The service was great and they were helpful with explaining everything and even provided samples. Their food isn't super oily or salty or greasy which is nice. We ended up buying 2 à la cart entrees and 3 boba drinks for around $25. What's good Is that one entree could be made into 2 meals if you have some rice or bread at home. I also like their motto of offering value costs for the food. Their combos at around $11-12 also come with a decent amount of food. It's comparable (maybe a little cheaper) to fast food but you'll be getting something home made, fresh and tasty.

I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across Urban Feast during their soft opening. This is a modern, healthy take on prepared, Chinese "fast food". The store was clean, bright, and welcoming. The chef seemed passionate about the food as he was talking to another customer. The staff person who helped me was friendly, warm, and customer service oriented. We wanted to wait for a fresh batch of the eggplant dish which was empty, and he kept is informed during our wait. Super fresh food, authentic, well seasoned, not too salty or oily. Great options. About 4 vegan dishes, additional vegetarian option if you count the fried rice (has eggs). Love the premise of the restaurant: convenient, healthy dishes, small portions that are adequate and very fairly priced, allowing you to try many different dishes. Also, prevents waste. Leftover food doesn't usually taste as good; but they have cute blue to go containers if you need. They also offer free house made pickled radish - super refreshing, crunchy, and a perfect balance of savory, sweet, sour, and heat! I also ordered a passion fruit iced tea. It was well made, real passion fruit seeds, and not overly sweet (no adjustment). I'll definitely be coming back here again. :)

3/7/26 Newly opened Chinese food place in Cerritos, on its soft opening phase, give them some love & try what they have to offer. Staff are friendly & welcoming. Rita was all smiles & enticed me to go in try free samples. Tasted the tofu. Kung Pao chicken & orange peel chicken--all delicious. Loved the crunch & fresh taste of the orange peel chicken. They have combos & a la carte items. You may choose from the already cooked foods or have it freshly cooked upon request. Dine- in or to go offered. Additionally, there's milk tea/boba drinks & self-serve fountain drinks like soda pop. It is bright, modern & airy, only indoor seating, new furnishings. Parking is shared among businesses & could be challenging during peak hours. This shop shares the same plaza with The Original Thai Bbq, DQ Ice Cream & Kusina Filipina. Portions are just right. Tasty, fresh & good selection. Give them a try.

Picked up from this place 3 times now and every time it's been fresh and delicious. It's like 10 steps up from your typical fast food spots. Has a nice homemade feel, like something my mom would make and pack for me to take home. Everything I've tried has been really good, and I've pretty much gone through most of the dishes. My favorite so far is the tomato scrambled egg. They're still in soft opening, so I'm hoping they add more items later. Oh, and the prices are super reasonable.

They're currently doing their soft opening now. Parking is easy in this plaza but the lines are a little faded. We spent about $40ish for three people so it is affordable in this economy. The food was good too, but man there should be a VERY SPICY warning on the hunan beef dish cause it had me sweating! Not a fan of the plastic packaging because it feels very wasteful. If you dine in, there's actually bowls so next time we will try doing dine in. We got chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, eggplant with string beans, broccoli, hunan beef. Other dishes I was interested in were tomato and egg, mapo tofu, and Kung pao chicken. Hopefully when they're past their soft opening they will have more dishes. Would be nice if there was some cold dishes to pick out too.

The Friendliness of the staff. The Clean and Cute dining area plus the variety and freshness of the food! I like that it's near my place of work and I can just pull over and get my boba drink.

Urban Feast is soooo yummy!!! Food is fresh, and plenty flavorful! It's a new spot in the block, but it instantly reminded me of Tigawok which is super exciting to have something, perhaps tastier, and local. Like Tigawok, portion sizes and prices are very nice and economical. Absolutely loved all 3 bowls I tried and will be eager to return to try the other items (and especially more Mapo Tofu)! Highly Recommend, don't hesitate and give this place a try! :) Note: I did takeout, and I went in around the time they opened for the day and not every dish was readily available to serve with a 5-15 minute wait. Which I take as a good sign since you know the food isn't sitting out all day.

