Came on a Tuesday around 6pm for dinner. It wasn't busy inside, and we got our food within 5 minutes. The beef noodle soup was delicious, and so were the kimchi potstickers; but for some reason, the signature potstickers tasted a little off, compared to the ones I had at the Irvine and Santa Clara location. There is plenty of seating inside and the interior is pretty clean. Lots of parking since it's in a mall complex.
It's next to Chipotle's by the mall. Order at the counter and they have sauces. You receive a beeper when the order is ready and the Server brings it to the table. Pretty clean place Workers were friendly. They also have frozen dumplings you can buy to take home.
We just had the Van Nuys location and since we were at Cerritos mall we wanted to try it again! This location has free drink with the pork chop braised rice bowl. Again quite delicious! The place was spacious and had clean restrooms. We came at 1030a so it was still pretty empty but this mall is quite busy for the holidays.
This place is not bad. Dumpling fast food restaurant. They had Pepsi products and I'm not a huge fan of Pepsi. After ordering, they give you a number to sit down. We ordered the pork chop set and that came with a free drink. The pork chop is really tasty and crispy. The signature noodle is a bit mala, but is tasty. We also got the signature potstickers. They weren't that crispy, but still pretty tasty. I love the noodles, but they don't taste as good if you take it to go. It's a bit hard to go to as it's in the outside of the mall. There's no way to go from the mall straight out.
**August 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit** My friend and I were in Cerritos and with a vibrant Asian community we decided to enjoy some Taiwanese food. The reviews looked promising and parking was abundant. Bafang Dumpling is located in a mall so there was plenty of parking. When you enter the establishment you'll see a very minimalist ambiance. It's also very clean and spacious. The price point is moderate and you pick up your order at the counter after your electronic number beeps. I tried the following -Old Fashion Noodles (4/5): The noodles have a nice chew and the sauce has good saltiness to it. It's a dry noodle, and the portion is very fair. -Order of 6 Potstickers (3/5): The potstickers are mid. Flavorwise they're acceptable, however, I feel like the filling is pretty sparse and it's kind of lost in the skin -Order of 6 Signature Dumplings (5/5): These are fantastic! The skin has a nice chew to it and there's plenty of filling that's very juicy. I would definitely order this again. Homemade dumplings are very time consuming, but if I'm feeling in the mood for 'em and was in the area I'd be open to come here. The signature dumplings are delicious!
I want to give them five stars. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly. My only complaint was that the tray they bring my food out was super sticky and not cleaned. So sticky even when I finished my meal the sauce containers still stuck to the tray. If they can do a good job cleaning the tray I would happy to give a 5 stars. Place was bright and spacious.
Would give more stars But the taste is inconsistent Went twice in a week for their famous pork chop bowl Early evening the portion and taste were wonderful. Next time went after 8pm and felt like the portion was skimpy and the flavor was lacking. Maybe because I had the bowl made to go.
Delicious Taiwanese beef noodles and signature potstickers, prompt service, and casual and comfortable seating. Always a good pick for a quick bite that satisfies my stomach!
This is what Panda Express wishes it was. Super straightforward menu, sauce bar there with about 5 different options. The signature dumplings were long and tasty, the dan dan noodles (signature) might be a new flavor for you if you haven't had them before. Best eaten hot, lots of peanut in the sauce. Quick service. Chipotle nextdoor.
I've tried bafang before and I liked it but never to this location. I came here for lunch and ordered the Taiwanese beef noodles to try something different. The broth and noodles were good but the beef was not tender. It was quite expensive for fast food, I had better noodles at Mian or Northern Cafe down the street.
Love the dumpling soup here. Combo deals have pretty good pricing. Beef noodle soup also tastes authentic. Minus one star for pricing, it's on the pricier side. I always come here for a quick meal when I'm craving authentic home tasting Chinese food that reminds me of my parents cooking
Just spotted this place as it has been a minute since I visited this side of the mall and saw Bafang Dumplings. I was in the mood for some noodles and dumplings, and boy did this place hit the spot. The moment you walk in, you are greeted and shown a very impressive menu filled with dumplings, noodles, and more. The restaurant was a bit cold, but that's besides the point. The potstickers were delicious and well made. The spicy beef noodles were excellent and very filling.
