This is defintely the best Thai food in the area. It hits your tastebuds harder than Hulk smashing Loki. The curries are rich in flavor and the noodles are perfectly cooked,, the texture is just spot on. I feel like Doctor Strange when I eat here just experiencing all the different flavor timelines at once. The Pad Kra Pow is superb and the seafood is just divine! But here is the real superpower. they can make dishes with absolutely no sugar! I usually keep a pretty close eye on carbs and sugar, so finding a spot that does this is huge. Most places can't do that cause their curries are pre-prepped like mass-produced Ultron bots. But Original Thai makes it to order from scratch. It is like Shuri customizing your gear right in the Wakandan lab. The ladies here are super friendly and treat you like family.. There are many Thai businesses in the area but this hidden gem provides exceptional customer service with delicious meals every time. I've been coming to this location for the past 4 years and have tried many different dishes but my go-to dishes are the Yellow Curry and Garlic Pepper Chicken. The portions are big enough to share and the rice is always spot on with the meat dishes. They have the pickled chili on the table and offer additional hot sauces if needed. Don't let this hidden place fool you! It's so good! The place is small but comfortable and very clean. The servers were so kind and were so happy we came from Los Angeles to try their food. The Pad see ew was fresh and the veggies were tender. The noodles were perfectly cooked too! The green curry was creamy,fragrant and balanced . My boyfriend loved the seafood soup said it reminded him of the Ochoa seafood soup from back in the days which sadly doesn't hit the same anymore. Only thing I would change would be to request a higher spice level. I requested the mild spice level and to me it was not spicy at all. Decent thai place around the area... We like their Pad See Ew, Panang Curry, Pad Kra Pow with beef & pineapple fried rice... Their dishes are pretty spicy if you order it extra spicy which we love... We have also tried their Pad Thai which was underwhelming and probably wouldn't order again... We prefer the pad see ew... Got shrimp Pad Thai, 9/10 and Beef with Broccoli, 7/10. Also got Thai Iced Tea, 10/10. They had everything done in few minutes. The ladies are all nice and greet you soon you come in. My first time and we got take out last weekend and I know I'm already going back this weekend. Really good Thai food with excellent flavors. We had it for the first time last weekend and I already want more. Like other reviews have mentioned, this is more of a take out place with a few small tables. The kitchen is open air so you can see the Chef cooking up your food nice and fresh. I called my order in and it was ready in the time they mentioned. Everything was great! Delicious. My favorite part of this place is they can substitute fish fillet for all of their dishes! Including the curries! And they can accommodate food allergies based on the menu. Highly recommend the spicy fish (makrut lime leaves! So good!!) and spicy fried rice (so gooood). We did medium spice but next time we are going to try "spicy." No wonder there's a line for lunch. Their portions are ginormous. And the flavors were popping. I'm not a huge fan of Thai food because most restaurants blandify their food. This one is an exception. Not pictured is the short ribs, which were piled on like a mountain and could probably feed 5 hungry adults. The same can be said of the other dishes we ordered. The drunken noodles were properly spiced with basil leaves being the most prominent flavor. The calamari stayed crunchy for the whole meal and the papaya salad had that slightly salty, fishy, limey flavor like it's supposed to. We went a bit early and were seated immediately. The interior was pleasant enough, slightly dated. Parking was pretty good. It's not a huge lot but enough spots that it wasn't painful. Recommended but if you're late, expect a wait. read more

We love take out from v Original Thai. Initially we weren't too fond of the food but after a few years, we gave it another try. Now we love it! Kids love the chicken satay and chicken pad see ew. Crab fried rice is the absolute favorite for my daughter and I. I've tried cream fried rice at so many That restaurants but nothing hits the spot like the one here. We get it every single time. The pad kee maw is also good but really spicy, even when you order it medium hear. It's not a drunken noodle but similar in texture and taste. The crispy pork gailan is also pretty good. Me and my wife ordered takeout for dinner from Original Thai and picked up the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp, crab fried rice, and cream cheese wontons. The Pad Thai noodles were a little stuck together, but the flavor was still solid. The crab fried rice had great taste and was definitely the highlight. There were a few small pieces of crab shell in the rice, but honestly, it just confirmed they're using the real deal and not imitation. The cream cheese wontons weren't the best we've had, but they were still decent. We did have one small issue, my wife went in to grab our food and asked for extra sweet and sour sauce and was were told it was already in the bag, but when we got home there was only one included. The lady who took my order remembered me when I visited for the second time First time I ordered Ka Praw, ground beef, basil over rice. In my opinion, this dish originally served with ground beef, not sliced. Other Thai places, I had to request it geounded, 50-50 chance if do-able. To see this dish as ground and nothing else, to me it's authentic. I pick medium spicy, although I will order it spicy next time. It's very flavorful so I give it 5 out of 5. Heard about this place decided on a lunch plate. Called in order and lunch only has entree and rice. Thai ice tea was 4.95 yucks lunch special 11.99 starting and up. Picked up area in restaurant seemed to rush to go orders, staff seemed short with customers, lady near me asked what the bbq lunch had and how many pieces of chicken? staff kept repeating do you want dinner or lunch special? It may be family owned, Could use improvements in customer service maybe just a smile would help. Entree was good ,Thai ice tea little watery for my liking Will I return? No sadly not any time soon. Originally when to another Thai restaurant but because it was New Year Eve evening, they weren't taking anymore take out orders. So I found this place through Yelp and saw it had a 5 star. This place is a small restaurant and is strictly only for take out orders . There is no place for dine in seating. Some would say this is a hole in the wall place, which we all know ends up being the best place to get food. There were two ladies working and one took my order and which was chicken pad thai, two orders of chicken fried rice, two orders of chicken satay and one order of chicken pad see ew for my niece who specifically wanted this entree. I mentioned to them that she has a seafood allergy, therefore cannot have oyster sauce or fish sauce in the ingredients. The lady told me that no problem and she would use something else. Needless to say, my niece said it was the best pad see ew she has had. All of the other items that I ordered were very tasty and cooked fresh. I was really impressed and will definitely come back again. Also, if you check in on Yelp, you get a free thai tea drink. Tried Original Thai for the first time because we were looking for a Thai restaurant that gave free Thai tea when checking in on Yelp lol. We placed a to-go order for their Pad Thai with chicken and Yellow Curry with pork, and both were delicious. The chicken and pork surprisingly weren't dry like other restaurants. The Yellow Curry also came with a side of white rice, which most restaurants don't usually offer anymore. Service was great. May 2023 I appreciate the service I got at the location. The ladies were very attentive and got my order quickly. They frequently checked up on me was well. I ordered the boat noodle which is one of my favorites and it did not disappoint. The beef was tender and moist and the noodles were cooked just right. The entrees can use a little work, chicken was a little try and ribs were chewy (not in a good way). I think overall the flavor was there, just the cook or quality on the proteins were ehhh.