Stopped by early evening on a Saturday with my family and it wasn't packed at all. We were intrigued by the soft opening deal! Parking in the plaza it's located at could get tricky on a busy day/weekend, but we got lucky. The service was chinese takeout style, but they handed you the food you ordered in plastic bowls if you choose to dine-in, which is what we did. We ordered the Orange Chicken combo (came with steamed rice, garlic broccoli, and a fountain drink for $12.99), alongside Chow Mein, Scrambled Eggs & Tomato, Egg Fried Rice, and Steamed Pork Dumplings. In total, we paid around $48 with tip-- because of the soft opening we also got 3 milk teas for $0.99 and only paid $1.50 to add boba to all drinks. A thai tea with boba was only $3.99, which is something I don't see often anymore. A ridiculously great price!! Everything was delicious too :) I would also like to note that the combo portions are ideal for 1-2 people and we were a party of 4, but since we weren't extremely hungry everything was perfectly balanced. Other details I'd like to point out: Plenty of seating, simple/aesthetic decor, everything was clean, very friendly and patient workers!! Such a great find, I can definitely see myself coming back when I'm in need of a cheap but hearty meal. I would definitely recommend!!

First time coming here. Staff here are friendly. The interior is clean and modern. Came here to try there Brown Sugar Milk Tea! It's delicious and the Boba is really soft. Will definitely come back here!

Don't forget to get the homemade radish pickles by the condiments!

Obsessed. Went 2 days in a row. Prices are AMAZING. Portions are perfect in their adorable packaging. Everything is fresh, not greasy, nor overly laden with sodium or cornstarch. Got the broccoli & orange chicken combo + boba, the first day. Broccoli was so delicious, even my extremely picky eater friend who refuses to eat vegetables, enjoyed it. Orange Chicken wasn't overly breaded & had a delightful crunch. Owners were attentive & gave me a sample of the mapo tofu, which was flavorful & not spicy. Asked for the boba milk tea less sweet & they truly delivered on my "not too sweet" request- boba had the perfect chew. Soft opening boba deal! $0.99!! 2nd day, tried the Hunan Spicy PorkEggplant with String Beans, and Mapo Tofu. Hunan Spicy Pork has a kick to it- goes great with rice. $3.99-$7 a dish is amazing in this inflation + shrinkflation economy. Highly recommend dropping by when one is by Cerritos Mall area.

    Dishes are fresh and tasty.

This is a newly opened Chinese restaurant. There are about a dozen home style cooked dishes. This unique place use robot cooking so the dishes are always consistent in quality. Unlike other Chinese food, their dishes are not oily or salty. The black sugar Boba is a must try. I was surprised by the price that I haven't seen since 2015. I think they really know the Walmart Roll Back model. Highly recommend.

This is perfect for me since I prefer smaller portions. The price is great and I'm more inclined to get a variety of dishes. I came right at opening so they didn't have everything which is fine since I was eyeing the mapo tofu. The bowls are so cute!! I will have to come back to try their other items but so far I am happy that they are here. Wishing them all the success.

Absolutely delicious! The quality of the food is sooo worth the wait as they cook small portions versus typical places where the food sits out. The service is excellent & they're so sweet plus attentive. The restaurant is clean and provides a nice lighted atmosphere! I have found a new fav local place to add to my weekly meals.

I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

I've enjoyed Changan's inexpensive lunch specials plenty of times, and was curious how Yummy Noodle Kitchen's compares. Sichuan Beef Lunch Special (medium heat)- A tad salty, and I have a solid tolerance to salt. Although, perhaps requesting medium heat meant adding extra fermented chili bean paste, thus a bit too salty. The Sichuan Beef Lunch Special had a fair amount of beef, and a heaping portion of onions. $9.99 is a reasonable price for the amount of food given, and provided a satisfying hot meal. The cashier was friendly & helpful with recommendations. Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a fast casual eatery, located inside 99 Ranch Market. Seating is shared with the in-house to go cafeteria. For $9.99, Yummy Noodle Kitchen is a solid food option. How does it compare with the former tenant? From my recollection, Changan Kitchen had more generous portions, including more rice. Yummy Noodle Kitchen's lunch specials are paired with a small bowl of rice. However, it's been a year or two since Changan Kitchen was open, and prices have skyrocketed to egregious levels, for many things. The pork chop with braised beef belly rice is truly the best of both worlds -- crispy, golden pork chop layered over fluffy steamed rice that's soaked in the rich, buttery-savory goodness of braised pork belly. Quick, satisfying, and worth the stop every time.