Food - I ordered the #5 which included the dumplings + a soup. I ordered the hot and sour soup which was honestly extremely flavorful. It was rich yet not too heavy, and the quality was pretty good for a fast food style restaurant. The dumplings were also soft and not soggy, the inside could've used a little more flavoring but nothing to complain about. Overall for the price point it's well worth your money, just don't expect anything extraordinary. Service - I mean you order your food and sit down there isn't really any "service". Ambiance - exactly what you would expect for this style restaurant. Was fairly well kept.
Bafang Dumpling has a new menu item: the Mala Dry Beef Noodle, and it's definitely worth trying. Yummy Potstickers and Dumplings! I got the 12 Signature Potstickers, 12 Signature Dumplings, and 2 Corn Chowders. Both the Signature Potstickers and Signature Dumplings have the same filling so I'm assuming it's the same if you were to order the Kimchi version. The Signature filling has a good amount of meat and veggies. I prefer the Potstickers because I found the crunchy texture better suited with the filling. The Corn Chowder was okay, it had corn and pork in it. It was simple so there wasn't anything bad or good about it. The employees are very kind and helpful! I asked the employee in the front if he preferred the Signature or Kimchi, and he told me he recommended the Signature first to try it out. I am now interested in trying out the Kimchi version too. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. There is seating indoor and outdoors, there are water cups near the register, and a sauce station on the left side of the counter. There's Sesame Oil, Black Vinegar, Garlic Sauce, and Soy Sauce. I prefer Garlic Sauce the best! The restaurant also gets pretty cold so maybe bring a light jacket. When I went to the restaurant, there was only one person in line ahead of me, and most people seem to order take out. I would come here again to try out the noodles and the Kimchi potstickers!! read more

I want to give them five stars. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly. My only complaint was that the tray they bring my food out was super sticky and not cleaned. TBH i found this by accident, wasnt looking for dump a lumps, didnt even know of this chain of dumplings. Very surprised to find a place serving dumplings & potstickers. This is like comfort food for us - Wake up miss your moms cooking, boil water, throw in frozen dumps, 6-12 min later tadaaa a meal. In an age where going out to eat is like $18-40 for any meal, $6.50 for 6 dumplings/potstickers or like $13 for 12 is a freaking steal. The combo options are looking pretty nice too 12dumps & a hot sour soup for like $13-15? Full meal. Sauces you ratio blend on your own. Theres no guide so I think if youre a first timer for dump a lumps (boiled or pan fried) youd be lost. At least DTF they give u their recommended blend (ginger + soy vinegar). Personally I hate vinegar (yet i love hot and sour soup) so i tried blending 1/2soy 1/4garlic 1/8hotsauce 1/8vinegar. And as a backup i also made a 3/4soy 1/8vinegar 1/8hotsauce. I think i liked the garlic one more. The dumplings are filling. I dip, bit off half, then dip again so the inside gets sauced too. Taste is hmmkay, its not DTF level mouthgasmplosion, buttt its solid food. Not a super fan of the thicker skin, while it makes it like pillowyer i just prefer thin skin to get to the juicy meatveg center. Dine in served on these sticky greasy trays. Lots of spacious seating and i like the window bar & those seats, but inside was suppper freezing cold. Theres a "patio" area with like 5 small tables. Id come back to try the beef noodle soup esp if its taiwanese style. Theres not enough of those places around. Theres prepacked lunch "boxes" which is cool. Frozen dumplings to go which are reasonably priced, but i didnt have a cooler with me. Parking is shared with the Cerritos Mall. Easiest access is east of the Southeast corner of the center between Chase Bank and Macys-Chipotle corner. The difficulty in finding an Allergen sheet was insane. I wanted to check what was in the "Signature" because its not obvious and the ingredients werent listed anywhere. Dumplings are usually pork cabbage or pork chives or shrimp something etc and I have a shrimp allergy so I dont really wanna X cuz i ordered it blind. Their website - nothing. Yelp - nothing. Google - nothing. Anyhoo "Signature" is pork cabbage. read more

