I ordered the Thai Boat Noodle and my husband got the Noodle King special. Honestly, it's basically the same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. I was in the area at a doctor's appointment and my bf googled around the area for Thai Food. We came upon Thai Noodle since they were close by and the pictures looked good. It's tucked in a small strip mall with limited parking. The inside is very small, but cozy, clean, and has a warm mom and pop feel to it. The menu is pretty big with lots of options to choose from. _Chicken Satay ($11.59) Strips of chicken charcoal broiled. Served with peanut sauce and cucumber chutney. Always a must try. This was probably one of the most well cooked and seasoned satay. Very moist and well flavored. The peanut sauce was spot on and the vinegar sweet chutney is a perfect balance and adds a nice crunch texture. _Tom Kha Fish Noodle Soup ($14.99) Rice noodles with fresh fish filet, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, galangal, kaffir lime, leaves in coconut milk spicy & sour soup. I would grow up having Tom Kha soup with my dad but was surprised as I've never seen fish kha in a noodle soup. I've had lots of Tom Kha and this is one of the top 3 I've had. The perfect amount of spices and aromas. Not too acidic or watery, and the right amount of sweetness. The fish was soft and had a good amount. The noodles were glass noodles, which was nice but I will say towards the end, the noodle soaks a lot of the broth. I would probably switch out for a different type of noodle next time. _Spicy Fried Rice ($13.79) Stir-fried with green beans, bell pepper, basil and your choice of chicken, pork or tofu. My bf ordered this and he did ask for medium but it was not really spicy (and that's coming from me, someone who really can't do spicy) Second time he ordered it mild and he said it was better and it did pack a bit more of a punch. I do appreciate that the rice was well seasoned and not too oily or buttery. _Orange Chicken ($13.79) Chicken breaded stir fried with Orange sauce. We have been on an orange chicken kick and compare to our favorite at Northern Cafe. We were pleasantly surprised, that this actually knocked it out. To be fair, its very different. I'm used to orange chicken being very sweet and heavy on sauce. This was more of a light sauce that had a tangerine flavor profile, so not overpowering, but still tasting the chicken with the sweetness being the enhancement instead of the main component. _Yen Ta Fo ($14.99) Pink rice noodles with special red soup, shrimp, squid, fish-balls, fish cake, imitation crab stick, tofu, white fungus & vegetables. I first saw this, when my gf, whom is Thai ordered it and I was intrigued as it was a dish I have never seen. I tried a bit and was a fan so when I saw they had it, I had to try their version. The soup was the perfect balance of sweet and sour (and I generally don't like sour), a bit acidic but also had a subtle light and refreshing taste to it. The white fungus had a nice chew to it, but more texture than taste. Safe to say we have found our new favorite Thai restaurant. We came here twice, and both times service is always very inviting and kind. Price is very fair for the quality and quantity. read more

The fish noodle soup was one of the best things I've ever had, so sour and rich and delicious. Nice big portions, I was able to take some for leftovers. There's a Noodle king in Bellflower indeed!! Right in the middle of the plaza, cross streets are Alondra and Eucalyptus. This restaurant is not too big but its cozy enough for 2 or a party of 5. As I enter, I was greeted right away with a smile and to sit at any empty table available. Menu is easy to figure out, I went with the King special. My girlfriend copy me of course lol. 6 mins later our soup dish arrive. One taste of the broth, I was totally shocked. It taste so friggin good. I finished everything in the bowl haha. A local gem was feeling brave and tried out this spot and this was definitely a hit. We ordered a fried rice with chicken and a Coconut seafood soup, you can adjust that to your spice level and we did mild and it was perfect. We also got a pad thai with shrimp which was cooked just right. Everything we ordered was made fresh on the spot the food came out steaming hot. There is a little bit of seating we got lucky and didn't get a packed timing around 3-4pm. The lady who served us was very lovely and attentive brought the sauces we needed for the side and our plates to serve before the food was even out. There's no music if you need a place to come eat and chat this is it. Such a cute, local find! I love Thai food and Thai Noodle King does it right. My boyfriend and I got the beef pad see ew and papaya salad. The beef pad see ew was so good. We were surprised by the quality of the beef and chewy texture of the noodles. We ordered the papaya salad with mild spice and it was still a bit too spicy for me. If you can't handle spice like me, I'd go the no spicy route next time. I saw mango sticky rice on the menu which I'm looking forward to trying next time! Service was quick and our waiter was nice. my husband and i came in today after finding this place on yelp, and we are so glad we found it! it is located next door to a barber shops and liquor store with plenty of parking. the restaurant is a smaller hidden gem. we ordered the egg rolls, chicken pad thai, and tom yum noddle soup (level spicy) which is a new addition on the menu. i ended up ordering a mango sticky rice to go as well. the food was such a delicious comfort meal, and so well seasoned with the perfect amount of enjoyable spice. the portions were also very filling and by the time i thought to take a picture of the food we had ate it all. we will definitely be back. thank you thai noodle king! read more

This one was a little different tasting than the Tom yum noodle soups I get, but still very tasty. Have ordered the boat noodle here twice and love that you can choose wide noodles! I've only had thai boat noodle a couple times, and I appreciate that Thai Noodle King doesn't make theirs too sweet. Also got to try the Panang Chicken Curry and it was delicious! The chicken wasn't dry at all. I will say even ordering it with no spice it still had a bit of kick to it. I've been here 4 to 5 times in just one month because I had to try every noodle soup on the menu and honestly, they're all amazing. The flavors are super authentic and every bowl feels like it was made with care. The duck noodle soup is probably my favorite. It's so rich, flavorful, and the duck is perfectly tender. But let me say, the Pad Thai combo (shrimp, chicken) was fantastic! The serving was huge, ingredients fresh, noodles were firm, not mushy, and the peanuts were crunchy - mot old. This was the halfway point meeting spot for my son and me and YES, they are OPEN for July 4th same hours! The server/order taker fielded no less than 12 calls, asking precisely this during our 40 minutes there. The two rows of limited slanted parking are taken by several shop owners (they should park around the corner to allow more patrons direct access). I was waiting for my son for almost 20 minutes and witnessed this. Granted, there's a donut and liquor store so some spots will turn over pretty quickly, but being considerate helps! Chicken satay was brimming with tender meat! Definitely a worthy appetizer. The Tom Yum soup came out in the traditional Thai serving ware. It was bracingly tart to the point where my taste buds even yelled out. The chicken pad Thai with extra serving of chicken were well portioned for two meals. Brisk and polite service; note there are no public restrooms even for patrons (not good for out of county patrons like me)... This place checked off the needed boxes today for our meeting place, but I need a place for restrooms, and I shouldn't have to stress about parking or transients loitering nearby. read more

Ordered 3 items for takeout today. Requested MILD yellow curry with chicken. It was an odd orangish color, too spicey, and (I swear!) loaded with white sugar which made it sickeningly sweet while being too spicey to eat. Entree of Cashew Nuts, with tofu, had NO cashews whatsoever! He must have forgotten to put them in. What she received was a bunch of tofu (tasty) and a very few vegetables.
