only. A good amount of parking in the parking lot that is shared with other shops in the plaza.

At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the overall experience was better than I anticipated. The seasoning was a little strong, and some dishes had a fairly familiar, standardized taste. Nothing was bad, and everything was prepared well, but I do feel a little disappointed when the authentic flavors of traditional Chinese food become less noticeable. There were four of us, and we ordered about eight or nine of their most popular dishes. My parents really enjoyed the food. I have worked in China before, so I may be a little more sensitive and particular when it comes to Chinese food. Overall, the restaurant has good reviews, the prices are reasonable, and it was a pretty good dining experience.

The flavors are delicious! While there are a ton of places like this popping up all over LA and OC, I really like to come here before a grocery run or just cause. It's a no frills place that is all about the food but service is helpful if you have any questions. Their menu is huge but I always order their liang pi, cold noodles with chili sauce and bean sprouts, which is refreshing with a zing of heat. Pair this with some dishes from their cold bar and that is a top tier meal in my book. Their cold bar selection has a lot to choose from so it never hurts to order a little extra and take it home to spruce up another meal for later. I'm not a big dumpling person but I've heard some folks really enjoy their boiled ones with chili oil drizzled on top. Not for me, but give it a whirl if you're a dumpling fan! I think it's a great casual spot for take out or a quick bite.

Bafang Dumpling has a new menu item: the Mala Dry Beef Noodle, and it's definitely worth trying…read more The spice level is actually quite mild, but it still delivers that distinctive mala aroma and numbing peppercorn flavor. If you've been curious about mala but are worried about the heat, this is a great place to start. The beef is tender, the noodles are perfectly chewy and coated in the flavorful sauce, and the crunchy julienned cucumber adds a refreshing contrast that balances the rich, full-bodied dish. As always, the service is quick and efficient, and the staff at this location are incredibly sweet and friendly, making every visit a pleasant experience.

Yummy Potstickers and Dumplings!…read more I got the 12 Signature Potstickers, 12 Signature Dumplings, and 2 Corn Chowders. Both the Signature Potstickers and Signature Dumplings have the same filling so I'm assuming it's the same if you were to order the Kimchi version. The Signature filling has a good amount of meat and veggies. I prefer the Potstickers because I found the crunchy texture better suited with the filling. The Corn Chowder was okay, it had corn and pork in it. It was simple so there wasn't anything bad or good about it. The employees are very kind and helpful! I asked the employee in the front if he preferred the Signature or Kimchi, and he told me he recommended the Signature first to try it out. I am now interested in trying out the Kimchi version too. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. There is seating indoor and outdoors, there are water cups near the register, and a sauce station on the left side of the counter. There's Sesame Oil, Black Vinegar, Garlic Sauce, and Soy Sauce. I prefer Garlic Sauce the best! The restaurant also gets pretty cold so maybe bring a light jacket. When I went to the restaurant, there was only one person in line ahead of me, and most people seem to order take out. I would come here again to try out the noodles and the Kimchi potstickers!!