My brother and I decided to check this place out as we were craving dumplings, and it definitely hit the spot. The food was yummy and shareable. We came here on a rainy day and while it wasn't so busy, it did take a while to prepare. The place has plenty of space and located on the same strip as the mall, so I'd imagine it gets quite busy. I will definitely come again to fulfill some cravings. read more
This place really hits the spot when I'm craving Taiwanese food! LOVE their signature noodles - so peanuty and saucy and delicious! Also love their marinated cucumbers that come with their porkchop but wish they would give more than just 2 pieces. My favorite potsticker flavor is the corn & chicken. The porkchop and beef noodle soup are solid, but not something that I would crave. The signature noodles though - definitely crave that every so often! read more

Never left a review anywhere before, but I feel like I have to here. I ordered a pork chop rice, soup, and 6-potsticker combo--a relatively small and simple order. I waited 17 minutes, then came back in to check on my order. Two workers standing at the front by the cash register immediately went and hid in the kitchen. I finally caught the attention of the cashier who took my order in the first place. He proceeded to tell me, "Oh, your dumplings are burnt. You need to wait another 2-3 minutes." Yeah, no thanks. I asked for a refund and left. If you realized the dumplings were burnt and only waited for me to check on my order before making a new batch, something is definitely wrong. Also, how tf do you burn the potstickers when that's your #1 SIGNATURE DISH basically? Like, ever heard of a timer? Plus having the person manning the cash register put in the new batch is ridiculous. When there were 4 workers in the back standing around doing nothing. Great gyoza style, and the steam dumplings rock for any flavor. The pork chop was a little reconstructed, and the beef noodle soup was good, but the daikon instead of carrot and no tendons was weird to me. There is a lot of seating, but where people order, where people get drinks and sauces, where people wait, and where they sit might be hard to navigate around each other. Not a problem on a weekday lunch, but might be frustrating later. Lots of taiwanese old ladies complaining about prices, so if you understand mandarin, just pretend you dont. Otherwise, the guy at the counter was amazingly nice and the bathrooms are clean. Will come back to this and the other chains if i see one. , read more
Our first time here. We found this place at the Cerritos shopping mall and thought that it would be similar to another dumpling house that we enjoyed located in Tustin, Super Dumplings. You really can't compare these two dumpling houses because their menu is different, first, and I suspect that the dumplings come from different regions of China. Bafang Dumplings originated out of Taiwan. The restaurant is bright and airy. They have indoor and limited outdoor seating. The restroom is clean. Michael, the manager, introduced himself and helped with describing their menu. It is simple. We wanted "not spicy " and were told that the Old Fashion Noodles or Sesame noodles did not have any spice. The others vary with spice level. When looking at their menu this items in the red shaded area is their signature dishes. I would suggest asking them about the level of spiciness for their dumplings. If you really like their dumplings, you can purchase frozen ones that they have in their restaurant. Our orders were served to us. My wife thought that the dumplings that we ordered were very good and different from other dumplings. They are long and skinny as opposed to smaller and fatter. We ordered the chicken and cornfield dumpling had them fried as opposed to boiled. They were tasty. My old-fashioned noodles came topped with green onions. A different flavor that it is difficult for me to describe, but it did have a bit of a sweet tangy taste to it. The protein I ordered was their fried pork. It too was different. I was expecting more of what I do at home on the grill, which is salt and pepper and throw it on the grill. They actually take the pork chop and deep fry it. There is no breading or seasoning so the flavor is unique and a bit bland, in my opinion. My wife said that her dish was good. The beef was tender. The noodles had a sweet tiny taste just like mine and it it was accompanied with cucumbers. My wife and I both agreed that this dumpling house deserve three stars. But not because Michael is not helpful. It's because their menu is different and limited. read more
Loved everything I ordered from Bafang recently. My food was excellent. The pork chops were light, crispy, and tender. It was cooked just right. The dumplings were all delicious. None were over or undercooked. The price for the amount of food was also just right and so was the efficiency of the order fulfillment. The service was fast and friendly. I truly have no complaints. Looking forward to revisiting if I'm ever in Cerritos again. read more

Been wanting to come here for awhile and was a little let down. But its so clean and modern inside with plenty of parking. The guy who helped us was great and explained stuff since it was me and my friend's first time here. I got the 6 bafang dumplings and the pork chop PORK CHOP TO DIE FOR!! Their garlic sauce is *chefs kiss* & i love that the sauces are available on the side. I wish they were plastic knives available tho cuz it was hard to cut my chop. I was not impressed by the dumplings mainly because it was mostly cabbage (?) and very little pork. But the portions are generous for good price. My friend loved hers tho she had the same dumplings and then the potstickers and i know she was interested in the ones with kimchi. I would try the beef dry noodle with the pork chop and i would definitely recommend people give it a try! Just dont know if ill be back anytime soon read more

Had pretty high hopes for this place, but pretty bummed in the end. Ordered ahead online since we were on a time crunch. Tried looking for ingredients for menu items since my partner doesn't eat pork or beef. Kinda hard to find info on everything. Got there, was greeted really quick, but the solo front worker disappeared while a handful of us waited around for our orders. Waited about ten minutes and our order was brought out by the same solo worker. She was friendly. The drive home, everything smelled good and we couldn't wait. Everything ended up being so bland, including the dipping sauces. We got the veggie dumplings, chicken and corn pot stickers, kimchi pork dumplings, and signature potstickers. The kimchi and pork filling was nice and the crisp on the potstickers was great, but everything was so meh. We thought the sauces would be able to save them, but the chili sauce was like thick chili water with seeds and the garlic sauce barely tasted like garlic and was just a tinge sweet. Black garlic just tasted like... garlic. We had to use our own sauces we had at home to try to eat everything. We also got the corn chowder and the beef noodle soup. Beef noodle soup was again bland, but the noodles were cooked perfectly. The best part about it was the pickled veggies. Sad about the corn chowder because I got it for my partner, but there were bits of ham? And some other ground meat in it, which she doesn't eat. Everything was about $50. Probably will just go to another dumpling spot along South Street, even if the parking is horrible around there. read more

Quick, easy and tasty! This location is super clean and always has someone available to help. I ordered the Signature Potstickers, Veggie Potstickers and Bafang Signature Noodles. Everything is made to order so you know you're getting your items hot and fresh. Regardless if you dine in or take it to go, your items will be placed in to-go containers. There's a condiment bar area for you to grab sauces and utensils if needed. If you really enjoy Bafang dumplings, you can purchase a bag of frozen ones in the store to take home for later! read more
To put it simply, the Taiwanese staple Bafang ALWAYS HITS. From the original to signature to the various MALA spice options, the handmade noodles are just the right balance of chewy an al dente for that perfect mouthfeel. Service is always efficient and on-point, especially for those with mobile orders. Come through well before closing so you can pull up as much garlic sauce, black vinegar, chili sauce, and sesame oil as the counter will allow. This particular location is adjacent to Los Cerritos Mall and is a great change of pace and vibes from the typical mall food while still being within striking distance! Frequent this spot and will continue to do so! read more
The dine in area was clean and spacious and our food came out fast. Unfortunately, most of the items tasted about the same, just the same dough and same meats in different shapes (noodles, dumplings, wontons, etc.). They are not expensive, so that's a plus, but we were underwhelmed by the quality and how uniform the flavors of everything were. The sauce options are also mostly the same, just different variations on a vinegar base and not that much of a variation. Even though I ordered spicy wontons, fried dumplings and noodles, I felt like I ate the same thing 3 times. It wasn't my favorite experience. read more
